Dabihawks X super psycho love headcanons
Okay, I was in a music mood and now this song came on and it gave me DabiHawks ideas so, let's go with it.
Song is super psycho love by Simon Curtis.
Hawks actually becomes a villain AU? I think so. Why not?
So, it starts how it did in canon, Hawks is originally trying to join the League to spy on them for the Hero Safety commission.
He meets Dabi and is attracted to him but is also like but he's a villain and nothing's gonna happen
He is wrong
First encounters are the usual mix of threats and sexual tension that i've seen in the few DabiHawks fics I've read. Very much I'm attracted to you but I don't like you as a person, you know.
Hawks manages to join the League
This is when things start to change
Dabi is still suspicious of Hawks but is also horny and attracted to Hawks so he starts flirting with him, but only when it's just the two of them. When they're around the League he teeters between dismissive and insulting. He's either ignoring him or arguing with him.
Hawks is naturally confused but decides two can play at that game and starts returning the same energy
Naturally this results in them sleeping together
What does that mean it's friends, or in this case enemies, with benefits time, with a dash of secret relationship because Dabi does not want the League to know he's fucking Hawks.
Hawks is fine with keeping things a secret too because he doesn't want it to get back to the Hero Safety commission, because this is so not the mission. He was told to infiltrate the League. At no point was he told to sleep with one of the members. In fact, it was strongly discouraged
Meanwhile around the others, they still act like they hate each other. It's only partially an act. They still don't really like or trust each other but the sex is amazing and they just keep accidentally turning each other on, or maybe not so accidentally, and then dragging each other around to fuck.
This is a League of Villains are like family thing as well so at the same time, Hawks is slowly bonding with the League and starts having doubts about his mission.
Also some of the League kinda know or have a feeling something is going on between Dabi and Hawks but choose not to comment because they feel it's safer to just not know.
Anyway this continues for a while and slowly, it goes from enemies with benefits to friends with benefits. They start talking and very slowly, very cautiously start opening up and showing their softer sides.
This is a slowburn because trust is a very big problem.
And then Hawks starts developing feelings for Dabi
Dabi may or may not return these feelings yet, but if he does feel the same, he doesn't tell him.
And they're still pretending to hate each otehr around the League so Hawks feels even more confused and it slowly starts driving him insane.
Every day he cares a little less about his mission and his hero career, starts cring about the League members because he sees them just being normal (or as normal as they can be) people, falls in love with Dabi, starts blowing off hero stuff to hang out with the League, using the mission as an excuse.
Hawks finds out who Dabi is and what happened to him and how Endeavour treated him.
And he loses faith because, if that's their number one, and he's a child abuser and it was covered up
So Hawks returns honesty with honesty and admits his mission and how he doesn't want to go through with it anymore.
They both tell the League everything as well and, while there may be some distrust and negative reactions initially, they end up making up.
Dabi and Hawks get together.
The League exposes Endeavour and the Hero Public Safety Commission.
Todoroki Shouto surprises everyone when he backs up Dabi's story and shares his own experiences with Endeavour
turns out he knew Dabi was his brother all along
Maybe Shouto is the UA traitor in this one or maybe he just loves his brother, and hasn't forgiven his dad.
either way after this changes to the society are rapidly made, any corrupt heroes are rooted out.
The League of Villains do still recieve consequences for their crimes but they also get the help they need in terms of mental health.
And they kill All For One for using and manipulating Shigaraki
Okay I'm about done. If you liked this, my asks are open. Send a song and any character or ship from BNHA or one of the other fandomes in my pinned post and I'll do the same for them. I say ships meaning general relationships, not necessarily romantic ships

Peachtea/TripSun angst idea. Nobody knew Wukong would disappear for 500 years so they're mourning until Xiaotian starts training with him. Tang composes himself to wait a little longer but Wukong just ignores all the signs. Until he gets into an argument with Tang and Tang ends up snapping "Why did you disappear for 500 years?!"
Okay so here’s the thing, I can only get behind the whole ‘The other Pilgrims ALL thought Wukong was dead and are PISSED at him now’ stuff, only, and I mean ONLY if Wukong either thought they all didn’t want to hear from him again anyway, or if he thought they were dead too.
