Your callout is unnecessary and im sorry but she doesn’t deserve that. If you want to come talk to me about it, then fine, but i’ve had it up to here with it. Leave her alone and let her enjoy her muse like everyone in this community should be doing instead of doing unnecessary policing and bullying of other people.

Explanation as to why I have been spotty lately here, but a TL;DR version is that im physically tired from a new job and IRL things so I apologize for not being here a lot! I have all but a few replies lined up and ready to send out into the queue so if you’re wondering about any of those, don’t worry! I have them! I Just need to finish up a few more and then I can work on queueing them so I don’t get piled on!

I’ve been filling in a role of a fast food worker recently (starting last week) because a lot of students are going back to school, but because of that i’m pretty much taking 40 hours a week working with hot foods and grills, as well as intense lifting. Each time I come home my leg has been in utter pain because it feels like I keep stepping on a nerve that makes it feel like a nail is being skewered right into my knee. 

Never fear, however, because i’m completely fine, just really sore because it’s been a while since i’ve been placed in this kind of environment. I’m used to working with myself as the boss, but because of this new adjustment I have to adapt for now until I can afford to finally get my license (because scheduling is highly conflicting with people who can actually help me so i’m at a loss on that portion). 

Now... I’m not going to go into a lot of detail in the next portion because it’s heavy. One of my best friend of 10+ years is going through something that no 20ish year old should go through. Her mom got diagnosed with cancer last summer and she’s been trying so hard to find a solution to help her mom out as best as she can. That means that i’ve also been helping her out with support and being there for her (because her dad divorced her mom a long time ago, he’s not around to do anything for her). 

She told me last week that her mom wasn’t going to make it this week. I went to see her yesterday and her mom really doesn’t look like she’s going to make it. She’s still alive, but each day feels like a ticking time bomb honestly, and I don’t want my best friend to go through this alone. Hell, she’s a year younger than me and she has to go through all of this, signing for her mom and readying her funeral by herself. It’s hard, emotionally. 

So not only am I enduring physical pain, but emotionally im trying my best to do all that I can to make sure that i’m easy to reach and can get what she needs. 

So yeah, i’ve been physically and emotionally exhausted, but I promise that i’m still here! I have my drafts and i’m trying my best to keep up, so thank you everyone who has been an absolute sweetheart and understanding. 

Please remember to take care of yourselves, because your health is most important. I care about you guys, and I love you all a lot! Bless your patience, really.

ooc: So I want to point out something that I noticed. Mcdonalds is having a pokemon toy promotion and they’re all legendaries. 

But then you look at the box and it’s like.

ooc: Some sugar for thought: It brings me great happiness and appreciation when people actually look into ORAS and find out that it’s not as horrible as a lot of people make it out to be. 

Like, it’s not the best game ever in the series. I think all games have their obvious flaws and all. It just makes me genuinely happy when, despite having those flaws, that there is enjoyment in it one way or another. For me, I can never say that ORAS is better than RSE, or that RSE is better than ORAS. Both of them have their differences and similarities, and yet I love them both all the same.

ooc: Im exhausted from everything today (from cleaning for five hours straight to worrying about getting my computer back from it blue screening a few days ago) but I just want to say that all of you guys are great. No matter what portrayal you write or what you go with your muse, you’re the captain of your boat, so as long as you’re happy sailing it then that’s what’s worth it, right? 

Please treat yourselves, you deserve it for doing what you love.

ooc: So I saved all of the important information I had in my directory just in case anything happened to it and I never realized that Tumblr heckled with my links. 

Either way, I fixed them all (mostly) and the ones that are blanked out I have yet to write into (except for the ‘how to become a league member’ one. Tumblr did a thing and now I need to scroll through this whole blog to find that one post JUST to link it. That and my verses page is missing so that’s a thing I Need to find too.) 

ANyway i’m off tomorrow so i’m here for tonight!

ooc: Also I believe it IS canon that in ORAS Roxanne describes Steven as someone that expresses seriousness most of the time- which isn’t unlike most business men since you kind of have to be hard and set in order to lead and know where you’re going.  ...but also she mentions that if you mention rocks to him that he pretty much warms up to you at the drop of a hat and shows a charming side to him. This is what passion will do to you when you love something so much that if someone acknowledges it it’s like releasing a breath of fresh air.

ooc: There’s actually a few reasons because of that change but one of the major ones is because- well, when you become one of Hoenn’s strongest trainers that confidence skyrockets like a thermometer on a hot blistering day in arizona!
