So I don’t even know if this is canon, if not this is a headcanon. But I like to think that there can always be only one ymbryne of each bird, like only one Miss Avocet, only one Miss Peregrine and so on. And that when they die and people hold an ymbryne funeral for them, their soul gets passed on to the next one.

Meaning there would be a little Miss Avocet again (and a new Miss Babax and Miss Greenshank obvi). Just imagine the excitement amongst the council once they find the child that will one day be Miss Avocet. Don’t think they’d put like. A lot of pressure and expectations onto them, that’s not like the ymbrynes, but they’ll certainly be really happy and maybe sad cause they get reminded of Esmeralda

Anyway another headcanon, it’s definitely Caul’s goal to dispose of the ymbrynes completely, so that nothing of them remains for an ymbryne funeral (guess he’ll have ymbrynes for dinner 🍽️), that way their soul cannot get passed on (putting this in the damned au ✏️)

Actually maybe I don't get a lot of them because it seems like I've been in almost a constant one from Joshua now that we've settled a bit in the Hideaway. Not that I'm complaining I enjoy it quite a lot, didn't realize how much I missed them....Hm? Oh right, you want to know if I give good hugs, a bit subjective of an answer as one person's best hug is someone's worst kind of hug. I also don't get that many now a days leading me to think that I maybe don't give good hugs, but again that shouldn't matter so long as there are those that love my hugs a lot."

"Am I limited to just my world? Because if Clive's drunken ramblings have any truth to them, then there's a place that sounds magical called Eorzea. His story goes that he ended up in a different world where there were people that had coeurl ears and tails, long ears of bunnies, a race of people shorter than me! A hero with scales and a tail of a dragon. But the best part is that people with magic and those without lived in peace and many used it to heal and help those around them. Many put it off as a dream Clive once had and maybe that's true, but I've seen the Twins and I want to see more, just in much better times. So I hope there's truth to that faerie tale of Clive's because it sounds idyllic and hopeful."
