A/N: MY SWEETEST 🫧 HELLOOOOOOO !! Your disney girlie feelings are so valid and BEAUTIFUL, and now I’m crying thinking of you crying over Tangled and Beauty and the Beast. You’ve planted a GORGEOUS idea in my brain and now… allow me to feed you the fluff you deserve
Seungcheol: Beauty and the Beast
You're his arms. If you’re giggling at side characters, he laughs too, because your laugh is his favorite part of the movie. He also watches you sniffle into his sleeve and just pulls you into his arms, stroking your hair like, “I mean I get it… but also… he was hotter as a beast?” Then kisses your head and whispers, “You’re my Belle, though. Always.”
Jeonghan: The Little Mermaid
He’s watching you, not the screen, but you catch him humming Part of Your World days later. When you cry at Ariel losing her voice, he scoffs: “Ugh, tragic. Imagine not being able to talk to me all day.” But hands you a tissue and kisses your damp cheek 🥺 He’s already pulling you into his side, loving every second.
Joshua: Cinderella
He’s smiling the whole time, watching you more than the movie. When you cry at her dress transformation and finally going to the ball, he holds your hand tighter. Later, he says, “I’d fight the entire royal court just to find you, you know?” and you do know he means it. He matches your mood with affection and dreamy smiles. A literal Disney boyfriend.
Jun: Mulan
At first, he’s totally into the action. He’ll ask questions mid-way and get way too emotionally invested. But when you're wiping tears, he squeezes your hand and whispers, “She’s so brave… like you.” You melt. He makes you hotpot after and lets you ramble about honor and sacrifice.
Hoshi: Tangled
He sobs with you. Ugly cries. Ready to fight the animators for hurting your and his heart. Yells “NOOOO” when Flynn gets stabbed. Clutches your arm and whispers, “I want a lantern date too.” Later brings fairy lights and throws a nighty lanterny tangled themed cuddle night.
Wonwoo: Wall-E
Just watches with a soft gaze and smile. His arm’s around your shoulder, thumb drawing small circles. Holds you in his lap while you cry over robots. He brushes your hair back and goes, “Why am I this emotional over a robot?” But he rewatches it later alone. Tells you, “I’d travel 700 years with you too.”
Woozi: The Lion King
Pretends he’s just there because you wanted to watch it, until Mufasa’s death. Then it’s over. You’re sobbing, he’s stiff and blinking fast. Later says, “That’s… not fair…” and you hug him tight. He doesn’t let go for a long time. BUT will not admit he teared up, even though he did.
Dokyeom: Aladdin
He LOVES it. Gasps. Laughs. Tears up. He holds your hand the entire time, clutches it when it gets intense, and probably sings along without realizing it. Pulls you into his lap during “A Whole New World” and softly sings it to you while swaying. When you sob, he panics a bit like, “Are you okay??” Then makes you laugh with his Genie impressions 😔
Mingyu: Frozen
At first he’s like “Pfft this is for kids” but by Do You Wanna Build A Snowman he’s a wreck. Gets way too into the animation or plot. But when you get soft or emotional, he pulls you into his lap and goes, “You okay, princess?” [Yes, he calls you princess. Even if you're not crying.] He tugs you into his side, whispering, “I’d kill a whole kingdom to protect you like Elsa did.” And then tries to braid your hair like hers.
Minghao: Pocahontas
Silent watcher, and very emotionally moved. Doesn’t say much until it ends, and then gives you a long, soft look and goes, “You really love these, huh?” Offers you tea without a word when you cry during. Later paints you a little Pocahontas-inspired landscape and says, “I think your soul is like hers—wild and beautiful.”
Seungkwan: Up
Oh. This man cries first. Yells at the characters like they can hear him. Also: he sobs at the married life montage and looks at you with red eyes like, “Don’t you EVER leave me, okay??” Tissues, forehead kisses, all of it. And then forces you to make a memory scrapbook together.
Vernon: Big Hero 6
Totally cool with it until Tadashi’s death and Baymax’s sacrifice. Then he’s just numb. You’re crying, so he rubs your back, doesn’t say much; just lets you feel it all while being there for you. And then he’s got one tear down his cheek. He just says, “That’s… a lot.” He’s the type to keep watching the credits, processing everything, then builds a playlist of healing songs for you both.
Dino: Moana
He adoreeeees Moana. Excited to watch it with you even if he’s seen it a million times. Reacts genuinely. Glances at you often to see your reactions. Tells you, “I wanna be someone who finds their way like her.” Then pulls you into a hug when you tear up and goes, “Let’s be brave together, okay?”

Part Four: When Life Gives You Tangerine
Masterlist | Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3
A shy girl from Jeju who secretly admires her lively classmate, Boo Seungkwan, through small, thoughtful gestures. As their lives take unexpected turns, her quiet support evolves over the years, blending childhood memories with dreams that grow far beyond their little island school. Pairing: Boo Seungkwan x Reader Genre: Fluff, Humor
Seungkwan sat there, pen hovering over an album, frozen like a deer in headlights. Y/N’s sudden dash away—tangerine plopped on his table, a whispered “It’s from Jeju”—had short-circuited his brain. Then he heard it: Jeonghan’s laugh, that low, mischievous cackle. He glanced over, and there was Jeonghan, smirking like he’d just won the lottery.
“Hyung,” Seungkwan hissed under his breath, “what’s with the face? You’re freaking me out!”
Jeonghan just wiggled his eyebrows, signing an album with a flourish. “Oh, nothing. Just… enjoying the view.”
Seungkwan narrowed his eyes, but the line kept moving—fans smiling, albums sliding across the table. He tried to focus, scribbling his name, flashing his usual grin, but that tangerine sat there, staring at him. A little smiley face, “You’re my star!” in wobbly marker—it was too familiar. Like his Miniteen character had jumped off the page. Like… her. And Jeonghan’s smirk wasn’t helping. Does he know something?
The fan signing wrapped up, and the members shuffled back to the stage for the fun part—chatting with Carats, trying on fan gifts. Seungkwan grabbed a fluffy fan someone had handed him, waving it dramatically. “Look at me, I’m cool now!” he said, earning laughs. But his eyes kept darting to that tangerine, tucked safely in his pocket.
Then Jeonghan—oh, that menace—grabbed his mic and stepped forward, holding up his bunny-eared tangerine like it was a trophy. “Hey, Carats, isn’t this cute?” he said, grinning at the crowd. “You know, our makeup artist gave us a bunch like this at a shoot a while back. Same doodles—smiley faces, little notes. She even gave us extras for the whole group!”
The members erupted. “What?!” Hoshi yelped, clutching his tiger tangerine. “Extras? Where were mine?!”
“Yeah!” DK chimed in, pouting. “Did you eat them all, hyung?!”
Jeonghan waved a hand, all innocent. “No, no, I brought them home! I swear!”
Wonwoo, leaning against the mic stand, raised an eyebrow. “Wait, I remember this. You didn’t bring them to practice the next day. I forgot about it ‘til now.”
“Exactly!” Mingyu said, crossing his arms. “Jeonghan-hyung, you’re a tangerine hoarder!”
Jeonghan smirked wider, his gaze sliding to Seungkwan. “Oh, I didn’t hoard them. Someone else did. Hid them all—didn’t even share with me the next morning. Obsessed, really.”
Seungkwan’s big eyes snapped to him. “What?! Me?! No way! They just… disappeared!” Okay, fine, I hid them, he thought, cheeks heating up. But they were mine!
The crowd giggled, sensing a story. S.Coups tilted his head, mic in hand. “Wait, hold up. This sounds familiar. Seungkwan, isn’t this like your tangerine fairy thing from trainee days? The little girl who’d sneak you tangerines with drawings?”
Seungkwan froze, his fan mid-wave. “Uh… w-what? No! I mean—maybe? It’s not—!” He flailed, and the fans cooed, “Aww, so cute!”
“Oh yeah!” Joshua piped up, grinning. “You’d tell us about her all the time! ‘She’d leave me tangerines with smiley faces!’ You were so smitten!”
“I was not smitten!” Seungkwan yelped, waving his hands. “She was just… nice! It was a long time ago!”
Jeonghan leaned closer, his voice dripping with tease. “A long time ago, huh? Funny how these tangerines look exactly like that. Same doodles. Same vibe. Almost like… she’s still around.”
The group ooohed, and the fans squealed, eating it up. “Tangerine fairy’s back!” someone yelled from the crowd, and Seungkwan wanted to melt into the stage.
“Stop it, hyung!” he whined, clutching his mic. “You’re making it weird! It’s just a coincidence!”
“Is it?” Jeonghan said, smirking like a villain. “I mean, ‘It’s from Jeju,’ she said. Who else could it be?”
Seungkwan’s jaw dropped. “She said what?!” He hadn’t caught that whisper in the chaos—his brain had been too busy short-circuiting. Now it hit him like a truck. Jeju. Tangerines. Her.
The members kept going, oblivious to his meltdown. “Wait, so the makeup artist’s the tangerine fairy?” DK asked, wide-eyed.
“No proof!” Seungkwan cut in, desperate. “It’s just fruit! Anyone can draw on fruit!”
“Yeah, but not like that,” Wonwoo said, holding up his own tangerine. “These are special.”
“Super special!” Hoshi agreed, hugging his tiger one. “Seungkwan, you’ve got a secret admirer!”
“I don’t!” Seungkwan wailed, but the fans were laughing, chanting “Tangerine fairy! Tangerine fairy!” He shot Jeonghan a glare—you started this, you menace—but Jeonghan just winked.
Then, in a moment of chaos-fueled bravery, Seungkwan grabbed his mic, looked out at the crowd, and said, “Well, whoever you are, tangerine person… thanks for always making my desk a little brighter!” He paused, then added, cryptic and soft, “Hope you’re still drawing stars somewhere.”
The fans awwed, thinking it was just sweet fan service. But Y/N? Oh, she knew. Her heart stopped. Stars. My drawings. He remembers?!
Down in the crowd, Y/N was a blushing mess, half-hidden behind her lightstick. Jiwoo elbowed her, cackling. “Did you hear that?! He’s talking to you! ‘Drawing stars’—that’s your sketchbook!”
“No, it’s not!” Y/N hissed, sinking lower. “It’s a coincidence! He doesn’t know I’m here!”
“Girl, you’re delusional!” Jiwoo whispered, grinning. “Jeonghan’s smirking at him like he’s about to spill everything! You’re toast!”
“I wanna die,” Y/N moaned, burying her face in her hands. “The floor needs to eat me. Or I need to pop like a bubble—just poof, gone!”
“Too late!” Jiwoo said, barely containing her laughter. “Your tangerine legacy lives on!”
On stage, Seungkwan clutched his tangerine, heart racing. Was it really her? Jeonghan leaned over, whispering, “You’re welcome,” and Seungkwan swatted him with the fan.
“Stop meddling, hyung!” he hissed, but a tiny smile crept onto his face. Somewhere out there, his tangerine girl might be listening—and that thought made the stage feel a little brighter, just like old times.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Seungkwan slumped on the couch in their living room, legs sprawled out, staring at the tangerine on the coffee table. That little smiley face—“You’re my star!”—stared right back, like it was mocking him. He hadn’t touched it since the fan meeting, too rattled to even peel it. His brain was still spinning from Jeonghan’s antics on stage, that cryptic “drawing stars” moment, and the what ifs piling up in his head.
Jeonghan, sprawled on the other end of the couch, burst out laughing. “Yah, Seungkwan-ah, are you having a staring contest with that thing? It’s not gonna blink first!”
“Shut up, hyung!” Seungkwan whined, kicking his foot toward him but missing. “I’m thinking! This is serious!”
“Serious?” Jeonghan snorted, grabbing his phone. “You’ve been mooning over that tangerine for an hour. Just eat it already!”
“No way!” Seungkwan clutched it protectively. “It’s… special! What if it’s her?!”
Jeonghan rolled his eyes, already scrolling through Y/N’s business Instagram. Rows of flawless makeup shots—idols, actors, models—flashed by, all tagged with her handle. No selfies, though. Typical Y/N, hiding in plain sight. “You’re so dramatic,” he said, thumb sliding down the screen. “Why don’t you just message her business account? ‘Hey, are you my tangerine fairy from Jeju?’ Done!”
Seungkwan flopped back, groaning. “And what if it’s not her running it? What if it’s some assistant? I’d look like a total idiot! ‘Hi, random employee, did your boss used to sneak me fruit in elementary school?’ No thanks!”
“Or email her!” Jeonghan suggested, smirking. “You’ve got her work email from the shoot, right? Be professional: ‘Dear Y/N, loved your tangerines, are you my childhood soulmate?’”
“Hyung!” Seungkwan wailed, burying his face in a cushion. “Stop it! I can’t just ask her! What if she doesn’t remember? What if she thinks I’m weird?!”
Jeonghan ignored him, diving deeper into the Instagram rabbit hole. “You’re overthinking this. Let’s find her personal account—there’s gotta be a clue somewhere.” He scrolled past comments, tapped on tags, muttering, “Come on, Y/N, give me something…”
Seungkwan peeked over the cushion. “What are you even doing? Stalking her?”
“Investigating,” Jeonghan corrected, grinning. “For your sake, Boo Seungkwan. I’m your wingman here.” He kept scrolling, then—bingo—stopped on a post from one of their stylists. There it was: a tangerine with a goofy tongue-out face, captioned, “When your makeup artist brings snacks to the set! Thanks @y/n_draws!”
Jeonghan’s eyes widened. “Jackpot,” he whispered, tapping the username. The screen loaded Y/N’s personal account—private, but the profile pic was her, standing in a tangerine grove, smiling shyly. He scrolled the bio: “Doodles, makeup, and tangerines. That’s me!” And then—oh, then—he clicked her tagged photos.
“Seungkwan,” Jeonghan said, voice trembling with glee. “You’re gonna wanna see this.”
“What? What?!” Seungkwan leaned over, still clutching his tangerine. Jeonghan bolted up, phone in hand, and sprinted to Seungkwan’s bedroom.
“Hyung! Why’re you running?!” Seungkwan yelped, stumbling after him. He burst in to find Jeonghan yanking the old sketch off the wall—the one Y/N had drawn years ago, him on stage with a mic, stars, and a tangerine crowd.
“Look!” Jeonghan shoved his phone in Seungkwan’s face. On the screen: a photo of Y/N doodling on tangerines, another of her sketches—stars, stages, and—yep—a suspiciously familiar tangerine army. “Same style! Same stars! It’s her!”
Seungkwan’s jaw dropped. “No way. No way!”
“Yes way!” Jeonghan jumped on the bed like he’d won the lottery. “I found her! Your tangerine fairy! Look at this—same wobbly lines, same vibe! She’s been doodling you this whole time!”
Seungkwan snatched the phone, scrolling frantically. “This… this is her?! The makeup artist? The fan meeting girl? My tangerine girl?!”
“Duh!” Jeonghan flopped back, grinning. “I told you those tangerines at the shoot were sus! And today—‘It’s from Jeju’? Come on, Seungkwan, it’s fate!”
Seungkwan stared at the sketch in one hand, the phone in the other, then at the tangerine still clutched to his chest. “She… she remembered me? After all this time?”
“Looks like it,” Jeonghan said, smirking. “Question is, what’re you gonna do about it?”
“Do?!” Seungkwan yelped, pacing now. “I can’t just—hyung, what if she doesn’t wanna talk? What if she’s shy? She didn’t even say hi today—she ran off!”
“Then you message her!” Jeonghan said, sitting up. “Slide into her DMs—‘Hey, Y/N, love your tangerines, wanna catch up over some Jeju oranges?’ Boom, romance!”
“Romance?!” Seungkwan’s voice hit a new octave. “I can’t do that! She’ll think I’m crazy!”
“You are crazy,” Jeonghan teased, snatching his phone back. “But fine, play it cool. Follow her account first. Baby steps.”
Seungkwan groaned, collapsing onto the bed. “This is too much. I need a nap. Or a tangerine. Or both.”
Jeonghan laughed, tossing the sketch at him. “You’ve got her tangerine right there, lover boy. Sleep on it—then figure out how to thank your fairy for making you a star.”
Seungkwan buried his face in his pillow, the tangerine still in his grip. “She really did, didn’t she?” he mumbled, a tiny smile breaking through. Somewhere out there, Y/N was still drawing stars—and now, he knew exactly where to find her.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Seungkwan’s misery had hit peak levels. Weeks had morphed into a month, and knowing Y/N was the tangerine girl only made his life a chaotic blend of daydreams and dread. The boys were relentless—Hoshi doing exaggerated “tangerine fairy” dances, DK serenading him with made-up love songs about citrus. “Ooh, Seungkwan’s got a crush!” Hoshi would sing, prancing around the practice room with an orange peel balanced on his head.
“Leave me alone!” Seungkwan wailed, swatting at him. “It’s not a crush! It’s… complicated!”
“Complicated?” DK snickered, peeling a mandarin. “You’ve been mooning over her tangerines since we were trainees. Just message her!”
“I can’t!” Seungkwan flopped onto the couch, dramatic as ever. “What if I scare her off? I don’t wanna look like some weirdo popping up like, ‘Hey, I’m the kid you gave tangerines to a million years ago!’”
Jeonghan smirked from the corner. “You’re already stalking her in your head. Might as well make it official.”
“Hyung!” Seungkwan groaned, burying his face in his hands. Seventeen’s Spill the Feels promotions kept him too busy to wallow for long, but Y/N lingered in his thoughts—her shy whispers, that sketch, those tangerines.
Meanwhile, Y/N was swamped, brushing makeup onto idols and actors, her mind still replaying Seungkwan’s “drawing stars” comment from the fan meeting. Did he mean me? she’d wonder, then shake it off. Their paths hadn’t crossed since, and she was fine with that. Mostly.
Until her phone buzzed one evening. “Y/N, save me!” Minseo croaked. “I’m sick—flu again. Can you cover Seventeen’s shoot tomorrow?”
“Seventeen?!” Y/N yelped, nearly dropping her marker—she’d been doodling on a tangerine. “All thirteen? Minseo, I can’t! And Seungkwan’s there—I can’t face him!”
“You’ll have a team!” Minseo pleaded. “You won’t do it alone! Please, I’m dying here!”
“But—” Y/N stammered, cheeks already pink. “What if he knows? What if Jeonghan told him? I’ll combust!”
“Knows what?” Minseo wheezed. “That you’re a Carat? Big deal! You’re a pro—they won’t care!”
“It’s not that!” Y/N groaned, rubbing her face. “It’s… personal! Complicated! I’ll turn into a tomato the second I see him!”
Minseo laughed, then coughed again. “You’ll be fine! It’s a job, not a confession. Please, Y/N—I’m begging you. I’ll owe you forever!”
Y/N sighed, staring at her tangerine army—little “Fighting!” and “You’re great!” doodles mocking her cowardice. “Fine,” she muttered. “But if I melt into a puddle, it’s your fault.”
“You’re a saint!” Minseo croaked. “Text me later—I need details!”
That night, her apartment turned into tangerine central. Jiwoo and her assistant, Minji, sprawled across the floor, markers in hand, doodling “Fighting!” and “You’re the best!” on a mountain of fruit. “Why do we always do this?” Minji grumbled, drawing a wobbly smiley face. “It’s so extra!”
“Because,” Y/N said, grinning, “it makes people happy! Look at this one—‘Shine bright!’—perfect for a shoot!”
Jiwoo smirked, tossing a tangerine at her. “You mean perfect for Seungkwan. How’s that nonexistent love story going?”
“There’s no love story!” Y/N squeaked, catching it. “He’s just… a guy I knew! Stop it!”
“Sure,” Minji teased, doodling a heart. “That’s why you’re blushing already.”
“I’m not!” Y/N huffed, but her cheeks betrayed her. They worked late, ensuring enough tangerines for the staff and maybe—just maybe—the boys. “It’ll energize everyone,” she said. “Tangerines are magic!”
“Magical tangerine girl,” Jiwoo sang, and Y/N threw a peel at her.
The next morning, they hauled their citrus arsenal to the shoot location, bleary-eyed but ready. Y/N met two other makeup artists—Soojin and Hana—who lit up at the sight of her tangerine bag. “Oh my gosh, these are adorable!” Soojin said, snagging one with a “Go team!” doodle.
“Right?” Y/N beamed, handing Hana a “You rock!” one. “Take as many as you want!”
She started passing out tangerines to the staff—each with an “SVT Staff” tag scribbled on—watching their faces light up. “This is the cutest thing ever!” a lighting tech said, peeling a “Keep it up!” one. “You’re a legend!”
“Just spreading some joy!” Y/N said, cheeks pink but pleased. This is why I do it.
The boys trickled in, looking like they’d rolled out of bed—hair messy, eyes half-open. Stylists whisked them off for wardrobe, and Wonwoo was the first to shuffle into the makeup room. He spotted Y/N and grinned. “Hey, you again! Got any tangerines today?”
“Uh, yeah!” she said, handing him one with a “Fighting!” doodle. “Here you go!”
“Sweet,” he said, pocketing it. “You’re the best.”
One by one, the members filtered in—Joshua grabbing a “Smile!” tangerine, Vernon snagging a “You’re cool!” one from the basket she’d set on the table. The room buzzed with chatter and laughter, tangerines disappearing fast. “Who brought these?!” Hoshi yelled, waving a tiger-faced one. “I love this!”
But no Seungkwan. Y/N glanced around, nerves tingling. Where is he? She brushed foundation on Mingyu, lined DK’s eyes, trying to stay calm. Maybe he’s late. Maybe I’ll dodge him entirely. The thought was half-relief, half-disappointment.
Jiwoo leaned over, whispering, “No Seungkwan yet. You’re safe—for now.”
“Shush!” Y/N hissed, blending blush on Jun’s cheeks. “Don’t jinx it!”
The room was a circus—boys joking, tangerines rolling—and Y/N clung to her brushes, hoping her magical tangerines would keep the chaos in her favor. Nothing’s gonna happen, she told herself. Right? But deep down, she wasn’t so sure.
--------------------------------------------------------------
The makeup room was a whirlwind of chatter and citrus-scented chaos—tangerines rolling off the table, members laughing, Y/N brushing highlighter onto Hoshi’s cheeks. Then the door swung open, and Seungkwan stepped in. The room went dead silent. Every member froze, their smiles dropping like they’d been caught mid-crime. Y/N’s brush hovered over Hoshi’s face, her heart plummeting.
Seungkwan’s eyes landed on her, and Hoshi—blissfully oblivious—grinned wide. “Oh, Seungkwan! The tangerine fairy’s here!” he chirped, pointing at Y/N like she was a prize on display.
Y/N’s world tilted. Her brush clattered to the table, and she froze, wishing the floor would swallow her whole. “This is Minseo’s fault,” she muttered under her breath, cheeks blazing. I’m never covering for her again!
The silence shattered. “Tangerine fairy?!” Mingyu burst out, clapping his hands. “No way! It’s really her?!”
“Seungkwan’s mystery girl!” DK hooted, nearly knocking over his own tangerine stash. “She’s real!”
Jeonghan leaned against the wall, smirking like the menace he was. “Told you, Seungkwan. Fate.”
Y/N wanted to vanish. “I-I’m just here to do makeup!” she squeaked, waving her hands. “It’s not—I mean—!”
“Oh, come on!” Hoshi teased, nudging her arm. “You’re the legend! Seungkwan’s been whining about you for years!”
“I have not!” Seungkwan yelped, his voice hitting a pitch only dogs could hear. “Stop it, hyung! You’re making it weird!”
“It’s already weird!” Vernon chimed in, peeling a “You’re cool!” tangerine. “She’s got the doodles and everything!”
Y/N sank lower, brushing Hoshi’s face on autopilot. Why me? She finished him up—“You’re done!”—and he hopped off, still grinning. The other two makeup artists, Soojin and Hana, were busy with DK and Vernon, leaving Seungkwan as the last one standing. No escape. He shuffled over and plopped into her chair, the tangerine basket between them like a tiny, citrus-filled elephant in the room.
She stood there, rooted, staring at her brushes like they’d save her. Seungkwan tilted his head, waving a hand. “Uh… hello? Earth to tangerine fairy?”
Her head snapped up, cheeks flaming. “S-Sorry!” she stammered, grabbing a sponge. “I’m—uh—starting now!”
“Cool,” he said, smiling that bright, fan-meeting smile. “Make me look good, okay? I trust you.”
“R-Right!” she squeaked, dabbing foundation on his face with shaky hands. He’s so calm! Does he know? Does he not? The room buzzed again, the members resuming their teasing whispers, but Seungkwan just sat there, oblivious—or pretending to be.
“So,” he said casually, “you’re really good at this makeup thing, huh?”
“Oh, um, thanks!” she mumbled, blending like her life depended on it. “It’s just… my job!”
“And the tangerines?” he asked, his tone light but his eyes flicking to the basket. “That’s your thing too, right?”
Her sponge slipped, smudging a streak across his cheek. “Oops! Sorry! Uh—yeah, I guess! I just… like making people smile!”
He chuckled, soft and warm. “You’ve been doing that for a long time, then.”
Her heart stopped. What did he just say?! She fumbled for a wipe, pretending she hadn’t heard, but Jeonghan’s cackle from the corner told her she wasn’t imagining it. “Hyung, stop laughing!” Seungkwan snapped, glaring over her shoulder.
“I’m not!” Jeonghan lied, smirking. “Just… enjoying the show!”
Y/N focused on Seungkwan’s face—don’t blush, don’t blush—but her cheeks were already a lost cause. “Almost done!” she said, voice trembling. “Just… eyes now!”
“Take your time,” he said, grinning. “I’m in good hands. Right, tangerine fairy?”
She nearly dropped the brush. He knows. He totally knows. The room’s teasing faded to a dull roar as she fought to keep her cool, one brush stroke at a time. Minseo, you owe me big.

