Jacob Bekenstein, in one of the most profound insights of modern physics, proposed that the entropy of any physical system is not limitless; it is constrained by its energy and the smallest sphere that can enclose it.

Summer on My Mind

After months of barely doing any fractals at all, lately I've been making stuff that looks like comic books. Which strikes me as weird. It's not my usual style at all, and in fact isn't something I would have said I even liked very much. (Although I do like halftone quite a lot.) I'm gradually concluding that it's maybe an attempt to process how extremely angry I am about Neil Gaiman, and how much of his public persona appears to have been a carefully-maintained deception. It's horrifying to think about how many people he must have hurt, over the years, while playing the character of a genial, goth-y Mr. Rogers. So this one gets a long, obnoxious Statement of a title:
