I was actual inspired to do this because of @mogswamp Christmas hide and seek build video. That candy cane lumber mill was so cool. Although for mine only the outside is good looking. The inside. Not so much lol.

Colors of Minecraft : Orange Pumpkin House

Literally have no idea how far I'm going to go with Minecraft, gaming, streaming etc. I'm primarily a writer, I think of myself as a storyteller first and foremost.

But am I ever enjoying Minecraft as a creative tool. I got my artistic start doing sprite art & sprite comics based on 16-bit systems, so the limited block palettes feel like a welcome home.

I'm building something for my friend.

I must be careful to not let anybody think it's going to be a structure that generates in this mod. Because I'm going to be putting Alarm Mobs on it, but those will be programmed to spawn in a very different structure, one that will be patently easier for me to code. With the picture above, I don't know how to code this.

There might be a post of this in multiplayer in a few weeks, but again, I have to make sure I don't mislead people into being disappointed when they find out that above-ground plains clay forts will not generate in Noticeably Beta 1.8.
