As you guys know, I love me some bougie sims and I felt like Brindlenton Bay would be the perfect place to host a Country Club! In this build your sims will be able to lounge by the pool, sip martinis while listening to the best pianists and enjoying their meal with a view of the ocean. I’m continuing to build out this Brindleton Bay save with coastal vibes, so stay tuned, there's more coming your way! ♡

HOW TO DOWNLOAD

There are two possible ways:

Search on the gallery for thesimsideofluca and download the lot (remember to activate CC, else you will not be able to see it)

Another way is downloading the tray files you find at the end of this document and placing them in your 'Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Tray' folder. You will now see them in your own library (remember to activate CC, else you will not be able to see it).

TERMS OF USE

Do not re-upload my builds and claim them as your own. Do not use my builds as a base to create another one and upload them.

Do not put behind a paywall. Do not convert this lot to blender and sell it as a scene.

Feel free to furnish it however you like and use it for your YT series, always giving credit.

1789 - letter from Émile Gustaf Park

Dear family,

I am writing to let you know that I am well.

I am currently in southeastern Finland, on the move from one fortress to another. It is a welcome change from my previous stay at Karlskrona aiding the wounded and sick there.

Military life at wartime is filled with a lot of dull moments, marching and camping. When we are not on the move or resting my time is taken up by work. 

There's always someone in need of aid. I'm loathe to admit some of the excitement of deployment has faded, and now I sorely miss my old bed and attic in Stockholm.

Still, I shan't complain. I'm happy with my work and in good health, and that is what matters the most.

This next part I am writing for your eyes only, Charles Elias. It will not be included in the letter sent to our mother, and I do not want her to ever see or hear of it.

She would worry herself into an early grave if she did. Especially now as the war is still ongoing.

I am drained, Charles Elias. For the sake of efficency I am not only tasked with field surgery, but also with assisting the ill.

It's a nightmare. For each soldier whose life I save, I lose two more to sickness.

Typhus recurrens and dysentery ravage my men, and there's so little I can do.

Even the soldiers who are merely wounded fall ill. Once repaired wounds and limbs rot and kill.

It solidifies my decision to be a barber surgeon rather than a doctor. I do not know how medicine men find joy in such thankless work as this.

Give me a gunshot wound or a broken limb to treat any day. At least I have the power to do something about those.

I can't wait for this war to end so that I may go back to doing what I know and love.

I miss Stockholm, with its bars and lively people. I miss you and our family. I even miss Åland.

Maybe I'll attempt a visit after the war ends.

Livelier Park | Animated Deco Sims | Tester Pack *download*

I went ahead and made a small pack of animated deco sims, or NPC Sims, as some have called them, for a park. Of course these animated deco sims can be placed anywhere in game as well though. All deco sims come with custom interaction as well that have chance of returning notifications to the sim interacting with them. There are also a total of six swatches for each sim, I tried to focus on making them diverse while also not tiring myself out with that tedious process.

You'll notice that some of the objects have a footprint that do not fall directly under them. That is intentional as it makes it better for sims interactions with the deco sims. Although the footprint is moves the objects do still have shadows that are properly aligned with the sim.

Please enjoy and let me know if any issues arrive. There are several changes I have already set to make with my next set of deco sims I would like to work on and am open to feedback or being notified of any issues.

Avid horror fans, Kate and James, have been long awaiting the release of the latest Moonlight Massacre film. On opening night, Elle and Gemma happily agreed to watch their nieces, granting them a much-needed date night. 

After hugs, kisses, and several reminders to “be good”, Elle finally ushered them out the door. “Go have fun!” she insisted.

The couple gladly obliged, heading into town hand in hand. Glad for the opportunity for some alone time. Their lives had always been busy, and moments for just the two of them were rare. But since becoming parents, those moments were stolen from empty hourglasses.

They enjoyed a romantic dinner before heading to the theatre, then picked a spot in the back where they could cuddle. Kate loves a horror movie, but that doesn’t mean she’s never afraid. 

Unable to resist the temptation, James came up with a devious plan. Patiently, listening for his queue. As the music began to swell he snuggled closer as if for protection.  

Suddenly thunder cracked, and a flash of lightning brightened the room as the killer was revealed on screen. James struck, tickling her ferociously. She screamed at the top of her lungs and the whole theatre turned to look at her, while James failed to contain his amusement. 

They laughed the whole way home as he reenacted her reaction. But their banter stopped abruptly when they walked in the door, stifled by panic. 

Kate’s unintelligible scream woke the room. “What’s wrong,” Elle mumbled sleepily. Rounding on her sister with all the ferocity of a bear Kate roared,

“I said where the plum is Charlotte?”
