I like to think that the only reason Otto doesn't flirt with Branch is because he considers Branch too young for him but not like in a "oh sweetie I'm too old for you" type of way but in a "Ew who let this 16 year old in" type of way. Like Otto seems like the type to absolutely despise kids in public spaces, and even tho Branch his NOWHERE considered a child, Otto still treats him like that. Aka, "Why did they even let you in here?" "I'm 25."

Otto isn't scared of the bros... He's scared of Poppy 😳 ... but don't give him too much credit

I've never in my life hated being a fan of something more than I do right now. Between pushing an artist to the point he has to write a song calling it toxic "fans" to people going on social media and commenting things on a post that are... Well for lack of a nicer way of saying it... Calling for the death of another artist. I'm genuinely appalled by some of these people.

these pics in particular had me like 👀 a sports au where they're doing a press conference after the game and everyone can tell they're into each other but they're "just friends"

or an actors au with them both being cast on a movie together and clearly falling in love as the press tour goes on, it's all people online can talk about, and everyone sees it but them

or an au where they're in a band together and this is how they look at each other during interviews and their other band members (tbd) have a running bet going for when they're going to finally kiss

"That's the thing, Aeth, I can't just... turn it off." Dew says, turning his hands over, fingers flexing lightly, "I... When I love someone or something, that's... all of me. I love with all of myself. I can't half-ass this sort of thing; Either I love you or I don't, and I just..."

"...Don't?" Aether whispers, his eyes cast to the ground, at the way Dew's feet are turned inward, away from his wider stance, close but not quite touching, "Not that... that way?"

He gives a shallow nod.

"I love you, Aeth, I love you so fucking much." Dew admits easily, the words coming out without embarrassment or shame, "You're important to me, but I..."

Dew reaches out and lifts Aether's chin so their eyes meet.

"I love you, but I'm not in love with you."

Aether sniffs, and gives a wet laugh.

"I don't... I don't know if I should be... upset or just... just relieved, I guess."

Dew snorts.

"You came out here ready to reject me, and I rejected you instead, how about them apples?"

"I'm glad, I was..." Aether rubs his eyes with the butt of his palm, "I was scared things were... were gonna be awkward or you'd be mad and leave... I dunno."

"Aeth, you're my best friend," Dew says, bumping their shoulders together, "you're stuck with me until the world ends."

"Oh noo..." Aether giggles, "A fate worse than death!"

"Oh, shut up."

A silence falls between the pair as they settle, leaning back on the bench they're sitting on.

"So." Aether hums.

"So." Dew sighs, inhaling slowly, closing his eyes.

"...Are you and Mountain really just roommates now, or are you, you know, roommates?"

Dew swats Aether with his tail.

"Ow!"

Thinking about Alpha and Ifrit, who both have Meliora uniforms. Where all the ghouls are required to wear their last stage uniforms for Sister Imperator's funeral. Having further thoughts about Ifrit seeing Alpha in his uniform for the first time and thinking he looks downright sinful in it, pulled tight across his chest, wrapped around his thick thighs.

Thinking about Ifrit pulling Alpha into a quiet corner after the service, mumbling against his mouth about 'the fuckin' things you do to me' whilst Alpha, knowingly smug, returns the gesture in kind and so so much more and really hoping this washes out.