She nearly dropped the eyeliner. He knows. He totally knows. The room’s teasing faded to a dull roar as she fought to keep her cool, one brush stroke at a time. Minseo, you owe me big.

This idea has been floating in my mind for these few days and who else to request to instead of the best (you)
SO
What if.. The oc broke her hand (Harsh ik 😔) How would svt help her with her daily tasks and WHAT exactly
Love ur work a lot!! <3
this is actually such a cute idea so strap in! i'm gonna put it in the ask for you 💗

seventeen and a s/o with a broken hand
(warnings: none! hint of angst in seokmin's but that's it)
seungcheol as the protective one
seungcheol would be the one to tell you (force you, in all honesty) not to move a muscle, so much so you'd have to remind him that your wrist was broken, not your whole body. of course, seungcheol feels like he has to take care of you in any and every situation, and it applies to breaking your hand, too. he's running any errands you're asking him to (or aren't even asking), and will not let you move an inch. i think seungcheol is a man of many talents and can do whatever you ask of him easily.
jeonghan as the lighthearted one
jeonghan will laugh at you if you stupidly broke your hand, without hesitation. he does it to lighten your mood, but if you get tired or annoyed by the jokes, he'll stop immediately. jeonghan's low energy himself, but he'll do anything for you while your hand is broken. he also kisses your broken hand and helps you slowly get back to moving it once you're fully healed. jeonghan likes to do the dishes and laundry for you as you sit on the couch.
joshua as the doctor-like one
joshua was the reason you found out you had a broken hand; at first, you thought it was just a bad ache, but joshua noticed your slight discomfort after a few days and told you to go get it checked out. now that he knows your hands are broken, he'll take care of you well, ensuring you have everything you need while telling you to focus on healing up. he sketches on your hand-cast, drawing flowers, stars, and rockets to help you cheer up. joshua helps you stay warm and full in bed, bringing you food and blankets when you ask.
jun as the worried one
jun is freaking out when you told him you think you broke your hand. when it was confirmed, jun actually breathed a sigh of relief before crying that evening. jun has always seen you care for him when he was hurt, but now that the roles are reversed, jun is scared he's not doing it right. jun stays by you at all times, helping you with simple tasks when you ask. he specializes in cooking your favorite dishes when you ask him.
hoshi as the soft one
hoshi is known to be a very excitable, jumpy person, but when your hand becomes broken, he's a whole different person. he's soft and slow-moving, careful around you as he helps you around the house. hoshi's never seen you in so much pain before, and even the jokes you crack don't help hoshi lighten up. he opens up to you later, telling you he just wants to do the best for you to heal. hoshi will spend his time cleaning your shared room or doing housework.
wonwoo as the attentive one
wonwoo is definitely paying attention to how you're feeling and what's going on with you when your hand's broken. he knows what to do and what not to do, and spends his time making sure you do those things needed to help you heal quicker. wonwoo is a very attentive person, watching how your face contorts at the touch of your broken hand or how you delicately try to watch how your hand is lying. he assists you in any way he can.
woozi as the serious one
when woozi finds out you broke your hand, he doesn't waste any time getting down to business. he hears the doctor's reports and asks all the questions he can before getting you home. woozi was never really one to bother you unless you asked, but you were awfully quiet, and it made him nervous, so he finds busy work to do to keep his mind off of how sad you've seemed to get. woozi goes and buys groceries, always bringing back your favorite snacks and drinks.
dokyeom as the soft one
god bless dokyeom's soul: he's so worried about you. he always knew something was off when you came home clenching your hand, but when he found out that you had broken it, his heart was shattered. how did it happen? more importantly, why wasn't he there to stop it? it makes dokyeom feel bad, knowing he couldn't be there to maybe prevent the situation, but he does his best to keep his smile for you. dokyeom gives your broken hand extra care, keeping it moisturized and massaged when it starts to ache in the cast.
mingyu as the caring one
mingyu is already whipped for you, but when you break your hand and become unable to do things for yourself, mingyu takes it upon himself to do everything for you. you find it very cute, how mingyu scrambles over himself to do simple things for you. you have to remind mingyu you can still do things yourself, and he begrudgingly allows you to, secretly watching you from afar to make sure you're okay. he likes to cook for you the most, always asking you what you want before cooking it quickly and bringing it to you.
minghao as the understanding one
minghao doesn't really know how you broke your hand, but it still hurts him to see you so reserved and stationery. minghao is a very calm person, so he helps you stay calm and relaxed during your healing period. he's doing all the errands for you, and staying close to you no matter where you are just in case you need him. he doesn't want to overwhelm you or rush you to get better, but wants to keep his eyes on you as often as possible. likes to make you tea and even reads books to you if you want him to.
seungkwan as the humble one
you love doing things for seungkwan: it's your love language. when you break your hand, though, seungkwan finally thinks it's time to repay you for all of your sweet acts. he's very soft with you the next few weeks, helping you do whatever you need him to do ALSO while encouraging you to aid yourself in getting healed faster. seungkwan is very considerate when it comes to what you want and need, and doesn't mind getting it or doing it for you. seungkwan usually helps you with dishes, also ordering food for you if you want it.
vernon as the nonchalant one
lowkey feel like vernon will take care of you as well as any other person just because he has experience breaking his own hand. he knows what's good and what makes the pain ease up, and helps you through everything you need. vernon finds it cute when you hold out your broken hand to him, asking him to kiss it (and he does, without hesitation). vernon will put on records while organizing things for you as you sit on the couch, watching him work as he keeps you in conversation.
dino as the overzealous one
dino is very dramatic when he hears that you've broken your hand; he's screaming and almost on the verge of tears, and he's not even the one with the broken hand. dino panics a lot because he's not sure if he can take care of you or watch you like you need to be watched, but tries his hardest anyway. dino is like your shadow over the next few weeks, watching you and what you do with concerned eyes. he's helping you with whatever task you need and will beg you for something to do if he feels like he's not helping.

dom!hoshi who jerks himself off because he feels too hot and wants to fuck you, but he still has some lessons to teach you.
you reach out to help him, but he doesn’t let you touch him, as a punishment for being too friendly with one of his best friends.
dom!hoshi who makes you touch yourself for him, despite of your pleas for him to be inside you.
dom!hoshi who "you had me watch you give attention to another man for hours… you can and will wait until i feel like fucking you."
dom!hoshi who breaks after the first few tears fall from your eyes.
you feel way too wet, and already tired of orgasming, even if they weren’t satisfying enough. you needed hoshi to wreck you. and when you start crying out of frustration, he goes absolutely feral.
dom!hoshi who fucks you from behind, slipping in so easily because of how wet you are. he holds your waist harshly, in an almost bruising manner.
your heart thumps loudly in your chest and you moan just the way you know he likes. after a while, he pulls you up and holds you by your tits, playing with your neglected nipples while grunting in your ear.
dom!hoshi who picks up the rhythm when he feels you clenching around him. "is my baby going to cum again?" and when you nod, he circles your clit to help you. "cum for me, my love. i need to feel you on my dick."
dom!hoshi who paints your inner walls white as soon as you reach your high, not being able to handle the way you clenched around him.
dom!hoshi who feeds you a bit of your mixed juices, smiling when you open your mouth keenly.
dom!hoshi who’s on top of you again, not needing a lot of time before being ready to go for another round.

Genre: Fluff
~Requested by anon~
A/N: THIS IS MY FIRST REQUEST OMG! Thank you anon for requesting this and i hope u enjoy reading it!
===============
Wonwoo has always been the romantic kind when it comes to dating. He would buy you flowers and chocolates, cook for you, bake for you, take you out on dates, anything. He would literally do anything for you.
But lately he has been busy with work and haven't had the time with you that he wanted. So, today he took you to a nearby cafe that has recently opened. You had mentioned it to him and said that you want to pay a visit there. And being the gentleman he is, he took you there for a date.
The second you stepped into the cafe, you could smell the scent of freshly baked goods and coffee. You walked to a table at the back and chose a table next to a window and sat down. Wonwoo sat across from you so that he could admire your smiley face. A waiter came to your table and while you were ordering, you heard a click sound.
You ignored it at first, but after the waiter left you turned to Wonwoo. "Did you just take a picture of me?" You asked with a little smile. "Couldn't help it. You looked so handsome" He told you smiling and the tip of your ears turned red.
"And you still do" He said and captured another photo of you with his phone. "Stoopp" You whined and covered your face with your hands. Wonwoo let out a chuckle and took one more photo of you before he put his phone down.
A couple minutes passed by and you got your coffees, brownies and cake pops. You took your cup of coffee in your hands and almost took a sip, when you heard another click. You quickly turned to Wonwoo and he had his phone in his hand, smiling at the picture he just took. "Woo! You can't do that, I look so bad right now!" You looked out the window to avoid eye contact with the man sitting across from you. "Don't be harsh on yourself. You look so good babe" He said and took a bite of a brownie.
You sat there talking to him about some work stuff and how annoying your boss is and he was listening untill he took another photo of you and you stopped talking. "I swear to god Wonwoo, take another picture and i'll shove that phone down your throat" You said and he put the phone down. "Sorry love, you just look so good right now. I'm sorry if i made you mad." He apologized and you smiled. "It's fine, seriously" Wonwoo smiled at you and reached for your hand. You put your hand on top of his and he rubbed it with his thumb and you let out a chuckle.
You took a sip of your coffee and a bite of your cake pop. You felt your phone vibrate in your pocket and decided to check who messaged you. It was a group chat with Wonwoo, you and some other members of seventeen.
Wonwoo sent a picture of you to the group chat. It was a really good picture where the sun hit your skin just perfectly to make it shine and the picture captured your side profile, which was perfect. The text under the photo said: "He looks so good right now I'm so lucky to have him"
"Wonwoo!" You yelled out of embarrassment, but not loud enough to draw attention from other people sitting in the cafe.
You once again buried your face in your hands and this time your whole face was red. Wonwoo laughed softly at your reaction and soon got up from his seat and walked around the table to sit next to you. He took your hands in his own. "M/N, babe, look at me" He said in a calm tone and you met his eyes with your own. "You don't need to be embarrassed. You're really handsome and the others are saying that the picture is good and that you look amazing. See?" Wonwoo showed you the others' responds:
Hoshi: This picture is so awesome and M/N looks so good😎 Why can't i look that good😭
Dk: Wonwoo why is your boyfriend so good-looking :0
You read some other responses too and couldn't help but laugh.
Wonwoo texted them back.
Woo: M/N said he appreciates the compliments, but he's mine so stay away from him >:(

The woman woke up fully rested. She was even shocked to see the time because she thought she had slept the entire day. Her stomach ache and migraine from the night before were almost too much to bear that it had tired her out.
Today she felt much better. She had done her morning routine, brushed her teeth, and applied her skincare before setting out the door.
The weather was perfect considering how all the members were going to be busy today. She managed to catch some of her members in the kitchen.
“Good morning.” She smiled, stretching her arms out as she watched Dokyeom pound pork.
“Rise and shine, Jangmi.” Joshua welcomed her in as he was also preparing breakfast.
“What are you making?” She watched as they prepared all the ingredients.
“Pork cutlet.” Dokyeom showcased the pork to her. “Hoshi wanted me to make him some.”
“At least we can all count on you to feed us.” She patted his shoulder before taking a seat at the table.
“Are you feeling better today?”
“Oh yes! Much better. I have to thank Jeonghan when he comes around.” She nodded, pulling her phone out of her pocket and setting it on the surface. “I hate being a girl sometimes.”
She watched their reactions, snorting at how they looked like they had no idea how to reply to her comment.
“Dokyeomie, you should teach me how to cook sometime.”
“I feel like I’d need to map out a whole curriculum for you.” He joked, making the other members laugh along with him.
“You should feel honored I’m asking you instead of resorting to Youtube videos.”
The members started joining in the dining room one by one, all waiting for the pork cutlet to be done. When it was finally served to the members, they didn’t hesitate in giving it a taste. The second the food hit her taste buds, she wanted to curse.
“Oh my god, this is amazing.” She covered her mouth as she chewed the pork, eyes wide as she shook her head.
Joshua pointed at her as Rosie managed to get a laugh out of him. As everyone finished up eating, they came to the conclusion that they would draw a spoon to see who would clean up. When Wonwoo pulled the unlucky spoon, Rosie frowned while shaking her fists.
“Wonwoo! Fighting!”
The rest of the members scattered as she was left in the dining room with Wonwoo. The day was designated for all their soopket list activities, so Rosie wanted to prepare for her and Dino’s picnic.
“Can I keep you company?” She asked Wonwoo, scrolling through her phone for picnic ideas. “I’ll clean up my mess, I promise.”
“Of course.” Wonwoo quickly put on gloves before starting the dishes.
“Have you ever been on a picnic?”
“Maybe when I was younger? I can’t remember.”
“I don’t know what to bring. I’m thinking of fruits and sandwiches but do you have any ideas?”
He listed ideas off the top of his head, Rosie making a list in her notes app before preparing food for the picnic later.
She made her way up to the playhouse, planning to use her spare time to play some games. She had finished all the treats she was going to bring to the picnic and was shocked to see that Dino had left with the guys to go fishing.
She was sulking since she had prepared the food in advance and also put on a cute outfit for their picnic. As she entered the playhouse, she was met with Joshua and Jun who were making crafts on the floor.
“What are you guys making?” She asked, plopping down on the chair and turning on the computer.
“A panda.” Jun held up his little model. As Rosie got a good look at it, she clapped her hands together for him.
“It kinda looks like a cat.” She smiled.
“What are you doing?” Joshua looked up from his project and towards her.
“I was supposed to go on a picnic with Chan, but now I have to wait till he gets back from fishing.” She frowned, slouching in her chair and logging into one of her games.
“Hopefully they won’t take too long. There’s still lots of daylight left.”
“I even made a bunch of snacks and packed everything nicely too.”
“We should tell them to hurry up. Jangmi can’t even cook and she went through all this trouble.” Jun jokes, sitting up straight to stretch his limbs out before pulling out his phone.
“You guys act like I can’t even make a basic sandwich.” She crossed her arms, “But yes please tell them to hurry up. I miss him.”
After another hour, she finally heard a car roll up and checked out the window. She spotted Dino with the older members, quickly running out of the playhouse and skipping down towards them. “Ya!”
When she finally reached them, she wrapped her arms around Dino, trapping him in a hug as Seungcheol laughed at them.
“I’m stealing him. He’s mine now.” She furrowed her brows towards them as he giggled. “We still have to go on our picnic.”
“I know. I didn’t forget.” He tried wiggling out of her grasp. “But I smell like the river. Can I freshen up a bit?”
She pouted, letting go of him. “Fine. I’ll pack the car but be quick.”
“I will.” He smiled with a nod, pinching her chin before running up to the house. She hurried back to the dining room, taking all the snacks she prepared and storing them in a basket that she brought just for the picnic. She set the basket in the backseat of the car, along with a cozy blanket. By the time she was done, Dino had finished freshening up and was helping her load the car.
“Do you have everything?” He asked her, putting the things he was bringing in the front seat.
“Yes. Now let’s go. I’m hungry.” She got in on the driver's side, buckling her seatbelt and watching him do the same. She adjusted her mirrors and everything before taking a moment to rub her hands together and get excited about their picnic date.
“Are you hyped?” She smiled, putting her hands on the steering wheel before turning to look at him.
“I am. Where are we gonna set up?”
“I figured we could venture out a little and find a wooded place.” She finally put the keys in the ignition, driving away from where they were staying.
Dino couldn’t take his eyes off of her. She caught him staring out of the corner of her eye and couldn’t keep a straight face.
“Do I have something on my face?” She quickly turned to face him before her eyes returned to the road.
“Rosie is making her driving debut.” He teased her, chuckling before pulling out his phone to take a picture. “I have to capture this groundbreaking moment.”
“Have I really not driven on camera before?” She laughed nervously, checking her mirrors while feeling the pressure.
“This would be the first time.”
“Well now you’re making me nervous.” She fixed her posture in case someone were to criticize her driving skills.
“Don’t be nervous. Just drive as you always do.”
“As I always rarely do.” She nodded, pursing her lips.
“I was thinking the same thing for a second.” He covered his mouth before laughing and looking out the car window.
Once they finally reached their destination, Rosie turned the car off before sitting back against her seat for a few. “We made it.”
He unbuckled himself, leaning over the console and smiling at her. “Can I do anything to help?”
“No.” She turned her head, giving him a sly look before getting out of the car. “Just stay in here till I get things set up.”
So Dino stayed in the car, watching as she came back and forth between their spot and getting things out of the backseat.
“I feel bad that Rosie is doing all this by herself.” He spoke to the camera that was in front of him on the dashboard. “But she told me to stay put so I’m not going to go against her wishes.”
Rosie finished up, going to his side and opening his door. “Alright, close your eyes.”
“I have to close my eyes?”
“Yes, now come on.” She motioned for him to get out. She quickly covered his eyes just in case he were to peek. She carefully led him in front of the blanket, her hands falling to his waist. “Okay, open.”
Dino opened his eyes, gasping at the cute picnic setup. The first thing he noticed were the fruit kabobs stacked on top of each other along with cheese and crackers. Then the strawberry and egg sandwiches. She also prepped onigiri.
“Wow.” He was clearly in shock. “Did you make all this?” He turned around to face her. She folded her hands and smiled up at him before nodding. She was looking forward to having a picnic with him way before she filled out her bucket list. She had even managed to match her outfit with the blanket, her cropped sweater tying everything together for the perfect weather.
He sighed, pulling her into a tight hug as she wrapped her arms around him. “I’m sorry for making you wait. If I had known-“
“Shh. You’re here now, so let’s enjoy our picnic.” She let go of him, going to sit on the blanket before remembering she didn’t take any pictures. “Well after I take some pictures.”
Dino laughed as she grabbed her bag from the car and searched for her phone, along with her instant camera. She even instructed him to sit down and pose for her before joining him.
“Let’s dig in.” She rubbed her hands together, Dino immediately going for one of the sandwiches.
She slowly ate one of the fruit kabobs, impatiently waiting for him to take a bite to see if she made it edible enough. When he finally did, his eyes grew twice in size and she was worried he hated it.
“Is it bad?” She pursed her lips until he shook his head and covered his mouth with his hand.
He forgot to swallow, talking with the food in his mouth. “No! It’s good! Really good!”
“Really? Are you lying?”
“No, it’s so yummy!”
She smiled wide with her teeth, blushing as she grabbed a sandwich too. She didn’t taste them while making it, so she felt proud of herself when she discovered that they were indeed yummy.
“Wow.” She chewed her food, covering her mouth. “This is actually pretty good considering I followed a tutorial for it.” She finished her sandwich in no time.
“Here, have some fruit. Aren’t they cute?” She picked up one of the fruit kabobs by the stick, holding it out for him. She giggled like an idiot as he bit down on the strawberry, struggling to get it off the stick but succeeding after a few attempts.
“You can hold it yourself, you know.”
“I know, but it’s better when you feed me.” Rosie rolled her eyes, quickly swatting his shoulder.
She almost forgot that she brought along bubbles, digging it out of the basket and unscrewing the cap. “I feel like I’m in a drama.” She joked before blowing through the wand.
Dino laughed, trying to pop the bubbles with his finger as they floated by. “You really outdid yourself.”
She shrugged her shoulders, smiling as she put the bubbles away and starting to eat the onigiri.
Dino had laid down against the blanket, his head resting against her lap as he shut his eyes. He was able to take in the nature that surrounded them, Rosie blocking the sun from hitting his face.
She fed him a strawberry, her free hand running through his hair while looking down at him.
“This is perfect.” He praised her again, not being able to stop himself from showing his appreciation. He wanted her to know how proud and endeared he was. “Let’s do this more often.”
“I don’t know if I can put food together like this again. I think I just got lucky.”
“I can help you next time. It can’t be that hard, right?”
She smacked her lips, snorting as she argued against his claim. “Wonwoo almost witnessed me have three mental breakdowns. I wouldn’t be so sure.”
He opened his eyes, pouting at her before pinching her chin.

SVT as DnD Classes
I got bored. I am a nerd. Here’s Seventeen as Dungeons and Dragons classes.
No warnings or pairings or anything. Just nerd shit.
Thank you @onlymingyus for your help.
Seungcheol: Paladin; This man is a fighter, but with a purpose. He fights for Seventeen, and their wellbeing. He fights for his members, for Carats… so they can know peace and justice. Sure, he’s a “beefy marshmallow” (as once seen to accurately describe him), but when it comes to his family and members and Carats? He’s going to fight to make sure they’re treated fairly and are heard (ISAC referee, anyone?)
Jeonghan: Artificer; Primary ability? Intelligence. Jeonghan has plenty of it. He’s smart and crafty, even if he punches a hot plate or two. While he has put his intelligence to his own use (really more of his alignment than anything), we know he uses those powers for good when it comes to his members. He takes care of them, in ways people don’t tend to see. Which is part of the mystery of what kind of artificer he’d be.
Joshua: Warlock; Now this man could have gone one of two ways. Cleric or warlock. Warlock seems more fitting for him, because Joshua oozes charisma. He had a whole stadium screaming his name because he wasn’t satisfied with how they sounded the first time. He’s used water magic, altered himself (running backwards!), and who’s to say “Sunday Morning” isn’t his main choice of enchantment?
Jun: Rogue; This man will come out of the shadows with an attack, and make his members absolutely lose it. His bit on camping TTT that made everyone crack up? He’s sneaky, quick, and dexterous. He is precise and fluid. He knows just where to hit. Stealthy. Skillful. Dangerous.
Hoshi: Druid; He can be a spider, tiger, or hamster. He can converse with birds. He is one with nature, and nature is one with him. We’ve seen him play a rat. He has even held the power of fire during Be the Sun. There is not a more perfect Druid in this group than him. It’s really no surprise he spends more time in tiger form than human.
Wonwoo: Wizard; Magic user, but make it bookish. Wonwoo, lover of books and big words, is the wizard in this adventure party. He tends to hang back, his magic being cast from a distance. He is quick with his tongue, so he can cast his spells with ease. He takes care of his members, putting his skills to good use. Of course, his members repay this by taking care of him as well. If one party member falls, then they all fall.
Woozi: Sorcerer; If there was anyone in this group that can weave spells and magic into what they do, it’s going to be Woozi. His musical talents are otherworldly, and well known. He uses them to draw people, even his members, into the group. He spins stories and evokes emotions, sometimes with the help of others (no sorcerer would be able to do it alone all the time). He has the gift, and he definitely uses it for good.
DK: Cleric; He’s a fighter (hello, King Arthur), but he’s also a healer. One smile on his face can heal, his laugh a salve for the soul. He will fight (sparring with Seungcheol!), but he’s going to make sure that his members and Carats are happy and healthy. As he sings, he’s weaving his magic through everyone. And he sure is one of the best healers this world has ever seen.
Mingyu: Barbarian; While barbarians are known for their rage, that’s not why he is one. He’s strong, he takes care of his members… even if he’s scared of bugs and heights. Sure, if he’s cornered he’s going to probably snap, but it would definitely take a lot for him to reach that point. Who says a barbarian can’t have a soft side?
Minghao: Monk; Harnessing his power within to perform the way he does? Lithe, powerful, graceful. Meditating when he needs to. Tea ceremonies to center himself and pay respect. He’s trained for years to reach where he is, and he’s always looking to learn and grow more. Plus, he can break a watermelon open with his bare hand, so he has Flurry of Blows down.
Seungkwan: Bard; Athlete, singer, dancer, jokester… he commands a room, an audience, or even an entire stadium. He puts these skills to use to heal his members, inspire others, and find allies in some of the unlikeliest of places. He’s not just a performer, he’s magic.
Vernon: Ranger; Sure he’s surrounded by twelve other guys, but this man could exist alone and be perfectly okay. He’s just some dude. He likes doing his own thing, but can just as easily be comfortable with the others. Just because he’s scared of bugs, doesn’t mean he won’t fight them if his members need him to (giant moths beware). He definitely knows how to speak with animals, and he definitely feels comfortable within nature.
Chan: Fighter; Future of kpop? More like fighter of kpop. He has twelve older brothers to contend with, a demanding industry… he knows how to fight to get what he wants. He’s well rounded in his skills, so he’s going to use everything he’s got to be victorious. Strength and dexterity. He’s trained for anything that gets thrown at him, though his own members can manage to take him off guard.

My favorite Going Seventeen episodes

In honor of the return of GoSe, my favorite past episodes!
2019 ep 5 Caratland Behind - Solely for DK and Jeonghan's recording of BRING IT. Jeonghan's lil "tu~rn left" was so cute but I was totally blown away by DK's angry rap. So much 'tude, possibly fiercer than the original. :0
2019 ep 17-18 Karaoke Escape Room - The moment Hoshi is dramatically drawing out the last lyrics to some random old song that they don't know and the 100 points shows up on screen and everyone absolutely loses their shit. Also, the members being relatable AF because they can't do math.
2020 ep 5-6 Past Life Destiny - Where do I even start? DK full on grinding the floor and getting up close and personal with the camera during his intro dance. JiHan's chaotic reenactment of a scene from "I'm Sorry I Love You" where Shua throws himself out of the car (not scripted). All the SeokSoon drama. As a bonus, Seungkwan sang DBSK's Hug while DK was choosing his partner and I squealed!
2020 ep 9 Insomnia Zero - Birth of Wonwoo's iconic ~tasty~ and when I learned that Woozi has no chill.
2020 ep 21-22 Kartrider - "Booster! Booster! Booster! YAH! BOOSTER!" - Hoshi failing to get a booster, 2020
2020 ep 23-24 Seventeen's Got Talent - Seventeen is so good at adlib humor, they just take the concept and go hard. Too many amazing characters! My favorites were diva judge Boo, sloth rapper Hoshi, musical actor Jun, angry ballad singer DK, robot Shua, and of course "Jun" aka mischievous Minghao.
2020 ep 25-26 The8 and the Shadows - Minghao wanted to be the leader for a day and the GoSe team gave him what he wanted... kinda lol. Favorite moments include the impromptu "We Will Rock You", DK's sogo dance, Jeonghan casually throwing water at Shua, and Shua getting everyone to imitate the voodoo doll he threw on the floor multiple times.
2020 ep 33 Mousebusters - Not so much for the actual Mousebusters part but the orange and grape games they did after. Seventeen takes games EXTREMELY SERIOUSLY.
2020 ep 40-41 Don't Lie II - Hoshi absolutely slayed this season of Don't Lie and he knows it. There's something so satisfying about seeing his chaotic thought process pan out to actually be correct.
2020 ep 44-45 TTT - I enjoy all of the TTTs but the focus on "hyperrealism" made this one even better because it seemed like the members were simultaneously more and less aware of the cameras and making content for the show. It had all of our favorite SVT pastimes - eating and drinking, badly played sports, games they've played a thousand times, and overly-enthusiastic karaoke.
2020 ep 46 Going Magazine - Minghao styled Hoshi sooooo well for the shoot, holy crap. Praise the denim crop top. And Mingyu was carrying this whole project so hard, this is when I first started to appreciate how hardworking and talented he is in other artistic ventures outside of just performing.
2021 ep 11 Ad Genius - Honestly too many meme-worthy moments to count, but my top are: Shua putting Shin Ramen in his hair, Jeonghan putting gochujang on his eyebrows, and Coups proposing to Dino with all kinds of products while Hoshi sings 2AM's "This Song" in the background.
2021 ep 24 Tribal Games - The Whispering in Silence game is probably my most rewatched Seventeen clip ever. Hoshi "epik"-ly screwing everything up makes me laugh every time.
2022 ep 37 How to Eat Rice - We must pay our respects to two members who threw away their idol image for this episode: 1) DK, the hungry rice monster, and 2) Shua, who poured a bucket of ice water over himself to prove that ramen tastes the best when you're cold. Double respects to Shua because he didn't even win after all of that lol.
2022 ep 50 GOING Radio Show - Dino going "look at my fit!" while Vernon is fighting for his life keeping his laughter in is one of the first clips I ever saw of Seventeen and it's still hilarious. The whole corner with Jeonghan and Dino learning English from Shua and Vernon was peak comedy.

Anyway, the two episodes that have been released so far have been really enjoyable! Lots of pun humor, member banter, and a surprise twist! I'm looking forward to Wednesdays now~

The audacity
Seventeen 14th member
Hayun’s masterlist
“Seventeen won’t take bs when it comes to Hayun”

(to my brazilians around, this gif is svt’s version of ninguem solta a mão de ninguem)
The arrival of dancers made the practice room even more crowded and noisy than usual. It was one of the few times Seventeen worked with an outside dance team, and they happened to have a lot of new faces around, who needed time to figure out the staging and how things were working so far.
After they ran through the choreography a couple of times, the choreographer called in a break, allowing the huge group to instantly clear the middle space and separate themselves into small circles of conversations.
Seungcheol, Jeonghan, and Joshua instantly met each other and began chatting about dinner plans and whatnot. Slowly approaching Jun and Wonwoo, the oldest filled them in on what they're deciding until he starts searching for someone.
“So, we could order it on the next break and have someone grab it for us. Anyway, did anyone see Hayun?”
“Making friends, as usual,” Wonwoo comments, pointing at the other corner of the room where the girl was surrounded by four dancers.
“Hayun-ah” The leader waves her over and waits as she jogs to his side “We're talking about dinner, what do you think about-”
“Oh, those guys were talking about this new restaurant that opened downtown, I was thinking of tagging along with them” She points back at the group and watches as her members nod “But I can cancel, of course”
“No, go ahead. It's just a meal” Joshua goes to wave her off when Seungkwan approaches them with crossed arms.
“Yeah. Just a meal. Until she's suddenly ditching us during the holidays and moving out with her new friends” The boy pouts, turning his face away from the group. Hayun reaches up to ruffle his hair before landing a soft slap.
“Says the dude who is friends with half of the entertainment industry” Ignoring his eye roll, she turns back to the rest of their little huddle “Well, if nobody else will feel betrayed”
“I was kidding” Seungkwan whines and Scoups pushes her away from them “Stop being dramatic and go do your mingling”
Going back to the group of dancers, Hayun resumes chatting with them for a couple of minutes before the break is over.
After more hours of running over every tiny detail for the stage, the rehearsal finally ends and the scattering of people begins. Hayun takes a couple of minutes talking about minor adjustments with the members and just checking up on them before searching for the four friends she had made that evening.
“Hey, how do you guys plan on heading there?” She asks, taking a sip from her water bottle and missing the glances between the two boys and two girls.
“Actually, we might have to do it another day,” The girl closest to her says and flips a hair strand off of Hayun's shoulder. “We got pretty tired from this last session”
“And work tomorrow it's going to start pretty early, you know. It's best to let this go for today,” The boy nods to her before pulling out his phone from his pocket and slightly turning away from the idol.
“Yeah, I get it. That's okay, we'll reschedule it then” Hayun smiles and gives them a thumbs up “I'll head to the dorms, then. Have a good rest, and tomorrow we'll talk more”.
Sending her some quick waves and small smiles, the four dancers waited for Hayun to turn around before sharing an annoyed look and sighing.
The practice room slowly grows empty, only leaving Wonwoo and Vernon who lost an incredible game of rock, paper, scissors, and had to stay behind to clean up everything. Finally turning off the lights, the two boys head out into the hallway and spot a group of four people standing by the entrance.
“Aren't those the people Hayun was talking to earlier,” Vernon asks quietly before a voice from the group reaches them.
“Why is this damn cab taking so long? We should have let that airhead tag along”.
“Agreed. She would have talked our ears off, but at least we would have made it to the club already”.
Sharing a look, the two idols stop walking and listen closely to understand if the dancers are talking about what the boys think they're talking about.
“That was so stupid. Why would you invite her in the first place? She's so annoying”.
“I mean, having an idol considering you a friend would be fun, right? Especially with the Christmas season coming up. Can you imagine the gifts she would buy us?”
“Yeah, dude. We wouldn't even need to worry about paying for stuff anymore. Just have Hayun tag along anywhere and, boom, no more tabs to pay.”
“But also, no more functioning eardrums”
“No, you have a point. She seems like she'd give us her credit card password on the third time we hung out. Not to mention, looking at her position in contrast with ours. You don't even have to befriend her, but be on her good side, and she'll make sure to give us more gigs within Pledis”.
Standing frozen, Wonwoo and Vernon listened to everything they were saying and shared looks of disbelief. Having enough of it, the oldest cleared his throat and slung his bag, making it hit his own back with enough force to make a thumping sound.
“Let's go, Vernon,” He ignored the four people standing before them with wide eyes and resumed walking. Once shoulder to shoulder with one of the dancers, Wonwoo stopped again and said while looking ahead, “Next time, be careful of whom you're talking about”.
Vernon, on the other hand, made eye contact with each dancer before raising one eyebrow and following the oldest. After closing the car door, he groaned annoyed, “Can you believe they had… ”
“… the fucking audacity” Jeonghan places his cup on the table, face showcasing utter disgust after Wonwoo told him what they had listened before leaving the Pledis building.
“Show me who those people are again tomorrow. I'll make sure they never step inside our practice room, ever again,” Hoshi points out.
“Is there a way of not having them tomorrow? I'm afraid Scoups Hyung might commit murder” Dokyeom brought attention to the leader standing on the corner of the kitchen.
Looking like he was plotting an illegal act, Seungcheol scoffs and pushed himself away from the cabinets. “The bare minimum you would expect from someone is that they can be professional. I swear, those people are getting an earful for talking about Hayun within a billion-meter ratio from where I work”.
“It's best to let it rest until tomorrow's performance is done. After we'll probably never see them again, so there's not much point causing any visible disturbance.” Laying a hand on the leader's arm, Woozi tried to make some sort of sense, but all it did was cause Scoups to roll his eyes.
“We can't just act like nothing happened”
“We also can't change anything about the choreography until then” Hoshi butts in and takes a breath trying not to jump in the 'let's hunt them down' train.
“They already know Wonwoo and Vernon heard them trash-talking her, so I'm not letting them have it easy tomorrow.” Jeonghan rolls his eyes and pointed to both Woozi and Hoshi, “I'm speaking my mind the first moment I see those sons of bitches, you're free to wait until the show's over”.
“About that, I don't think we should tell Hayun what happened” Joshua, who had been quiet the entire time, speaks, drawing attention to him. “Not until, as you said, the show is over, and we won't see them again. You know that she's probably going to get disappointed about it”.
“And you expect her to not go running to meet her new 'friends' once we arrive at the venue?” Wonwoo raises an eyebrow, but Mingyu shakes his head and backs the older up.
“We just have to keep her entertained around us. Fill in Dino, Seungkwan, and Myungho later, and have them help with making sure the group doesn't run into her”.
Raising his hand, Vernon casually mumbles “Maybe don't tell Seungkwan, he won't be able to hide his feelings about the whole thing”
“Myungho won't either” Jun comments and the room falls silent at the sound of the remaining members chatting and approaching the kitchen.
“Wow, you make a meeting and forget to call in the main characters” Hayun laughs walking through the room and opening the fridge for a beer “So, when's the food arriving?”
~
Hayun is sitting on the makeup chair, casually watching Scoups and Jeonghan whispering to each other from the mirror's reflection, when a hand lands on her shoulder and another holds out a smoothie for her.
“Whatcha thinking about?” Joshua sits on the chair next to her while Mingyu punctures the drink's lid with a straw.
Without taking her eyes off the mirror, she nods with her head to it. “Those two are up to something”
“Scoups and Jeonghan Hyung? Nah, they're always like that. Sharing secrets and stuff,” Mingyu giggles, shoving the straw inside her mouth and shifting to stand in front of the mirror. “Cute nail polish, when did you have time to get it done?”
“Oh, these are acrylics. This lady was just putting them on” Hayun falls into his trap and began analyzing the design with some occasional comments from the boys.
Peace has seemingly set inside the dressing room, yet it doesn't last long until Dino's loud “Uh?” caught the attention of the members, who turned to see what he and Vernon were doing.
Trying to shut the youngest up, Vernon makes it very obvious to the guys that he had just filled Dino in with the “frenemies” situation. Most of them try to brush it off and not bring more attention to it. Seungkwan, however, approaches them by, very loudly, asking what's up.
“What are you talking about?” He boringly fixes up his outfit. Vernon can feel the burning eyes of Jeonghan on his skull as he tries to deviate the conversation to another topic.
“Did you go see catering already? I heard they had a coffee machine”.
“Wait. Does he not know what happened?” Dino fails to read the room properly and instigates the older boy.
“What happened? Why is everyone sharing secrets all of a sudden? Is the thing you're discussing why Scoups Hyung seems ready to jump someone”.
The timing of events can't be worse, as the makeup artist taps Hayun's shoulder to let her know they were done. Within seconds, the girl gets up and turns to where the three youngest were standing.
“What's with the gossiping? Did Vernon lose his airpods again?” She brushes away from Joshua as he tried to hold her in place and waves off Mingyu when, in a panic, he suggests they should check out the pigeons outside.
“What? No! I mean, yeah! How unfortunate, isn't it?” Vernon jumps around his answers and tries looking for anyone willing to help him out.
“Just tell her about it” Approaching them from the door, Jeonghan, now without the leader's company, shrugs his shoulders, making Hayun raise an eyebrow.
“Jeonghan, at least wait until the day is over,” Joshua speaks through his teeth and the boy rolls his eyes.
“Well, she already knows something is up, and to be fair I don't know what good hiding this will bring. At least, if she feels like doing something about it, she'll have the chance right now”.
“Do something about it? Hadn't we agreed that the best is to wait until the performance is over and just never see them again?”
“What even are you talking about?” Hayun shuts them both up and Jeonghan and Joshua turned to her with annoyed expressions, “Don't even look at me like that. You're the ones mentioning me as if I'm not in the room”.
Placing a hand on her shoulder, Joshua tilts his head a little and speaks softly, “Trust me for a moment here, it's best if you brush it aside. Until later at least, and then we can settle it as you wish”.
“Wha- Just spill it out for fucks sake. I'm going to combust if you don't tell me right now whatever this all means,” Hayun puffs, punching his shoulder. Just as Joshua opens his mouth to say the same thing again, Jeonghan beats him and shoves himself in front of the girl.
“Do you recall those dancers you were planning to go out with yesterday? Yeah, well, turns out they're all little shits who were trash-talking you, and just overall talking crap, yesterday”
“Jeonghan” Joshua repressed the older who does nothing but wave him off.
“Doesn't matter what they said because you're nothing of it, and-” Adverting his eyes for a second, Jeonghan stares to the side, where half of Scoups' body is waving for him through the door. “And, and, you're amazing and all of that. So now go rest your awesome self while I go teach those punks a lesson”.
Zooming past her, Jeonghan runs to the door, where the leader is already back outside. Hoshi, Jun, Woozi, and DK, scream for him before also going out of the door. A very lost, Seungkwan, simultaneously tries to get Vernon to tell him what exactly the dancer said before while shouting for the older to wait for him to also speak his mind.
“I didn't want you to know about this before the performance, but-”
“Whatever, let's make sure nobody dies today” Hayun rolls her eyes and turns around, Wonwoo running from where he was watching everything and holding her by the shoulder.
“Do you want us to go fix that up? It's okay to give them the cold shoulder or just go off if you want to” Nodding, she keeps silent and walks out, bringing the rest of the guys behind her.
The8, who also had just found out about the situation, whispers to Vernon, “Can you believe they had the audacity?”
“I know, right?” The youngest whisper-yelled at him as they made it to the hallway and assessed the situation.
“The next time you even think about opening your mouth to talk about her-” Scoups had his finger pointing at the tallest dancer -who ironically had a few centimeters on him-, while the rest of the members stood next to him nodding and calmly listening to what the leader was saying.
“Oppa, just drop it,” Hayun shouts, walking past them and holding his shoulder.
Annoyingly, Scoups rolled his eyes and turned to her, “What do you mean, drop it?” Thinking for a second, he blinked and turned even more bothered, “Who even told you about this?”
The leader looked around until he found Mingyu, offending the tall guy who made an X in front of his body.
“Doesn't matter who told me. Let's just not lose time doing this” Brushing past him, Hayun now faced the dancers “Look, I'll teach you something right now, so grab it or drop it okay? I don't give a shit that you don't like me, or whatever, but at least be professional because all this situation did was teach me that none of you care about your careers. It's pretty clear by the angry puppy beside me that you just lost any chance of growing inside our brand, so keep this as a lesson and respect the artists you're working with. Also, once we're on stage put on a smile, so my fans won't be able to sense your shit”
“It should be pretty clear by what she said but you definitely don't have a chance to work with any Pledis artist again” Hoshi came from the end of the hallway alongside their manager and choreographer. The latter nodded and added.
“For the sake of the performance, you should all go back to your dressing rooms. You all said whatever was on your mind, so try to refocus during the last few minutes you have”.
“I didn't get to say what was on my mind” While the group was dispersing, DK mumbles on the side and Jun snorts.
“You had a chance, but all you did was stare at them and scowl until Scoups Hyung took the lead”
“I don't care about who said and who didn't say what they wanted” Hayun rolled her eyes, turning to the boys as they arrived in the room. Clasping her hands together, she brings them to her face and smiles, “You all care about me”.
“The fact you still doubted about it after years hurts me” Dokyeom held his chest and frowned, the girl laughs and goes to hug him.
“Group hug?” Seungkwan says uncertainly and Hoshi nods, dragging Woozi with him, “Group hug!”

