#FRAM doesnt need a battery to keep the data so it'll last forever

so i replaced the SRAM in my copy of Pokemon Gold with a FRAM mod hoping it would fix the issue with it not saving. and it works! it saves now! except every time i boot it the time is corrupted ._. which means the issue was not the SRAM chip (like i'd hoped); its the MBC chip that controls the clock and saving the only way i can fix that is by getting another one from a donor cart. which is going to be a pain. i dont want to have to destroy a japanese pokemon gold. uggggggh!! also! i installed it just like the instructions said but now the cart wont close! cuz its too big!! so thats great. im going to have to redo it. yay.
