lowkey left twitter bc I didn’t wanna deal w leaked pics of the tannies that were going around. I genuinely enjoy reading blogs and discussions far more than twitter convos where everyone seems to have a razor blade in hand just in case they have to fight. But now that I saw them leaked pics here in tumblr, it makes me sad and disappointed.

Please refrain from sharing pics of the tannies during their MS unless they have directly shared them with us. I know we all are always hoping that they are okay and would love to get updates about their well-being which we shall get soon from the tannies themselves.

I also am aware that some of those pics going around were official releases from the military itself but I can’t help to think that these were not pics the tannies could freely consent to. If they had a choice, I don’t think they would want these released. They didn’t get to agree to these bc they’re no longer civilians rn. They don’t have a say. So please keep that in mind when you see those circulating.

Hi! Hope you've been doing well!

Jimin and JK enlisted together in a buddy program or “dongbanipdae (동반입대), companion soldiers. Basically they are going in together in the same camp, going through training together and then will spend their service over the next 18 months together and then will leave the military together too. They had to apply months in advance for the buddy program and probably had been working on it and hoping it worked out for them for a long time.

Let's all just take a vow to ignore tkkrs because they don't actually say anything of value anyway, so what's it matter? Lol so JKs one off comment about wanting to join special forces (which is still a valid desire he can have!!) During the live, doesn't actually impact why he made the choice to go with Jimin anyway. No one forced the man lol and it was quite the process they had to sign up for to get to do it. They made this choice on purpose.

It's an option he would've found enjoyable that he always knew that he wouldn't be able to go if he got tattoos.... And he did it anyway. So like, clearly he didn't care THAT much or he would've waited to get body modifications done until his service was over. And the buddy service option is again, not something you do as a consultation prize or on a passing whim. Lol it's a PROCESS and a choice. One they made together. And I'm so glad they have each other as a comfort through this process. They will need it and it brings ME comfort knowing they have each other through this time. Especially because they are each other's person. They are each other's comfort people. As literally showcased in their goodbye live!!!

The way they touch each other, look at each other, answer questions for each other, look out for each other, lean into each other, comfort each other. Yeah, that's love. That's what I'm happy they will have for the next 18+ months as they tackle this new challenge together.

Hello again, I'm the anon who felt stupid about the whole Jungkook being a cook situation. Thank you so much for answering so nicely and thoroughly, I was a bit scared that my question would sound sarcastic or judging when it was anything but. I already knew about the companion system that meant Jimin and Jungkook would be in the same place. I just had no idea what type of role they had taken. As for Jungkook, he already loved cooking, so if that is what he does during MS, I hope it make him content. I personally was just super happy to hear from him today. It's sad that others are using this bit of news to hate on any members :(. From the very little I have seen, the BTS members have all tried to make the best of a situation they couldn't avoid no matter what. So I'll continue patiently waiting for them and hoping they are all doing as well as possible. I hope you have a great rest of your day :).

I too am happy for him, he doesn’t have to prove himself to anybody. He is a singer and entertainer. That is his life’s work. This is a pause in his life where we are privileged to keep up with him where we can.

He’s shown us how much he loves to eat AND loves to cook. How lovely has it been that we’ve been able to see him in action cooking several times, sharing recipes with us and cooking for him and Jimin in the Monuments documentary!

Like you I hope him, and all the members stay mentally, physically and emotionally well until they finish. Let’s continue to send nothing but love and positivity their way!
