ALSO what was with the coin and then when Ruby runs into Conrad after the podcast and he picks up a poster that very obviously says "lucky day" and then is never mentioned again and has no ties to the story????

PERHAPS THE BIGGEST SCREAMING YOU'VE EVER HEARD FOR THE REALITY WAR 🦴✨
gigantic huge impossible spoilers (INCLUDING OUR NEW DOCTOR) for Doctor Who series 2 episode 8 The Reality War. i'm sure you're seeing them all over the place now, but this is far more in depth, so hold onto your hats:
OKAY. i KNOW there is so much division on this episode right now, but you know what?? i really, really fucking enjoyed it. after Empire of Death and some really bizarre writing across all of Fifteen's seasons i had huge reservations about Russell's ability to pull this off, but The Reality War gave me so many things i wanted to see: the Rani acting as her meticulous, cold, scientific self. answers as to who Poppy is. a 'resolution' to the fantasy-oriented seasons of Doctor Who with a conclusion to everything with the Pantheon (i think??). the return of Anita. that lovely interaction with Thirteen, and of course a beautiful send off to Fifteen too...
AND BILLIE PIPER AS SIXTEEN OH MY GOD I CAN'T BELIEVE THE RUMOURS WERE TRUE SOMEONE HOLD ME 😭😭😭😭😭😭💖💖💖💖💖
i watched both Wish World and The Reality War in the cinema, and while i was really not a fan of Wish World when it aired...it hits so much better as part of a double-feature where we have some pay-off to the Doctor not being himself for most of the episode as well as all the bizarre fantastical shenanigans the Rani was playing with. i am devastated that she got eaten by Omega, but it was also incredibly funny and i'm so interested to see how Mrs Flood will take over the mantle as quite a different kind of Rani (if she's still alive?! did she collapse with the wish???) 👀 the big thing that folks don't seem to like is Belinda's sudden move into being a mother, and honestly, i agree: but i think it's because this plot line was clearly intended for Ruby. this episode looks to confirm that Millie Gibson left rather suddenly as a main companion, and the parallels between Ruby and Belinda were deliberate, but Belinda was never given a reason to be so maternally invested. Ruby, as an orphan and a foundling with such a complex over her birth mother and mothers in general...it would have made more sense, but honestly i was having so much fun with this episode i don't even care 🙈💖 Fifteen was just a powerhouse in this ep. the chemistry between Fifteen and Anita was still unbelievable. Conrad's mommy issues with the Rani were fantastic. it felt so gratifying to see Susan and Rose and Mel and Kate and Colonel Ibrahim and sooo many others work together against something that had real stakes!!! okay yes i do think Omega looked goofy as fuck, but i ready for that, and expecting him to be quickly dispatched like the other Pantheon members (AND WE GOT A LUX IMPERATOR SHOUT-OUT BABEYYYYYYY) i can't describe to you how tense that last half-hour was in the cinema. the slow, horrifying realisation that Ruby had the correct memory and no one else knew. and then, all hell broke fucking lose when we saw Billie Piper's face. not just Billie Piper's face: it's specifically Rose Tyler's face: same hair, same eyebrows. for one second, i really thought it was some bigger Pantheon trick!! who knows, perhaps that's still on the table: if it's canon that Fourteen's face was a result of the Toymaker's trickery, there's no reason that Sixteen's face will remain the same.... and you know what? i am so fucking here for Billie Piper!Doctor. i am here for all of the emotional angst and turmoil that's going to happen for the Doctor regenerating into her lost love's face. jesus christ, fanfic writers, you are EATING!!!!!!! i kind of love the idea of the Sixteenth Doctor wrestling with her appearance at first, and then making it her own (Billie's been rocking the ginger look recently: wouldn't that be something? 👀) the little version of me who grew up with Rose Tyler is filled with so much glee, and i don't care if people are mad, this is AWESOME!!!! welcome Sixteenth Doctor!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰 god, i'm so heartbroken to see Ncuti go. i've grown so fond of Fifteen and his mad, lovely smile...!! i do wish we'd gotten more time with him, but the time we did get was fabulous. certainly his seasons are going to be remembered for being such a fun and experimental era of Doctor Who 💖💖💖 i hope Ncuti knows he'll always have a place in our hearts as the Doctor!!! yeah, i'm just. adrenaline is through the roof. so, so curious to hear how all you other Whovians are reacting 👀

hi!
love your recent reblog were you said that sam is attracted to someone that could pass as a female version of dean (again) and its so funny to me because bela actually sees dean as a mirror to her, shes always all 'takes one to know one' with dean and even if its bela the one that is the parallel because the show has dean as a main character, bela is the one that keeps reminding dean that they ARE the same person and she doesnt dean or the viewer forget it during the whole ep
"your daddy dont give you enough" "dont you dare look down your nose at me, you are no better than i am" and also the whole conversation where bela tells him that they are going to hell, where dean tries to be the 'positive' thinking while bela is just trying on her own way to not let her fear of going to hell show and thats something dean also does.
i just wanted to come here and rant a little because it wouldnt leave me alone, sorry for the bad english.
yes! the resemblance between dean and bela is def not only appearance-wise, but i was poking fun at that in reference to how much jess and dean look alike.
i actually go absolutely feral for the bela and dean parallels, they're mirrors, and i find that writing choice very interesting considering the story behind bela's deal: dean who sold his soul for his family, vs. bela who sold hers to escape her own, that, besides the obvious and more disturbing implication behind bela getting sexually abused by her father. on the less grim side, the contrast between their values make their dynamic very fun.
the thing that i really love about sam's history with attraction to women who look like dean (jess) or act like him (ruby) is that sam's attraction to bela is based on pure physicality, he's not at all fond of her personality, and so we don't get any romantic or mutual tension between them, just a wet dream scene. meanwhile with jessica, sam's first long-term relationship, she's more similar to dean behavior-wise than the fandom considers; sure, she isn't a classic rock fan or wears a leather jacket and drives a muscle car, and her and dean's shared love for the smurfs is played off as a joke, but she is protective of sam, she's a fun girl and likes to feel sexy, she wants sam to go out and have fun at the bar with her, and has some domestic qualities and seems to like taking care of sam. i can't help but see a lot of dean in the bit of jessica we've seen.
for me, this makes samjess's relationship far more interesting and incest-coded than we realized, not to mention how samjess is also paralleled in a way to johndean. maybe it's not something the writers intended, but once you see it you can't unsee it. there's also another great post about dean/jess and sam/cassie parallels, and another one about bela and jessica looking like dean etc.
i could talk about this for hours, but i'm gonna stop here. thank you for sharing your thoughts! and don't worry, your english is great!

Thoughts on season 4? (It’s my fav season and i love talking abt it cuz boy there is SO much to unpack here)
You are correct, there is Sooo much to unpack abt season four, so I'll go over a few of my favorite topics (These are all my opinions!) :) [sorry in advance for rambling]
So season four has so many topics, from angels to dean rising from hell to Sam's addiction to ruby, there is so much to go over! I'm going to start with the angels
my thoughts on angels are very limited, seeing as I didn't pay much attention to them. But I guess we'll start with castiel. The first we see (or hear) of castiel is when he burns Pamela's eyes out. It shows how powerful he is, and made me wonder whether he was good or not (when I first watched it). Castiel's entrance on the show is probably one of the coolest entrances (besides Death's entrance in season 5), and the shadows of his wings were super cool.
Alright now Sam himself. Sam saw his brother, his soulmate, his best friend, get mauled by hellhounds and deep down we know he blamed himself for not being able to save his brother. As we saw, before Sam met Ruby again he was drinking himself to death and was probably going to either kill himself or get himself killed. Ruby saved his life. Their relationship is so strange, because it actually isn't obvious that ruby is evil. She played the good guy, and did it damn smart. She manipulated sam, being kind to him and being a support system (not to mention giving him demon blood). Even though I hate ruby she was pretty badass. She got him to trust her, slowly, and became a support system/friend that he needed. Even though she was just playing Sam so he would raise lucifer, I feel that she did care about him a tiny bit. In Lucifer Rising, after Sam killed lilith and found out ruby was evil, she was comforting him and when Sam helped dean kill her she honestly looked surprised.
