I think we all treat @loudclan-clangen ‘s Eklutna like a malevolent villian when she’s more of the ill fated religious fanatic in every Stephen King story. (Mist AU where Eklutna turns a grocery story into a cult lol)

running east to west southwest, the Suneater River winds through a serpentine canyon that splits the lower section of Hound Flats and makes up the primary territory claimed by Torrentclan.

the river goes underground somewhat further west and south, through the gaping hallowed terminus known as The Maw. 

an expedition visited the Maw for a routine check in the final days of Stormstar's leadership.
