National Cheese Fondue Day! * Modern fondue originated in Switzerland and more specifically in the Canton of Neuchatel. The dish consists of at least two varieties of cheeses that are melted with wine and a bit of flour and served communally out of pot called a “caquelon.” * Written records of fondue date back to the late 17th century, when a bare bones version of the dish calling for cheese, wine and bread for dipping appeared in a Swiss cookbook. Fondue showed up in print in various other incarnations through the 18th and 19th centuries, the recipes calling for eggs and often construed as something closer to a custard or cheese soufflé than the hot dip that we know it as today. * A recipe for a sauce made from Pramnos wine, grated goat’s cheese and white flour appears in Scroll 11 (lines 629-645) of Homer’s Iliad and has been cited as the earliest record of a fondue. * Fondue became popular in the U.S. during the mid-1960s after American tourists discovered it in Switzerland. * By way of returning soldiers and travelers, Swiss cheese fondue began showing up on menus at many of New York’s finest restaurants. * Over 100 varieties of cheese fondue exist, each with a unique name and different blend of cheeses, wine and seasoning. * Tradition states that if bread falls off a woman’s fork and into the pot she must kiss her neighbor. If a man drops anything into the pot he has to buy a round of drinks for the table. #NationalCheeseFondueDay #CheeseFondue 🧀 🫕 #Food #FoodSolutions #FoodService #FoodServiceSolutions #FoodSales #WeKnowFood #DisposableSolutions #NonFoodSolutions #FoodConsultant #FoodDude #FoodOfTheDay #NobertSales @NobertSales (at Germantown, Tennessee) https://www.instagram.com/p/CNh4Zh1lxrn/?igshid=1eppdbv80hmt1

18 April 2001 - vacation preview IT-CH-DE-FR-IT
Grüezi Mitenand!  Bonjour!  Buongiorno!  Hi everyone!
Today I want to just give a preview of my vacation in April 2001 which happened twenty years ago this week.
It has been twenty years since I had made a visit to Zurich for its Sechseläuten festival.  I would follow essentially the same route that I took for part of the vacation that I took in September 2000, counterclockwise from and to Milan Malpensa airport (MXP), but I would not go east of the Lambrate rail station, nor would I go anywhere in Austria, the German Bundesland of Bavaria, and very little east of Zürich than the Wollishofen district.  In that case the route would be shorter, lengthwise.  One goal I had this journey, was to visit as many cantons of Switzerland that I had not been to yet.  These would include Luzern Aargau Schaffhausen Basel-Landschaft* Solothurn* Bern* Obwalden Nidwalden Neuchatel* Valais
* have only taken the train through, have not really visited
My route plan would be San Francisco International Washington DC Dulles with MetroRail ride to L'Enfant Plaza, Pentagon and Rosslyn Milano Malpensa the historical Flycar (since replaced by a regional rail service) to Lugano via Varese and Mendrisio day journey to Bellinzona and Locarno with surprise journey to Camedo by regional railway visit to the Foxtown shopping center dinner (pizza, and just pizza) at Manora in central Lugano bus to Lugano FFS station and train to Zürich via Arth-Goldau train ride to Schaffhausen and back by Lotstetten train ride to Aarau in the canton of Aargau watching the Sechseläuten parade and burning of the Böögg, and ride up the Rigiblick-Seilbahn, down with the tram to Central and dinner at Brasserie Johanniter. train ride to Luzern, leave bags at station side trips to Stans (Nidwalden) and Sarnen (Obwalden) with a grocery store run for lunch train ride to Bern side trip to Worb BE by local train and return train ride to Basel tram rides around Basel, walk into Weil am Rhein and (D) tram St. Louis border (F) train ride to Biel/Bienne, return to Bern through Lyss by regional train train ride to Fribourg to leave luggage train ride to Delémont (JU) via Biel/Bienne walk through Delémont and ride to Neuchatel wrong way train to Biel/Bienne, train to Bern and farther on to Neuchatel to fetch my bags and farther train to Lausanne (VD) ride on the historic cograil Flon-Ouchy and supper at the Manora in downtown Lausanne train ride to Geneva and tram to Gaillard (Moillesullaz) tram ride to Palettes train ride to Vevey (Charlie Chaplin statue) train ride along the LEB to Romanel sur Lausanne train ride to Milano Centrale via Brig (Valais), lunch on the train, original hotel overbooked metro ride to Cascina Gobba and ride on the Ospedale San Raffaele cable car metro ride to Duomo and ride up by elevator with a view of Torre Velasca (Missori on the M3) ride along the counterclockwise trolleybus route to Lotto, quick visit to the Piero Rotta hostel near QT8 and back ride to San Donato by M3 and back ride to Famagosta by M2 rest of the day is a blur.... train ride from Loreto to Repubblica, Bovisa and Malpensa MXP Terminal 1 Flight from Malpensa MXP to Washington Dulles, uneventful customs checks, flight to SFO that night. and back to work on 1st May 2001 until the next adventure...