Now Sam's powers. They were always a fascination to me and I am so upset they didn't go anywhere with them. Especially with the relevation from ruby that Sam "didn't need the feather to fly", basically saying that he didn't need the demon blood to use his powers. I loved seeing a darker side of Sam, it was very interesting to watch. The scene where Sam saved Castiel and killed Alistair is probably one of my favorite scenes of Sam. The fact that castiel believed Sam when he told the angel that demons weren't killing angels was a big step in their friendship. Castiel trusted Sam, and I'm sure he knew that Sam saved his life from Alistair
One parallel that I noticed was in ep 21 or 22, when Dean told Sam "if you walk out that door, don't come back". John also told that to Sam when he left for stanford. This scene was powerful, and really showed how dean and john are similar or had parallels. John was abusive (maybe not physically but definitly emotionally) and so was Dean. (Though dean does actually get physically abusive later, like how he beats soulless Sam unconsious when Sam tells him he needs help. But that's a conversation for another time) when Dean said "if I didn't know you I would want to hunt you", he should have been trying to help Sam instead of hurting him and pushing him away. Yes, Sam did do some things wrong, I'm not saying he didn't, but Dean really didnt go about handling Sam the right way. You can tell I episode Lucifer Rising that after Sam realizes that he let lucifer out he feels really bad. And not to mention the fake voice-mail he got from dean, telling him he's a monster and a vampire, that really didn't help. I don't know if dean ever learned that the voice-mail was changed, but I feel really bad for Sam. And knowing sam, I'm sure he kept it.
Another thing I want to discuss is Sam's addiction to the demon blood and how they (the writers and dean) addressed it. First off, the way they (Dean and bobby) locked him in the panic room and left him alone, in pain halucinating and dying was so wrong. And how they focused on dean suffering, how he "couldn't listen to Sam's pain", (just another proof of the writers paying more attention to dean than Sam. -my opinion though.) They focused more on Dean instead of Sam who was literally going through withdrawal alone.
One more thing! did Sam ever learn that castiel was the one who let him out of the panic room to kill lilith? Yes I understand Cas was under orders and everything, but Cas letting Sam out was a huge reason lucifer was let out. Just thought I'd mention that
Okay I didn't go over everything and I rambled a lot :D thanks for the ask, it led me to watch a few episodes over again, I honestly forgot how good season four is :)

I got an ask for Qrow Branwen so here it comes !
My fav ship(s) for the character
I think my favorite ships for Qrow are Cloqwork and Fair Game ! Cloqwork lacked screentime in terms of canon content of course, but I love the potential here. I also have a things for shipping the sad men together xD There are a lot of REALLY great Cloqwork fanfics out there and I love seeing people write about these two <3 It's in the details but I think there's something interesting here. With Qrow who is convinced to be a curse, who came from such a harsh background... And with Ozpin who is so convinced of humanity's inherent goodness and that anyone deserves a chance. At the same time they're both very complicated people who I think would interact in cool ways. Ozpin is wise but does have a mischievous streak that I think also helped in making them both get along. Qrow is much more perceptive than he appears and that's also good for dealing with someone as secretive as Ozpin.
Fair Game also had a very good start ! The relationship was admittedly a bit tilted toward Qrow's recovery in the show, but they were nice to see together. Clover was perceptive & caring as well as patient. All great qualities for a relationship with Qrow, who has a hard time breaking down his walls and a shot mental health. At the same time, Atlas is very professional, straight-to-the-point and I think Qrow is a real breath of fresh hair in that environment. He brings a different viewpoint to the table, he's very loyal & caring and it's clear that his sass amused Clover greatly. We didn't get to learn enough about him, but Clover's VA hinted that Clover's trust was a fragile thing and he wasn't a fan of showing vulnerability. Qrow, who gives everything he has in all his relationships, would have been a great balm for that uncertainty. So yeah !
My least favorite ship(s) for the character
There are, of course, any & all ships between Qrow & the kids or Qrow & Salem's team. But outside of these obvious "nope", I'll have to go with Jailbirds. This is COMPLETELY personal but I have a really hard time liking Robyn's character as of V7 end/V8 so I'm barely interested in her dynamic with Qrow. I did appreciate her talking down Qrow from revenge because he was only doing it for his own sake but... That's about it. I find her way too abrasive (hidden behind her shiny Robinhood looks). And whereas Clover (imo) was pretty good at getting Qrow to face his issus head-on & building him up, I feel like Robyn relies more on humour & deflection... Which is an art Qrow is already acquainted with, and not the best coping mechanism for him. Aaaand I just feel like she put Clover down several time in order to lift Qrow up. That, plus the queerbaiting controversy, plus her having indirectly participated to Clover's death... The ship makes me a bit uncomfortable.
My fav & least fav platonic relationship(s) for the character
My fav platonic relationship for Qrow is his bond with Ruby ! I really hope they bring it back because these two were GREAT together. Ruby's admiration was adorable. Qrow's nonchalent but clearly protective streak. They care about each other A LOT and I really loved them together. I hope they can have more moments together like back in V3-V4 or V6.
I'm not sure what my least liked platonic relationship would be. Saying Robyn again feels like beating on a dead horse but I don't really have a problem with any other ones. They're all, if not kind & good for him, at least interesting (like Raven)
My favorite thing about the character
The combination of his sassy/cynic personnality and how loyal & caring of a person he actually he is. Qrow is rough around the edges, leans easily into banter but he cares so damn much. He fit so easily next to Ruby's peppy enthusiasm in Vol 1-3, and then he was just an incredible badass and yet so damn vulnerable human in Vol 4-6. I liked that about him. How all the pieces fit together
My biggest criticism for the character
Well I have 2 things to say about that. First : V7C12 With Friends like these. What the fuck was this episode qkfazkfhkgh Qrow's brain was nerfed SO DAMN HARD, I was genuinely pissed while watching the episode. This was just a string of dumb decisions from everyone except Tyrian. But I digress -
In a more general sense, I'd say... putting Qrow in the sidelines. Him falling further into depression was a sound decision. It was interesting and fitting of his character imo. But I feel like they tied "Ruby having enough of his alcooholism" and "Ruby growing away from adults" in a way that kind of.... just put Qrow to the side and doesn't allow him to do much. In V6 finale, Qrow expresses understandable concerns about their plan to steal an airship, but instead of dealing with that Ruby's frustration with his cynicism is aired out and... the timing kind of makes the whole thing weird becaus Qrow isn't allowed to disagree with their plan ("we'll do it with you or without you") and then has to trust Ruby and let her go which AGAIN is a great moment in itself. But all that put together just like... rid Qrow of his function as a parental figure because Ruby is the leader now and he's just... kind of following along.
When was their writing at the peak according to me (ex : best season)
Okay for this one Q, I'll have to go with Vol 4 and Vol 6 for very different reasons. V4 was great because we really got to get to know Qrow. His complicated relationship with Raven. How BADASS his encounter with Tyrian was I freaking loved it. What his semblance and how it shaped his life. And it also let him be vulnerable through the poison & seeing Ruby repay his care was very nice.
Vol 6 for fleshing out, taking his issues & drinking more seriously. Showing more hopelesness and cynicism, and that he had a real drinking problem and he wasn't just a fun drunk. Plus the loss of faith in Oz showed how much Qrow needs stability and secure certainties to orbit around despite his nonchalant personnality. But I like it a bit less because it was the starting point of putting him on the side kind of.
A song I think fits them & why
Ship in a Bottle (Steffan Argus) ➸ A song about being alone in your fight, in the sense that your life is like a sail on the ocean and you are the only captain, the only one who can choose what to do with it. At the same time, there are several mentions of a "captain" as if the singer/Qrow adresses someone else. It's reminiscent of his relation with Ozpin or Clover : speaking of a deal, of being honest and sharing what's on your mind. Qrow thinks too much, he's scared and he sinks more & more as he delves into his cynicism (V6). Qrow cries, things get worse, the mention of the glass echoes his struggle with alcooholism. And the Scarewrow loses his brain, "lose touch with all the things that made [him] feel sane."
+ Problem child (Simple Plan) The Star song (Amanda Palmer) Would anyone care (Citizen Soldier) Wasted (8 Graves)
A headcanon to make up about them
Qrow didn't have the most normal childhood and because of that he had to learn a lot for Ruby & Yang. Notably, Qrow had absolutely 0 notion of what was an appropriate presents for young girls. As a result, he tended to simply bring back from his travels whatever shiny thing might have caught his attention. Could be a weird flower. Could be a pretty knife. Or even junk that his corvid brain latched upon.
Tai designed a look(Tm) that Qrow learned to recognize as "No, not appropriate." After a while, Yang learned to mimick it (but rather at random, she didn't really recognze what was appropriate and what wasn't). Ruby always liked his presents though.
