Mistigram: VisiCalc was the killer app for the Apple II and home computing has never been the same since its introduction, so let's give it up for National #Spreadsheet Day! AdeptApril has taken the liberty of illustrating some rows and columns in #ANSIart for the occasion.

Mistigram: It's AdeptApril's turn to urge us to #RememberRememberTheFifthOfNovember for #GuyFawkesDay, with an #ANSIart arrangement of his mask, as widely seen in the 2005 film adaptation of Adam Moore's #VForVendetta comic (where this specific design was the handiwork of illustrator David Lloyd) ... or every day, for members of #Anonymous.

Mistigram: Some December calendar events are more obviously seasonal than others. Today AdeptApril's #ANSIart screen celebrates National Christmas Tree Day, a stealth rebranding for wider audiences of the Catholic Immaculate Conception Day during which trees are often put up.

Mistigram: AdeptApril reminds us in #ANSIart that today is Name Your PC day. Back when Mist started and we were running MS-DOS and using Amigas and Atari STs, the only systems we encountered that had names were Unix ones we logged into remotely, but now for networking purposes all Windows, Linux and Mac machines must have names. So I guess today is more of a matter of 'dwell on your PC's mandatory name' day.

Mistigram: if the song lyric is to be believed, not only is this #goose a-laying, but there are five more just like it just out of sight. Me, I think the #ANSIart illustrator AdeptApril was perhaps taking some shortcuts here. (Granted, I would too in that situation!)

Mistigram: this Spring has already been a pretty magical season, what with the appearance of the Easter eggs, Christ's resurrection and that business with the eclipse, and capping it all off, today is National #Unicorn Day! This #ANSIart screen celebrating the occasion was drawn by AdeptApril for Storm BBS.

Mistigram: on this date 121 years ago, Orville Wright became the first person to ever make a sustained airplane flight (for 12 seconds at least) near #KittyHawk, North Carolina. AdeptApril has drawn this #ANSIart illustration of the #WrightFlyer in honour of the occasion.

Mistigram: today we share the final image from AdeptApril's ~2020 Storm BBS #ANSIart calendar, a swan for the seventh day of Christmas on December 31st, marking a complete year we have spent posting one of these screens daily.
