âUntouchableâ
âąThis magic allows Erick to turn off his bodyâs sense of touch, including for things like pain
âąHe can isolate a certain part of his body or he can numb himself all over
âąThough his body will sustain damage just the same, Erick will not feel any sort of pain or discomfort when this magic is activated
âąThe magic will have a lingering numbness effect after it has been deactivated.

âErick is known as a very laid back and polite man. He is typically seen as friendly despite his more introverted nature.
âErick has Touretteâs Syndrome; which makes him have a variety of tics, usually motor, that worsen when stressed or fatigued.
â He is generally not the type to get angry, but he does have some very specific buttons that cause him to snap when pushed. He very decidedly does not mention his family at all.
â Erick is childhood friends with Claudious ( @rookvonhunt ), though acts more like a subordinate now. It is rumored that Erick is the one often doing a lot of Claudiousâ dirty work.

Darrell Lucus at Loud, Liberal, Christian:
During Donald Trumpâs first run for the White House, a number of prominent Christian conservatives didnât hesitate to rally to his side even when it was obvious that he was a boor, a bully, and a gangster. One notable exception was conservative talk show host Erick Erickson. In a September 2016 column, he wrote that one big reason he wasnât willing to support Trump was that he feared Trump could âpoison the church from within.â He was particularly concerned with Trumpâs refusal to repent or ask forgivenessâevidence that Trump hadnât even begun to understand âChristianity 101.â Erickson reversed himself and supported Trump in 2020 and 2024, presumably while holding his nose. But anyone who has been paying attention would find it hard to disagree that he has been very prescient about the extent the church has gone to embrace Trump. No doubt when Erickson penned this that he was thinking about how Robert Jeffress, pastor of First Baptist Church of Dallas, told the Dallas Observer in April 2016 that wanted a president who would be âthe meanest, toughest son of a gun I can find,â not a âCasper Milquetoast.â In hindsight, this take from Jeffress was a harbinger of how the nationâs moral guardians reacted to the Access Hollywood tapes. Rather than cast Trump aside as morally unfit, they circled the wagons around him. And they have continued to do so for the better part of a decade, even after it was amply established that Trump was not only a boor, a bully, and a gangster, but also a traitor.
If that wasnât enough to prove Erickson was on to something, any doubt should have been put to rest in 2023, when Russell Moore, the former head of the Southern Baptist Conventionâs Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission, made a breathtaking revelation on NPRâs âAll Things Considered.â Moore said that a number of pastors had told him that whenever they quoted Jesusâ Sermon on the Mount, they were accused of pushing âwoke liberal nonsense.â Worse, when said pastor points out that heâs quoting Jesus, a frequent response is, âYes, but that doesnât work anymore. Thatâs weak.â Suddenly, it makes sense why Mark Galli, editor-in-chief of Christianity Today, came under heavy fire when he called for Trump to be impeached and removed for trying to shake down Ukraine. It was to be expected that Trump would go into one of his trademark Twitter meltdowns. However, Galli was also sharply rebuked by a whoâs-who of evangelical leaders who claimed his op-ed was an attack on âtens-of-millions of believers who take seriously their civic and moral obligations.â
[...]
In hindsight, the explanation is starkâto borrow Ericksonâs words, the people who clutched their pearls over this piece seem to need a refresher in âChristianity 101.â Fortunately, Christianity Today hasnât bent the knee to Trump. It named Moore, one of the more vocal never-Trumpers in the evangelical world, as its editor-in-chief in 2022. But it says something about the state of American evangelicalism that there should even be a debate about whether Trump is worth supporting, even when there is no doubt who he really is. At least one major Christian publication outside this country has no such concerns. Namely, Dagen, a Christian newspaper based in Sweden. One of its editors, Erik Helmerson, watched Trump sit down with South African president Cyril Ramaphosa, and spread the shibboleth that white South Africans were being targeted by genocide. Like most of us, Helmerson walked away shaking his head. But he stopped shaking his head long enough to tell his audience exactly what we sawâTrump was reverting to his old habit of loudly and shamelessly lying.
[...]
Imagine something along the lines of Helmersonâs piece running in print or online here in the States. The odds of such a piece passing without howls of protest from pro-Trump evangelicals are slightly higher than finding a needle in a haystack. Thatâs a shame, because there is nothing even remotely controversial about âliving as we teach.â Perhaps our counterparts across the Atlantic have a better understanding of âChristianity 101â than we do.
I was pointed to this article by Swedish Pentecostal evangelist and self-described âcharismactivistâ Micael Grenholm, an editor at Pentecostals and Charismatics for Peace and Justice, a collective of charismatics and Pentecostals who believe Holy Spirit fire and a social conscience arenât mutually exclusive. When he shared this article on his Facebook feed, Grenholm noted, and rightly, that as Christians, we have âa special responsibility to counteract the culture of lies and manipulation.â Again I askâhow is that even remotely controversial? If we as Christians are to stand up for truth, part of our witness should be to call out lies, deceit, and alternative facting.
Unfortunately, a significant number of evangelicals here in this country seem willing to excuse Trumpâs fast and loose relationship with the truth because heâs given them what they want and then some on their pet issues. For instance, a poll by Pew Research in late April found Trumpâs overall approval rating deep underwater, at 40 percent approval to 59 percent disapproval. But even that low figure may have been inflated, since a whopping 72 percent of white evangelicals approved of how Trump was doing.
Swedish Christian magazine Dagen having more courage to call out Donald Trumpâs gaslighting than many Christian publications in the US is a sight to behold.