What I would change about them if I was making a re-write
I CLEARLY would rewrite V7C12 so that Qrow & Clover keep their brains kzjhfkqhzk There were ways to reach the same conclusion without like... having a Qrow-Tyran team-up which was REALLY weird
I see 2 main possibilities to stick close to canon content - After the crash, Tyrian gets free but he keeps playing dead for a bit. Since there is no 3rd menace, Clover and Qrow's argument devolve into a fight as seen in canon. At one point, Clover manages to briefly disarm Qrow. They discuss for a bit, you can even put the exact same dialog as in the ep. Then Tyrian takes action, moving out of the shadows to kill Clover with Qrow's discarded weapon. Braincells saved. OR - Instead of having Qrow & Tyrian outright team up, Tyrian just... keeps instillating doubts in their mind. Qrow & Clover are temporarily allies in taking Tyrian down but because of this, they don't TRUST each other which cause missteps and make them less effective. At one point, Qrow tries to attack Tyrian who is behind Clover. But because neither Qrow nor Clover really have faith in the other at that moment (and because Tyrian is poisonning their mind), Clover automatically steps back or aside. He doesn't entirely trust Qrow. Because of this small hesitation, Qrow's attack fails. Tyrian manages to disarm him. Tyrian uses Qrow's weapon to kill Clover. There could even be some message here about the lack of Trust & letting Salem divide friends... something of that caliber in any case 🤔 It can even parallel V3 where Qrow did the same thing with Ironwood & Ironwood refused to stand aside even if he thought Qrow meant to attack him... Could lead somewhere ! Like, in V3 Qrow had faith that Ironwood wasn't to blame. Only Ironwood feared that Qrow blamed him, but Qrow knew & trusted that Ironwood wasn't to blame. In other words, Salem didn't divide them. Here, Qrow & Clover let Tyrian get into their head. And as a result Clover dies. "Together we stand, Divided we fall"
My guess for their MBTI/Enneagram
I'm still mulling on it right now but I think he might be some kind of ISTP 416. He has some weird 7ish behaviour but his need to orbit around someone/a goal, his relationship with Oz, how close he stuck to Tai & Summer sounds closer to 6 fix. He wants people to go home to. Certainty and security. His independance definitely is there but seems emphasized moreso out of necessity.
One aspect that I think would be nice to delve deeper into ? (optional)
I'm not sure mhmmm maybe his relationship with Summer ? It would be both cute & interesting. As well as finally giving us insight into who Summer was

hey! i was just wondering if you think spn will actually make destiel canon by the finale? it seems like in interviews they're trying to let us down gently w/a cas death (which possibly makes it seem like cas's ending might be related to his empty deal?) + all the parallels between saileen and deancas, and it looks like dabb and co (while not rly bringing arcs into conclusion and generally making a mess of spn) are fighting to make it canon, i was wondering what ur take on it was, esp after ep09
Oh, my dear, my heart is swelling with love for those two right now. I just watched the show through from 12x19-15x13 and I swear, that moment they share in 15x12, clinking those glasses and sharing all those smiles was like balm. It’s not even five minutes of screen time, and still it was like, okay, yes, good, thank you for the room to breathe. :D
It seems to be that Cas hearing Dean’s prayer has ushered in some much earned peace between them. They’re shown to be on the same page and taking each other’s side unquestionably. Dean trusting Cas’ judgment regarding Jack without pause. And that’s a good word for it: there’s trust between them, mutual respect, understanding. It’s so lovely, isn’t it?
So, there’s this line that’s sort of stuck with me. Actually, there are two things that have stuck with me (apart from all the gorgeous symbology baked into every episode) and it’s that the word “complete has been mentioned twice.
Once in reference to Mary in Heaven, and once by Amara in reference to God.
Then we have a line that’s recurred twice: I had to die to get what I want.
The fact that its spoken verbatim twice made my antennas perk up a bit. It may mean nothing, as some things in this narrative sometimes do mean nothing, but it’s still interesting to take these things into account: that we’re searching for completion and that sometimes, in order to get what you want, you have to die.
So. Will Cas die?
I don’t think so. I don’t think so for many reasons that I’ve laid out here (I just posted this) (it was like you read my mind that this was coming today), but foremost because I cannot see how him dying does anything for his character arc, or for his joint journey with Dean.
You know, dark!Kaia (Kaia’s Shadow) going back to the Bad Place (Kaia’s unconscious) and accepting the ending waiting there, releasing our!Kaia back to the world where she belongs, makes me think, more than ever, that the integration of the main character’s Shadows are a necessity.
The Empty, way I see it, is representative of Cas’ Shadow, his unconscious, all the repressed and suppressed emotions of guilt, shame and doubt that has kept his self-worth down until Jack came on the scene.
And this is just my reading of this situation, but I’m not sure I can see Cas defeating the Empty in the Empty, if you know what I mean? The last time Cas intruded, the Empty made him suffer greatly. I don’t think Cas holds any sway there, nor should he.
To me, the weapon our conscious has against our unconscious ruling our decisions, is our ability to grow aware of our own impulses, our own thought patterns, and making choices to break away from them.
I think Cas can only beat the Empty through making a choice and, well, for a long time I’ve felt that choice should be to become human, because by making a final choice of who he is and who he wants to be, he brings himself into awareness, integrating his Shadow in the process, and narratively nullifying the Empty’s hold on him, since humans don’t go to the Empty when they die: they go to Heaven.
But that’s wishing and hoping and speculation, of course.
Here’s where the Destiel question comes in though.
Do I believe they’ll make it canon?
Personally, I can’t think of anything more a part of our story than the love story between those two, but I know what you mean. You mean a representative, tangible, clear, statement type of making it canon. Textualising it, so that there’s no room for doubt whatsoever. No more arguments, no more queer baiting complaints, just Destiel in plain sight. Undeniable.
I do and I don’t.
Watching these last few seasons through again made me realise what a different feel to them this last season has, because the emotional stakes for Dean and Cas have everything to do with what they mean to each other. Yeah?
Dean taking his anger out on Cas and it pushing Cas into a turning point where he chose to leave, to move on, which was a moment of clear independence a statement of his sense of self-worth, and it in turn pushing Dean into a turning point where he faced a side to himself that he’s needed to name since forever, admitting to not having any control of himself, which is something he has to acknowledge if he’s to move into trusting himself fully, all of this has been gosh darn breathtaking to get to witness.
And having them land back in this ease, where they work together seamlessly as a team, being kept together more than not, the framing of them, all of this makes me feel like they could give us canon Destiel. I’m not going to say they absolutely won’t.
I believe the writers want it. I believe the actors want it. But, again, that’s just what I take from the narrative itself, because the subtext is stronger than ever this final season.
Especially with Sam and Eileen being reunited.
Because it’s been that clear parallel you mentioned, but it’s been that clear parallel to those of us who see it. The echoes of the Saileen romance that trace through the Destiel progression won’t be as resounding to those that don’t.
And because of that, at this point, I also feel quite reserved with my belief that Destiel could become canon. Because there’s so much, but there’s also nothing. There’s so much for us to enjoy, there’s so much evidence they keep throwing at us that the writers support this reading of their story, but still, there’s nothing, really, to let on that they’re building towards these two men, at some point, declaring their love for each other.
There has been zero textual foreshadowing of that.
There have been throw away moments, like the cop flirting with Dean, for example, but he frowned at that, and then got sincerely flirted with by a woman, so that deescalated that very quickly.
There was Dean at first rejecting Garth’s compliment of “You smell SO good”, becoming uncomfortable, to then, by the end of the ep, tell Garth he didn’t smell half-bad either.
And there was that amazing moment with Cas calling out Sam being “sexually intimate” with Ruby and Dean repeating the words as if he can’t believe Cas even knows how to pronounce them.
So, there’s... you know, stuff?
But it’s not foreshadowing if it can be overlooked by the wider audience.
That said.
This show isn’t about this love story of ours. The fact that it’s so downplayed could mean that what we’ll get is something textual, but extremely subtle. I mean, for me, lingering eye-contact and a shared smile in a context that makes us understand they’re choosing each other would be enough.
If, by canon, you mean do I think we’ll get them kissing, then the answer is I want to believe that we might get that, because they could build towards that on the foundation of ease and trust that they’ve put down over the last few episodes and they could build it effectively, but I just don’t know if the studio (who own the characters) is onboard.
My hope is that they are, because the topic of healthy representation is so hot right now, and the question of the longevity of Supernatural to the younger generations (you know, you young ones who are proving exceedingly more open-minded and looking for something beyond the superficial brothers-hunting-monsters aspect of the show) would bank on the show opening itself up to the possibilities of solid representation already seeded throughout its run.
