Life had always been good on the Ubuyashiki Farms. Kagaya Ubuyashiki and his wife Amane were the owners of Ubuyashiki Farms, a hybrid farm

Ubuyashiki farms were mostly well known for their wine, jams, dairy and apple products

Many different hybrids lived here and helped the family out by providing them with things like wool, milk, eggs, etc

Many of the male hybrids helped out in the fields, planting and helping care for the grapes, and various berry plants, while the females helped in the apple orchards

Among the hybrids was the Uzui herd. This herd consisted of Tengen Uzui, the stud bull, and his three female cows, Suma, Makio and Hinatsuru

His wives spent a lot of time helping out in the orchards and helping with the production of wine and jams whilst he spent his time helping with the more heavy duty stuff like manual labor

The hybrids are treated well and highly respect the Ubuyashiki family, since they respect them and treat them so well

Tengen and his girls or wives as he call them, have their own little barn that they sleep in, as do all the hybrids

One day, Kagaya called Tengen over and told him that a new hybrid would be arriving at the farm and that he wanted Tengen to help them get settled in

Tengen agreed to help the newcomer get settled, but he was surprised to hear that the new arrival was a hybrid hybrid

To be specific, they were the offspring of a cow and sheep hybrid, meaning they’d produce wool and milk

Such hybrids were rare and Uzui was excited to see one, and he wasn’t disappointed

You arrived on the farm around midday and you were very skittish, and easily spooked

When Tengen went to greet you, you yelped and tried to hide behind the truck that brought you there

You peeked out at him and were extremely nervous but Kagaya came to the rescue

Kagaya introduced himself as well as his wife and welcomed you to the farm

You sheepishly accepted his welcome and you followed Tengen as he showed you around the farm

The previous farm you came from wasn’t able to properly provide care for you since it wasn’t a hybrid based farm

Your wool is of high quality and you spend a lot of time caring for it and grooming it. You also have horns that you have to maintain and shape with special tools that way they don’t grow too long

Eventually you met Tengen’s wives who thought you were just the cutest with your soft fluffy wool

You’ve since become a part of the Uzui herd

Suma loves snuggling with you and cuddling into your wool

Hinatsuru helps you with grooming the wool you can’t reach and helps you care for it

Makio helps you before and after you get sheared, since you get hot and cold easily. And she helps you sand down your horns

Tengen is the one who shears you, he trims up places like between your legs and trims the fur on your ears before shearing your wool off in one big fleece

You’ve come to trust Tengen and since he’s so much larger than you, it’s easier for him to shear you

After you’ve been sheared, Tengen and his wives will cuddle with you at night to help keep you warm with the absence of your wool

Tengen will wrap you in a blanket if you need it and he’ll snuggle you

You’ve taken to working in the winery and you help make jams. You tend to do more indoor work due to your difficulty with handling temperatures

Tengen is also the one who milks all four of you, he does it by hand since the machines scare both you and Suma

When it comes time to breed you, Tengen makes sure to be through with each of his wives and you

Sadly due to the fact that your a mixed hybrid, you’re infertile, but Tengen still breeds with you since it helps with your milk production due to the stimulation and hormones from breeding

Tengen makes sure to look after the four of you and makes sure that each of you are eating and are healthy

When it comes to nighttime, he makes sure that the barn is secure before he returns to the cuddle puddle, as you and Suma call your guys’s bed

A business is performed by a company. The Company is what God and the Angels call themselves and the industry they are in is called printing. The story they have written is also an instruction manual for something called A. A...for Adam! Adam and his apple!

Adam gets his apples because he is what is called a Shunammite, AKA differentiation. He is a character that changes as he climbs over walls which are synthetic partitions between object lessons called orchards, which farm fruits.

Fruits can be reached when walls are scaled, breached, or if they fall from trees growing on the other side. Once one imbibes the fruit of an object lesson one is never the same.

The first fruit of the Tree of Eden called Es, caused Adam to start undergoing his transformation, and ours. Each entity in the Torah and Tanakh adds to Adam's capabilities like a grape is added to a bunch, a process that is called Eshkol in Hebrew.

Eshkol is how a man grew up from a creature that was once naked and scratched in the earth into one capable of inciting a global revolution called the Mashiach.

A Shunammite understands how to move between walls and separate fruits from seeds, pulp from the skins, press oil from pits, leave behind what is repugnant about the process of growing up, retain what is majestic and enter the Village of Mankind:

a few delicate lip smacks, little popping bubbles, sealing in the pattern of hers that toji knew how to draw even in his sleep. “i kinda want some juicy fruits now.”

and there it was, he was in for it now.

toji groaned, and wrung the rag with fervor. “oh baby, the shops are going to close now. there’ll be no good fruits left.”

she sputtered an unintelligible noise that was unequivocally hers. “But, but!” As if her cravings could somehow bend the rules of time and space, and open up the doors of the store just for her.