Haruko In The SOOP Ep.4 : SOOPKET LIST

When it is announced that Jeonghan was killed by the mafia, Haruko is shocked. Her mouth falls open as she looks at him.
“Alright! I’m the police officer. Wonwoo, Shua, come here. Come here, I checked you two,” Seungcheol says, ushering them over to him. The ones sitting across from Seungcheol start to argue that Haruko and Mingyu aren’t checked, so they have to move. “You can go over there,” Seungcheol says to Mingyu and Haruko. Haruko pouts before being pulled up by Mingyu. She trudges over to sit between Seokmin and Jeonghan. She rests her head on Jeonghan’s shoulder, and he strokes her hair.
Haruko stays quiet besides some giggles when Mingyu and Hoshi keep trying to convince the others that the opposite one is the mafia. Her quietness makes the others forget that she is still playing and that she’s not out.

After Minghao, Woozi, and Hoshi are voted out, it’s night again.
“Mafia, wake up,” Dino says. Haruko slowly raises her head and opens her eyes. Hoshi starts silently laughing while Haruko smirks at him. “Pick someone to eliminate.”
A compilation then shows of how she reacted during the game and continuously made the others go against their beliefs of initially thinking that she was the mafia. Her cute actions in the beginning paid off.
Haruko points to Seungcheol. “Alright, it’s been decided,” Dino finishes. When it is Seungcheol’s turn to investigate, he chooses Seokmin, to which he gets told that he is not a mafia. He looks slumped and moves his head to the side while pursing his lips. When Mingyu chooses to save Seungcheol, the others are shown putting hands over their mouths as they know that Haruko is in a bad position.
“The morning has come,” Dino announces. Everyone raises their heads. “No one died.”
“I checked Dokyeom-ah; he’s a citizen,” Seungcheol starts quickly. The others start to get giddy. “And since no one died, the mafia must have chosen me, and then the doctor saved me, which I think is Mingyu. Wonwoo and Shua are citizens, so that leaves you,” Seungcheol finishes, pointing at Haruko with his index finger. All of the other members start to lose their shit, clapping and laughing loudly. Haruko laughs for a few seconds before stopping, getting into actor mode.
“No, but I’m the nurse. Mingyu is the mafia,” Haruko says with a serious face.
“No, no, no, what? It’s you! You’re the mafia!” Mingyu starts getting defensive, standing up. This makes the other members laugh even harder. Haruko manages to keep a straight face.
“You’re the mafia! I never said I was the nurse because I didn’t want to be killed! I kept saving myself this whole time until now,” Haruko explains. Wonwoo and Seokmin shake their heads while Joshua and Seungcheol look like they are considering her words.
“No way you guys are believing her!” Mingyu shouts at the two oldest still-playing members.
“I don’t want to believe that it’s Haruko. She’s been too cute this whole game,” Joshua says, making the others laugh.
“She’s been very quiet, so we know that she’s not a citizen,” Seungcheol states.
“She’s the mafia!” Mingyu screams defeatedly.
“You, on the other hand, are being very vocal. What if you are the mafia?” Seungcheol ponders, pointing at Mingyu.
“Are you dumb?” Mingyu asks, still standing up in disbelief. The other members are still dying laughing, watching everything happen.
“Let’s just vote,” Joshua tries to settle everything.
“Raise your hand if you vote for Mingyu,” Dino says. Haruko, Seungcheol, and Joshua all raise their thumbs. “Raise your hand if you vote for Haruko.” Wonwoo, Mingyu, and Seokmin all raise their thumbs. “It’s a draw, so it’s nighttime again.”
“Ah, I’m so mad,” Mingyu speaks through gritted teeth, closing his eyes and putting his head down.
Haruko ends up choosing to kill Seungcheol again. Seungcheol investigates Mingyu. When he is told that Mingyu is not the mafia, he looks at Haruko like he has been betrayed. The others are laughing silently. Mingyu saves Seungcheol again.
“It’s morning,” Dino states. Once everyone opens their eyes, Seungcheol is up and after Haruko. He practically jumps on her, who is still lying on Jeonghan. Everyone bursts out laughing again. He pulls her up from Jeonghan, and she curls away on the floor while laughing. She tries to curl up in a ball to protect herself as Seungcheol jokingly smacks her with a smile.
“Your acting improved a lot,” Hoshi comments while everything is happening. All of the members are laughing loudly.

As the members get ready for bed, Haruko is last seen on her bed next to Seungcheol, both of them looking tired.
In the morning, Haruko is first seen eating the pork cutlet. She is sitting next to Jeonghan and Minghao. She doesn’t say much as she is enjoying the food too much.

Haruko is next seen walking over to the cars with Vernon. They are talking about something when Jeonghan suddenly honks at them, startling both of them.
“My goodness!” Vernon exclaims, placing a hand on his heart.
“Ah, what?” Haruko shrieks. They both look to the left and see Jeonghan and Minghao in the car. They both go over to it, getting in the back seat.
“Yah~, the sky is so pretty,” Haruko marvels as they drive further into the forest. “It’s so picturesque,” Jeonghan agrees.
“I’ve always wanted to go skydiving, or bungee jumping, or paragliding. Just something in the air, like I’m flying,” Haruko says in her pre-show interview about the things that they wanted to do in the SOOP.
In the car, when Jeonghan calls his grandmother, Haruko’s smile grows at the mention of Jeonghan’s mother. She really likes Jeonghan’s mother and misses her because she hasn’t seen her in a while.
When they listen to GAM3 BO1, Haruko mouths the lyrics while dancing a little bit in her seat.

“There’s a stream right by,” Seungcheol says in the flashback to Haruko, Mingyu, Jun, and him driving to the SOOP.
“I want to just lay in the water,” Mingyu comments.
“It’s so nice here. You know what I want to do? The thing where you throw a net to fish,” Seungcheol states.
“The fishing net?” Mingyu asks.
“I know how to do that! I used to go fishing with my dad a lot down by the docks,” Haruko speaks up.
“Ah, really?” Jun asks.
“Yes, I know everything about fishing because of him. He always said that he had more luck when I was with him,” Haruko states proudly.
“I used to do that with my grandfather as a child,” Seungcheol says.

“Maybe we should have waited for Haruko to come with us,” Seungcheol suggests while fishing with Wonwoo and Dino.
“Why?” Dino asks.
“Because she used to go fishing with her father, and she always brought him luck,” Seungcheol replies.
“Maybe,” Wonwoo smiles.
“In order to catch fish, I probably should have taken other members. Those two were completely uninterested in fishing. Completely uninterested. I should have taken Haruko. She told me that she wanted to go, that she knew what to do, and that she brought luck. All things that the other two didn’t do,” Seungcheol says in his interview after going fishing.

While Haruko, Jeonghan, Vernon, and Minghao are getting ready to go paragliding, they are putting on their equipment.
“Look, I have a smaller jacket than you guys, and it’s still too big on me,” Haruko whines, showing off the way that her hands don’t come out of the sleeves of her oversized coat. The others laugh at her.
“Yah, you look like a penguin when you walk,” Jeonghan comments. Haruko takes some steps. Because of her thick pants and coat, it almost looks like she is waddling. The others laugh again. Haruko looks back at them with a big smile.

“Wa!” Haruko exclaims when Jeonghan jumps and starts to glide in the air. “That looks so fun!” she squeals. She looks at Minghao, who is nervous. “Don’t be nervous, oppa. It will be fun!”
When Minghao jumps next, Haruko cheers him on, giving him more encouragement. Vernon laughs nervously next to her. She nudges him, and he looks at her.
“Are you scared?” she taunts.
“Maybe,” Vernon admits, causing the two ‘98s to laugh.
“Don’t be. It will be like bungee jumping but more fun and relaxed.”
“How do you know?”
“I don’t. I’m just assuming,” she shrugs. Vernon gives her a look, making her burst out laughing.
“Who will go next?” one of the workers asks. Vernon looks at her.
“He can,” she answers. Haruko wanted Vernon to go next so that she would be able to encourage him. If she went first, then Vernon would not have gotten any encouragement, and she knew how much he needed it. “Vernon, hwaiting!”
As Vernon is about to start running, Haruko is practically bouncing on her feet. She is so excited. “Go, Vernonie!” she cheers as he starts to run before jumping with the glider. She looks back at the camera after Vernon has glided for a bit. “Now I don’t have anyone to cheer me on,” she states with a blank smile.
“We’ll cheer you on!” a staff member exclaims.
“Thank you!” Haruko grins at someone behind the camera.

She gets ready to go and is almost jumping with excitement.
“Run forward,” the worker she is strapped to commands.
“Okay!” Haruko tries to run, but it is difficult with the wind and her short legs. She gets some extra power from the worker she is with. She giggles as she takes flight. “Wa, I love it so much.”
“Unbelievable, isn’t it?” the worker asks.
“Yes, really. It’s amazing,” she responds. “Vernonie!” Haruko calls as she sees Vernon in the air. She waves at him, unsure if he saw her or not.
“Haru-yah!” Vernon yells back while waving at her. She has a bit smile on her face as she waves back enthusiastically.
“Wa, it truly was mesmerizing. It was like a dream. Nothing can prepare you for that. It was nothing like I’ve ever experienced. I want to go again!” Haruko says in her interview after going paragliding.

After everyone is back home and just relaxing, Haruko is in her treehouse once again. She is reading on her couch, with her lantern on once again with some soft piano music playing in the background.
Upon smelling the cooking from the dining hall, Haruko gets curious and exits her treehouse. Just like every other time, she puts her book in her mouth and uses her zipline to get out. She enters the dining hall to find Mingyu and Seokmin cooking, and Jun, who is about to start cooking.
“Hello,” she greets. Everyone says hello to her. “How was racing?”
“Really fun. I really enjoyed it,” Seokmin beams.
“He even sped while driving back here,” Mingyu quips.
“Yah,” Seokmin glares at him with a smile. Haruko laughs at their bickering. “How was paragliding?”
“Fantastic! I really loved it. I want to go back,” Haruko says with a big smile.
“Wa, good.”
“Jun oppa, what are you making?” Haruko asks.
“I’m going to make shabu shabu,” he replies.
“Can I help?”
“Sure.”

As they eat, Haruko sits next to Jun. She is smiling throughout the conversation, but she isn’t saying much.
When Woozi asks if they can make a fire outside to make a song together, Haruko perks up. Her smile grows as she becomes excited. “Ah, I should’ve brought a cool instrument,” she says.
In the flashback to Seokmin, Joshua, Woozi, and Hoshi making music in the first episode. When Seokmin plays the electric guitar in a rock style, Woozi smiles. “We should bring Haruko in; she can play in the rock style,” he says.