But Dean has flirted with more women than men this season. You know? I mean, he hasn’t flirted with any men. So.
Look, I’m not going to say I don’t think we’ll get it, because I don’t know.
I watched S15 yesterday and finished it today and suddenly I feel this wave of hope that it actually might happen, because they’ve already changed how Dean and Cas interact, they’ve given them so many scenes with just the two of them, and we have Sam clearly meant to end up with Eileen, and doesn’t Dean and Cas deserve that same happiness? That same sense of completion? That internal peace of loving unconditionally and being loved in return?
Sam and Eileen could be foreshadowing. These writers are subtle and they could be gleefully rubbing their hands together at the thought of springing textual Destiel on the GA, you know? The green light from the studio might make them diabolical. *sadism* And I love that thought.
Because that’s been the point of the love story for me, this slow, slow build to the moment when Dean and Cas have reached a point in their progression when what they’ll have together is a healthy, balanced, loving relationship because they’ve both let go of the past and are looking to the future.
But I won’t expect textual Destiel. If we do get it, I’m going to treasure it as a big cherry on top of an already perfectly inviting and exquisite pie.
What I do believe, more than ever, that we’re getting, though, is closure. Even if it’s only at the subtextual level, I believe that those of us who read the subtext will have Destiel verified beyond a shadow of a doubt. And yes, I will be quite surprised and disappointed if we don’t get that. Because of how these first 13 episodes have been shaped and how strong the subtext is in them.
I believe we’ll end on a hopeful note.
And wouldn’t that just be gratifyingly phenomenal?
(it really would) (honestly I just need to know that they are happy and alive and together and well and finding peace and carrying on) (you know?) (thank you and amen) :)

The only episodes I've really watched are TMWWBK (which is my favorite episode and I'm certain would still be my favorite if I watched every single one because it has the only SPN character and the only SPN line), The French Mistake (which was funny enough but honestly in the Just Okay category for me, which makes me pretty sure I wouldn't enjoy actually watching SPN if this is one of the funniest/highest-rated eps), and Reading Is Fundamental (my best friend was watching it and asked me if I wanted to hop on Discord, I thought it might be fun to see Kevin's first introduction but instead this ep found the two of us taking like 90 minutes to get through it bc we kept pausing and screaming (derogatory) as the model minority stereotype jokes piled up and up and up... Unfortunately not a favorite even if we got Meg AND the "pull my finger" joke AND the "Sorry" shot). Other than TMWWBK, from clipping and transcript-reading, I like Wayward Sisters (who doesn't?), The Things We Left Behind (Claire!!!! Cas trying to be a dad! The diner scene aka my favorite destiel scene of all time bc being in love just looks so good on Cas! Also the parallels between Claire and Randy and teen Dean and the adults at that club in his story... woof.), Golden Time (Eileen gets to be HERE and be sad and loved and fight people with ghost powers and Cas gets to do a cool speech and a stabbing and do the Asian community a favor), and Lucifer Rising (just immensely sexy on all counts for Ruby, Sam, Cas, and myself). Also I am SO fond of Steve!Cas so I'll add Heaven Can't Wait even if I barely know anything about it.
30. What is an unpopular opinion or headcanon you have about the show?
Ooh okay hm I think. So I adore confession scene, but I don't think the "I cared about the whole world because of you" is like. The Objective Truth the way that most bloggers seem to take it. Cas was lobotomized tons of times before he met Dean, he was described as coming off the line with a crack in his chassis, he's always been the weird little angel who likes humanity too much! I don't think Dean came first, and although gay love was part of what helped Cas invent free will, he *Ruby voice* didn't need the feather to fly, Dumbo! I do think Cas believes what he says in the moment, but I also think he sorta... made himself believe it? This is probably just me deciding that cas-coding should go both ways, but like. I very much crush as a coping mechanism and I very much overascribe my actions to love because it simply seems more noble/poetic to do so. Being miserable because school is hard is cringefail but being miserable because of unrequited love is Good Shit. And I have been in unrequited love with my best friend for at least 7 years (probably 9 but I didn't realize it earlier) and if you asked I would 100% say that she taught me love and defined love for me and that she will be my first and last, but I also know that that is not entirely true; it's just the narrative that I like for myself. And I think that being in an Empty deal contingent on whether or not he LETS himself feel happy would lead Cas to do plenty of mental maneuvering, which I think involved intentional self-poor-little-meow-meow-ification via overascribing his choices and happiness to Dean (and I also think he'd already been doing that for a while just because of personal self-worth issues and because it's a nice narrative). I know as Cas's last Moment on the show it was probably written to be The Objective Truth, but I am perceiving him and I say no.
44. If you could write an episode of Supernatural, what would happen?
Oh scream okay! This is a fun one! I am going to start out with two ideas from other people:
1. Months ago Nate from the pocnatural discord had the idea of an episode from the "monster"'s perspective where the Winchesters are just clearly the antagonists while not doing anything different than they usually do. I think the idea was that all these supernatural beings live in a self-regulating community together and we have one Very Likable pov character who's a member of this community, but one of the newer members messes up one day and kills someone and the Winchesters come on a case and wreak havoc on this Very Much Functioning (there was going to be a whole rehab and reparations thing for the new member who messed up!) system and kill pov character and in the end you just HATE Sam and Dean for it.
2. It's hard to adapt anything from bad moon rising (aka my favorite spn fic) very well because the point of an Arab Winchesters season 1 rewrite is that it doesn't really work with the white characters we have now, but I think I could see a version of chapter 2 adapted as long as Haley (an Ojibwe hunter who lives in the area affected by what Sam and Dean are hunting) takes the lead. I'd especially like to see this section:
Dean laughs, a little disbelievingly. The question has never crossed his mind. “Do you like it?”
This gives Haley no pause at all. “Yeah,” she says. “I mean, it’s not really about killing monsters, though, for me. Or, it’s not always about killing monsters. It’s about community. Not violence. It’s a spiritual thing to build a home, you know?”
“Oh,” Dean says. He can’t think of anything else to say. It has never crossed his mind before that hunting could be compatible with a community.
I don't have any original episode ideas to add to the hunting discourse, so we're on to my ideas about character-driven eps. I think I would like to see a version of my sastiel possession fic (ty again for beta-ing that! you're a real one) as an ep around the time of 9.11 because Sam deserves to work through their trauma, but idk what the Dean plot should be for that. Another thing I would like very much is TFW drunk history storytime (so like. Tall Tales bass boosted), where for some reason they all need to go over what they were doing during Stanford era but each of them is telling someone else's story. It's gonna be either Sam->Dean->Cas->Sam or Dean->Sam->Cas->Dean. It starts out very funny (they all have terrible wigs and makeup in the flashbacks. Cas is Jimmy wearing a giant mask with googly eyes on it.) but as it goes on it gets increasingly sad how much these three don't really know each other.
In the Sam->Dean->Cas->Sam episode, Sam's telling of Dean's past veers wildly between "crushing pussy and killing things" and "feels like absolute shit all the time" and it's funny but Not Right and afterwards Dean goes "I didn't know you thought of me that way" and Sam says "... I am basically reading off the voicemails you left me back then" and Dean has to sit there and contend with the mythology he himself wrote for Sam to believe in. Dean->Cas provides the comedic beats for the episode as Dean awkwardly narrates Cas's Life As A Weird Little Guy who watches trees grow and heals babies and in the end Dean goes "so how did I do" and Cas is like "well actually I was either getting lobotomized or murdering people so like 3/10?" The moral of this plot line is that Dean is bi. Cas gives a fairly faithful retelling of Sam living her trans little life at Stanford and veering between trying to be Normal and being a total weirdgirl and feeling guilty and angry and happy and free. It becomes clear that Cas admires Sam a lot (but also feels like. guilt and some self-recrimination for not being that) for rebelling from their dad and exploring their queerness during a time Cas was still to his knowledge in total soldier mode, and Sam is having an a_good_soldier's Thesis 5 moment about how she failed the kid she used to be and how very sorry they are about all the things that happened to them, and Dean hates that this is the first he's hearing about so much of this but is also quite emo about the parts where Sam is struggling. The ep ends with them all in the same room not looking at each other and not knowing if they want to group hug or never talk again.