....I mean my only contributions to all those ‘Reunion with Baije and Wujing’ posts were both ‘Wukong thought they were dead too’ so CLEARLY thats my read on the whole thing. I sincerely can’t see him just... NOT telling people he cared that much about that he was gonna bounce for that long to be alone on FFM, so if he knew they were alive he would have told them.
And then you know someone spotted that little shrine with the origami figures in the Special and I was there like:
Tumblr media
So like, lets do something we’ll both enjoy here then because all of those reunion fics are almost exclusively centered around the trio, and we oh so rarely see Sanzang (whether he is Tang or not) get involved.
So like first off, assuming LMK is on a sci fi alternate earth instead of being in the future, there’s still a solid nine hundred or so years between the end of the Pilgrimage and the supposed time Wukong disappeared for Monkie Kid timeline (JTTW is set in like the 600s or so if i remember correctly, might be wrong about the exacts tho) so lets assume those nine hundred years were uneventful.
So yeah, idk the hows, the hows don’t matter. What DOES matter is Wukong somehow loses contact with the others and is somehow convinced they were all killed, had his last stand against DBK and then went off travelling for a century to come to terms with his brothers and his precious, darling, beloved Master all perishing due to his inability to protect them.
and meanwhile for the others he was just... GONE. Like he’d vanished off the face of the earth, And the last the three of them ever saw of him was the staff rooted into the mountain that now kept the Bull King below. Just in case maybe the tree of them would periodically head off to Flower Fruit Mountain and check in with the monkeys that could still talk, but after about a century it was clear. If he WAS still alive, he wasn’t coming back. And the idea that he’d purposefully leave all of them behind just for the hope that he WAS still alive would do his memory a disservice.
So when Wukong returns to FFM wouldn’t it be great if he like, JUST missed that last visit? Like DAYS after Sanzang, Baije and Wujing had been there for the final time to hold an impromptu funeral for their dead friend on his homeland and finally accept that he was gone, Wukong returns to the mountain and builds his little shrine for his dead friends... the Monkeys all look at eachother awkwardly and shrug, assuming this will be settled soon enough, surely it’ll be solved before too long.
And then another 400 years of kingly depression naps and the others falling in and out of contact with eachother as they adapt to the ever changing world around them later, Xiaotian snatches the staff from the bull family.
And... Look... It’s been a ROUGH 500 years on Sanzang now called simply Tang. He’d only recently tracked down Baije-now-called-Pigsy in the past... what Ten years? and was only tangentially aware of what Wujing-now-called-Sandy was up to. And... Look... LOOK. It’s ridiculous that he’s still hung up over losing Wukong as much as he is. He’s Well FUCKING aware it’s ridiculous. He should know better, he quite LITERALLY reached immortality through enlightenment. He KNOWS he should know better.
So why-... Why can’t he say his real name without his gut still twisting into knots? He still tells the stories because telling them behind a wall of detachment, pretending he wasn’t there on the action for most of them helps in some small way, but why does he have to always call him ‘the Monkey King’? What a question, he knows why. He gave his heart away when he was still mortal, and so mortal his heart will forever stay. Dead and returned to the stone with the impulsive monkey he’d given it to.
And then It’s not dead. Because he’s not dead. and honestly at first it’s just shock, it’s just reeling with the sheer tidal wave of feelings he had to spend hours meditating just to sort through. The three of them meet up after Xiaotian and Xiaojiao have turned in for the night to discuss what the FUCK just happened, and all three of them come away with different conclusions.
Baije is furious and will refuse to seek out Wukong unless its to tell him off for letting the three of them belive him dead, Wujing is sad and would like to see Wukong again to simply ask why he’d decided to cut the three of them out of his life like that, but doesn’t want to do it alone. And he’s...conflicted.