Waiting for your love, Robert Chase x Reader
When House's first team disbanded entirely, you were hired to help the doctor with the paperwork. After a few years you finally meet the famous Robert Chase, unfortunately not on the best terms.
When you started working with the infamous Doctor House, you didn't know that your life would change overnight.
He was a peculiar man, not to say crazy, but he was an excellent doctor and over time you got used to the man's crazy mind. You knew the names of the doctors who were part of House's infamous first team.
Eric Forman. The man who had returned to the team a few months after leaving and who you had the pleasure of calling your friend.
Alison Cameron. Certainly one of the kindest and bravest women in the world, according to Erick's far from impartial opinions and some subtle comments from House.
And Robert Chase. You had never met the man at any point. It seemed like the universe never put you in the same room together, every time House needed him for a case, somehow you weren't working at the time. But it wasn't uncommon to hear House talking about Chase.
Out of all three of the original doctors, you were pretty sure Chase was the mayor of Gregory.
When House went to a psychiatric clinic because of his Vicodin addiction, you were forced to look for a new job with great reluctance.
You had gotten used to that crazy life in the hospital. Managing documents that House refused to do, the nights out with Thirteen, the jokes in the office, the jokes with Taub.
So the moment Cuddy said House would be returning to the hospital, you didn't think twice about returning to your old position.
Things had changed. It was clear. House no longer wanted to be part of the diagnostics team and now Foreman was the head of the unit.
You tried to convince House to return to the department, and you ate a lot during that time, as the man was committed to his short culinary career. At the end of it all, House came back.
He hated work, but he hated being without it even more. But everything was different once again.
Taub resigned. Foreman fired Thirteen. And now Cameron and Chase were back on the team.
You clearly remembered the moment you were sitting next to House helping him with the patient's medical file and the two doctors entered the room.
You jumped up, observing the two blondes in the room. It was a weird performance and you hated yourself forever.
Meeting Alisson was an honor for you. I knew what an incredible doctor she was. But she felt horrible as soon as she looked at her husband and saw the most perfect man on earth.
Chase was beautiful.
You blushed when you shook his hand and even more so when he greeted you with his Australian accent.
During the entire affair, which took more out of you than anyone else because of all the legal protocols, you somehow ended up becoming very good friends with the MARRIED man (you had to remember) who you had developed a crush on since the first time House described it.
When Dibala passed away, Chase secretly admitted to you that it was his fault. Even though he didn't know you, Chase trusted you more than his own wife.
And that was wrong, but it gave you hope that you knew you shouldn't have. Soon it became the secret between you and Foreman later on.
When it became too much to lie to Cameron, Chase would come to you. So you chatted like old friends at a bar and regularly played bowling to relieve the stress of the secret.
When he finally told Alisson, their friendship didn't change. You were still a confidant to him.
When things in their marriage got complicated, you supported him.
But that was it for him. A friend. A support. And for you it was everything. If you had seen the signs back then things might have been different.
âąâąâą
The night Cameron went to the hospital to get Chase to sign the divorce agreement was when everything changed.
Chase desperately wanted to talk to his ex-wife about what went wrong between them, but Cameron was adamant and just made him sign the papers.
He was a wreck and immediately ran to you.
When the entire hospital went into lockdown due to a missing baby, you and Chase got together in House's office and got drunk.
He complained about everything and told you about everything. And you listened carefully. You blamed the alcohol, but somehow you knew you were sober enough not to get into that situation.
That was the first night you slept with Chase.
âąâąâą
_ It became a habit.
Almost every night was spent in your apartment.
Chase's hands running all over your body.
His mouth on yours.
His teasing voice in your ear.
The bed hitting the wall.
A vicious habit that you loved more than anything.
It was even funny when you watched him sleep next to you and remember that his relationship with Cameron had started like that, a relationship of benefit.
You wondered if you could be dumber than that. Pretending to sleep every time he left your apartment in the middle of the night. And crying softly hoping that at least once he would stay.
But it was just that, sex.
You wouldn't pressure him, not after all. You couldn't. But I couldn't leave that either.
You preferred just the pleasure you could feel than begging for love you knew you couldn't receive from him.
It was destructive.
But you just couldn't help but love Robert Chase and hope that at some point he would love you back.

