Was pondering how Mark’s rigid ass mask/lens is prob a Budget Thing (since squishy, bendy lens are pretty much a mandate for all hero animated series, like JL, BTAS, TNBA, Spider-Man, etc), and then I was slapped with a vision of Mark in a more JL/BTAS-ish style and I had to see it through. I am a genius btw.

This unnamed Steel/Poison Eeveelution was inspired by liquid mercury and toxic industrial waste.

#??? - On rare occasion, an Eevee can be affected by more than one environmental factor, and reacts to grow into a new, rare evolution. Eevee who wonder into polluted industrial zones or environments tainted by heavy metal runoff may evolve into this Steel/Poison-type Pokémon. Their bodies consist of a highly reflective, viscous liquid metal that ripples and drips with every movement. In spite of their fluid composition, these Pokémon are deceptively dense and incredibly resilient. They can momentarily liquefy parts of their bodies to slip through narrow gaps, evade incoming attacks, or reshape their limbs into bladed or spiked appendages for quick, powerful strikes. Contact with their metallic hide leaves behind a toxic, gleaming residue that weakens and poisons foes, making physical engagement a dangerous gamble. Despite their hazardous nature, these Eeveelutions have carefree and excitable personalities and are not prone to violence; however, their curiosity and affectionate demeanor can be dangerous, as they sometimes forget the risk their bodies pose to those around them. Responsible Trainers must ensure their Pokémon is well-trained and responsive to commands, especially in social situations. To encourage this unique evolution, Trainers may have their Eevee hold a Toxic Ingot while engaging in battles against Poison-type Pokémon.

hello! I’ve been totally enchanted by your band weaving and am getting ready to try some myself! You recently mentioned a technique where the warp threads could be two different colours in the same slot, are you willing to share how you do that?

Love to hear that!! Having "one" warp end switch between two colors is fairly straightforward:

Warp two colors through one slot in the heddle

Drop the color you don't want to the bottom of the shed (so it passes below the shuttle)

Repeat for each row you weave

Above is an example of what the warp could look like. (Note: this band is warped for double-faced weaving, not baltic pick-up, but the basic concept of two colors through one slot remains the same)

A few things to be wary of:

If you are using the dual color technique for your pattern threads in baltic pick-up (or any supplementary warp weaving), you'll want to be mindful of when you switch from one color to the next.

Distortions: The two colors are going to sit side by side. This means that if you switch immediately from one to the other, they will appear to twist around each other instead of stacking cleanly. You can see this in the flowers below, or, more clearly, in the circled section on the back of the same band.

If there is a blank row between the colors the distinction between the two will be cleaner. You can see this in the x pattern between the flowers.

Float length: Another thing to be mindful of is the length of the floats. When one color sits on top, the other sits on the bottom as a float until it's brought back up again. Really, this just means that you'll have to switch between the two colors fairly frequently if you want nice short floats. If you plan to sew the band down to something when you're done, the float length doesn't matter as much. It's just prone to catching on things!

I’m probably not the first person to do this, but this is how i interpret them !! If you would give them other types/pokemon, feel free to let me know in the notes !! I would love to other people’s opinions!!