He wants this to be a joyous discovery. he wants to be so relieved and euphoric at his monkey still being there, having ALWAYS been there, that he wouldn’t be able to stop smiling for days on end. But he can’t. It’s all so... messy inside and he’s going to need to keep his distance if he wants to be able to approach Wukong with a level head. This was why attachments such as these were foolish he should have known better all those years ago but it was centuries too late now, and this confliction is what he has to suffer through as the result... wanting to laugh and cry and scream all at once because Wukong is ALIVE, he’d spent SO long in mourning for him, and HOW DARE HE ignore them all and let them assume the worst?!
So he hides behind that Scholar Tang persona while he sorts through his emotions. And it works for the most part.
And then New Years happens.
And... Look, Wukong’s been THROUGH it in the last 500 years. He’s done everything he could to just... GET OVER the loss of his love His Master and His brothers. he went through all the damn stages of grief,
Spent that first decade in denial poking around everywhere he could to see if any of them-ANY of them were in hiding somewhere, spent another three decades wandering the world and starting fights with other cultures divine warriors (and that Aphrodite chick was DEFINITELY hitting on him the entire time, extolling about how rarely she got to use her ‘Aria form’ whatever that meant) to work through his rage without actually getting himself in trouble with his own heavenly court. Spent another twenty years or so looking through as many underworlds as he could find, no matter how many of them really wanted to test just HOW immortal he was (Answer: Too Immortal for any of them) to see if ANYONE had anything he could work with, and always coming up empty. eventually crossed the ocean to the other landmass because he was tired of looking at all of these places and seeing either memories or wasted time looking for bargaining chips, and spent a decade or so deciding he hated Mexico and went back to China. and then spent another thirty years just procrastinating returning home to his mountain.
When he returns to flower fruit mountain its as though he’d never left. His monkeys greet him with excitement but he’s standing on the shores of his home he hasn’t seen in a century and... feels nothing. Like his ability to feel anything for anything beyond the people he’s lost is gone. He makes a little shrine that spends most of its time on a shelf that's difficult to be able to look at full on without craning your neck weirdly and if any of his subjects notice that he takes a bit too much care in folding the little paper figure of the monk as he sets the four figures up along the edge of the little thing none of them judge him over it. He’s rarely got the energy for tears anymore, but when he does it’s usually when that little figure catches his eye.
By the time Xiaotian crashes into his life he’s... getting better. At least he thinks he is. having the loud excitable boy in his life is helping chase the shadows away a little bit (though when they return oh how they scream) and he hears some stories of his friends on training days and... geez sometimes he’ll tell this or that story and Wukong will be so THOUROUGHLY reminded of someone that it just... hurts.
And then New Years happens.
And he finally sees him again -- And he finally meets Xiaotian’s friends
And he still doesn’t know how to feel it’s all SO MUCH -- And they feel familiar so he gives them all a quick glance with golden eyes
And he can only do the one thing that feels safe right now -- And oh... that makes sense. How lucky they all found eachother again after reincarnating.
Sanzang hides behind the Tang persona and lies with an energy that could only be harvested from the sheer maelstrom of emotions fighting for dominance -- and Wukong leaves before he says something incriminating because now he knows and he can’t Un-know.
He should have known better but its centuries too late. And it doesn’t even matter that he doesn’t know how to feel about this whole thing he HAS to keep seeing him, he can NOT let him vanish again -- This was a mistake, this was a mistake, he cannot face them all and see lack of recognition, he cannot have his brothers treating him only as Xiaotian’s mentor he can NOT handle looking at him and seeing a stranger.
He needs to at least TALK to him -- He can’t stay away
Wukong doesn’t start out hanging out at the Noodle Shop on down time, that’d be too much too quick, especially since Baije-.. Since Pigsy is clearly still pretty steamed for the whole ‘letting Xiaotian into the world of magic and monsters’ stuff. But he’ll often shapeshift and keep an eye on things like that... No he is NOT eavesdropping on the reincarnations of those three out of the ridiculous desperate desire to feel close to them again. Because he’d rather just love him miss them from afar than be treated as a stranger.
