my other post AU thoughts are either silly funny time with the wetlands pokemon or vine related stuff, but i also have some other stuff going on

more silly Ash-like antics (ft. goodra, on some occasions). they're taking advantage of the vines just so they can eliminate them in more unconventionally silly (but fun) ways

does greninja ever question how he even got that ability to see through anything in the first place? how he managed to find chespie inside the megalith or the main source of the vines?

vine-free days where they can just. chill. go out. do whatever they want. relax, and just bond with their fellow trio, even rant about past events in the spring while they're at it

Np, all post-AU thoughts are fun ones (ngl most thoughts are fun when you look at them in a certain angle). As it is, let's go!

So many silly Ash-like antics! Sure, they're on a quest to defeat evil massive never-ending vines, but they're going to do it with the least amount of brain cells possible, if only for the fun of it all. I mean, hey! They're always going to see these vines all around the region. Might as well make a game out of it! ...As much as Goodra tries, not even they can resist the temptation whenever they're around lol. (This is totally not me realising that if Grenin and Goodra can get some Ash tendencies around here, it could mean that Squishy can get some of theirs based of Bonnie lol. Getting curious in new circumstances. Helping out in the strangest situations with complete strangers. Sometimes even getting chatty, though they try to restrain that in front of their comrades heh)

He probably does wonder about the vision, especially on... harder days. About the extent of his abilities, and if he'll just keep gaining more and more and more. Responsibilities, distance, pain. After all, the ability to see happened because something bad was happening, right? Chespie was hurt. Did that mean that other abilities arise through hardship as well, and are they really the good sign they seem to be? So many questions that not even Zygarde can answer. ...He tries not to think about it, but the thoughts persist.

Relaxtion days! I bet after a lot (and I mean a lot!) of work, the vines would have to slumber or try to regain energy, far below the surface, so short from literally digging them out the only thing left for the defender trio to do is just chill out and take their own break. It's actually kind of funny how we're just canonising the chilling out in the springs here, it's their go-to after a long day. Sometimes they go in all at once, sometimes in turns, sometimes they even sleep in it (accidently!...). Also just getting to know each other and even the wetlands, observing the region with less stress, letting all of those pent-up feelings out (re: so much ranting).

Don't worry about it, because more and more I'm becoming pretty normal about them too (I say, chewing on them like a rabid dog or a particularly interested child with gum) /lh

(Also dang, hopefully it gets easier for you! You're amazing as it is, but as always there's no rush and don't beat yourself up either way <33) (also condolences because now I'm just thinking of the phenomenal effort required to draw so much Ash for that comic, let alone the others ;w;)