The journey may well be thought of as an "encore" to the September 2000 visit to Milan.  Some places I did not get to visit in September 2000, I was able to visit in April 2001.  Then in December 2001 I covered the cantons that I had not at least gone through by train, but that is for another time.
I have unfortunately only a fraction of the audiovisual media available to refer to, as others are in storage and could therefore not be obtained in time to properly add context.  So I will do my best to remember what I did between the 19th and 30th April 2001.  It is not as long as September 2000 but should be just as enjoyable of a vacation.  Hope you will enjoy all the same.
Auf wiederluege!  Au revoir!  Arrivederci!  Goodbye!

Built in 1892, the #post & #telecom building on rue du Mont-Blanc is emblematic of the development of communication in a rapidly changing world, and in particular in #geneva . Two architects have greatly contributed to the development of the Geneva urban landscape, namely John Camoletti and his brother Mark. The first official postal #links emerged during the 17th century. They connected the main cities of #switzerland (Geneva, #vevey , #aarberg , #neuchatel , #basel , #zurich and #bern ). Mail was routed through Switzerland along major international routes linking southern #germany to southern #france . In 1675, the Bernese Beat Fischer was granted an exclusive right to send official mail on the territory of his canton. He found a way to extend such authorization over the years to other cantons, then to extend his network beyond the Swiss borders. Progressive centralization inevitably sets in the invasion of Switzerland by Napoleonic troops in 1798 coincided with an aborted attempt to regroup the postal distribution #network . The creation of the Federal Post Office in 1849 had the effect of unifying the postal services which had hitherto been ordered at the private or cantonal level. The multitude of entities has thus been unified within an organization endowed with broad powers in terms of passenger transport, mail delivery, parcels and currency. Bovet – a dynasty Edouard Bovet, the son of Jean-Frédéric Bovet (who was registered as a clockmaker in the village of Fleurier), was inspired by young to become a watchmaker. This craft offered a stable carrier and a good living. The young watchmaker Edouard Bovet left his home village with his brothers Alphonse and Frédéric in 1814, heading for London, which was at the time a major trading center for European watchmaking and had a stable political environment. The decision can be put on the economical and political climate in Switzerland – being so closed on the continent, the family was affected by the geopolitical situation of Neuchatel (being under the control of Prussia). France was just recovering after the revolution and did not offer too many options etc. In 1818, aged 21, Edouard Bovet left for China as the representative of an English trader, the Magniac & Co. He left London on April 20th on board the Orwell, a ship belonging to the East India Company, arriving on August 16th in Canton, the obligatory point of entry for merchandise arriving from Europe. After a long and difficult trip, he quickly sold four pocket watches for the sum of 10,000 Swiss francs, the equivalent of one million francs today. Realizing the exceptional potential of the Chinese market, Edouard founded the Maison Bovet on May 1st 1822, with his brothers Frédéric, Alphonse, Gustave and later Charles. Their business extended from Fleurier, where the pocket watches were made, to London, the hub of commercial exchange, and Canton, where Bovet timepieces were sold. He used his experience from travelling and living in China to develop the style that will become strongly loved in the far east country. In 1824 Charles-Henri Bovet, Edouard’s younger brother joined the company and travelled to China as well. He remained there until 1838 and played an important part in establishing the Bovet name in China. In 1836, Louis Bovet, the son of Gustave travels to China and becomes a partner in the family business just two years later. In 1840, the company was renamed Bovet Freres et Cie. https://www.instagram.com/p/Cj5LYQZLsac/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

unresponsiveness of the state
As originally posted on childrenforstatus.eu
Except one polite auto-reply acknowledging reception of the below email to state authorities, saying a response would substantiate, no response to the below after 3 days. It shows once again how serious Switzerland is when it comes to protecting children from sexual and psychological violence: 0 priority.
We'll get into how this is a violation of executionary conventions Switzerland is subject to in the next weeks.
It was sent to the "conseil de la magistrature", the judiciary surveillance authority, (CM) of the canton of Neuchatel. The CM is supposedly the controlling judicial body, overseeing and guaranteeing the correct functioning of the justice system in the Neuchatel canton. Sadly, this judicial organ is set up and governed by the same people who are judges.
The judge checks he did not make a mistake, especially when he made a mistake kind of thing.
A graphical overview of this mafia-like judicial nonsense will be posted in the next few days. It will show clearly the conflict of interest, and complete lack of proper control and accountability, throughout the Neuchatel justice system.
I'll add to that graphical overview a recording from a Neuchatel judge. In this recording the judge tells me explicitly it makes no sense to write to the CM since no judge has ever been slapped on the wrists, that they all know each other well, and are fully protected, especially when judges do wrong. He sarcastically adds that it is my right to write to the CM, but that doing so is a waste of time and energy, that it will get no investigation whatsoever.
That is the answer I got when I informally asked a Neuchatel judge what to do about things like conflict of interest, denial of justice, sexual violence on children, etc.
My feeling is this relatively young looking judge was just fed up with the rottenness of the system he is working in. It felt more like a desperate cry-out for help from his part to get the system fixed.
Allow me alliterate to try put things into perspective.