Midnight moments with Seventeen
Seventeen masterlist Group Masterlist
A/N: Under a read more not because it’s suggestive but because 13 members and a very long post
S.Coups/Seuncheol:
Any down time of his was usually spent sleeping and you really couldn’t blame him. Ever since you had started dating Seungcheol, you’re downtime was definitely spent taking naps more than anything else and well, you loved it.
This night was a little different, but the general idea was the same. You could feel Seungcheol’s fingers dancing over your sides as you talked, drawing shapes on your skin through your shirt. “You know what’s most surprising about tonight?” He asked hands coming up to cup your face with a smile. “Hmm?” You asked lazily, placing your hands on his bare chest. “That it’s midnight on a day off and I haven’t fallen asleep yet.” You laughed at his words, before he rolled you both over so he laid on top of you.
“If you’re not carefull, you’ll become as lazy as me on your days off.”
Jeonghan:
“Just know, before you I had never done this before.” You said and he laughed, getting ready to kick the ball. “I could tell by how you kick.” Jeonghan joked and you shook your head. This was something you don’t do often, soccer at night and it had become something you and Jeonghan would look forward too when the opportunity presented itself.
With just the two of you, it was fun. Running around the empty park lit up only by the glow of street lighting and the moon, laughing and playing like kids. Especially when you missed a very open goal, it was highly amusing. “Wahh, you really suck at this. You would think the more we do this, you’d get better.” He said wrapping his arms around you and tackling you to the grass gently. You shoved him slightly with a laugh, not wanting to give in to your loss.
“It’s okay, I still love you even if you suck at soccer.”
Joshua/Jisoo:
It was the simple text around midnight that asked: Do you want to go for a drive? Which meant, Joshua couldn’t sleep, not that you were complaining. Late night drives were a blessing with Joshua, filled with hot cocoa, cookies, some good music and some 1 on 1 time with him.
“Couldn’t sleep?” You asked as you sat down next to him. “Maybe, or maybe I just wanted to spend some time with you.” He turned his head with a cheesy smile and you laughed. “So you couldn’t sleep.” “Yeah I couldn’t sleep. BUT, I did bring you hot cocoa with whipped cream.” He said, handing you the cup and kissing your cheek. You smiled at him, sipping the drink gently because it was hot.
“Where should we go? Drive by the beach, or go through the city?”
Jun/Junhui:
You couldn’t help but doze off slightly to the sound of his voice, your brain wasn’t even registering what he was saying at this point either. Jun’s voice was just so comforting and it was late, his little trick to help you learn Chinese faster wasn’t going to work at least not at midnight. He had come up with the concept of reading books to you in Chinese, to help you learn.
“Yah, are you sleeping?” He asked, the book shutting loudly to make your eyes shoot open. “I’m sorry, I was dozing off.” You admitted with a little laugh. Jun put the book down and moved to lean over you. “If I had more time in a day I would read with you in the afternoon and not at midnight.” He was apologetic towards you for that, but he didn’t need to be. You absolutely understood. You pushed his hair out of his face and smiled. “Let’s just stop reading tonight, go to bed.” You whispered and tried to convince him, only for him to smile.
“Let’s finish this chapter.”
Hoshi/Soonyoung:
“So just twist this way-” “Like this?” You asked attempting to mimic his movements only to hear him laugh heartily. “I mean, you’re not wrong but you’re not right.” He explained and you stood up straight, crossing your arms. “I’m sorry, I’m sorry.” Soonyoung wrapped his arms around you quickly, tucking his face into your neck.
You had come to keep him company in the practice room, because he was alone and it was late and now he was teasing you. Your back pressed against his and you looked in the mirror. “It’s okay, I won’t make you dance again.” He said softly and you laughed. “You’re trying to be sweet but it still feels like you’re laughing at me.” You said and Soonyoung burst out into laughter.
“That’s enough practicing for today, how about we just go home and watch a movie or something.”
Wonwoo:
You could feel his eyes on you as you flipped through the pages of your book, he wasn’t paying attention to his own at all anymore. You often late night read together, it was something you both enjoyed. Being able to sit in silence together, immersed in different stories but still together. But now, he was just watching you as you read.
“Book boring?” You asked, placing your bookmark between the pages. “Everything is boring compared to you.” Wonwoo smiled cheekily and you hid your face in your hands in embarrassment. “You’re delirious, go to bed.” You said, watching him get up from his chair to drop down to his knees in front of you and take your book from your lap. He grabbed your hands and looked you in the eyes, seemingly going to say something very serious.
“How about we go get some ice cream or something?”
Woozi/Jihoon:
It was refreshing to be with Jihoon in the studio but to not have him working. You had managed to convince him to take a break, which ended up in him laying on top of you on the couch as you played with his hair. You were simply listening to him ramble on about the newest Going Seventeen episode and what they had to do.
“They set up this whole course, it was absolutely insane. I really wonder how the producers come up with this stuff.” He explained and you had to laugh. “I’m amazed at their creativity. Wish I had some of that while working.” He continued and you kept petting his hair. “Nah, you’re plenty creative and good at you’re job.” You smiled and he shook his head.
“You’re supposed to say that, you’re dating me.”
Dokyeom/Seokmin:
Curse restaurants that were open late, especially really good pizza joints. Late night snack you both called it and well, you absolutely loved these moments with him. “Midnight pizza should be illegal.” Seokmin said and you nodded, taking a bite of your own pizza. “To some of your managers, it probably is.” You joked and he sighed.
“You spoiled the fun with one sentence.” He laughed and you joined in. “Sorry.” You laughed out and he rested his head onto your shoulder. “We should probably head home soon.” He added, finishing his pizza and throwing a napkin on to his plate. He turned in his chair to look at you with a bright smile before pressing his forehead to yours.
“Thank you for coming out with me when I’m craving pizza at midnight.”
Mingyu:
“I can’t believe you crave cookies at midnight, beg me to make them with you and then also spill the dough.” You whisper yelled, trying to keep quiet for the other members in the dorm were sleeping. Mingyu was a laughing mess on the floor, covered in flour and dough. “I’m sorry.” He choked out and pulled you down to the floor with him.
“What’s going on in here?” Seungcheol asked, hearing the ruckus that came with the mess. It must’ve been a sight to his eyes. “Mingyu wanted freshly baked cookies.” You said, attempting to pat out some of the flour in his hair. Mingyu simply smiled at you as you did. Seungcheol simply raised his eyebrows and walked away, not wanting to deal with it. Mingyu pushed up off the ground, helping you up with him.
“I’ll clean this up. Maybe we should attempt this tomorrow again.”
The8/Minghao:
You were perched on the foot of his bed, scrolling through your phone as he went back and forth through his closet. Glancing up every now and then to look at him. “Okay, do these work together?” He asked, showing off the outfit he had put together. Minghao often did this late at night, when he was worried about what to wear out the next day.
“It doesn’t not work.” You said and he scoffed. “Right, different shirt.” He said, pulling it off swiftly and going back to his closet. You shook your head with a laugh, returning to aimlessly scrolling on your phone. Only for him to huff and join you on the bed and placing his head on your shoulder with a sigh. “It’s hard to be fashionable isn’t it?” You asked and he nodded.
“So exhausting.”
Seungkwan:
One hand held his while the other held your fish cakes as you walked through the park. Seungkwan had finished work early (but still midnight) and wanted to take a walk with you, so there you were, at midnight, under the promise of being treated to fish cakes.
“So how was practice?” You asked and you could physically feel him sigh. “I’m so tired today, I don’t know why?” He said, gesturing for you to give a bite of your food. “Maybe because it’s midnight and you’ve been dancing all day.” You suggested and he shrugged. “Right. That could be it.” He took the fish cake skewer from your hand, eating the rest. You looked at him with disapproval, snatching the skewer back.
“You owe me another one.”
Vernon/Hansol:
“Okay but how would you style that?” You asked, pointing to the absolutely ridiculous hat on whatever clothing website he was looking on. “I would just style it. Put it on my head and wear it.” Vernon teased, adjusting his laptop on his stomach as you both aimlessly scrolled.
“Those shoes are cool.” You pointed and he nodded. “Want me to order them for you?” He asked and you started laughing. “I thought we were just window shopping?” You asked, dropping your head onto his shoulder and pulling the blankets up over your own. You watched him add them to his cart with a smile, before adding that hat.
“When am I ever just window shopping?”
Dino/Chan:
“We have to come up with a penalty.” You said, before starting your tekken match. “A penalty, you sure about that?” Chan asked, raising his eyebrows at you in question. “I’m very sure... how about loser pays for our late night snack tonight.” You suggested and he shook his head.
“No, no it’s too late for that anyways. Think bigger.” He started, pausing to think. “Loser buys the other coffee for the next 2 months.” He suggested and you hummed. “You’re on. Lee Chan your coffee money is mine.” You said and redirected your attention to the tv. It only took a few moments for your character to knock his out and he was laying flat on the floor, staring at the ceiling.
“Why do I always have to one up the bets, it always bites me in the butt. Even with you. But okay, starting tomorrow I’ll get you a coffee everyday.”
A/N: This took me forever. I need to get back in the swing of things in writing for Seventeen.