Dean->Sam->Cas episode is similar but the storytelling dissolves a lot faster as it becomes clearer way faster how much their own emotions are getting in the way. Dean is upset that Sam could leave their family so easily and probably swing a normal life, Sam keeps wondering what it would be like to live millennia just KNOWING that you were right and good and clean, and Cas is gay and veering between fitting Dean's life into a larger Righteous Man narrative and just being very tender (and sad and angry) about Dean's pain. Episode ends in a rather cathartic shouting match where they all end up apologizing to each other for many things.
Oh also I would like to see Cassie again but I don't have an episode in mind there. Also would love to see Kaia adjusting to life in Sioux Falls and befriending the others and dealing with Bad Place trauma.
tysm for the questions sorry for taking so long!
(ask game)

Umbrella Academy
season 2, episode 3
Next!
Again, live blogging and posting my reactions all in one post to avoid spamming.
This post got accidentally deleted yesterday so I had to write or all again (twice!)
Oh, starting with a Klaus and Ben 1960 flashback! Ah, Klaus... You have no shame. Let my baby eat though!
Lol "Chanel". Boy knows his fashion, of course.
And there's Boney M playing!
You can practically read his mind when he sees that diamond. Sugar momma alert! 😆
Damn, loving the black outfit, very sexy.
LEVITATING KLAUS WAS BEN LIFTING HIM UP! Seems that one crack theory on the fandom was right 🤣
Ben's face though 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
These two are the best combo. I love them.
61, Baja, NM. Traveling hippie commune.
Is Klaus still sober? He refuses a joint here so I'm inclined to believe that he is but he isn't acting very sober... Then again that might be an act, just him embracing the hippy life.
CALLED IT!!! BEN FALLS IN LOVE, DOESN'T HE?! I FUCKING CALLED IT IN EP 1!
62, Varanasi, India. The river scene from the promos. Yeah, I called this one too. Klaus is already looking seriously uncomfortable and realizing this is getting out of hand.
63, San Francisco. Poor Klaus is practically suffocating under all the touching and nobody respects his space or his words.
Destiny's Children! 🤣 You are such a 90s kid, Klaus.
Run away, Klaus! Run! Escape the crazies.
Ok, let me paused to write out a thought...
So a lot of people were worried about the cult thing and Klaus's intentions but it's clear he had no malicious intentions at all. He charmed and impressed some people for survival purposes and thrived, he enjoyed the love and attention at first and the cult just grew around around him organically whether he liked it or not, more a hippy cult of personality then a religious sect, but at some point he saw that it had gone too far, the pressure and expectation became too much and he realized he'd bitten more than he can chew.
It's actually rather sad how he just wants to escape but the cultists objectify him to all hell, he has no privacy or personal space. The problem with Klaus is that he doesn't do anything mildly, he always goes too big until he's drowning. Boy is already self-sabotaging and I'm sure he's going to start self-destructing very soon as well.
End of thought. Clicking play again.
Ouch! Poor Diego 😰 Lila, that is not how you cauterize a stab wound...
"what happened?" -your dear daddy stabbed you, dude.
Did she really need to strip him so thoroughly? 😏 Yes, yes, she did.
Well, at least she's not sewing you up, Diego. No needles, yay.
"oh, he isn't dead." "Disappointed?" "To see you? Always 😊" -did I mention I love Five's sass? I did? Well, I do.
Old family friend 😆
"you don't untie him?" "Was I supposed to?" Oh Lila, you're adorable, poor Elliot.
Vanya, that is suspicious as hell, just mow down that weirdo!
Ok, good instincts but too slow.
Run, girl, run!
Got to admit, these Swedes are good battle strategy, they are surrounding her surprisingly well.
Is this were the badass Vanya promo was from? Show me badass Vanya, please.
BADASS VANYA! 💖
Ooooooh, very smart, Five!!!
One of the machines though? What are the others for? I'm curious.
Plano Street Rooming House for Solitary Men? That's real depressing, Luther.
It's the "the end is nigh" guy the same that was screaming with Luther in ep 1?
King Kong! Not sure if cute or rude af...
Ahahahah! Luther literally STUMBLING on "Allison" and then acting like an awkward Steve Rogers when the kids call him out 😆 Boy, when will you realize that your obsession is creepy?
Honestly, ALL the Hargreeves siblings can be divided into two categories- sweet awkward dork or sass king/queen, there is no in-between (but Diego and Klaus get to be both).
Convenient that Vanya would just sit there and wait to be found by Five but ok.
"I have a brother?" -honey, you have five (pun fully intended)
IKEA MAFIA! 😂
Nice crop circle, Vanya.
Five just rolls with the amnesia, huh? Doesn't even question it. Ok, then.
Why is Ruby, notorious mobster, sewing sequins? It's it for the dog? I bet, it's for the dog.
"Hargreeves. She your ex?" *Cue Luther's super awkward fumbling* "S-Sorta...Y-Yeah. Sure." - big boy, this is the point where you realize how creepy your crush on your own sister is, time to reevaluate.
KLAUS AND ALLISON REUNION! THEY ARE SO CUTE! 😭💜
Tumblr media
Honestly, I need more Klaus and Allison interactions. They have so much bff potential.
*le gasp* "oh, you're married?" 😲 -yes, Klaus, you met him.
"dicks, drugs, debutants. My holy trinity" -ok so everything Klaus says should be taken with a grain of salt but does Klaus still do drugs or not? Considering the evolution of his powers with Ben I'd say no, but we aren't seeing other ghosts harassing him so... Hmm, I need confirmation.
"alternative spiritual community" my ass
Ah, Allison falls into the sass queen category.
Allison can have a little PTSD, as a treat. 😢
Those shoes! Hi, Handler.
Those shoes really are her signature by now. Those heels could kill a man.
Handler as a brunette...? She looks good but I like her bleach blonde.
What did she say to make that boy pee himself?? Damn, Handler, no wonder your kid is a mess.
These dudes need to start listening to my girl Allison, instead of following her husband like puppies.
Great speech, girl! ✊
What is up with that sandwich???
Oh wait, it's Ben right? Klaus is using his powers to get Ray out of jail, isn't he?
Yup, of course he is.
Ben being all sassy and cocky about it gives me life.
"high places" - 😆
Poor Ray, you have no idea what you've gotten yourself into.
"family barbecues are about to get reeeeeeeal weird" - I'd actually like to see that.
"leave the pot, dear" - you're such an old man, Five.
"any questions?" Five, if be worried if she DIDN'T have questions after all that.
"asteroid impact" -aww 💜 you really do care for her feelings, Five... But you have to tell her the truth sooner or later.
Harlan likes classical music, huh? Good thing he knows a good violinist.
Harlan and Sissy... 😭 My poor heart.
Ouch! What is wrong with you, Lila? You're right but what is wrong with you?
"I can't believe I got shanked by my own father" - can't you, Diego? Really? After everything else that man did to you and your siblings?
"man to man, that son of bitch wouldn't stand a chance" - yeah, he would, he taught you all you know, boy
Not sure if Lila's story is true or not but... I still have that one theory that she was born on October, 1989...
"I don't understand you!!!" - ahah, poor Diego 🤣
Really? Right in front of Elliot's tuna mold?
Man, Handler is really obsessed with Five...
Oh, Luther, you giant puppy...
This is so AWKWARD!
Bonbons, Luther? Really?
Ok, this small talk is even MORE AWKWARD! It physically hurts to listen to this.
The pain in his face and voice when Luther goes "S-so great" 😭
boy, this is the moment you realize it's time to move on, you're not isolated teenagers in a dysfunctional home anymore, let her be your sister and find love elsewhere.
The sit in!
"seven languages" sassy, sassy, I love her.
YOUNG DAVE!
Oh no... Klaus, no, baby... Oh, this is painful.
Ben, don't be mean, let your brothe have this.
What kind of gay man doesn't know what eggshell is? 😆
"is this considered stalking? 'cause I think you're stalking now" - well, BEN, following your brother 24/7 for 15 years can also be considered stalking
Oh no, Vietnam flashbacks... Poor Klaus 😭😭😭
"Vietnam fling"? Ben, you know it wasn't just a fling! Stop being mean.
Aw, Klaus just wants to save Dave... He's willing to sacrifice their relationship to save Dave's life... 😭😭😭
I know Ben is just worried but he could be less mean...
Damn, this sit in thing is really upsetting...
Why is Ray being weird? Is he suspicious of Luther and Alison's relationship? Or is he just unhappy that Allison kept secrets about her family?
Oh Luther, no... Self-harm by proxy is not going to make you feel better.
Oh, motherfucker! That coffee thing was such an asshole move!
