Yahoo Finance - ECB warns of 'bubble' in AI stocks as funds deplete cash buffers - Reuters November 20, 2024 The central bank for the 20 countries that share the euro noted the stock market, particularly in the United States, had become increasingly dependent on a handful of companies perceived as the beneficiaries of the AI boom. "This concentration among a few large firms raises concerns over the possibility of an AI-related asset price bubble," the ECB said. "Also, in a context of deeply integrated global equity markets, it points to the risk of adverse global spillovers, should earnings expectations for these firms be disappointed."

Please don’t fall for AI hype and corporate propagandists who just slap AI onto everything to make it sound fancy. AI doesn’t really exist, automation is really nothing new, and chatbots are horribly prone to generating errors and misinformation. ECB has warned that the AI boom may be an asset price bubble that’s putting integrated global equity markets at risk.

This monumental figure is primarily driven by India’s massive cricket-loving population, which translates into colossal Live cricket Match broadcasting rights deals, lucrative sponsorship agreements, and the immense success of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The IPL, a T20 extravaganza, is not just a cricketing spectacle but also a highly profitable commercial enterprise, generating billions for the BCCI and its stakeholders. The BCCI’s revenue for the financial year 2024 was even higher, at ₹20,686 crore, solidifying its position as the richest board by a significant margin. Furthermore, the BCCI is set to receive a substantial 38.5% of the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) annual revenue for the 2024-2027 cycle, amounting to approximately $231 million a year, further cementing its financial superiority.

4. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) ₹458 Crore

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) follows with ₹458 Crore (approximately $55 Million). The PCB has shown impressive financial growth recently, with its revenue for the 2023-24 fiscal year reaching Rs 10 billion, a 40% increase from the previous year, positioning itself among the top three in terms of growth.

5. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB)

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) secures the fifth spot with ₹425 Crore (approximately $51 Million), reflecting the growing popularity of cricket in Bangladesh and its expanding broadcast market.
