42/100 Days Of Productivity

Today I focused on C++.
Studied some theory, watched some tutorials, learned some new stuff and did some exercises!
For some reason I find it really normal for me to stay in my home all this time. I am motivated to study, but of course, as everyone, I am anxious about this whole situation that is going on.
I hope everyone stays safe and inside their home. And let's hope this situation will end soon!
Stay safe everyone!

The Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) condemns the US imperialists for heightening provocations and warmongering against Russia in Ukraine. The CPP condemns the Biden regime for issuing sanctions and mobilizing troops in Eastern Europe as part of war preparations against Russia.Heightened US provocations follows the recognition of Russia of the People’s Republic of Donetsk and the People’s Republic of Lugansk in the predominantly Russian region of Donbass, in the eastern part of Ukraine. This was Russia’s response to the artillery strikes in Donbass by the US-supported fascist forces of Kyiv over the past few days.
Russia’s recognition of the independent people’s republics are well within its rights. Such recognition has long been sought after by the autonomous governments in the Donbass region. The people’s republics have been fighting for their right to self-determination since 2014 when the US-installed Kyiv government mounted relentless attacks and acts of aggression against people in the region. It is also within the rights of Russia and the independent republics to have Russia deploy peacekeeping troops as an act of defense to help the Russian people in the region against military attacks by the US and Kyiv governments, as it did in 2014 when the Russian-majority people of Crimea voted to separate itself from Ukraine to rejoin the Russian federation.
The Biden government is distorting historical facts and current realities by insisting that the presence of Russia in the Donbass region constitutes an “invasion” in the desperate attempt to justify the increased military intervention in Ukraine including the possibility of US forces deployment. Biden has ordered his state secretary to cancel negotiations with Russia despite rhetoric of remaining open to talks.
The US continues to provoke Russia by pushing for the inclusion of Ukraine in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) which would allow the US and allied imperialist powers to position its missiles and other war matériel in the border right next to Russia. The objective of the US is expand the market for its military weapons and boost military production. The plan to have Ukraine join the NATO tramples on the red line set by the Minsk Agreement which constrains NATO’s eastward expansion into the former Warsaw Pact countries. The US drive to expand its military power in Ukraine is part of its aim to put pressure on Germany and other European countries cancel its contracts for the operation of the Nord Stream 2. The strategic aim of the US is to grab Russia’s oil market in Europe for itself. Russia’s Nord Stream 2, completed last year but which has yet to commence operation, has the potential of doubling the volume of natural gas which the country supplies to Europe. The Biden government’s increasingly aggressive actions and war mobilization serves the interests of American big oil. US fracking interests have long wanted to expand its overseas markets since oversupply of US shale oil has pushed down prices and resulted in losses. Since the Trump regime, they have been pushing to forge contracts with Germany and other European countries to buy US shale oil and cut contracts for Russia to supply much cheaper natural gas.
The US governments push against Russian oil is causing artificial disruptions in oil supply and are being taken advantaged of by profit-hungry monopoly capitalist oil companies to raise prices through speculation and hoarding. Oil companies are raking in large volumes of profits as the price of crude oil is set to surpass $100 per barrel. In the Philippines, the Filipino people are suffering from the debilitating effect of non-stop increases in oil prices over the past two month, which are indirect effects of US war provocations in Europe. Rising prices of oil products are pushing high the costs of transportation, food, and other commodities and rapidly eroding the purchasing power of workers and toiling people. The Filipino people must protest the incessant oil price increases and demand oil companies to immediately rollback prices. At the same time, they must join the international peace-loving community and anti-imperialist forces in denouncing US provocations and warmongering and demand that the US stop its drive to push for the eastward expansion of NATO towards the borders of Russia.

The Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) today condemned the Israel government and defense forces for its terrorist air strikes and ground shelling of the highly populated Gaza Strip over the past four days killing more than 100 Palestinians.
Hundreds of Israel airstrikes started on May 11 hitting civilian residences and crowded areas of the Gaza Strip, home to more than 2 million Palestinians. Yesterday, a residential tower in Central Gaza housing 80 families was bombed and reduced to rubble. As of yesterday, a total of 103 Palestinians including 27 children have been killed in these strikes while 580 were wounded since the air strikes started last Monday.
“The CPP denounces in the strongest terms Israel’s terrorist air strikes and shelling against Palestine and its people,” said CPP Chief Information Officer Marco Valbuena. He extended the CPP’s solidarity to the Palestinian people in their defense of their homeland, including the remaining communities in East Jerusalem.
“Israel’s air strikes and shelling are a disproportionate use of force to suppress the Palestinian people’s struggle to defend their land,” added Valbuena. “The Israeli reactionaries must be made to pay for their war crimes.”

