The Seed of Today
A Morning Walk This morning, I rose with strange energy—despite just 4 hours and 28 minutes of uninterrupted sleep. No grogginess. No resistance. Just alertness. Purpose. As I geared up to walk our dog, Rocky, my wife Laura blinked in surprise. “Are you going for a walk?”“Are you okay? Why?” “The Lord told me to,” I replied, equally surprised at my own response. We exchanged a few words…

The Fall Didn’t Start at the Bite
Genesis 3:1–6, James 1:14–15, Proverbs 4:23 We always picture the Fall beginning when Eve sank her teeth into that fruit. But let’s be real. That wasn’t the beginning. That was just the moment the sin broke the surface. “Now the serpent was more crafty than any other beast of the field that the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, ‘Did God actually say…?’” — Genesis 3:1 The fall of man…

Ujunwa
Ujunwa Child of abundance. A child born “in the midst of plenty.” Funny and sad how I didn’t like my name growing up. Ujunwa. Uju. Kids made fun of me by adding a “J” in front of my shortened name, so as soon as I could, I adopted my middle name Cynthia. “Uju” means abundance… fullness. And yet, for so long, I lived as though I was lacking.
Always seeking.
Trying to fill the void with…

Take a look at how we can communicate better by using faith as the foundation. When we have a better understanding of what our faith asks of us, we are able to strengthen the bonds of our various relationships through faith-driven communication.

How to Build a Christ-Centered Church With (or Without) a Building
Looking to build a Christ-centered church that goes beyond Sunday? Learn how to focus on authentic faith and reclaim the mission of the church. #ChristCentered #FaithInAction #ChurchCommunity #Ekklesia
What is a Christ-Centered Church? If you grew up going to church, you’ve heard the familiar rhyme: “Here’s the church, here’s the steeple, open the doors, and see all the people.” While it’s a nostalgic image, it misrepresents what a Christ-centered church truly is. The church isn’t the building or the steeple—it’s the people who gathered as followers of Christ. In Matthew’s Gospel account,…

Is It Enough? Striving for the Perfect Christmas by Shirley Crowder
Is It Enough? Striving for the Perfect Christmas by Shirley Crowder Several years ago, I observed a very sad scene in the grocery store. A lady had a meltdown as she screamed at the store manager, blaming him for ruining her Christmas because the store didn’t carry the brand of eggnog she NEEDED. As well, I noticed a few aisles over a teenaged girl with tears streaming down her face. I walked…

buck: trying his best to hold things together, checking in with everyone and being there even if he doesn't know how
eddie: invalidates bucks grief, goes on about how much worse it was for him than everyone else, blames buck (???) for apparently not doing everything he can to save bobby because he's feeling guilty for leaving
also eddie: why are you making everything about you

I don’t think that you’d find Christ in the home of a mega pastor or in the home of men like Donald Trump but instead you’d find Him in the queer community center. You’d find Him in the homes of people who are struggling to take care of themselves and their community. You’d find Him where there is genuine love and community instead of greed and hatred for the other.

the more i chew on my Warden Schism AU/world state, the more i think that of course the northern Wardens/maybe even northern Thedas at large would deny a Hero of Ferelden that survived
martyrdom is a huge part of both the Grey Wardens and Andrastianism, and the Anderfels is obsessed with both of those things. if the Hero of Ferelden didn't have to sacrifice themself to end the Blight, then to the rest of the Wardens, it's not a real Blight. they publicly denounce the Hero of Ferelden but secretly retrieve Urthemiel's body to store it in Weisshaupt
the Orlesian Wardens are more open to connecting because some of the older Wardens felt the Blight approaching, which is hard to deny until Corypheus's False Calling. that makes it even easier for the northern Wardens to discount/excommunicate the southern Wardens completely

Fascinating Post ~ Wisdom & Encouragement to a Young Lady
Fascinating Post ~ Wisdom & Encouragement to a Young Lady In the past week, I saw a post while looking on X (formerly Twitter) from Christian writer, Summer Jaeger. To be totally honest, I do not know her, nor do I know much about her. She is one of two creators of a theologically conservative web page on theology for Christian women. I only bring her up because I want to simply interact with her…
