Alright, it's that time again! the ssrs are finally finished, up to the newest Ed card. reposting the link so it can be found in the tag again.
a few editor's notes lol:
The SSR, SR, and R pages remain in the same format as before, the only changes being new information
New from last time I posted the link is separation based on house. Each page has the same info as the SSR page, with the addition of element, but it may be easier to find different cards now, since there's no need to scroll quite so far
In progress, there's a page to separate based on certain skills (Guard, Curse, Sleep, Stun, etc). They're sorted out for now, but I'm not a fan of the format, so info is there but it might not be the easiest to navigate. This is so that when I note to pair with other units with one of those skills, it's easier to figure out which units those are
As always, feel free to share around! Tell your guilds, share in discord, w/e u want. If you have suggestions for different things to do with cards from what I have written, please let me know! I'm just doing my best with what makes sense to me, so it might not be the Best options and I'm open to changing up what I have on the sheet
#tokyo debunker#tdb#game tips#i'll be leaving the current pinned post where it is with some edits but this is for folks who may not know its there

For the life of me, I cannot remember how attractive I made my Sherlock so ig I'll just find out at the ball
I am getting the bad feeling you're reusing a save file that's multiple updates old and I'm scared for you (and for me). Your game file is not gonna run in any way, shape or form, right 😭
To get correct content, with each update, make a new save—either from the start or from the quick start that is a few chapters in (where you would need to choose attractiveness once more). The type of errors you can get won't just be that a variable says "UNDEFINED" or the game crashes. You could also get the entirely wrong content, or that pages are missing.
However, if you want to check your old save file for what the attractiveness variable was, I imagine that might be possible on a browser where you can turn on dev tools 🧐

Wasted time loops?
So, this is something I did my first run through of outer wilds, especially when I got around midway though. Basically where I knew what I was looking for but I didn't know how to find it.
(I'm remaining pretty vague so that people still new to the game can try these out for themselves)
Sometimes when I would repeat loop after loop, typically dying without finding any more discoveries, I would take 'break loops'
What I mean by that is I would go do the things that made me appreciate the game so much.
Here's a list of some of my break loops:
Go to my favorite planet! (Brittle Hollow)
Flying around the Hourglass Twins and trying to weave between the sand canyon on Ember Twin
Explore local, ex. Talk to characters on Timber Hearth or go in the water springs
Fly very very very far away to were the solar system is one spec and point the signalscope towards it
I think that doing this helped take away the slight frustration from not finding new discoveries, but also gave time to appreciate the game features more as well as lessen the panic of death.

PSA if you're struggling in Lies Of P.
I struggled a fair bit on my first playthrough I didn't look up how things worked and took my time figuring it out. Near the end of my first run, I learned how amazing the elemental weapons are I did mostly a quality build my first run it took a round 40 hours. The other day, I started a fresh run, deciding to do heavy weapons but also using the elemental weapons as I found them. I gotta say using the elemental weapons makes the game a LOT easier! I just got to the swap area last night, and I've only played for 10 hours, I wish I knew in my first run how effective it was to use elemental weapons and exploit weaknesses when I was stuck or having a hard time.
Each elemental weapon has an early-game version and a late-game version, but honestly, some of the early-game ones are OP even at the end of the game.
Here is a little rundown on them: Puppets & carcass-puppet hybrids are weak to Electric Blitz weapons that deal Electric Blitz as a default are - Circular Electric Chainsaw Blade & Electric Coil Stick Head. Carcass, carcass-puppet hybrids, and humans are weak to Fire damage; weapons that deal Fire damage as a default are -Black Steel Cutter Blade & Salamander Dagger Blade. Humans and Electric-themed Puppets are weak to Acid damage; weapons that deal Acid damage as a default are - Acidic Crystal Spear Blade & Carcass Crystal Axe Blade.
Using a crank to change the damage scaling to match whatever stat you are primarily running works well to get more damage out of these weapons when fighting enemies weak to them of course, this is optional.
The Salamander Dagger and Acidic Crystal Spear are two of my favorite weapons, I destroyed all of areas IV & V with the Salamander Dagger with ease & the Acidic Spear makes the Black Rabbit Brotherhood fight a joke.