But of course Tang notices when he does. Every time. And every time he wants to say something but his throat feels too tight. That first day he’d fallen on the persona because it was all he felt he COULD do but now the very idea that he’d have to pretend to be someone else just to be able to speak to his monkey not his not anymore Him was completely out of the question. Tang’s actually surprised with himself the first time he finds his voice.
The conversations come quickly, neither of them quite content to ignore the other now that its become obvious. The conversations are mostly stilted, awkward. Wukong seems both unable to help himself from talking to him, but unwilling to LOOK at him. Tang’s best guess is that he somehow doesn’t recognize him, Had he really changed that much in the time they’d been apart? Had he really lost so much affection for his old master that he could no longer recognize him beneath a slight change in appearance? That might be the reason the Hurt finally starts to win in the eternal standoff between Joy and Sorrow in how this whole thing makes him feel.
And maybe it’s something simple, maybe Wukong is just barely starting to lower his guard a bit. Maybe just sharing a space with the man who once was the love of his life his master was finally starting to chalk over the rough edges his long since broken heart would constantly stab into him with. and he just SAYS something. Something probably innocuous, something he’d said a million times on the Journey alone. And to Tang it just... feels like he’s mocking him, like he’d known this whole time and had just been playing with his emotions in a way he wouldn’t have tolerated back then- so why should he tolerate it now?
And the first words out of his own mouth are “Bad Monkey!” and Wukong freezes as Tang begins to lecture him
How he’d spent a solid third of his time immortal in mourning over him, how he’d been the one to tell Baije and Wujing that it would be a disgrace to his memory to believe him alive and instead that he’d chosen to cut the lot of them out of his life, despite how much HE’D wanted to believe it too. How hurt he was to find out that not only he HAD been ignoring them for so long but also that he’d apparently had apparently not even recognized any of them when they HAD all seen each other again! How much he’d missed him, how happy he’d still been to see him again.
Yes, yes, pathetic, emotional baldy always bursting into tears at the simplest of things nothing’s changed etcetera etcetera- He hadn’t been lying on new years when he said he had a million questions, but all he really wanted to know was why? Why did he cut them out of his life, why did he shut HIM out? Why did you disappear for 500 years Wukong?
And Wukong reaches out, his hand is- shaking? and removes the glasses from right off his face--normal glass obviously, Baije had insisted they completed the scholarly look and annoyed him into compliance--
“You’re-” he hesitates, looks, almost afraid? “You’re not a reincarnation..?”
Oh...
Well now they both looked the part of fools.
Two sobbing fools clutching to eachother in the alleyway behind Pigsy’s shop, and oh MAN did they have some things to talk about, because Wukong was DEFINITELY coming back with him to his apartment for the night and then first thing in the morning he was going to visit his brothers to internalize that THEY weren’t reincarnations either and then he was going to have to explain where he’d been for that first century while they were all still looking for him to THEM too.
And yes he should have known better than to get attached to him in this way in the first place, it was disgraceful, the sheer misery it had brought alone was proof enough of that. But Wukong was nuzzling into his shoulder, and pressing those strange feeling monkey kisses across his cheeks and jaw,  and his breath was hitching with pure relief and joy and it was for him-
And fuck it, he just didn’t care.

Nijimura Keicho: You were always holding me back.
TW // abuse, kinda angsty
This was not a request, and there's no reader insert. I felt the need to write it. It's based on Stromae's song Papaoutai. Hope you like it.
Where Nijimura Keicho tells mom about his life.
WORD COUNT: 1.8k
Tumblr media
Tell me where he comes from, at least I'll know where to go, mommy says that when you look hard, you always find something.
1983, October. He's so tired, mom, he's so tired. I'm so tired, mom, I'm so tired. Nijimura Keicho's head feels the heaviest. I'm so tired, he thinks, tired of not ever seeing dad. His old man smiles, his old man laughs, but when it comes to taking care of him, he steps away, faster than a scared fox. He says he loves his wife and his son. I'm so tired, yeah he's so tired. Tired of seeing his mom pretending everything is totally fine. But she has to. She has to relax. Mom is beautiful, mom is the most amazing woman. Keicho loves mom. He spends a lot of time with her, she likes singing while she cooks. Her voice is amazing. Keicho loves laying on the couch with her. Keicho loves listening to what is going on inside her growing belly. Mom is pregnant. It's a question of few days, for her to give birth to his little brother.