Shit, this scene is so well written, the way something so small is making the whole protest escalate to all hell... The police brutality, the parallels with recent events... Disturbing and brilliant and deeply relevant!
Yes! Rumor that motherfucker, Allison!
Oh no, don't be scared of your wife, Ray! Don't be suspicious!
Poor Allison... 😢
Oh Luther, you dumbass... 😢
Lila going to meet mommy, huh?
Oh, she's still wearing Diego's bracelet. Cute.
I know this scene between Handler and Lila was supposed to be a shocking plot twist but after David Castañeda's interview slip up, I already knew.
Still, an excellent scene and very cool surprise.
Like I said before, I really like Lila, I don't trust her AT ALL but I like her.
...
THIS WAS SUCH AN EMOTIONAL EPISODE... Again.
My god, this show gives me life.

Salem set Cinder up to fail
Seeing as we slowly reach the end of vol 6, I thought I get this theory out before it's too late XD
So what brought me to the idea that Salem set Cinder up to fail?
Tumblr media
The first piece for that puzzle can already be found in vol 4 episodes 11 and 12. In episode 11 Cinder was clearly struggling, “holding back“ as Salem put it. The very next episode nothing of that remained though and we see her utilize her rage and anger to overcome whatever held her back before, burning an illusion of Ruby with Salem smiling very satisfied in the background. Nothing strange so far...until we ask ourselves the following question: Who even came up with this idea to use Emerald's semblance? For a while I had believed Cinder herself was the one who thought of this, but the more I rewatched and analyzed Cinder related scenes I realized it had to be Salem. She was essentially treating and aiding Cinder's recovery and obviously in charge of her training as well. Now you could argue that Cinder still could've pitched the idea to her, but remember how she acted in vol 4 overall? Insecure, lashing out, easily angered, lost, in pain. Sure, she was mad and frustrated, but her anger lacked focus. She wasn't only angry at Ruby at that time, so her coming up with this idea doesn't seem likely, it had to be Salem's. And seeing as Salem is a master when it comes to anger and vengeance it even makes a lot of sense. So Salem actively pushes Cinder into a vengeful mindset to help her overcome the trauma that held her back. Can't wait to watch you burn indeed XD
Tumblr media
But this alone doesn't prove that Salem set Cinder up for failure, so let's jump into volume 5 episode 2, where it becomes more and more a possiblility.
Throughout that scene we see Cinder being awefully triggered by the mere mention of Ruby alone, so much that Salem even reigns her in at some point. That clues us in just how her mindset is at this moment. Even after the report is over, Salem immediately picks up on the fact that Cinder is feeling unruly and rather wants to use force than cooperation, just like she was pushed to do in her training. So Salem knows this, she knows she pushed Cinder into vengeance, she knows Cinder is overly triggered when Ruby is mentioned and she knows she'd rather use force than trying to manipulate the bandits and Raven Branwen...but she still puts Cinder in charge of the mission.
Now why would she do something so risky? We all were able to guess what Cinder would do, so it would be laughable if Salem didn't. So Salem put her in charge deliberately.
Another small, but maybe not unimportant detail is the scene right after assuring Cinder she will get the power she promised her and telling her to be careful in a sense, because there was only so much she could do to guide her, Salem stops her and tells her to inform Tyrian that she “whished to have a word with him.“
I believe I was not alone in the assumption, thinking she wanted to chew him out because of the Qrow thing, but why draw attention to this fact? Why use animation for something like that?
Because Salem talking to Tyrian is important later on and I will come back to this at a later point.
But first let's go back to vol 5 and the whole attack on Haven. A lot of people found Cinder's behavior at Haven in regards to Ruby and her lack of reaction inconsistent, illogical or simply bad writing, and seeing how I already pointed out that Cinder was triggered by Ruby before, I feel compelled to clear this up some more.
Cinder was 'pushed' into seeking vengeance against Ruby. We were led to believe she would react to her on sight, when in reality she had only ever reacted to her being mentioned. Yes, we saw her burning an illusion of Ruby, but it is still miles away from being ready to face the real thing, the actual person. Cinder parallels Yang in that regard. Both were traumatized badly and were not ready to face the one responsible for that, just that Yang was able to deal with her trauma in a more healthy way than Cinder. With that in mind and seeing that she didn't even risk looking at Ruby once, we can safely assume Cinder wasnt ready. And the person who definitly knew that send her to lead the attack at Haven, even though knowing full well that Ruby was there. Salem didn't call Cinder's change of plan off when Watts told her either. She could have done something, but she didn't.
When she confronted Lionheart and he tried to blame it all on Cinder, she appeared more bored than anything. Even if we assume she already knew that Cinder changed the plan, she couldn't have been sure it was Cinder's fault things went south, but she really just looks bored out of her mind, as if she expected most of this to happen. She made sure to to push Cinder into a mindset that made her overly predictable and out her in charge after all.
Now you could argue that Salem was pretty angry about not getting the relic, but the thing is...Salem hadn't facored in EVERYONE failing. If Blake hadn't brought the Faunus backup, Hazel's group would have clearly won against team Rwby and co. They were already having the upper hand and if Adam had succeeded in blowing up the school it would've been them who would need to retreat, leaving room for Salem's faction to either go after the maidens, though Cinder would've already been defeated at that point, to retrieve the relic from Raven, or they wouldn't have found either of them, which would have probably prompted them to visit Raven's tribe once more. Salem deliberately had enough components in this plan of hers, that Cinder failing wouldn't factor in in the end.
So her anger in vol 6 ia still understandable, it is just not really directed at Cinder.
Now we come to the most interesting part (at least for me XD). Why would Salem even want to make Cinder fail?
We may not know Salem's ultimate plan or end goal at the moment, but she apparently needs Cinder in some kind of broken up like state and she is clearly not finished, as we can see in vol 6.
In episode 4 she deliberately pressured Emerald to give up Cinder's name, even though it was clear to all of them whose name Salem expected and wanted to hear. One could argue that she asked Hazel first, but actually she didn't. We just presumed Hazel was the one the question was directed to, but Salem never specified him to answer. This also ties into my theory I made about Emerald naming Cinder and there being consequences for that, and with episode 9 we got even more hints that could strengthen this.
Salem wants Cinder to hit rock bottom. She pushed her into rage and vengeance and set her up to really lose this time around. Now she is working on removing the only bonds Cinder still has, her subordinates, and she does so with Tyrian's help.
Tumblr media
Let's recap. In vol 5 she asked Cinder to tell Tyrian that she wanted to talk with him, right after sending the girl off on a mission she was supposed to fail anyway. And then, in vol 6, we have Tyrian constantly messing with both Emerald and Mercury. When they firat come back in ep 4, he immediately bugs them. He didn't seem in the slightest surprised that Cinder wasn't with them and he specifically focused on Emerald. If Salem really only wanted to punish or reprimand Tyrian again, he wouldn't have been that cheerful at Hazel's return. Furthermore Tyrian messing with them on his own volition seems unlikely. They still are, for all purposes, their allies and as long as someone is useful, I don't think he would try to get them to leave in fear of angering his goddess. It would be pretty bad for him to mess with people Salem might still want to use. Him stirring trouble now, two times in the row, overly fixated on Cinder's subordinates, even going as far as to indirectly tell them they should go and disobey Salem's orders? After Salem herself made sure to have Emerald sell Cinder out? Those would be very strange coincidences indeed, seeing as she is also the one trying to isolate them from Cinder.
All of this might just be an elaborate plan of hers and seeing as we talk about the person who manipulated kings and queens into rebelling against the gods...I could envision her doing just that.
Then again, it's only one of my theories, but I really like this one XD

Imagine Cordo going down and everyone is happy but then sudden laser beam and Oscar is shot, which takes everyone by surprise. Ruby freaks out (everyone does) and that’s when Oscar sees Ozpin. Causing ep 13 (since ep 12 is probably gonna be fighting) to be focused on Oscar and Ozpin?
That’sone way of doing it. While I share your hunch on Oscar possibly being downed during the finale and ending up either in the Dreamscape(meaning his own mind) or the Realm between Realms to reunite with Ozpinand the God of Light, I don’t personally want Oscar to go down so soon meaningthat I’m actually hoping he survives the Cordo boss battle.
Apart of me hopes thatif Oscar is to go down, it’ll probably be during a daring moment of protecting Ruby. That’s why I’m waiting for the events of V6 C11 to playout because I’m curious to know if Neo and Cinder are going to show up for thefinale alongside Adam.
