I hate to be the bearer of bad news but it seems to me like Joss is very deep in the alt-right rabbit hole because he didn't just follow people that are somewhat more well-known around the world (like Trump, Tate and Rogan) but some extremely right-wing people that are virtually unknown outside America (and even in America some are pretty niche), like Pearl (JustPearlyThings), Candace Owens, etc. I only know of them because I'm very into the left-wing political content on Youtube and the people I follow talk about these right-wing extremists and criticise what they stand for. And what they stand for is pretty disgusting. They're spreading not just queerphobia, but also mysogyny, xenophobia, etc. You would have to be pretty deep into this stuff to know about these people, let alone follow them. And unfollowing them after people called Joss out on it doesn't mean anything, especially not that Joss has suddenly had a change of opinion. It just means he learned to keep that shit secret and not talk about it.

I view him on almost the same level as Foei now tbh.

YOU. YOUR TAGS ON THE BAD SHOW THAT GOT GOOD THEN BAD AGAIN. I was trying to think of other shows and mindlessly clicked on the tags and saw yours.

iZombie was a fantastic show that my best friend and I watched in high school but sadly never finished together cause I moved immediately after graduating- we weren't accustomed to being apart and she wasn't a huge fan of video chat watching sites that I used with other (online) friends.

I am so fucking curious as to how it all plays out but jesus christ was it getting messy when we stopped watching. I genuinely hated zombie based movies/shows after watching that cause I felt... mildly uncomfortable?? Idk. I love gory shows and comedy but mixing them was a stretch with that and WWDITS I fear. Good for a short while, but once you're past the original story it started on, it gets stretched thin.

yeah i never finished the show but i did watch a video on it. it was kind of a while ago. basically i only understood the ending was kind of like the rest of the show. weird and badly executed.

A simple way to think about things is that wild magic is like water in a well and a wand helps bring it out like turning on a faucet. Can see it like water to a soup and then the actual wish is like adding ingredients. Organized magic is like the complete soup. You eat it, you share it and there might be some things left in the bottom.

Referring back to chapter 3:

""" School did say something about when granting a wish, you combine the wish with the wild magic in you and it multiplies, becoming organized. Part of it becomes the manifestation of the wish, part of it returns to you and the rest is sent to the big wand, with a little over-spilling on earth so that fairies don’t go hungry. """

Meaning that a fairy will eat part of the soup, filling them with organized magic, which can be used more easily. Part will be used like energy for everyday living, and part will be stored for later, like putting it in a fridge.

So, it isn't always to easy for a fairy to overeat, but if your fridge is full, and you are too, what about the rest of the soup? What is one to do?

Well, no one likes to waste food, so, of course one eats. Yet, too much, is still too much and it may come to a point it hurts. It's too much after all, and it is still a part of them.

It can be seen as a less dangerous form of magical backup.

Though, the only real difference is the simple fact that organized magic is easier to just use and get out of your system. Then again, it can be hard to just do that if you're focused on granting wishes, a lot of wishes.

But, hey, surely that would never happen, right?

Truly, it's very rare, considering the fact that the well would more likely run dry before one can get full. Most fairies do have a pretty reasonable size to their well.

Though, there are indeed some fairies that have quite a big well, not many, but a few. hehe. Some of which we may have met.

Hey, don't worry about it. I'm sure everyone will be fine. In the end. Whenever that is.

In addition, based on the show, it's reasonable to assume that granting too many wishes won't do a fairy well.

Either they become lethargic from their well running dry, or become too full from their stomach and fridge not having more space.