Also, if you combine the head of the Circular Electric Chainsaw Blade with the Pistol Rock Drill Handle, you effectively get the Whirligig Saw weapon from Bloodborne it also shares some similarities with the Ghiza's Wheel from Elden Ring. I found that the Chainsaw Blade on the Spear of Honor Handle is also a lot of fun, as the charged heavy is a charging attack with the Chainsaw spinning and deals a good chuck of damage while being a gap closer and seems to break weapons as an added bonus.

How Gale Became the MVP of my Honour Mode Run
I finished my solo Honour Mode run last night, friends. And while I normally have Durge cut off his hand or barely use him, a certain shoe-eating wizard ended up being the most vital component in my Honour Mode strategy.
While I am not the first to discover this exploit I have not seen it discussed too much amongst the fandom, so let's talk about it.
*DISCLAIMER: Do not come at me for "not playing Honour Mode properly" or "making the game too easy" etc. The point of the game is to have fun and I had a lot of fun using this method for Honour Mode. I enjoy a challenging game as much as anyone, but the single-save/tpk-once-and-honour-mode-ends scenario is intimidating with a game as long as BG3, and so I wanted to buff my party as much as possible. And I assure you, Honour Mode is still plenty difficult even with the strategy I'm about to delve into.*
You actually need a Cleric, not a Wizard - but it has to be Gale
I first learned of this method from Reddit, here and here. I am going to explain how it worked out for me but am by no means claiming to be the first to come up with this.
As it turns out, Gale's unique condition comes with a perk that the game never brings to your attention: he heals himself at camp when not in your party, refreshing his health and restoring his spell slots. While this lil buff can be convenient to use in any BG3 playthrough, it becomes especially broken when utilized for Honour Mode.
You see, if you play your Honour Mode run carefully until your group reaches level 3, you can then respec Gale into a Cleric. This gives him access to Warding Bond - and the beautiful thing about Warding Bond is that it remains active even if you remove the caster from your party. Do you see where I'm going with this?
You can have Cleric Gale cast Warding Bond on the party members you want to adventure with, and then have him chill at camp with all Warding Bonds still active. Because of Gale's special camp healing ability, as he takes damage redirected from your battles he will also be healing himself at camp. This effectively creates a nearly infinite Warding Bond, granting you resistance to all damage as well as the +1 to AC and saving throws for as long as you need.
No exploit is flawless
Keep in mind that it is still very possible for Gale to die if he takes too much redirected damage before his camp heal is triggered. While I can't say for sure this is how it works, my understanding is that his camp heal can be triggered about once per turn-based round. Think of it like he's a hidden character in the battle's turn-based lineup, so if he takes too much damage before his "turn" for the round, he dies before he can heal - thus ending the Warding Bond.
This will also mean that you'll find him stewing in his lovely necrotic energy when you next head to camp. Before getting set up with this method, I had seen some people online claim that the necrotic energy at camp can permanently kill Scratch and/or the Owlbear Cub. As much as it pained me (and I mean it really, really pained me), I decided to not recruit either of our favorite furry friends for this Honour Mode run due to fear of them accidentally being killed forever by Gale at camp.
There is obviously a chance the anecdotes I read were not totally correct and that it is safe to recruit them, but I couldn't bear the thought of finding them dead at camp and unable to do anything to help them. So I personally didn't want to risk it.
But wait, there's more
You can also have Gale cast as many Cleric buffs as your like that last until long rest and do not require his concentration:
Cleric Level 3 - Warding Bond, Aid, Protection from Poison
Cleric Level 7 - Freedom of Movement, Death Ward
Please note that while he can also gain access to Heroes' Feast at Cleric Level 11 the Thoroughly Stuffed condition will not remain once you remove Gale from your active party. I had Shadowheart casting this one after she unlocked it and then used the Spellcrux Amulet to restore her Level 6 spell slot.
I also ended up giving Gale 2 levels in Wizard in my playthrough, for both the narrative/roleplay reason of him still being a Wizard and also for the ability to learn spells from scrolls. After all, while this method does center around leaving Gale at camp for about 98% of the game, it doesn't hurt to have the ability to learn spells just in case.
Basically, my party had this Morning Ritual™ after every long rest:
Wake up, and add Gale to party.