Diagnosis: Love Sickness!- Chapter 1
In the Ultimate Academy for Gifted Juveniles, 16 students have been imprisoned as part of a nonsensical dating game in which their objective is to find themselves in a budding romance with another student! Although reluctant to admit so, Shuichi Saihara has had his eyes on another student for quite some time now... Will Monokuma's new motive, the Despair Disease, be the driving force that pushes Saihara to finally confess his love? Or will he stay forever single in this twisted dating game?
Stay tuned to find out!
~~~~~~~~~~
Monokuma introduces the new motive, the despair disease!
ao3
The Ultimate Academy for Gifted Juveniles was a rather interesting place, though its facilities were currently being used for a particularly strange purpose. Sixteen students, eight boys and eight girls, were confined within the walls of the academy for some sort of dating game, supposedly for the entertainment of the outside world. The cherry on top of this strange situation was that their captor was a small, animatronic black and white bear who walked and talked as if he were human. Monokuma, as the bear dubbed itself, would appear every now and then to inform the students of the structure and layout of the academy or to introduce some strange motive to encourage the blossoming of romance amongst them, but otherwise left them to their own devices. Having no choice but to mingle and make friends with one another, the students explored the academy and made use of their surroundings.
Speaking of which, the students imprisoned in this academy were not necessarily normal, either. Each and every one of them had an Ultimate Talent, making them special and distinct from one another. Their talents varied greatly from one another, even including something as far-fetched and sci-fi sounding as the Ultimate Robot, but they all managed to get along with one another and cultivate rather interesting friendships.
One exception to this, however, was Shuichi Saihara, the Ultimate Detective. Being naturally introverted and reclusive, he had a difficult time forming friendships with the other students, at least initially. Seeking to help the young detective out of his shell, two other students named Akamatsu and Momota attempted to befriend him, slowly introducing him to their small social circle and eventually the rest of the students. The two of them were social butterflies, flitting gracefully between the social groups that had formed, providing a nice complement to Saihara’s more reserved nature. Their positive and radiant energies bounced off of each other and onto Saihara, causing him to feel more empowered and confident than ever before.
It was a gradual process that allowed Saihara to become more sure of himself, transpiring over the course of their first few weeks at the academy. The culmination of said process was when, at Momota and Akamatsu’s behest, Saihara removed the black cap that he desperately clung to in order to avoid eye contact with others. His lifestyle had undergone a complete transformation since entering this academy, changing for the better as a result of the efforts of his new friends. Although his tendencies to doubt himself still persevered at times, Saihara was grateful for the progress he had made to better himself and make new friends.
But there was something missing.
As he spent more and more time trapped in the academy, Saihara noticed an increasing number of students crossing the boundary from friends to lovers. At first it was only Chabashira and Yumeno, followed by Iruma and Kiibo, but when both Momota and Akamatsu entered relationships Saihara couldn’t help but feel as if he were missing something. Although he was happy that his two closest friends were in happy, fulfilling relationships, Saihara longed for the intimacy and closeness that came with having a partner. It had been over a year since his last relationship, leaving him finally ready for a fresh start with someone new.
In all honesty, Saihara would be lying if he said he didn’t have his eyes on anyone in particular. But despite the fact that he had grown leaps and bounds in terms of becoming more secure and sure of himself, Saihara knew that he didn’t have it in him to confess his feelings for another person. In the past, it had always been various girls and boys confessing their feelings for him, not the other way around. On the lucky occasion that Saihara had actually returned the other person’s feelings, it would lead to a new relationship for the both of them. But that had only happened once throughout his whole life, and Saihara wasn’t sure if he was ready to enter another relationship and have his heart eventually be broken again. For now, all he could do was admire from afar and pray that the embarrassment when his feelings came to light wasn’t too much to endure.
~~~~~
Three weeks had passed since the imprisonment of the students had begun, meaning that it was time for a new motive to be announced. In accordance with their schedule, Monokuma had made an announcement instructing everyone to report to the gymnasium bright and early. Having no strong reasons to disobey, the students all gathered in the gymnasium awaiting Monokuma’s appearance.
Suddenly, Monokuma sprung up on top of the stage at the head of the gymnasium, drawing everyone’s attention. Although it was practically routine by now, there was no getting used to an animatronic bear appearing out of thin air. The murmurs and idle chatter in the room came to a stop, all eyes focusing on the small bear in front of them.
“Gooood morning, everyone!” Monokuma’s familiar voice rang out, chipper as ever. “I hope you all slept well, cuz I certainly did!”
“Huh? Do robots like you even need sleep?” Shirogane curiously asked, a twinge of doubt lacing her words. “I mean… You are a robot, right?”
“Why don’t we just ask the Ultimate Robot himself?” Ouma butt in excitedly, balling his hands into small fists as his eyes sparkled brightly. “Hey, Kiiboy! Is it true that robots don’t need to sleep at night like humans do?”
“I will not tolerate your robophobic remarks, Ouma-kun!” Kiibo fumed, crossing his arms angrily. “While it is true that I do not require sleep, there is a function on my body that allows me to-”
Kiibo was cut off by Ouma audibly yawning, signaling his disinterest in their conversation.
“Boooring! I don’t care about your stupid sci-fi robo functions!” Ouma complained.
“Quit lyin’ you shitty shota!” Iruma scowled, jumping to Kiibo’s defense. “Just the other day you were buggin’ Kiibo about exactly that, so don’t even try pulling that shit!”
“Hmm, was I? I don’t remember…” Ouma lied once more, irritating Iruma even further. “Either way, an ignorant slut like you shouldn’t be-”
“Aaargh, that’s enough!” Monokuma thrashed about, waving his paws in the air angrily. “I didn’t call this meeting for you guys to bicker like little kids! You’re ruining the moment!”
A silence befell them, allowing Monokuma to continue.
“I’m introducing the new motive and that’s final!” He announced, composing himself. “Now, since you idiots were too busy arguing, I bet you didn’t even notice that you’re one student short!”
On cue, everyone began looking around in order to confirm Monokuma’s words.
“Atua says that Shuichi is the one missing!” Yonaga declared proudly, clasping her hands together.
“Oh, yeah! About that...” Momota began, “He wasn’t feeling good when I went to check on him this morning, so I figured it would be fine for him to sit this one out… He looked pretty bad.”
“Did you provide him with any medical attention, at the very least?” Tojo asked, voice laced with concern.
“Err…” Momota glanced to the side, a guilty expression adorning his face. “I might’ve forgotten about that when the announcement was made…”
“So you just left my beloved Saihara-chan to die?! How cruel, Momota-chan! And here I thought the two of you were all buddy-buddy or something!” Ouma cried, crocodile tears forming in the corners of his eyes.
“T-That’s not true! We were going to check on him as soon as this was over! Right, Maki Roll?” Momota sputtered, struggling to defend himself.
“...That’s right.” Harukawa agreed, fiddling with her pigtails in response to Momota’s pet name for her.
“Upupu!” Monokuma laughed, lifting his paws to cover his smiling face. “Looks like everything is going just as planned!”
“...Just as I thought.” Amami concluded, bringing a hand to his chin as he spoke his thoughts aloud. “Saihara-kun’s illness must have something to do with Monokuma’s new motive.”
Akamatsu gasped in surprise, frowning as she processed the implications of Amami’s statement. “Is that true, Monokuma? Did you do something to Saihara-kun?”
“Upupupu! I call it…” He paused dramatically for effect, “the despair disease!”
A wave of silence washed over them, the students carefully pondering over Monokuma’s words.
“Diss-pear duh-seeze…” Gokuhara sounded out, attempting to understand the information he had been given. “Gonta not sure he understand…”
“Nyeh…” Yumeno groaned, voicing her confusion. “Am I the only one who’s lost?”
“Tell us, Monokuma…” Shinguji spoke cautiously, “What is this ‘despair disease’ you speak of?”
“Well, since you asked so nicely I might as well tell you all!” Monokuma grinned, preparing to explain himself. “The despair disease is a highly contagious illness that affects each and every student differently, depending on the strain that they contract! The symptoms can range from physical ailments to complete personality changes, so I’d be careful if I were you!”
“Personality changes…?” Harukawa repeated to herself, turning to address Momota. “Did you notice anything unusual when you checked on Saihara earlier?”
“Now that you mention it, he was acting kind of weird…” Momota admitted, putting the pieces of the puzzle together in his mind. “Alright, I’ve decided! Me and Maki Roll will watch over Shuichi until he gets better!” He declared boldly.
“What about the two of you, then?” Hoshi questioned, raising an eyebrow. “If this disease is as contagious as Monokuma just said doesn’t that put the two of you at risk?”
“Don’t worry about that! I, Kaito Momota, Luminary of the Stars, am naturally immune to all types of sickness! I could never let something as silly as being sick bring me down!” Momota boasted.
“You’re such an idiot…” Harukawa twirled a loose strand of hair between her fingers, a faint smile visible on her face. “But don’t worry about us. After we make sure Saihara is feeling alright, we’ll leave so that we don’t contract the illness.”
“Good luck, you two!” Akamatsu encouraged, flashing them a bright smile.
Momota gave her a thumbs up, heading out of the gymnasium with Harukawa in tow. One by one, the rest of the students exited as well, leaving only Monokuma.
“Upupupu…” He laughed to himself, grinning knowingly. “Let’s see how they deal with this...”
~~~~~
After arriving at Saihara’s dorm, Momota knocked on the door while Harukawa waited.
“Yo, Shuichi! You holdin’ up in there?” Momota asked, speaking loud enough for practically every dorm to hear him. “Me and Maki Roll came to check up on ya!”
Saihara faintly called out to them, informing them that the door should be open. Momota and Harukawa entered, immediately noticing a sick-looking Saihara sitting up in bed.
“Damn, you still look pretty bad…” Momota observed aloud, stepping closer to him. “How are you feeling?”
“I’m so tired, Momota-kun…” Saihara drawled, flashing him a coy expression. “I was up all night thinking about you…” He smiled innocently, fingers grazing his lips as he watched Momota’s concerned expression morph into one of bewilderment.
“Huh?” Momota recoiled, taken aback by Saihara’s sudden advances. “Shuichi, what are you talking about?”
Before Saihara could answer, Harukawa approached, placing the back of her hand on his forehead in order to check his temperature.
“He has a crazy high fever…” Harukawa stated, moving to pull her hand away.
But before she could retract it completely, Saihara took her hand in his, interlacing their fingers.
“Your hands are beautiful, Harukawa-san…” He gave her hand a squeeze, looking up to make eye contact with her. “Just like the rest of you.” Saihara smirked, a beguiling expression dressing his face.
Harukawa was quick to pull her hand away, wiping it on her sleeve. “And your hands are sweaty.” She stated flatly, shooting Momota a quick look. With a sigh, she continued. “So, let me guess. You have a strain of the despair disease that makes you flirt with everyone you come in contact with. Correct?”
“Despair disease…?” Saihara repeated, “You’ve got it all wrong, Harukawa-san…” Beads of sweat trickled down his forehead, the heat of his fever adding to the already prominent flush on his face. “The only disease I have is love sickness.”
“Do you want to die?” She threatened, expecting to wipe the smirk right off of Saihara’s face. But he continued to smile as he averted his eyes, another witty remark hanging off the tip of his tongue.
“Uhh… Can I talk to you for a minute, Maki Roll?” Momota spoke in a hushed voice, pulling her aside while Saihara simply observed. “Shuichi is acting kind of… weird, right?”
Harukawa rolled her eyes, another sigh escaping her lips. It was just like Momota to be this dense, especially when it came to flirting. Nevertheless, she responded, speaking in a low voice.
“Yeah…” She agreed. “Definitely weird.”
“So, what should we do?” Momota glanced at Saihara, who was simply staring down at the bedsheets. “I mean, someone has to take care of him… Right?”
“I don’t think we should leave him alone in this state…” Harukawa admitted. Despite Saihara’s odd behavior, it just wouldn’t be right to leave a sick person all by themselves. “I guess… We can keep an eye on him until nighttime.”
“Hmm… Alright! I trust you!” Momota gave her a small pat on the arm before turning back to Saihara, who seemed to be in a daze. “Listen up, Shuichi! Maki Roll and I are gonna be taking care of you until you feel better, so you better snap out of it!”
“Aha… Snap out of what?” Saihara responded, laughing a bit to himself.
Momota and Harukawa shared a suspect glance, before resigning themselves to their fate.
It was going to be a long day.
Close to you (2/7)
Yay chapter 2! Please enjoy y’all!
Also a huge thank you to @hoshi-and-hikari for spearheading SeiUsa week ❤️ You’re so great!!!
~~~
I must have walked on To meet you
---
“Where is she? Is she in there?”
“Yes.”
Seiya bowed once he heard the sound of footsteps nearing. He could make out the hem of her white robe in his top peripheral vision before she stopped.
“Hello! You are the guardian from the bar?”
The voice was sweet and inviting which lowered his inner guard by a level. After straightening back up, he tried not to give much more thought that she looked just as gorgeous as she did on television and in pictures.
“Yes, I am, your highness.”
She gasped with a hand over her mouth, causing him to feel the body slam of self-consciousness.
“You’re… a man.” She moved the hand to her chest.
Seiya blinked, unsure of how to reply. But he knew he had to give her something, so he shrugged with a half-smile. “Guilty.”
Serenity relaxed. “I’m sorry. I just thought all guardians were female.”
“That’s true.” He cleared his throat. “We just use this appearance as a protective measure.”
“Huh!” Most intrigued, she then turned toward the two guardians at the door.
“Uranus, please remove his handcuffs.”
“Serenity, I wouldn’t recommend that.” The blonde started walking toward them.
“Why?”
“Because he could hurt you!”
“And I’ve never been able to take care of myself when, exactly?” Already over it, she pointed at Seiya. “Take them off.”
Uranus acquiesced with a huff, producing a small key from inside her boot and removing the shackles. Seiya didn’t waste the opportunity to give her a smug, victorious smirk whenever she was looking.
Serenity beamed. “Thank you, Uranus. That’ll be all for tonight.”
Uranus was about to protest once more, but the look from her highness already told her that her mind was made up. Scoffing and grumbling, the guardian stomped off and out the door.
Neptune, entertained by the whole scene, walked up to place the plastic grocery bag on the table.
“These are his things. Good night, my queen.” She then took her leave.
Once alone, Serenity released a breath as if she had been holding it for a while. “I love those two but they can be so intense.” She then extended a hand toward Seiya’s chair with a smile. “Please sit!”
He obeyed as she took her own seat beside him. Having carried a large crystal pad with her, she laid it aside on the table to give attention to the contents inside the plastic bag. The first item she grabbed was his cell phone, which itself was a smaller translucent rectangle of crystal. She placed it to the side before going for the next item: his transformation headset.
“Ooh, this is interesting!” Her face lit up as she turned it in all directions for inspection. Figuring out that it went on her ear, she did just that, and then put her hands on her hips and moved her shoulders.
“I feel like a pop star!”
Seiya laughed, his heart melting at her unqueenly yet endearing behavior.
She moved the mouthpiece up and down. “So you use this to transform?”
He nodded. “Yes.”
“And it’s ‘Fighter Star Power?’”
His blue eyes widened, scared she was psychic. “Yes, how did you know?”
“There are videos of you transforming on the news.” She giggled as she removed the headset from her ear and placed it on the table. “That was quite a mess you were in.”
A blush appeared on his cheeks as he scratched his head. Despite knowing he wasn’t at fault, he still felt embarrassed.
“But,” she continued, “that’s also how I found out you were here. So something good came out of it at least.” She bit her lip as her eyes twinkled at him. “Are you okay, though?”
“Yes. Just a little banged up, but I’ll be fine.”
“The doctors said you should be healed in a few weeks. So you will stay here until you do.”
“Here? In the palace?” His eyes widened while he shook his head. “I couldn’t, your highness—”
“I insist. I can have doctors check on you daily to aid in your recovery.”
He gulped and kept quiet, afraid to refuse the queen again in case it carried a death sentence.
Interpreting his silence as acceptance, she grabbed her crystal pad and tapped on it to reveal a digital screen. “So tell me… Fighter… do you have a civilian name?”
“It’s Seiya Kou.”
“And where are you from, Seiya Kou?”
“All over.” He chuckled. “But our home is Kinmoku.”
“Our?”
“Oh yeah, there’s three of us!” Seiya had forgotten about Taiki and Yaten for the moment. Whoops.
She gasped in excitement. “Wow! Three of you? Where are they?”
“They’re, uh…” he scratched his head again, “in a detention center.”
“Ohh right, right…” The realization dawned on her. “I’ll make sure to have them brought here. I’d like to meet them, too.” She tapped around on the pad in different places, interspersed with some scrolling. “What was the name of your home again?”
“Kinmoku.”
“Kin… mo… ku…” After more tapping, she squinted her eyes in an effort to process the information that populated on her screen. Several moments passed before they widened in tandem with the smacking of her tongue.
“Wow… you’ve come a very, very long way, Seiya.”
“Not by choice…”
She nodded in agreement. “It says here that Kinmoku was one of the initial planets attacked by Galaxia.”
He had no words as his response, only rage, evident by his tight jaw and loud gulp.
Picking up on the heaviness of his energy, Serenity continued. “I don’t know if you know, but Crystal Tokyo has an open policy for refugees, even from an attack as long ago as Galaxia. I can have you registered as an asylum seeker—”
“With all due respect, your highness, we’re not here to seek asylum.” The sternness in his voice was palpable.
In attempts to maintain sympathy for his shift in emotion, and keep hers relatively stable, she placed her pad down and leaned back in her chair. “Then what do you seek?”
His gaze fell. “I can say what we don’t seek… is trouble. So we’ll leave this planet immediately. I’m sorry for wasting your time.”
“No, please!” Serenity leaned over, placing a gentle, desperate hand on top of his as if it were to stop him should he stand up. Eagerness met ambivalence as each pair of blue eyes stared deeply into the other.
“I’m the one that called you here.” She continued. “I want to know your story.”
The power of touch was a phenomenon that made his heart pump wildly to the point of confession. But it was taking his mind a while to trust her, so Serenity resumed her verbal coaxing.
“Seiya… I want to help you and I can’t if you don’t talk to me.” She squeezed his hand and bit into her lips. “As one guardian to another, let me help you.”
He sighed, having to reach deep within to find his words and courage.
“It’s our princess. We're looking for our princess.”
Serenity nodded, resting her elbows on her knees and her chin in her hands, ready to listen.
Seiya continued. “She fled when Galaxia attacked. We decided she would go first and we would follow. We had a plan to meet at a neighboring planet but… when we got there, Galaxia had already ravaged through it, just like ours. And our princess was nowhere to be found.” He rubbed his sweaty palms on his thighs, breathing through the trauma of the memories.
“And so we went on to the next planet, and then the next one… Each destination was based on hunches and hearsay mostly, looking for any hint that she was there or had been there.”
Serenity cocked her head. “How did you go about trying to find her once you were on a planet?”
“Singing. She really loves music.” He flashed a smile. “We sing familiar songs to try to draw her to us. And if they’re catchy enough, we hope that the locals might pass them along too, and maybe she’ll hear it and know we’re out there and haven’t given up.”
She nodded before looking down, almost afraid to ask. “Have you… considered the fact… that maybe she’s...”
“Yes, we have. We check for death records regularly wherever we end up.” He answered over her, sparing her awkwardness. “But we just so happened to catch a merchant on ætSe-18 who had sold a royal incense burner to someone here from Earth. He couldn’t confirm it was Kinmokian, but the way he described it—its design and scent—there’s no mistake it’s from Kinmoku.”
“How would the burner lead you to her?”
“She also harnesses the power of stars and can take on other forms. Her incense burner was her favorite hiding spot. She must have taken it with her when she fled, or at least that’s what we hope. It’s our only hope at this point.”
Moved by the story, a distant smile spread upon her lips, and she relaxed into her chair. “She must be quite a princess for you to spend ten years looking for her.”
He shook his head with a smile. “I know no other purpose.”
Serenity paused to give her mind a few moments to think before sitting upright with resolution written all over her face.
“We should get some sleep then. Tomorrow is a big day.”
Seiya’s face blinked into confusion. “Is it?”
The beam on her face lit up the whole room as she nodded and winked. “It’s the Queen’s Birthday Festival tomorrow. We’ll need our strength to celebrate.”
A smirk twitched on the side of his mouth. “Oh right. I remember that being advertised.”
“It’ll be a fun time. And I’m sure a much-needed and deserved day off for you.”
He breathed out a laugh, a twinkle forming in his eye.
“And then after that,” she continued. “We look for your princess.”
The twinkle then faded into distress. “Oh… no… no, no… It’s okay, your highness! I know you have more important things to do—”
“I’ve got people for that!” She waved a dismissive hand at him. “Plus, I said I wanted to help, so I’m going to help. You can't be going out there getting into more bar fights in your condition, and I’m sure the other guardians aren’t in that much better shape.”
He opened his mouth to speak but Serenity gave him that same look she gave Uranus earlier in the night, submitting him to speechlessness. While she seemed to make his mind spin, she also made him feel calm. Redness formed on his cheeks as he realized the subliminal control she had over him; whether it was intentional or not was a mystery, but he didn’t care.
A victorious grin spread across her face. “It’s settled then.”

