Philippians 3:12 There may be blurry edges to my comprehending the full scope of resurrection life beyond the grave; but I pursue the complete conclusion of co-comprehending and fully grasping exactly that which Jesus Christ knew all along about me when he died my death; and to see me in his faith where I am so perfectly included when he rescued and raised me out of the grasp of death!

A true mark of a believers maturity is found in complete and utter contentment. I have had to learn to be patient in all aspects of the life I now live in Christ.

When facing trials of various kinds, I remain joyful and when I experience victory, I remain joyful. In other words, no matter what I face, my joy remains constant and this because of who Jesus is and who I now am in Him.

Friend, we need to learn and understand, contentment is not found in what comforts we have, but rather because our lives are now hidden in Him.

Be happy, don't worry, Jesus is Lord!

The grabbing ‘self reliance’ of control and worry brings torment at many levels.

Faith rests in the arms of love. Faith listens to the voice and the promises of Faithful Love, even in the midst of dark, broken and hard circumstances.

Love believes all things and hopes all things…

Love raises the human heart…

Love brightens any darkness…

Love comforts any fear…

Love enriches the poorest of men…

Love shines in the darkness…

Holding Grace and Truth brings peace to our storms, calms our fears, and comforts our hearts.

Trouble, hardship, brokenness, peril, injustice, debt, dirt and death…

Nothing can stop the power of Love to bring New Life.

God allowed Lazarus to die.

Jesus waited four days to go to the problem. Jesus, led by God the Father, allowed the darkness of death and the burying of a loved one to happen…

Why?

Why allow that level of darkness?… That level of sadness?… That level of loss?… That level of brokenness?

Why?

God allowed such deep loss so that Jesus might taste the deep sadness of loss. Jesus wept. And so the compassion and power of God could be manifested in the midst of this deep darkness and despair.

God validated His Word and His Son in front of that crowd of mourners that day. Even death had no power over His Word.

What kind of death clothes are you wrapped in? How grave does your circumstance feel? How dark and sealed does the tomb of your situation feel?

Does it feel that God has forsaken you in this death?

The LORD of love and LIFE sometimes waits, and allows utter darkness, dirt, debt and death…

Love, the light of the world, sometimes waits to demonstrate His greatest miracles.

It can be fairly easy to trust God with our life when things are going good. It’s when things start going bad and there is trouble, tribulation, affliction and suffering that most of our faith begins to waiver.

The LORD asked me, “Do you trust me in your death?”

This is a striking question and is truly the ultimate question of wether we truly trust God with our life.

To truly trust God in the pain of loss… the pain of suffering… and of dying to self… the actual death process… is to truly trust God.

When everything darkens, like Lazarus, and whatever mechanism, blacksmith or fire, bears down on our metal… God forges through the flame of trials, afflictions and tribulations.

Darkness is just the backdrop and soil for God’s resurrection LIFE and POWER and should never be considered a threat for those in Christ Jesus.

I hear Jesus ask, “Do you trust Me to do a beautiful thing, even in your darkest circumstance?”

Someone needs to hear this…

Our disappointments, our defeats, our times of disillusionment, do not separate us from Christ. #godwillworkitout

What if DISAPPOINTMENT is really the exact appointment your soul needs to radically encounter God? #godhasaplan

Many times, disappointments come in order to teach us more about the depths of God’s love. #trustinthelord

God uses disappointments, delays, setbacks and detours to move us into our purpose. #godsplan

Sometimes what we think is a DISAPPOINTMENT is God working behind the scenes protecting us from that situation.

Trust and believe, He will always come through for you with another opportunity and catapult you with something more significant and fulfilling. #godsplansarebetter

The delays, the detours, the disappointments didn't stop God's plan. #divineappointments

Don’t allow DISAPPOINTMENT to steer you away from God. #godsplanisperfectis just leading you to your DIVINE APPOINTMENT. #divineappointment
