The fact that Kiryu has thought SINCE YAKUZA 0 (and probably earlier than Y0) that he's only really good for fighting just. Breaks my heart. Like it genuinely devastates me. The only way he thought he'd be able to pay Kazama back for taking care of him was by eventually dying fighting for him. He was so ready to throw his own life away since such a young age. Wtf.

(Probably should have made this KCD related but this had a bigger grip on me. I think once I get done with the current fic I might try a knight au.)
I also have an idea for a comic where I redraw the bonus ending of Yakuza 0 where Kiryu and Goro meet for the first time but it's Hoshina and Kafka.
Seriously, for those of you that know how Goro sounds try to imagine Hoshina saying "HIBINO-CHAN!!!" in the same way. Bet you 20 bucks you can't do it with out laughing on the first try.