Have Gale cast Cleric spells on the four (or more if you're using a party extender mod, but keep in mind that if you want the Honour Mode achievement + dice that you cannot have mods enabled for the playthrough) characters that you'll be using in the field.
When he runs out of spell slots before you're finished buffing everyone, remove him from your party and then hit him. No, really. Just give him a lil stab, smack, arrow to the knee, whatever feels right to you. He'll be fine.
Add him back to your party after he refreshes his health and spell slots (and snaps at you for hitting him) and continue casting the buffs on what will be your active party for the day.
Rinse and repeat as needed until you're ready to head out for the day.
The less fortunate way Gale can make your Honour Mode run easier
You probably knew I was getting to this eventually since it's a very popular method of skipping the final Netherbrain fight on Honour Mode: have Gale sacrifice himself to save the world.
Now, listen, Gale isn't my favorite character (he's honestly my least favorite - sorry Gale lovers who may be reading this), but of course I felt kinda bad not once disagreeing with the idea of him blowing himself up over the course of this playthrough. Obviously you do not have to go this route, but keep in mind that if you want to brave the Netherbrain you will lose any buffs given to you when you enter the Astral Prism with the Emperor and decide the fate of Orpheus, meaning the Warding Bond and leaving Gale at camp trick cannot work for the the final fights.
If you do decide to have Gale's Orb take care of the brain for you, here are a few tips since not everyone easily gets him to offer to execute this plan:
Stay on his friendly side - the higher the approval the better.
Don't pick dialogue options that sound heartless or uncaring, but don't try very hard to dissuade him from the idea of using the Orb after the Elminster conversation.
In Act 2, make sure you speak to Gale's magical projection when you see it at camp and agree to the invitation to speak privately with Gale (there is both a romance and friendship version of this scene so it will NOT mess up your romance with someone else to see the friendship version).
During the above scene where you sit with him under the stars and an aurora, be comforting but make sure to not talk him out of the idea of following through with using the Orb.
Even though this goes without saying if you're using the Warding Bond trick, do not take him with you to the Mind Flayer colony to fight Ketheric at the end of Act 2.
Don't progress his quest at all in Act 3 - don't get The Annals of Karsus from Sorcerous Sundries as it will trigger his desire to seize the crown for himself.
Don't take chances at the very end - give him some armor etc. before heading past the point-of-no-return with him in your party.
Bring a Potion of Angelic Slumber or two with you so that when you're in the Astral Prism you can have Gale cast some of the usual Cleric buffs, but remember that if you use Warding Bond he will no longer be automatically healing himself since he isn't at camp.
During the conversation with the Emperor regarding using the Netherstones, ask if you would be able to use the stones yourself if you became a Mind Flayer - Gale should then suggest that you speak privately, and he will get an ! above his head.
He will tell you that another method that avoids anyone needing to become a Mind Flayer is that he can sacrifice himself to stop the brain, so make sure to agree to this.
For The High Hall section of the end game, it's best to avoid as many confrontations as possible - going through the Upper City Sewers is a good method as you don't get too flooded with enemies down there, but still proceed with any fights cautiously.
After exiting the Sewers, all you need to do is get one party member, as long as everyone is grouped together, to the very top to trigger the rest of the party joining you up there at the area where you can climb the brainstem - I recommend using Invisibility and Flying through either potions or spells along with turn based mode to get someone to the top ASAP and avoid any confrontations with enemies.
When you go to interact with the brainstem, Gale should suggest that he teleport the rest of the party to safety before he climbs up alone to blow up the brain. You get a very dramatic cutscene of him doing this after you say your farewells.
And there you have it
This strategy is how Gale really pulled through for me and made navigating Honour Mode a lot easier. It still won't be a simple journey, don't be mistaken, but just the Warding Bond trick alone will certainly reduce the damage you take in battle.
Oh, and uh, you're going to go back to camp to find Gale standing in a puddle of blood as a result of all the redirected damage he'll be taking. The puddle will get bigger and bigger the more you're staying at a particular campsite. This is normal. It's fine. If it bothers you, you can always clean it up with a Destroy Water spell.
If you have any questions regarding this Gale strategy or about Honour Mode in general, feel free to comment, reblog, or send me an ask!
