Characters + designs + concept (L is for Love).

Because "L is for Love" is the only episode that shows all the loud's love interests. So yeah, I use all love interests and designed them but it may change in future. (That's why this au got delayed)

- Gavin and Leni, I'm not sure if Gavin and Leni are still together or maybe Gavin ends up like all Leni's boyfriends or not, but maybe hope.

- Francisco and Lynn, in the upcoming episode shown that Lynn now falls in love with a boy in the Swiss Alps. So, Francisco is out. (But I still use his design for fun)

- Winston and Lola, unsure.

- Skippy and Lana, unsure.

- David and Lisa, unsure.

Bobby, Lori, Sam, Luna, benny, Luan are official couples and I already made their appearance. So, yeah.

- Winston's first design is supposed to be a prince just like Lola's male counterpart, but I think it would be funny if he's a knight and wants to make a different.

- Lana's overall had a blue color just like the original, but because Skippy's pants are blue. so I changed her overall color, blue turn to dark gray (just like OG.Skippy's pants).

- Gavin's first design was similar to Leni's male counterpart but got changed for some reasons (I can't remember).

- Lynn's first design was similar to dipper (GF) outfit but got scrapped because doesn't fit.

- Sam's design used to have a teal streak in her bangs but got removed and gave it to Luna's design.

i was today's year old when i found out that Jim Beaver plays in "Crimson peak" as Carter Cushing. I feel dumb 🥲 I watched that movie 5 times and never realised it still now😭

Okay, I do have a bookblr but I know if I post it there no one will see it, so:

Has anyone read "The Girls I've Been", by Tess Sharpe, and if so, can you help me understand some of Lee's past? I love this book to bits and have been rereading it over the last couple days, but something that's always bugged me is that I know we are *meant* to know what happened to Lee in the past, because Nora works it out and throughout the book she very much tells the reader what we're supposed to know, so what she knows is what we know, and right when she confronts her mom about it, she thinks/the narration is this: "But I know. I don't want to, but of course I do." It just really gives me the sense that we as the reader are supposed to be inferring something obvious from this, but I've always been very lost.

So, to recap, my questions are:

What happened to Lee before she got out?

Who were Abby's marks before criminals?

I have some ideas, so I'll put those under the readmore- if you haven't read the book, please don't click it as it's a brilliant book and I don't want to spoil anyone! Trigger warnings for below should be obvious to people who have read the book- just mentioning those themes.

Okay, so, as for the first question, Abby says "they", implying it's multiple people, which made me think maybe she was kidnapped at some point, and had to get out/Abby had to get her back?

But then, Nora thinks/narrates that Lee is the strongest person she knows, and that her mom made it clear that what happened to her (being molested) wouldn't happen to a strong girl like Lee. Abby says "Your sister was never like this when they". So, something horrible happened to Lee that involved multiple people, in a way that is similar to what happened to Nora. This makes me think Lee was maybe gang raped? But then, Abby also says the bit about it being "a lot worse" than what happened to Nora. So, now I'm thinking she was maybe trafficked? I am really lost, and I feel like I'm missing some big piece of the picture by not understanding something we are *supposed* to get from the text.

Also, I feel like it would be a lot more obvious to me if I knew the answer to the second question- something Nora narrates as "of course" she knows. If they weren't criminals, what were they, cops? A specific type of criminal different to the ones she targets now, like maybe entire gangs? Feds, given Nora's aversion to them (not that she doesn't have other reasons)? I feel like the implication is that if they're not criminals, they're someone who is *supposed to be seen* as normal, as nice, as helpful- hence my guess at cops. The whole "who's the real villain" idea, the monster always comes from within maybe if it's civilians- there are so many possibilities. Then, there's what Abby says about never thinking they would get "close" enough. I've got no clue what that means, but it's probably pointing to something here.

So, TLDR; I'm autistic and missing the obvious. Can someone who read and understood this part of the book explain what the implied answer to those two questions I bullet pointed is? I really think it would help me better understand the book as a whole. Thank you xx

Hello ♡ It's been a while!

It's been over a year I think? I haven't kept track tbqh

I'm not really back, because I want to be noncommittal as possible (since I have a tendency to disappear when my motivation to write does)

But this is me saying that I'm finally working on under the rose again! ♡

I'd all but abandoned it months ago, but yesterday I had a burst of energy and managed to write a couple hundred words. Tonight, the total is 1300. It's not much, but it's a start!

I don't talk about my personal life for many reasons, but this year has been one of the most difficult I've ever experienced. The last thing on my mind has been Will and Azul, as much as I wish they'd kept occupying every inch of it like they used to.

That spark is coming back, I think! ♡ (More in the tags since this is getting long)
