#when they first meet Habit asks why Vinnie would come to HIM out of everyone#Vinnie could've gone for the rake who knows Vinnie's true intentions but Vinnie couldn't risk that#the rake is far too loyal to Slenderman too and Vinnie wants to get as far away as possible#slenderman doesn't talk to him#habit will#AND YOU KNOW WHAT HABIT SAYS?? he tells Vinnie he's FUNNY. THAT HIS OTHER FRIENDS DONT SHARE HIS HUMOR BUT VINNIE... VINNIE DOES#he tells Vinnie he RESPECTS HIM he thinks he's BRAVE#which habit only continues to voice these opinions the entire series#telling Jeff that Vinnie was a leader. that he thought Vinnie was smart and clever. that he is the key to everything#all while telling Vinnie that he CAN'T leave#He will DIE without habit. when infact the opposite is true. without Vinnie habit has nothing#he's desperate to hold onto the one thing he's always wanted. companionship.#they both yearn for a partner that understands them and forgives them for the evil they do#Vinnie takes pride in being the one thing Habit cannot kill. While he'd much prefer to die he can't lie the feeling of being special really#makes him feel good#they can find solace in each others violence. in the fact that they're so willing to tear the world apart just to come out ontop.#There has never been a life where Vinnie hasn't found some sort of comfort in habit#you could argue Princeton but habit had to get him to make the tool we see in the day the world ended#Vinnie is building a bond with habit always.#idk something about habit being the only character to ever actually see through Vinnie's facade and COVERING FOR HIM#it's something else#Habit can't handle it and he immediately gets aggressive and violent because he's so used to being brushed off#Vinnie wants to devote himself to him#he wants to be the hero with Habit#isn't that fucked up?#he wants Habit to be a hero#anyways.#I miss them#vinbit#🐍 ⦻
