Robin Headcanons

@unknownbookworm you asked for these on ny side blog but I'm gonna answer them here.

Robin is a lightweight, it's why she doesn't drink much

But she's built up a better tolerance being with the crew

On that note, she is one of the only strawhats that have not been roped into Nami and Zoro's drinking contest

The others are Chopper and Luffy, who don't have any interest in drinking.

Robin had a tubal ligation while working under Crocodile. She knew any child she had would be hunted, so she decided to make sure it couldn't happen.

Since being with Franky, she does sometimes imagine if they had a child, but doesn't regret the actions she took to keep herself alive and safe. Besides, her crew is enough.

Franky also lost his ability to have kids in his original accident, so they're perfect together(forgot to add this in with my frobin ones so here it goes)

On bad days, she sometimes cannot bring herself to speak. She can open her mouth but the words refuse to come out.

The crew supports her by anticipating her needs. Usually she can point to whatever she needs and the crew jumps to get it done for her.

Sometimes Usopp will do his own storytime, and his outlandish details gradually make Robin ask her own questions, and teasing him is how she climbs out of the mood.

Occasionally she will find artifacts/books/jewelry that is clearly from Alabasta, and she will grab it to give to Nami, who in turn either sends it back to Vivi or keeps it as a token for Vivi

Helping their relationship is the least Robin can do, In her mind.

On Baltigo Robin would trade stories about Luffy as a captain to Sabo in exchange for stories of Luffy as a child.

She is keeping Koala's status as a Revolutionary secret from Jimbei so she can have a sweet surprise reunion with him the way Sabo got to have with Luffy

Robin has an allergy to blueberries, which she kept hidden from the crew until after Enies Lobby

It was just force of habit keep it hidden so it couldn't be used against her, but Sanji asked about it after noticing how she avoids it

He cried for about 30 minutes because he was so happy she trusted him

Robin is the only one who can beat Nami at cards

Nami and Robin spend most games trying to cheat better than each other.

Which is why Nami often recruits Robin to con men at bars during card games.

Her and Chopper make sure to find a bookstore on every island they go to, and Robin makes sure to gran any books she thinks her crewmates will like.

Chopper spends the first few trips just watching Robin intently, worried she might just disappear on them again.

Robin has written down a lot of Brook's stories about the Rumbar pirates, so they can have a written history that will last.

She has also started taking down a record of the Sun Pirates from Jimbei, so that their truth can be preserved, and not just the propaganda that the Navy pushes.

As an archeologist, her job has always been focused on the past, but she's finding she also has the ability to change the future with her crew, and it warms her heart to feel a part of something.

She has taken to writing in the Journey log along with Nami, to keep the strawhat history.

Robin and Zoro can spend hours together without saying a word

At first the crew(mostly Usopp and Chopper) was worried it meant they weren't bonding, but they both look forward to their silent time. It's how they recharge.

Robin actually has a few books from Flevance. She gifted these to Law after Wano.

Hrrrrmmmmm okkaaaay soooooo

this is a sketch comic i drew last year (November 2023) shortly after finishing Ennie's Lobby and starting a new full time job. I didn't really write a script for it and i finished it in 2 weeks... this is completely unedited and just how i made it a year ago (lol rip good luck)

when i tell you i have never responded to anything more passionately in my life that is the truth... idk i fell into a coma or something, it was crazy

there are some things about this that I think are quite nice, which is why I'm sharing it!!! But also please note that it also deserves a good helping of "HE WOULD NOT F***ING SAY THAT" and i understand that ���� i hope you are able to enjoy it anyway, i said what i said