She says he's never very far away, he leaves very often for work. Mommy says "working is good", better than being in bad company... right?
1984, February. He's so angry, mom, he's so angry. I'm so angry, mom, I'm so angry. His father smiles, his father laughs. How can he be in peace with himself? When months ago, she gave birth to their new little treasure, Okuyasu, he was away for work. Two-year-old Keicho never forgot it. Keicho was so angry. Angry at his old man, when he kissed his mom. Angry at his old man, when he caressed his little brother. Talking about him, Keicho loved him. He was so small, so defenseless against his father's hypocritical hands. Okuyasu loved his aniki back. The little one would grip Keicho's hand, and never let go. He would have never remembered that, growing up. But Keicho always had that memory in his mind. Forever and ever, until he died.
Where’s your dad? Tell me where’s your dad? Without even having to talk to him, he knows something's wrong.
1987, July. He's so desperate, mom, he's so desperate. I'm so desperate, mom, I'm so desperate. Why did you have to die? His old man smiles, his old man laughs. His old man fell into depression. Keicho, now a six-year-old, knows. This is so stressful. He can't even mourn his late mother. Because he has to stay strong. Mom is gone. Dad is depressed and will scream the whole day, scaring the little one. This results in Keicho being Okuyasu's only hope to smile. Keicho is so desperate, so desperate in seeing his mother's stuff still in their house, so desperate when his little sibling asks, in tears, where mommy is. How do you tell a three-year-old that his mom is now an angel? How do you wipe his tears and lie, telling him everything's gonna be okay?
Oh damn dad, tell me where you’re hiding. I must’ve counted my fingers, at least a trillion times.
1989, April. He's so pained, mom, He's so pained. I'm so pained, mom, I'm so pained. We miss you, mom. They miss you, mom. It's the fourth time this year. Dad receives gold and jewels from someone. He's mad. He's mad. Keicho doesn't know what's going on. Keicho knows his dad's economical struggles are gone. But he's not any better. Money won't solve the heavy depression mom's death created. Keicho feels that on his body so many times. Keicho always makes sure he's his father's target. Keicho sometimes fails. That's when he notices that failing is awful. Failing is for weak people. And he doesn't want to be weak. Because every time he fails in being his father's target, the old, damned man abuses Okuyasu's little fragile body. How can you abuse your five-year-old son and sleep at night? Who gives you that gold and jewels? Just take me, Keicho thinks. Don't touch my brother.
Even if we believe it or not, there’ll be a day we won’t believe it anymore. One day we’ll all be dads, and from one day to the other we’ll disappear.
1989, November. He's so scared, mom, he's so scared. I'm so scared, mom, I'm so scared. Help them. Help us. This is not their father. Keicho has just come back from school, his brother hand in hand with him. The old man is screaming. Screaming on the ground, about somebody who's died. He looks like a monster, when his face shows, almost green and ruined. Keicho doesn't flinch. Keicho has to be strong. He has to be strong for the small and innocent hands that are now gripping the back of his shirt, crying. He always holds him back. Okuyasu has always held him back. Keicho offers to call an ambulance. But this is no illness. "The flesh bud has gone berserk", he just screams. What's a flesh bud? He's so scared, he's so scared, when his old man runs off, leaving the two of them speechless, the only sounds to be heard are the noisy clock and Okuyasu's terrified sniffles.
Will we be hated? Will we be admired? Just passing on genes or geniuses? Tell us who gives birth to these irresponsible people?
1990, August. He's so hopeless, mom, he's so hopeless. I'm so hopeless, mom, I'm so hopeless. The old man is a glob of flesh, now. A glob of flesh that can't even tell they're his sons anymore. But their scars, can still tell a terrifying story of abuse and fear. Okuyasu is old enough. He doesn't need Keicho anymore. But now, he had relied on his aniki too much. Okuyasu is weak. And Keicho hates weakness. But Keicho knows it's his fault, too. He's only nine years old. And now he's the one who has to raise his little brother. And he's gonna raise him as a winner. Losers ruin everything. His father was a loser, and all he obtained from this was selling his soul and becoming a glob of shit. Nijimura Keicho now hates losers. Nijimura Keicho's heart starts hardening. Nijimura Okuyasu is the one who gets the consequences of this. Nijimura Okuyasu, becomes a loser to his aniki's eyes.
