Ford Explorer Limited XLT "Jurassic Park," 1993. Explorer 07 was one of seven Ford SUVs prepared by George Barris for the original Jurassic Park movie. EXP 07 didn't feature physically in the film, it appeared on Ray's browser as a Safari Tour Ride vehicle as he highlighted EXP 04/05, which were destroyed in the movie.

"We have a T-Rex!" Here's my first art piece for 2024: Fan Art of JP-93 and Tyrannocon Rex from the Jurassic Park/Transformers crossover (they do be kinda ship dynamic tho) I really do love the figures themselves, so I decided to do them up in my style (with a tad of artistic license) and I'm very pleased with how they turned out Hope you all like it too~

every time i enter your car, i smell you again.  it’s been a long time since i smelled you.  

it’s been over a year, and though you are long in the ground, though your son now drives what you once did, and though new music plays through the old speakers, your smell lingers on.

even after all these years, since i first tried to decipher it, i still can’t place what makes it so YOU.

could it be your perfume, or makeup, or shampoo?  could it be the dirt and gas that lingered from the farms, or could it just be the “old person smell” everyone talks about?

whatever it may be, it’s still here.  no matter how many weed clouds or gas stations we drive by, every time i board the passenger seat of your white ford explorer, i am brought back to tea parties and makeup and donettes.  i am somehow transported in time to your once curly hair now pin-straight.  i am reminded of the hospice ward, where i would visit every day until i couldn’t.  i am brought back to the day where i wanted to stay with you, through the night, just to ease the pain.  i am brought back to the morning after, where i learned you had passed overnight.  

i wonder, if just maybe, we had stayed.