It has come up as of late, yet again, regarding the use of the term phantom limbs while referring to the experiences some alterhumans have where they feel traits on their bodies that are not physically there. Â
While I could go into the long, long history of the term being used in the alterhuman communities going back into the 1990s, as this debateâs key sticking point is in regard to phantom limb being a medical term specific to the experiences of amputees or instead a general term that can be used for non-amputees as well, Iâm going to strictly be pulling from academic sources below. Â Â
To put it succinctly, the use of the term phantom limbs for alterhuman experiences has been recognized by multiple researchers and in other academic settings over the years. Ergo, no it isnât a term specific to amputees that doesn't apply to alterhuman experiences. - Academic references below cut-
Examples:
The research done by a multidisciplinary team of researchers focusing on the study of the furry fandom called the International Anthropomorphic Research Project, uses the term phantom limb while referring the experiences of therians and otherkin. In their book, FurScience! A Summary of Five Years of Research from the International Anthropomorphic Research Project, which is a summary of five years of continuous research into the furry fandom, a section simply named âPhantom Limb,â touches on the topic of phantom limbs among furries, therians, and otherkin. [1] They go into the presence of âphantom limbsâ among furries, therians, and otherkin again in their piece âFurries, Therians, and Otherkin, Oh My! What Do All Those Words Mean, Anyway?â which was part of the book, Furries Among Us 2: More Essays on Furries by Furries. Further, in 2019, the team published an academic article which shared their results where they used the previously mentioned Rubber Hand Illusion experiment on furries and therians. Once again, when bringing up the existence of experiences among therians and otherkin, the researchers use the term âphantom limbs.â [2]Â
Devin Proctorâs 2019 dissertation, On Being Non-Human: Otherkin Identification and Virtual Space includes, along with dozens of mentions of the term throughout the work, a section on Phantom Shifting and in which he uses the term âphantom limbs.â [3]
For yet another example, the article, âAn Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis of Identity in the Therian Communityâ also goes into quite some detail regarding the experience of âphantom limbsâ among therians. [4]
A final example includes Nat Brickerâs 2016 thesis, Life Stories of Therianthropes: An Analysis of Nonhuman Identity in a Narrative Identity Model. [5]
âŠ
This is NOT an exhaustive list in the slightest, but I think Iâve made my point clear enough (and I have other things I need to do today other than keep searching through my archive...).
TL;DR - Researchers who have studied therians and otherkin ALSO use the term phantom limbs to describe our experiences. This isnât appropriation or otherwise misuse of medical terminology. This is using a word for what it means.

jâai commencĂ© Ă me rebeller vers l'Ăąge de neuf ans.
Ensuite, je me suis couchĂ©.