Tell us who, look. Everyone knows how to make babies, but no one knows how to make dads. Mr. Know-It-All must’ve inherited it.
1993, December. He's so annoyed, mom, he's so annoyed. I'm so annoyed, mom, I'm so annoyed. Keicho just can't keep up with school. He wants to do lots. He wants to be like other kids. He'd love to have friends to bring home. He can't. Keicho is annoyed, because he's the one who skips lessons, to take care of their useless father. Okuyasu came home, saying he's now friends with a boy. This is not fucking fair. Keicho loves his brother. But his brother is a loser, already. If losers get friends who tell them they're enough, they'll never shine bright like they should. Why Okuyasu can go out, make friends and take it easy? Why? Keicho punches his little brother, that day. He does it. Then he announces they both will abandon school. All the hate and the frustration Keicho has kept in his heart, all these years being held back because of his brother's sniffles and tears, detonates like a bomb on Okuyasu, whose innocency completely crumbles down. Then, he kicks his father's gross body. "WILL YOU STOP TOUCHING THAT FUCKING BOX?"
Maybe you need to wing it or something? Tell us where they’re hiding. We must’ve bitten our fingers, at least a billion times.
1999, September. He's so disgusted, mom, he's so disgusted. I'm so disgusted, mom, I'm so disgusted. Morioh Cho is a complete change of atmosphere. Every morning Keicho wakes up, and braids his long, blond lock of hair. Every morning Okuyasu wakes up, and fixes his hair in a small pompadour. They're men now. Keicho is so disgusted. So disgusted by the bow and arrow he holds, so disgusted by his brother, now betraying him. So disgusted by his father, who managed to have his family photo fixed by Higashikata Josuke. So disgusted by his life. Okuyasu's eyes had never been so deep and sad, when he asks his aniki to let go of the bow and arrow. Okuyasu's body had never been so warm and dear, when Keicho desperately pushes him aside, saving him from a certain death against Red Hot Chili Pepper. Keicho is disgusted by his brother. Keicho is disgusted by how much he cares about Okuyasu. Keicho is disgusted by everything hurting his brother. Before he dies, Keicho realizes all he wanted was giving a future to Okuyasu. And all he did was denying it to him. Nijimura Keicho has always been held back from his brother. "You were always... holding me back..." He tells Okuyasu, before dying. Yes. Always holding him back from being disgusted by himself. It was a thank you.
"Keicho? Keicho?" it feels like an angel is talking. "Come here, Keicho..." He's wandering in a blinding light. That voice. He may never mistake it with someone else's. That voice.
1999, September. He's dead, mom, he's dead. I'm dead, mom, I'm dead. He's now in peace. His mother's voice told him he's done great. He tries not to feel sure about this. But he can't. Nijimura Keicho really has done great. He's dead now, and wanders in a bright, blinding light, until something, until someone, hugs him from behind. He missed you, mom. I missed you, mom. She moves, like a feather. She's always been gentle. She's always been amazing. Mom says he's beautiful. Mom says he's been a great brother. And after all, mom says Okuyasu is safe. Okuyasu will become a great man. And that he'll always treasure Keicho's teachings. A couple of bitter tears fall down the man's cheeks, and he'd be normally disgusted. But now he's dead. And he's done great. Mom said that. So he smiles, while her gentle hands wipe his tears off. He follows her in the core of that blinding light. He follows her. Forever.
"In the very end... my brother defended me, didn't he?" Keicho heard that, hand in hand with his mother, walking in that neverending light. Keicho heard his brother's words. "Josuke... you saw it, right?" He sounded desperate. Yes. Keicho defended him. Because Keicho knew Okuyasu would have made him proud.