“we’ll get some juicy fruits tomorrow, how about that?”

and toji could feel that big dopey heart of hers crack just a little, her taste buds crying into a fit of not having their – her – cravings satisfied at that very moment.

“you promise?” she mumbled, throwing her phone somewhere in between the rolling hills of the throw, and crossed her arms over the sofa to look up at him.

look up at him with those big, beautiful eyes that were a book to her soul; an instruction manual on how to build together the entirety that was her. those eyes of hers, melting all the hard edges of him into something softer, more malleable.

dammit.

he is toji fushiguro after all, procurer of all the weird and wonderful things of his sweetheart’s passing whims.

toji sighed deeply, giving her a pointed look as he strode over to her and held both sides of her face, planting a well-earned kiss on her forehead. “i promise, sweets.”

the next morning, at precisely 9:37 a.m., she woke up to find no wonderfully warm embrace from her big, burly man. she frowned, patting the immediate vicinity of the bed with her eyes closed. when that didn’t somehow magically make toji appear, she cracked open her eyes like a teapot lid and heard the rustling of plastic bags somewhere in the apartment.

“right. ok, ow! fuck sa-!”

“toji?”

the scuffling stopped, as if she wasn’t supposed to hear whatever toji was up to. she got out of bed, placed her slippers on her feet, and went out at once to investigate. what she certainly didn’t expect to see was toji grappling with a pineapple, and an array of brightly colored fruits on the countertop like a feast of rainbows.

mangos, oranges.

strawberries, peaches.

grapes, grapefruits.

raspberries, blackberries.

even pink and yellow dragonfruits! she couldn’t even recall ever trying one of those before.

her heart melted into tiny teeny snowflakes as she licked her lips; the craving in her brain sent signals for her mouth to prepare to eat, and eat well.

“sorry, did i wake you up?” toji grumbled, glaring daggers at the prickly fruit he was gripping. “this stupid thing. i should have just paid for precut pieces, but i thought it was a waste of money.”

“wha- did you wake up early to get all this?”

“uh, yeah. the fruits would be freshest first thing in the mornin, right?”

she giggled, and he barely had time to turn around before her arms were wrapped around his midriff, her face buried in the dip of his back.

“you’re the sweetest, most juciest fruit i could ever find,” she said, as if that was the most sensible thing in the whole world to say.

the tips of toji’s ears turned a shade of strawberry red, and he mumbled something along the lines of, “yeah, yeah, you’re my sweet fruit too. you wanna help me cut this damn thing?”

Jevijoe in Tbilisi, Day 21

In the morning, I went to the yoga class that focuses on energy flow, a different type of yoga in which the stomach is the main concern and the instructor emphasizes that the stomach, like our second brain, is an independent thinker. Most of the postures we have done were about how to increase blood flow to our digestive system to combat stress and anxiety.

Then I headed to Gold Market, a shopping center offering a diverse selection of jewelry. Here I met Tamara Khoshtari, an accomplished contemporary jewelry designer. She used to live in New York and was well-traveled. She guided me into the world of jewelry making, and together we explored the silversmith's workshop spaces located underground in the gold market building. I had my first-hand experience witnessing jewelry design and making; the process is similar to casting a sculpture, but on a small and intimate scale. I was beginning to love the process of making it, from the designing using a 3D computer app and 3D printing to the actual fabrication, which is a lot of manual labor and refining. I felt like this would be my second career in the future!

I visited Tamara's studio, which was located in the main central area of Tbilisi, and told her that I was familiar with the area as I watched a documentary on YouTube about the Georgian civil war in the 1990s, where the area was a war zone and many buildings were destroyed by heavy artillery. We chat briefly about that horrific phase in the history of modern Georgia, in which her family was deeply affected.

Tamara offered me homemade wine, and I was fascinated by homemade wine, which is common here since a lot of residential homes in the city have grapevine backyards. She suggested I visit Tbilisi in different seasons between September and October to witness grapes growing and harvesting. I would really love to visit the city again soon!

After my productive adventure on jewelry making, I attended the event called Brainwashed: Sex-Camera-Power, organized by Doca Film Club and held at Amirani Cinema. It was a film showing the politics of cinematic shots and how mostly Hollywood movies frame the female body, followed by a group discussion.