future as an entertainment
I hear myself just fine. I can also read you a tad misguided and uninformed about this plethora of Clinton war votes. The only "nay" vote came from Congresswoman Barbara Lee, and she only voted against it because it was too vague. On Tuesday they said he had 2 3 days left. I was thinking about it for a few days now. Lucky 13
thirteen. Thirteen. THIRTEEN.
These years that keep on tickin by, truly give no fucks.
Ugh. Every year I fight with if I want to keep this thang goin (the blog. or whatever you wanna call this), and every year I say to myself “but this is the 13th year, (or whichever year we’re on)” sooo, why stop now. The reason I go back and forth with myself, is because it can be kind of painful opening this box, that I pretty much only “open” once a year. That old saying “time heals all wounds” bounces around in my head every now and again, it’s just something people have grown accustomed to say. Why do we do that?? It’s a bullshit phrase, and frankly IT AIN’T TRUE! Time makes it bearable, sure. But for me, if I allow myself to think about my last day with my dad and the fact that I had no clue that it was our last day together, all time does for me, is make it hurt more. It makes me realize that now it’s been THIRTEEN years, since I last had an actual conversation with him, since I last hugged him. In those earlier years, thinking about being with him and seeing him 2-3 years ago vs. now and it being over a decade later, was soo much easier because those memories were more fresh in my mind. Soo I say all that to say, fuck. It’s still hard, and I think it will always be hard to visit that part of my heart that I’ve locked away. Especially as we continue to get older, and we’re now raising our kids, and recognizing things that my parents did for me and my sibs, that I probably wouldn’t recognize if I weren’t a parent. I’m falling more and more in love with Matthew as I watch him be the most amazing father to our young men, so much to the point that it terrifies me. Yesterday, (as I was mentally trying to prepare myself to write this lovely excerpt) I was laying in Matt’s arms thinking about how damn much I love him and then realized, that it absolutely terrifies me to allow myself to fully love because I feel like the moment I do…I can’t even write my deepest fears because I refuse to let it exist in writing. But I just don’t want anything shitty to happen. Don’t worry, booking my next appt with my therapist in a few minutes 🙃 I realize that living that way isn’t conducive for anyone including ya girl 🙋🏾♀️ So I’ve decided to allow myself to fully love for the first time in 13 years. That’s not to say that I haven’t been head over hills in love with my man, my boo thang, my soul mate! However, there’s a difference between 90% and 100% know what I’m sayin? Damn, this is a long one. Sorry! Other than still figuring this shit out as the time races on by, I’ve made a shift in my career and I still can’t believe it. I quit my well paying fully remote job and took real estate classes and now I’m waiting to take my real estate exam! I pray it was the right move, but if not I’ll do what my dad was a pro at and make a way out of no way. Mom is still workin her ass off and spoiling her GamGam boys, I’m soo proud of the things she’s doing! I ain’t gonna put all her stuff on blast, but I see you MA! You’re AMAZING! Keep doing what you’re doing, because watching you is motivational! Brother is still adventurous getting the dopest most random jobs because he’s just like dad haha, he works for the Clippers (Yhup the basketball team) they’re currently just starting the off season, which is great because he decided to give his arm a little compound fracture 🤦🏾♀️ just like dad. Gordy is one year down at CPP and just got an electric bike, keeping true to the hippieish/vegetarian vibes. All of our young men are growing (way too fast) we’re gearing up for the twins 3rd bday and baby boy Nova is just trying to keep up with his big bros. Gosh damn it! I really wish dad were here for this phase of our lives. Until next year…

Living with Losing You - 10/26/2022
We lost.
We lost our dual meet today for the varsity boys. You know though, it’s okay. I can get into that more later.
Today I woke up early and talked to Cassidy on the phone for about 45 minutes. we had a good convo about realistic expectations (of multiple things), and how she feels like I could be happier living somewhere else. She isn’t wrong.
After that I got dressed and took Sadie to the park across the street. I really like this group that I have recently discovered. There is a dog named Loki that is super fluffy. You would have loved him. She played for about 45 minutes, then I had to come home and start my work meetings.
Work was very productive today. Unfortunately I have not have time to run to the store, so I bought PS and the a salad from Sheldon’s today. I was glad that I ate though, cause I was really stressing out about the boy’s race later on. The food helped calm my nerves. Stress eating for the win! I really do need to go to the store, I really just have not had a minute. The struggle is real. I need to go this weekend. My goal would be to start with cooking / making at last 1 meal per day, and then going from there. Baby steps. Slow and steady wins the race.
The race was at our competitor’s home course, so I know that had to factor into everything. Even though we lost, the boys still performed fairly well, and we can still get them at league! I really cannot express enough how beneficial coaching has been. It has been so healthy for me, especially with all that’s going on. Being outside and helping other people are two of my favorite things.
I ran into Teague cause his team and their opponent were also racing the same day at the same course. It is always fun to hang out with him, it brings me back to CPP days. It’s pretty crazy to believe that that was all 10 years or so ago. Time is such a strange phenomenon. Lawler (used to coach and ran with him in H.S.), and Coach Con also came out which meant a lot.
After the meet all of the coaches went to dinner across the street, but before that happened some of them had to ride the busses back to their schools. Teague, Lawler, and I headed back to my apartment and hung out while we were waiting for them to start to head over. Teague asked if he could borrow a top (he didn't want to wear his school gear out) and so I let him borrow the green and brown jacket that you bought for me, and then he ended up using one of your shirts. It was slightly weird, but he is like a brother to me so likely one of the only people i’d let do that as of now. But, dinner went super well, it’s always nice to connect with other coaches from the district. We all have really the same goal in mind - and that is mentoring and supporting our athletes to be the best. Well, I should say most everyone. I’ll leave it at that again (lol).
After dinner Teague came over and we talked for a while. It was nice to catch up with him since it had been forever. After he left, I ate ice cream, and now I am getting ready to go to bed.
Today was a good day. It was productive with work, and also overall just want the boys to know that 100% effort is all we ask. If you run your best, then there is nothing you can ever regret. James, you tried so hard and you ran your hardest and fastest race until you just physically couldn’t anymore. I hope you know I am proud of you, and those who love you and know you are proud of you and all of the work you put in to try and be better. You are so loved, always will be.
Rest in Peace, James Burton Nichols.
