The Hunger Games and I
So, I've been scrolling old Hunger Games posts in order to edit them with the tags #Lionsgate and #Color_Force (the companies that made the movies), and I came upon a few old posts regarding the Baltimore riots, Thai protests, and 2016 presidential election. That was during a time when I was left-leaning and was on a... revolutionary phase. Nowadays, I don't align with any political ideology in the slightest, and all of my political thoughts resort to fearing that either the government caves in on us all or we all go mad and start eating each other. So, I just ignore all of this and think about other things like cartoons, drawings, video games, and books like The Hunger Games trilogy.
And speaking of which, I came across the movies on TNT, and while I was given an eye-opener on how saturated the movie quartet was, I still felt a sense of nostalgia watching these movies. And I couldn't thank my old high school teacher for introducing me to both the books and The Hunger Games movie. I feel like reading the whole trilogy once again, this time with the prequel, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. Plus, I've been imagining a true adaptation of the books recently, an animated adaptation, perhaps.