Ifwe’re getting the fated rematch boss fight between Adam versus Blake and Yangthen supposed we’ll get another parallel rematch battle between the Fire and Ice-creamduo and the Rosebuds.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
IfNeo and Cinder show up then the hunch I have is that we’ll get to see a tag team rematchbattle of Cinder versus Oscar and Neo versus Ruby.
I want Neo to have her duel with Ruby basedon what Cinder promised her in V6 C7.
“…Help me getto Atlas. Help me find her and the rest is up to you…”
Cinder told Neo that if she helped her findRuby then she will be allowed to deal with her how she saw fit. I know she saidAtlas but…what if the Writers decide to retcon that detail and have Cinder andNeo change their plans to go to Argus instead especially when they meet up withAdam who informed them that the group are in Argus or something like that.
I want a Neo and Ruby confrontation because Ifeel like it can mirror the fight she had with Torchwick which is the fightthat made Neo have her vendetta in the first place. And Cinder vs Oscar sinceCinder was the one who fought Ozpin and killed him so a second go like thiswould be interesting to watch; albeit a little unfair on Oscar’s part since, though Oscar has improved as a fighter, I’m not sure if he’s ready to go upagainst a Maiden of Magic. But it is worth seeing him try and give it hisall especially if Oscar, on his own, uses his own wit to outsmart the cockyCinder and disarm her.
If Neo and Ruby have their dual, then mytheory is that at some point Neo willoverpower Ruby. Seeing Ruby down, this gives Cinder theopen window to deal her final blow to Ruby. Even though Cinder promised Neo shecan have her revenge, knowing Cinder’s personality, I feel like she’s morelikely to doublecross Neo and take a cheap shot at Ruby while Neodistracts and weakens the girl for her.
While Ruby is distracted with Neo, Cindertakes this as a chance to kill Ruby. Or…perhaps Cinder does surprisingly keep her word to let Neo kill Ruby but stilltakes a cheap shot at Ruby. Like imagine…Cinder directs her attention fromOscar to blindside Ruby with an attack from afar and as Ruby spins to counterCinder’s attack, Neo takes this distraction as a moment to deal the killingblow to Ruby.
I keep hearing word of Neo committing a heinous action that will upsetthe fandom .  So whatif…Neo ends up killingOscar? What if…Neo takes a stab at Ruby only for Oscar to jump in front of the SilverEyed Girl, shielding her from the blow as Neo’s weapon goes right through theboy’s chest. So instead of killing Ruby, whatif…Neo technicallykills Oscar who dies saving Ruby right in front of her very eyes. I say technically because I don’t think the CRWBY Writers will actively kill off Oscar.
Tumblr media
I feel like if Oscar is going to reunite withOzpin, it’ll probably be in the Realm betweenRealms and why I want it to be that as opposed toOscar’s mind is because it’s a chance for Oscarto parallel Ozma’s experience and meet the God of Light (or God of Darkness)face to face.
Tumblr media
And as shown by Ozma, the only way for one toend up in the Realm between Realms is through death so I’m slowly starting to think that everything that’s been subtly foreshadowed about Oscar since the V6 poster has been leading to him possibly dyingthis season and coming back from the dead.
Tumblr media
I know a plot point like this could upset myfellow Pineheads however speaking as proud Pinehead myself; I actually would like to see this become canon if possible.
Oscar dyingto protect someone he cares about is something Ican definitely see him having the bravery to do. It doesn’t necessarily have to be Ruby that Oscar dies or gets seriously injured to the point of death tryingto protect. Though Ruby is the obvious firstchoice, I can also see Oscar dying to protect Jaune for one) thatnod to Pyrhha’s sacrifice at sending Jaune off to safety while she went off tofight Cinder alone and two) to establish a bond between Oscar and Jaune whichcould aid later when Jaune eventually asks Oscar to join JNR. There have been too many signs this season.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Having Jaune have tension with Oscar so that he can learn to appreciate the value of having Oscar on the team.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“…Don’tworry. We’re not leaving for Atlas without him.”“This teamjust isn’t the same without you, Oscar.”
Tumblr media
Bringing up Pyrhha so that JNR could finally have closure for their fallen friend and former teammate and move on anew.
Tumblr media
I know that Oscar’s justification for incorporating red into his combat outfit theme is different from JNR’s but I like that it’s in there not just to symbolize Oscar’s admiration for Ruby but to also give him a colour that connects him to JNR. Just look how good these four looking next to each other. Look how Oscar fits in with JNR.
And of course, my favourite moment from C11 to signal JNPR’s potential revival with Oscar on the team---the fact that Oscar is making the same reaction to Jaune as Nora and Ren---that felt like such team moment. Like three team members being amused over their dorky leader. I’m just waiting for the show to make it official already.

That JNPR revival is coming guys! It’s getting stronger with every new episode. Now all I need is for Oscar to fight alongside JNR for the finale and like a hacker, he’ll be in for sure.
Plus I like this idea because it couldpotentially lead into my theory on Oscarbecoming immortal---resetting the reincarnation cycle byasking the God of Light to grant him immortality so that he may carry out themission of stopping Salem without having to force Ozma, the Past Wizards or anyfuture Wizards from this curse.
I think something like this could be cool ifturned canon…but I dunno. Not sure if Writers would do something like this.
Going back on your point anon,C13 is the seasonfinale episode. It’s the verylast episode of V6. Waiting to have Oscar meet Ozpin at thevery end. Giving everyone their development throughout the season while waitingto drop Oscar’s at the very end---I dunno. That might not sit well with somePineheads who were hoping it would’ve come sooner y’know. I know it’s just yourtheory anon-chan but I actually think you could be correct in that assumption.
If I were to interpret the narrative of thenext three episodes, I could assume that all three episodes will involve big fightsso I’m expecting C11-13 to be very action and combat heavy. We already got a taste of it fromthe C11 teaser clips.
If I had to guess, I feel like C11 will focusheavily on the Adam vs Bumblebee fight while cutting back and forth between the Cordo boss fight with JNR_QROW.I actually don’t think the mecha battle is the main fight. By the end of C11,we’ll probably get some reveal of a major twistto suggest that Adam was only the decoyto a much bigger scheme.
In C8, Ruby brought up Cinder Fall after Maria mentioned her ‘trial by fire’. Thisis why I’m waiting to see if Cinder and Neo show up. An interesting way to end C11is on a cliff-hanger where Grimm arrive to attack Argus along with Fire and Ice-cream.
By the end of C11, it would be cool if Neo andCinder were revealed to be working with Adam again and arrive with an army of Grimm to rain down on the unsuspectingcitizens of Argus---perhaps an army comprised of the Grimm we’ve seen all volume like the Manticoreand the Sphinx, maybe even some Apathy or just the generic cannon fodder Grimmlike the traditional Ursas and Beowolves.
Then in C12, we get the heroes splitting up to tackle the enemy while evacuating thecitizens to the Argus Atlesian Military Base since it’s probably the mostwell-protected safe haven in the entire city. This is why I don’t want Cordo tobe defeated because I’d like to see a temporarycease fire as Cordo redirects her attention to helping the heroes protect the citizens.
Maybe we can even have Maria assist from the air by evacuating people with her ship?
One thing I’ve been hoping to see for thefinale is Oscar fighting with JNR. Like we get to see Oscar, Jaune, Nora and Ren work together and pulloff team attacks coordinated by Jaune to take down an enemy horde to furtherhint at Oscar potentially joining up with them to revive Team JNPR. If C12 is along episode then we could get to see the Neo versus Ruby and Cinder versusOscar rematch go down and since the CRWBY like to toss in cliff-hangers…imagine if the episodeends with my theory of Neo killing Oscar while he tried protecting Ruby andthat’s how the episode just ends.
Then in C13, we get the reunion of Oscar and Ozpin. The only way I’ll accept itbeing like this is if the 90% of the episode is focused on just Oscar and Ozpinreuniting in the Realm between Realms or the Dreamscape or where the Writersdecide to toss their reunion.
No offense to the writers but they have skimpedon Oscar’s development this season which is disappointing since the posteralluded to it so…I’m hoping C11-C13 will make up for it and be our freckled farm boy’s crowning moments toshine like the golden boy he is.
But we shall see. In the meantime, these are justmy thoughts and theories and I hope they answered your question anon-chan. I plan ongoing more in depth in some of the stuff I talked about like Oscar’s potentialimmortality or even my ideas for how V6 could end in upcoming RWBY Musings. But asI said, I’m waiting to see how C11 goes because for me that will determine thekind of finale we’re going to get. So let’s see tomorrow!