I am against zoo's and museums in general. I am of the opinion one does not keep specimens in confined, unnatural and controlled environments disconnected from the real deal. I find it wrong to do it for the pleasure of mankind to stroll by in amusement. My opinion is you don't visit the Colosseum in London or lions in La Chaux-De-Fonds. Each place his.
There are exceptions to this. Sometimes it is a necessary evil, to remember vividly the wrong mankind is capable of, in an attempt for it to "never happen again". Things like the concentration camps fall in my opinion under this exception. Never again should mankind be tempted by this kind of structural state wide willing suspension of disbelief.
Same thing in Switzerland. It is not because Switzerland claims and enjoys the status of superiority in the world, that it is. If anything it makes the crimes by the Swiss justice system actually worse.
Hopefully it will get to that point with the Neuchatel justice in the future: "See, it used to be crooked to the bone, but all checks are in place now for it to never be like that again".
Other then the CM, it was sent to various other organs as listed and linked. Naturally, they too did not respond.
Here comes my first pickle. I do not intend any harm to individual people eventhough some intend harm to my children and/or myself. I think sometimes names need to be mentioned or the exercise makes no sense. In as much as their names can be found on the official web sites and I provide the links, you can look them up yourselves. You'll see I censor out my kid's name. Another pickle. Do I want their names out in the open at their very young age? They are the prime victims. It doesn't feel right, at least for now. So for the moment, until I find the answers on how to tackle these kinds of issues, I self-censor a few names. When I do, it'll be clear to all, and it may change in the future.
Without further ado, here is the non timely answered email:
WITHOUT PREJUDICE Madam president of the Neuchatel judiciary surveillance authority, The state and the legal profession in the Republic and Canton of Neuchatel are fully aware, all details provided in the various cases, that I have no financial means to pursue matters. Despite this unalienable fact, both the legal profession and the courts deny one of the most basic human rights: https://www.ohchr.org/en/instruments-mechanisms/instruments/basic-principles-role-lawyers I herewith once more demand for this basic human right to be respected. I am to be attributed both civil and criminal lawyers, funded without limitation or interference by the state, as to conduct all and extensive activities for the truth to finally come into the light. I have been without civil lawyer since mid December 2022. Any correspondence from the Swiss courts has therefore not properly been received, and any judgements not properly notified. Given the severity of the violations of law by the state, a lawyer willing and capable of countering the arbitrary civil aggressions and violations of international law should be appointed. Previous civil lawyers expressed limitations in their actions due to the retaliation risk for their careers. An appointed lawyer should have the necessary international expertise and not be subject to cantonal loyalty or potential professional retaliation. I am now also without criminal lawyer due to a refusal of the state to respect the UN UDHR. For the criminal matters, I specifically request for Me. LAWYER to be appointed by the state. Before returning his mandate Me. LAWYER mentioned he would take the mandate back as soon as duly and fully provisioned by the state, without limitation of work (to be) performed. Ever since being blackmailed for a second time by a judge in Neuchatel I recorded as much as I could. The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) has judged repeatedly that when in front of authorities violating fundamental rights one not only is allowed to record, but actually has the obligation to record the state's wrongdoing. Switzerland is known to not respect this rule of international law, and persecute those who diligently document wrongdoing by Swiss authorities.
It is in the public interest for the public to be made aware of the violations of rights by the state authorities and its actors. I am now publishing the violations against myself and my children, CHILD and CHILD. I am also publishing the evidence I acquired about other families from other countries. Kidnapping by the state, endangerment of sexual and psychological integrity of children by the state, modern enslaving by the state of those who dare to speak out, discrimination, ... It is also of particular interest to the public how Neuchatel, and by extension Switzerland, is a safe haven for those who kidnap children, and those who commit sexual and psychological violence on children. In their by Swiss authorities arbitrary and contrary to reality created environment my children still undergo violence. Things like CHILD explaining how his penis is played with by the grandparents, how tongue kissing with adults is normal, how CHILD is not allowed to speak and is afraid her mom will be angry if she does, how CHILD is punished away from social interactions, how strange angel and black magic locations in the woods are visited, how the authorities are in denial out of collegial credibility when confronted with what the children say, etc. Hundreds of hours of recordings. Wir haben es nicht gewusst? Everything is recorded from start to finish. The recordings show how the reports by appointed authorities, and even judgements in Switzerland, are false. In any event, for the avoidance of any doubt whatsoever, all audio and or video recording mentioned have been made in the interest of justice and the public at large. The public's interest is to know this happens in their canton, in their country, how and why it happens, and who holds responsibility. The state actors should individually be held accountable for the violation of victim's rights, and their taking an active role in the persecution of a victim parent who dares to point to the state's responsibility. Under the provisions of the Council of Europe as well as the provisions of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, as whistleblower and victim I, and my victim children, should be protected. Not persecuted or discriminated against, not put in danger, as we have been for more then 3 years now. I look forward to receiving your confirmation of the non Neuchatel lawyers appointed and fully funded by the state. I particularly look forward to the protective measures for my person as whistleblower and victim, and my children as ongoing victims of psychological and sexual violence while detained in Switzerland.
