yelling into the void, does anyone know of any free video editors (preferably open source but alas) that are fairly light-weight? I would only really need to have basic tweening and of alpha and position of images over an audio track.

#my laptop really likes overheating and shutting down on me without warning #probably something fucked w/ its fans somewhere along the refurbishing line #and we're also in the middle of a heatwave so uh.#video #video editing #'for what do you want that' you'll know if it turns out #some folk might have an inkling #for now i just want to make a proof of concept for myself #...blender would probably wokr. that's my backup plan for now #if push comes to a shove if it's multiplatform i can ask my dad with a beefier laptop to render it for me #but editing is still. a thing.
