got a Macbook for work and i feel like i’m standing in the middle of a river with cement tied to my feet as my stubborn lifelong Windows using self struggles to navigate everything. but the most important matters are taken care of:

it bugs me that this is not a very creative redraw but also i'm inexperienced with colors + was feeling kinda lazy. it still came out nice i think, and i got to spend a healthier amount of time on it :D

Mia and Ethan were together longer than her working for the Connection's (if the guidebook is to be believed) and I really think that the Connection's made it explicitly clear to Mia that if Ethan realised anything more than her job being a little bit off then Ethan is dead never mind her actually telling him anything.

And i will bet that a lot of post Baker Incident relationship Mia is still operating under that espcially after them being moved for unknown reasons (beach picture i doubt it was a holiday) to europe for the events of Village. Despite the evidence to the contrary of course like Ethan turning up at the Bakers, most of Village (both Mia and Chris are guilty of that)

"I can't log into Netflix" sounds like such a "first world problem" to get upset about but it's actually about the insanity of streaming service capitalism ripping me of the choice on how to spend the little free time I have in my line of study/work

i use a laptop (i used to use a secondhand thinkpad, nowadays ive been using a different type) and a good ol' wacom intuos!! nothing fancy :]

I got my 2010 laptop working again. It seems like it was actually my antivirus program that had seriously nerved it in 2021. Took a while to figure that out and to convince Windows that it in fact can reset itself to May 1st, 2021.

Now I'm just weary to connect it to the internet again for the fear of an update breaking it again. Maybe I will do this tomorrow as it's already 1am here. But yeah there is progress. Haven't heard from my cousin yet whether he could save anything from my current laptop or whether it will seriously be a clean reinstall.

What happened to your laptop ?

i left it somewhere after my internship on friday and i don't know where!! i genuinely did not realise until i was about to walk out the door like an hour and a half ago. has not crossed my mind at all whatsoever. but now that i think about it i'm like... i don't think i had it with me off the bus... but did i even bring it ON the bus? is it at the shopping centre where i stopped to eat? i have no idea. i've contacted all the lost and founds imaginable though and they're all like nah nothing here, so..

but also it hasn't pinged since i turned it on at 10am on friday, i turned it off before leaving around 1 and it doesn't look like it's been turned on since. i guess i just have to wait and see if anyone contacts me but otherwise im fucked lol

Joy~. My laptop has continued to try separating its screen from the rest of it/the hinge between the screen and keyboard is deteriorating. I don't belive I can close it anymore without risking it breaking completely the next time I try to open it so I gotta replace it.
