There I was… majestically stretched out on my throne by the window, fur in full sunshine, bird buffet in sight, lookin’ like a whole feline snack. 😼

But instead of spying on the birds…

I watched her.

Because someone is clearly more interesting than pigeons. 💁🏻‍♀️

Then I rolled.

Then I wiggled.

Then I… uh…

gracefully teleported off the window ledge. 😹

She laughed.

I gave her The Look™.

“You laughing at me, hooman? This was part of the performance. Obviously.”

Then I strutted off like I meant to fall. Like a true professional.

Even when we tumble, us rescue cats do it in style. 💚

headcanons for my couples

And They Were Roommates -> Kyra & Y/n

Y/n swears up and down that she’s not a cuddly sleeper. She says it with her whole chest.

And every night, she kisses Kyra goodnight, turns away like she’s about to settle in on her side… but Kyra already knows the truth.

Y/n tosses. Then turns. Then scoots back until her back meets Kyra’s chest.

And that’s not even enough. A few minutes later, she’s fully turned around, head on Kyra’s chest, leg wrapped around her waist like a koala.

Kyra never minds. Not when Y/n's sleep-rumpled face is so close to hers.

What she does mind is when, the next morning, Y/n stretches and says, "Told you I don’t cuddle in my sleep." Like she didn’t spend the night wrapped around Kyra.

Stuck with you -> kika and yn

Y/n is hyper-aware of Kika’s routines. The way she always ties her boots a certain way. The granola bar she eats before practice. Her favorite spot on the pitch.

Not that she’d ever admit it. That would be embarrassing.

One day, Pina unknowingly takes Kika’s go-to training spot on the right side, closer to the left line.

Kika doesn’t say anything—she’s too polite. But Y/n notices.

And she’s grumpy about it. She marches over and tells Pina to move, all scowl and furrowed brow.

"Why?" Pina asks, a little too casually.

Y/n stammers. Shrugs. Rolls her eyes. "Just… move.”

Pina, of course, moves...with a smirk. She enjoys watching Y/n pretend she doesn’t have feelings. She also enjoys watching Kika blush for the next 20 minutes.

Falling, literally -> aggie and yn

Chaos. Complete chaos.

Both are confident and extroverted, but Aggie is smug while Y/n is the more uptight kind of confident.

When they go out with friends, one of them has to stay sober to stop the other from flirting too obviously—otherwise, their friends and teammates will know they’re dating.

When Y/n is the sober one, she spends the night dragging around a very handsy, very affectionate Aggie who keeps calling her "pretty girl" in front of everyone.

When Aggie is the sober one, she just watches. Watches Y/n blush at the most innocent conversation. Watches her get flustered and tongue-tied like they’re school-girls again. Aggie lives for it.