Anne With An E Season 2 Episode 1 Ramblings (SPOILERS):
• Anne having a mini orchestra with the forest animals was precious
• Seeing Matthew happy and well again made my heart feel SOO FULL
• My QUEEN Marilla how I've missed you
• Thief #1 out here making bread. That's nice. Try choking on it. Also floppy haired thief is lowkey attractive and has no business looking this good when he's here for the sole purpose of hurting this pure family.
• Floppy haired thief (Nate) goes "Bless those who are in our hearts and the camera cuts away to Gil at sea. I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE
• GIL MY SWEET BABY. I'VE MISSED YOUR BEAUTIFUL FACE
• GIL'S NEW FRIEND IS FROM TRINIDAD AND I'M SCREAMING BECAUSE THAT'S WHERE I LIVE. ASDFGHJJKL
• When you thought Gil couldn't be any more perfect he starts singing like the actual angel he is
• Seeing Gil smile again after what feels LIKE YEARS has ended me.
• BASH (Gil's friend) IS USING TRINIDADIAN DIALECT AND I AM LOOVING IT. THATS MY COUNTRY Y'ALL.
• Back to Avonlea and my heart hurts at how much Anne admires Nate and his floppy hair.
• Anne's flashbacks are always so heart breaking. They make you appreciate Anne's resilience a hell of a lot more though. She was mocked continuously for her imagination and even punished for it but she refused to change the way she was.
• Jerry MY SON. Ofc he'd be the one to pick up on how sketchy floppy hair is.
• Okay. Anne found Jane Eyre because of her punishment which was holding books. And this is where her love for reading started and my HEART.
• Anne teaching Jerry to read is so sweet and pure and I love it.
• THEY'RE SINGING THE SAME SONG GIL WAS. GIVE ME ALL THE PARALLELS.
• I loved the talk between Gil and Bash. Their frienship is going to be beautiful.
• Cuthbert family times at the beach is EVERYTHING
• ANNE AND GIL BOTH LOOKING OUT AT THE WATER. I REPEAT GIVE ME THE PARALLELS.
• Floppy hair is abusing Anne's trust in him. I did not see this dynamic between them coming and it hurts.
• Ruby writing "Bert" stories and counting the days Gil's been gone (8 months 3 days) is the biggest MOOD
• NATE STAY AWAY FROM JERRY OR I WILL START THROWING FISTS
• WOW. SO NATE IS SHIRTLESS AND HIS FLOPPY HAIR IS FLOPPY. AND WHY IS THIS SHOW MAKING ME ATTRACTED TO HIM??????? HE'S EVIL
• So both Cuthbert women are crushing on Nate and I really cannot blame them at this point.
• Anne embroidered a damn apron for Jonesy. It's gonna crush her when she finds out they've been using her and her family.
• These con men really got the whole of Avonlea to believe them. *sighs* Nate's floppy hair is at least 90% of the reason.
• Anne's first reaction when she hears that Avonlea really has gold is to want to write a letter to Gilbert. IM LIVING.
• ANNE FOUND THE FAKE NEW YORK STAMP THEY'RE USING. COME ON ANNE FIGURE IT OUT
• "Doesn't that sound romantical? The manifest. Not the letter to Gilbert" SUREE ANNE. THAT'S DEFINITELY THE ROMATIC PART. SUUURE
• Anne prays for there to be gold so that no one in Avonlea will have hardships anymore and she prays that her letter will reach Gil. What a sweetie.
• NATE KNOWS ANNE FOUND THE STAMP. OOOH SHIT'S ABOUT TO GET REAL NEXT EP.

Tagged by the magnificent @thegreatficmaster - Same as Nini, I’ve only seen each ep once, so excuse my forgetfulness
1. What season did you start watching Supernatural? I think Ep 10 had just started or ep 9 had just finished when I started from scratch!
2. Who was the first character you fell in love with? Dean. Hard to fall in love when you just wanna mother the heart broken Sam.
3. Who was a character that you hated at first but grew to love? Probably John, he was this elusive dick bag who commanded and demanded, but in the end he proved his heart was in the right place.
4. Which character would you most want to be in a long-term relationship with? Dean, I feel I’d do well with a man being constantly in an out as long as he wasn’t so eager to always lay his life down.
5. If you could go on just one date with one character, which one would you choose? Sam, I think it’d be a battle of the minds.
6. What would you do on the date? I wanna say a coffee at first, one that goes for an hour or two, and then a movie that we’d both debate and discuss over dinner, and then a lovely stroll under the stars or streetlamps. And then “I guess this is me”...
7. Which character would you most want to be like? I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say Garth. Although he struggles to fit in, he’s mostly true to himself and loves big and whole heartedly and is accepting of anything. I’m not saying I wanna be a werewolf, but his personality is a good one.
8. Which character would you most like to see brought back from the dead? John and Charlie, no thought needed. These two are the biggest characters for me.
9. Which character would you most like to punch? Metatron. Such a dickbag.
10. Who is your absolute favorite character? Dean & Sam... they’re both deep characters who’ve gone through too much and the characters aren’t shiny and perfect, they have bruises and scratches and need more than a band-aid!
11. Which “Big Bad” do you think was the worst? Worst in terms of badly done or “holy moly this is a big one”?  Well done, Demon Dean... does he count? Badly written - Amara. Although she was angry and confused, I didn’t see the NEED for her obsession with Dean.
12. Which character are you most like? HOPEFULLY Jody. Gooey center, but by god do you have a tough shell to crack first. And a mother to all.
13. What death hit you the hardest? Charlie’s. She had gone through so much, was a brilliant character and then ... Quoth the Raven “Nevermore.”
14. What season finale hit you the hardest? Season 1 I suppose, I didn’t know what I was in for, I was building up a love for the characters and although I was many seasons behind I knew they’d live, it still left me questioning...
15. What are your ten all-time favorite episodes? I don’t know. I’ll try and give a few from the top of my head that I enjoyed; Ep1 S1, Changing Channels, Last ep S12, the one with the gods all in one hotel, Mystery Spot, the one at the school with the singing, Ep22 S2... I don’t know.
16. What’s been your favorite season? I binged them, they ran together for me, so I’m gonna cop out with SEASON 1!
17. Who is your favorite angel? Balthazar ... just for the Awkward scene!
18. Who’s your favorite demon? Crowley and Ruby 2
19. Who’s your favorite evil character? Rowena (but is she evil?)
20. Do you have any Supernatural ships? Sam and Eileen, at a push
21. Who’s your favorite supporting actor? JDM, Felicia Day, Kim, Brianna, Mark Shepherd
22. What’s your favorite quote from the show? The cliche; Family don’t end in blood (or is it with)?
23. If you could cast one famous actor in an episode of SPN, who would you chose? Ryan Corr or Caitlin Stacey or Richard Roxborough or Gina Torres
24. If you could write your own episode, what kind of creature would you like to see included? Another human episode, where it’s just a messed up individual OR a greek mythological creature.
25. Who’s your favorite girl that Dean’s hooked up with? Cassie Robinson
26. Who’s your favorite girl that Sam’s hooked up with? Sarah Blake
27. What are some of your favorite convention moments? I’m not too sure, I like when they tell a story that the other doesn’t seem to know.
28. If you were going to guest star (or be a recurring guest star) on SPN, how would you want your character described? Independent, strong willed and just as stubborn as the Winchester’s. So much so that they begin to wonder, how many kids did John have roaming the countryside.
29. What do you hope to see in the next season? More of the other side. The boys not being so thick headed and rushing into decisions. Less Cas and the return of many characters in the parallel world.
30.-40. If you had to choose…
Bobby or John? Sorry John, the boys need Bobby more
Bela or Ruby? Bela, although I wanted to strangle her many times, she was a solid character (and leaving Ruby so open, I HATED (credit to acting and script) Ruby 1)
Jess or Madison? Madison, I know Jess didn’t get the choice to be accepting of Sam’s hunting past/present, Madison embraced it no matter how terrified.
Jo or Lisa? Jo, she challenged the boys and had a wicked smile.
Charlie or Kevin? Charlie.
Balthazar or Ash? Balthazar, if we have Charlie, we don’t need another tech savvy human.
Cas or Crowley? Crowley. Plain and Simple.
Ben or Claire? Claire, although she irritates me, she is a necessary character.
Jody or Donna? Jody, she’s turned into a supportive Mom to the boys as well, but I love Donna too.
Sam or Dean? Salmon Dean?
