Je trouve le procès assez intéressant à analyser, Andrealphus accuse ces derniers d'avoir volé le grimoire et d'avoir voulu assassiner Stolas avec l'appui d'un faux témoignage de Striker. Et pour eux, la sentence est la mort pour montrer aux autres imps de ne pas se rebeller et de rester à leur place. Alors que Blitzo voulait juste faire son boulot sortir du moule que l'enfer le forçait à rester ! Alors que justement Satan, pour appliquer les règles et faire en sorte que chaque démons qui y vivent n'aillent pas à l'encontre de son autorité !

En revanche quand Stolas intervient pour le sauver en plaidant coupable pour son crime. Sa sentence n'est pas la mort mais le bannissement de la famille Goetia ainsi que la retiration de ses titres et de ses pouvoirs, devrant vivre parmi les habitants de l'enfer. Ça montre clairement la différence de traitement de différence de classe ! D'ailleurs vu que Blitzo est vu comme un héros par ses comparses, est ce qu'il sera vu comme un symbole ? Poussant des imp a davantage se rebeller et sortir du moule ? Personnellement, je suis pas mal intriguée par la suite du développement de Stolas. Et ce que va advenir Blitzo et les autres par la suite.

I find the trial quite interesting to analyze, Andrealphus accuses them of having stolen the grimoire and of wanting to murder Stolas with the added aid of false testimony from Striker. And for them, the sentence is death to show the other imps not to rebel and to stay in their place. Whereas Blitzo just wanted to do his job and get out of the mold that hell forced him to stay in! Whereas it's Satan's job to enforce the rules and make sure that every demon living there doesn't go against his authority!

However, when Stolas steps in to save him, pleading guilty for his crime, his sentence is not death but banishment from the Goetia family. And the withdrawal of his titles and powers, having to live among the inhabitants of Hell. This clearly shows the difference in class treatment! What's more, since Blitzo is seen as a hero by his peers, will he be seen as a symbol? Pushing imp to rebel and break out of the mold? Personally, I'm quite intrigued by the future development of Stolas. And what will become of Blitzo and the others.