THE RETURN OF SUPERMAN | Kwon Soonyoung
Author’s Note: This is definitely one of my most favorite writings! Sorry I’m behind the posting schedule a little bit. Unstable internet connections are THE WORST!
Genre: I KNOW I’VE BEEN HURTING PEOPLE WITH MY TROS SPINOFFS, BUT THIS IS DIFFERENT. THIS STORY IS A HAPPY PILL. IT’S FLUFF. LITERALLY.
Word Count: 5,840
6:47 P.M.
It is nighttime and cameras are panning around a very cozy nursery. The walls are wallpapered with a pastel kind of yellow filled with clouds, ponies, fairies and more animal pets, some of which double into night lights. A dresser is pushed up to one wall, where baby pictures of the cute little room owner are found, along with her parents in what appeared to be a photoshoot. A clock and little blocks that spelled out Y-U-N-A are also on the dresser. Airplanes, more clouds and stars hang on the ceilings, reflecting the soft glow of the lamplights. The windows are hidden by billowy cream-colored curtains.
One camera is panning down from the plush, carpeted floor, up to the center of the room, on which a massive, white crib could be found. A very cute, chubby-cheeked little baby girl with a jeweled crown on top her soft curls was on the crib, her chubby hands clapping with delight. Her squeals and vibrant peals of laughter filled the whole room. But it was another kind of noise that made cameramen chuckle.
Thud. “Ow!” Kwon Soonyoung rubbed his forehead in mock agony. He made a crying face and pretended to sob loudly, kneeling on the carpeted floor. But he peered behind his hands on his face, grinning, as the baby burst out laughing again, her hands clapping as she did so. Her cheeks had gone red with her giggles.
When the laughter stopped and the baby simply sat there, her whole face waiting and expectant for the next thing about to happen to her dad, Soonyoung decided to do it one last time. He drew close to the crib and pretended to bang his head on the wood. Thud. He rolled back on the floor. “Ow!”
The baby rolled back her head, tears rolling down her cheeks as her guttural baby giggles wracked her entire body. She slumped on the soft quilt of her crib, laughing and laughing.
“Wow, Kwon Yuna,” Kwon Soonyoung muttered, tired of having done the same trick for about thirty minutes now. “You never get tired, do you? Come here.” Soonyoung reached out to take the child. “Let me put you to sleep properly.” He looked at the clock on the dresser. “It’s almost past your bedtime!” Like the pro appa that he was, he cradled Yuna in his arms, which she was already starting to outgrow. How much time do I have left to carry you like this? He thought fondly, already nostalgic of the moment that his baby would grow too heavy for his arms. Then he softly padded to one side of the room, next to the windows, where a rocking chair was. Yuna liked to be rocked to sleep.
He sat there for a long time, rocking and rocking her in his arms. Yuna reached out to touch Soonyoung’s face with her tiny hands, wondering at his face.
Soonyoung smiled and kissed her forehead. “Sleep, little one! Sleep, Kwon Yuna!” He started humming a lullaby to lull her to sleep.
After a few more minutes, Kwon Yuna’s eyes began to droop. She cooed sleepily, and as her head dropped to Soonyoung’s chest, her little crown fell on the carpet. Soonyoung hoisted her carefully on his one arm to pick up the crown, all the while singing the lullaby softly. Soon, deep breaths told him that his baby girl had fallen asleep. Soonyoung carefully stood up, peered into Yuna’s peaceful, sleeping face again, and laid her down gently on the crib.
He stood there watching her for a few minutes before he smiled and whispered, “Good night, my baby girl.” Then he slowly walked out of the nursery and into the adjoining bedroom. He left the door open just in case Yuna might wake up in the early morning hours. Cameras rolled slowly as Soonyoung laid on his bed, exhausted.
He faintly smelled of milk, baby lotion and cereal, but he could not be bothered to get up from the bed. He closed his eyes and began to doze off. It was still early, just barely past 7 p.m., but he felt drained of all energy. He smiled as he thought of Yuna giggling and reached out his hand to grab you close to him, but then he remembered: right. He’s alone, and he’s going to be for the next forty-eight hours. He reached for his phone on the bedtable and pressed the speed-dial to call you.
“My love!” He whispered excitedly when you picked up.
From the other end of the line and a continent away, you grinned. “Hey, Superdad.”
“Hey yourself. Yuna’s sleeping now.” Soonyoung touched his shirt lightly. “And I think I should change my shirt because I got soaked with milk earlier but I’m too tired to stand up.”
“Are you sure she’s asleep? Already?”
“Of course!” Soonyoung smiled at the direction of the nursery. “Our baby sleeps nicely when I rock her to sleep. I think she really likes me more than she likes you.”
You scoffed mockingly. “Don’t kid yourself.”
“Jealous, are we?” Soonyoung giggled, almost very much like Yuna. “I thought we talked about not getting jealous when our Yuna likes one of us more.”
“In your dreams, Kwon Soonyoung.”
Soonyoung took a pillow and hugged it to himself. “I miss you.”
You lay back on your bed for the night, too, a queen-sized one that was very comfortable but seemed empty without Soonyoung beside you. “I miss you, too. But don’t be such a baby! The cameras are rolling and they might think you’re too crazy about me.”
Soonyoung laughed at that. “But aren’t I?” He snuggled onto the pillow on his head, still holding the phone to his other ear. “I really am crazy about you.”
You blushed. “I love you.”
Cries from the nursery made Soonyoung sit up on the bed. “Okay! I think I have to go now.”
You smiled and closed your eyes. “Bye.”
“Hey.” Soonyoung was sliding into his slippers and shuffling on to the direction of the nursery door. “I love you, too, by the way.”
You laughed. “Good night, Yuna-appa. And change your shirt. Really!”
INTERVIEW WITH KWON SOONYOUNG, 30:
SOONYOUNG: (Bows as best he could with a baby girl on his lap.) Hello, everyone! Most people know me onscreen as Hoshi from SEVENTEEN, but right now in this show I am simply Kwon Soonyoung. (Yuna squeals on his lap, and he grins.) That’s a hello from my eight-month-old baby here, Kwon Yuna! We are both very excited to be on this show. (Reaches down as Yuna fusses and brings a bottle to Yuna’s lips.) Among my SEVENTEEN bros, I’m the youngest dad as of the moment. We often chat each other up and they always give me advice about how to do things since I’m still a bit clueless. They say baby years are the best years because you bond a lot with the baby, and you get fascinated by how they just grow up before you know it. (Kisses Yuna as she is busy with her milk bottle.) I’m really happy that I get to experience being her dad. It’s both a terrifying and beautiful experience. I just hope to be the best dad I could be for her.
Q: Are you on an indefinite break from work just to be with your wife and baby daughter?
SOONYOUNG: (Nods and smiles brightly.) Yes! Actually, I did not want to do so immediately because I felt like I might leave them unprepared since we are also readying for a comeba—oops. (Lowers his head, laughing.) Omo. I can’t believe it. Even as a dad I say things I’m not supposed to say. Anyway. Um. The members all insisted that I take the time to go and take care of Yuna here. I do go with them every now and then, mostly on mornings, so I could catch up with practice. My body clock changed after months of being with Yuna. I wake up earlier and I sleep earlier but these days I also have to wake up in the middle of the night. Yuna is at the age where she sometimes wakes up in the middle of the night and cries for us. She knows we will come if she cries. (Ruffles Yuna’s hair playfully and Yuna smiles with her eyes at this, her toothless smile adorably seen as she stops drinking her milk to revel at her dad’s touch.) She’s pretty spoiled, I think. But who am I to complain? Looking this cute, I could not help but forgive her for waking her parents up at odd hours just so she could see us. (Grins at the camera.) Sorry. I know I’m being such a dad right now, spoiling my baby. But hey, that’s what dads do! (Laughs and takes the empty bottle from Yuna, and then bows again.) Please enjoy spending your day with us!
6:30 A.M.
NARRATOR: *Someone is having a very happy bath this morning! Let us see! The happy laughter is infectious! What lies ahead for a morning at the Kwon residence?*
“Ap-paaa!!! Wwaaaahhhbbbbiiiii!!!”
“I know! Your appa picked such a cute song! Good morning, too, Kwon Yuna!” Soonyoung happily translated as the Yuna played with the water on her bathtub. She giggled as bubbles erupted out of the water. Soonyoung scrubbed on her arms, her face.
Dad and baby are inside the bathroom next to the nursery. Both have been up for hours.
“Ggggurbbbbuuu app-paaa?” Yuna chatted with her appa, touching his cheek with a tiny hand filled with bubbles.
“Yes. The eyebags look awful, right? I had to stay up later for you!”
“Biiiii???” Yuna pressed, her eyes looking serious as Soonyoung rinsed her shampooed baby hair gently with warm water. “Bbbibbugabb???”
“Uh-huh. That late. But we’re still best friends! You slept very peacefully after I rocked you to sleep for the second time. Very good girl!” Kwon Yuna liked to wake up early and Soonyoung usually took that time to draw her a bath and get her things ready for the day. Once Yuna wakes up, the whole house wakes up, too! Who needs clocks? Yuna was one! My world literally revolves around this little person! Soonyoung thought to himself as he reached for a towel.
“Bbubbbubbbbbu,” Yuna babbled to her dad as he picked her up from the bubbly bathtub to dry her with a towel and dryer. “Gguggudduuuu!!! Ap-ppa, ap-ppa, appa!”
“Right! Your appa is so amazing, taking care of you all night and giving you a bath! He’s the best appa in the world! Isn’t he?” Soonyoung interpreted confidently as he playfully kissed his baby girl’s cheeks. “Wow. Eomma did a not-so-bad job at picking your bath soap. My love, if you’re watching this, I really dig this bath soap. Buy one for us, too!”
Yuna pinched Soonyoung’s cheeks playfully while he got placed her down the changing table. “Appa? Ggubbbuuu!!!”
“I know! You’re cute, too!” Soonyoung deftly got Yuna into her diapers and hauled her up into his arms. She squealed as they both got out of the bathroom and Soonyoung set her down on the newly vacuumed carpet, letting Yuna crawl around. Yuna gasped in delight at being let down. “Behave while appa gets out your clothes for you, okay?”
After dressing her up in a cute strawberry jumper that had green wings at the back, tying her hair rather clumsily with strawberry ponytails and securing her stray locks into another strawberry-themed hairband, Soonyoung grinned. “Cute, cute, cute!!!” He peppered Yuna with kisses. “Cute, cute, cute!!!”
Kwon Yuna did look like the cutest strawberry fairy, beaming at her dad, clapping her hands before ignoring him entirely and crawling around the nursery, gasping again as her quick little eyes found a picture book that was placed strategically by Soonyoung right where she could see it. She crawled faster with her hands and feet, straining just to get to the picture book. Upon reaching the picture book, she squealed out something like, “Gggaaaahhhhh!!!”
“Yas, girl! Like I told your eomma when we bought you stuff, that picture book is cool!” Soonyoung again translated, lying on his stomach next to his strawberry fairy, who looked like utterly amazed by the picture book, which contained different kinds of colors. Yuna stood up shakily, bouncing on her feet as she stood, before plunking down and sitting with her legs crossed, looking very much like a—yes, a strawberry. She babbled happily as she reached out to touch the book.
“Waaasss?”
“Okay. We’ve done this yesterday, remember?” Soonyoung sat up and imitated how Yuna sat. Then he pointed at the bright color on the book which Yuna was touching with her finger. “Red.” Soonyoung tapped the color again. “Red.”
“W-wed,” Yuna breathed out, her voice unabashedly wondering.
Soonyoung excitedly tapped it again and bent down to listen closer. “Red.”
“Wed!!!” Yuna giggled and clapped her hands, excited at mimicking Soonyoung’s words.
“Yaaayyy! Yuna deserves a kiss!!! Kiss!!!” Soonyoung picked her up and held her into the air, kissing her cheeks as she laughed in delight. “Good job, best friend!” Then he settled her onto his lap and took the picture book. He smiled at Yuna again before tapping another color. “Blue.”
Yuna puckered her lips and looked up at Soonyoung. “Byue?”
“Yaaayyy!!! Way to go, best friend! Yes!” Yuna giggled again as Soonyoung held her up into the air and gave her her reward: appa’s fluttery kisses. “Okay, let’s say it again!” Carefully, Soonyoung put her closer to the book balanced on his one knee so Yuna could touch it. He pointed at the color again. “Blue.”
“Byuuueeeee!!!” Yuna mouthed just like Soonyoung. “Byue!!!”
“Very good, Kwon Yuna!” Another flight up, another kiss. “What’s this color?” Soonyoung pointed back to the first color they learned about. “It starts like r—”
“—Wed,” Yuna said confidently. “Wed!”
“And this one?”
“B-byue!”
Soonyoung laughed and proceeded to educate Yuna about colors. Byue, wed, gweeen, pppink…you get the idea. The baby talk drove Soonyoung nuts but he was fascinated that Yuna was learning so quickly. She’s definitely persistent, Soonyoung noticed fondly. She would touch a color, hear him say it over ang over again, and then repeat. She loved getting kisses and she loved flying with her dad’s arms. Cameras zoomed in on the father and daughter as they forgot the picture book, doing something much more fun-filled for Yuna. She was hoisted up by her dad’s arms, flying around the room, her green wings fluttering, her ponytails whipping around as Soonyoung “flew” her around the room.
“AppaI Appa!” She giggled, loving her flight like the strawberry fairy that she is. Cameramen chuckled as her guttural giggles filled the whole room again. “Wheeeeeeeeee!!!”
Soonyoung stopped, cradling her back again into his arms and raining hugs and kisses on her. “Love you best friend!!!”
“Appa!” Yuna said in babyish delight. “Appa! Mmmnam?” Yuna gesticulated with her hands, suddenly fussing now. “Mmmm?”
“Now that,” Soonyoung murmured as he kissed Yuna again, “is Yuna talk for ‘food, appa?’ Such a bright little princess! Off to breakfast we go!”
INTERVIEW WITH KWON SOONYOUNG, 30:
Q: As asked to the other members, were you there when Kwon Yuna was born?
SOONYOUNG: (Nods happily.) Yes, I was! Unlike the other SVT dads, my wife’s labor pains came right on schedule. It was difficult for them because childbirth is very unpredictable at times. My wife used to have long phone sessions with other SVT mommies about how she might have an expected due date but that sometimes the labor comes sooner or later—we were both nervous. I asked for a break then, too, two weeks in advance, just so I could be there for her when the time comes. She got contractions as early as two weeks, so we were kinda expecting that she might give birth sooner. But Yuna came out exactly on the due date as stated by our OB/GYN. (Stares off into a distance, transported by the memory.) I remember phoning Cheol and asking him what to do. He was my closest neighbor since they live just a few blocks away from our house, and we had bonded quite a lot during the pregnancy because he was the one who gave me advice the most. (Breaks into a smile.) He offered to drive us to the hospital the moment my wife’s water broke that morning. Which was really great because I kept panicking and I was almost noisier than my wife during the whole drive to the hospital. Seungcheol-hyung was like, “Calm down, calm down, breathe” and I was like, “Does it hurt, my love? What do I do? You can punch me or slap me if you want if it helps” and I remember my wife laughing and crying at the same time because she said I was too hilarious to watch as I panicked. (Soonyoung sheepishly grins.) It was true, I was a bit too much. I remember pacing on the floor as she gave birth. She was in labor until evening. The members came to the hospital and waited with me, which became some sort of tradition whenever one of us gets to hold our kids for the first time. So all of them were there when I got to peek inside the hospital room. My wife was awake, and she was holding the baby. I remember taking the baby—(gesticulates how)—very carefully, and just staring dumbstruck at the tiny creature in my arms. I was like super amazed because there she was, my baby! I helped make this beautiful baby girl! I was also sort of terrified because I could already see my face in her. (Laughs loudly as he remembers his expression.) But all in all I was just, plain, simple happy…when her tiny fingers enclosed my thumb, I was like, in love all over again. The tears just started falling when she did that. (Shakes his head while smiling.) The members were telling me things like, “You should name her after you because you look so much like each other” but my wife objected thankfully. My wife and I named her “Yuna”.
Q: We’ve heard that there was a special reason why you named her, “Yuna.” Can we ask what it is?
SOONYOUNG: (Claps his hands together when he remembers why.) Yes, there was a reason! My wife was having these very strange cravings with food and movies and she just wanted to be with me most of the time. She even followed me around tours and fanmeets for a while. Wonu joked to me that that was probably why Yuna looked so much like me. Which is true, I think. (Laughs again.) Anyway, for about seven months, I would just lie with my wife on our bed, re-watching Kim Yuna’s figure-skating competitions. She was very much addicted to Kim Yuna. She’d never had a very keen liking for figure-skating or the Olympics before or any sport in particular, so I was really, really surprised. It was when she was already about four months pregnant, that we’d decided that if her Kim Yuna frenzy would not stop by then, we would name our baby after Kim Yuna if our baby would be a girl. (Soonyoung smiles at the camera and bows.) Kim Yuna-ssi, you were such an inspiration. Thank you very much!
7:15 A.M.
NARRATOR: *Let’s see what baby Yuna will have for breakfast! Looks like Kwon-appa is busy making something on the kitchen counter! What could it be?*
“Our Yuna, just wait patiently for your meal,” Soonyoung called out in a sing-song voice.
The strawberry fairy sat tapping her own spoon on her highchair table, making gurgling noises as she chatted with herself. She would squeal at times when she found a tapping rhythm that she liked, but every now and then, she would look up to the direction across her. “Appa?” she asked, her question understandable even by the other people watching from hidden places in the room. “Mmm, Appa?” How long are you going to make that breakfast, Appa?
Soonyoung was sterilizing the bowl that Yuna would use for eating, as well as her utensils. He put them into a saucepan and began putting in water. He waited until he had the water had already boiled for a few minutes before turning off the stove. Still humming (‘The Three Bears’ song was playing in the background) and eating his own apple—the half of the one he was going to use for Yuna’s breakfast—he poured the contents of another saucepan—chopped apples, oats, cinnamon and milk—into a blender. The sound of the whirring blender made Yuna drop the wooden spoon she was playing with.
“Ugh!” Her startled body shook, and her eyes widened.
NARRATOR: *Omo, she looked really surprised at the sound of the blender!*
“You’re still jumpy at the sound of the blender?” Soonyoung cooed as he munched his apple. “Don’t worry! Appa is here! It’s just a noise! Look!” Soonyoung pretended to bump his head on the cupboard. Thud. “Ow!”
Yuna forgot about the blender burst out laughing.
“Sometimes I wonder why we’re best friends, girl.” Soonyoung muttered. He pressed something on the blender, and it whirred again. Yuna once more looked startled. Soonyoung sighed and pretended to bump his head again. Thud. “Ow!”
Again, the little strawberry fairy doubled in laughter. She hiccuped as she did so—another sign that she was extremely happy.
The blender stopped whirring. Soonyoung finished his apple and checked to see if the mix had been pureed well. “Yes, yes, here it comes!” A few moments later, Soonyoung gently laid before Yuna a plate of oat porridge and a sippy cup filled with unsweetened orange fruit drink.
INTERVIEW WITH KWON SOONYOUNG, 30:
SOONYOUNG: (Blushes at being complimented for being a good appa who knows how to prepare and cook baby breakfast.) I sort of cheated on that! I had to study very hard because even before we started taping for The Return of Superman series, my wife had to go on a very long trip for work. She’s a consultant for a technological company…which is kinda cliché by the way. I knew I fell in love with her when she showed me how to re-format my laptop. I just knew that moment! Anyway, she’s been away for almost a month now, but she’ll be back any day now. It’s just a matter of helping the company close that deal. (Shows a list on his phone.) See? She gave me this list of things to do with Yuna just in case I run out of ideas. But some of the ones at the top are a ‘must’. Like I really have to do it for Yuna whether I like it or not. Which involves cooking strange baby meals, crawling lessons—just kidding, of course, my love! (Blows a reconciliatory kiss at the camera.) You really researched these baby meals well! Good job!
“You are a very good girl this morning, so I took some time to find where Eomma put the recipe for your favorite porridge. She wanted you to eat something with spinach, but we’re going to have something more enjoyable!” The little girl clapped her hands, as if she really understood how her dad just disobeyed a direct order from Mommy Headquarters. “Let’s hope we don’t get in trouble, bestie! Who’s your best friend?” Soonyoung rubbed noses with Yuna, who giggled. “Who’s your best friend?”
“Appa!” Whether Yuna said that as a response or whether she just said it as some sort of reflex for her happiness. Nevertheless, these buoyant replies made Soonyoung smile even wider. His heart felt like it could burst inside him.
My baby just called me! Me! Or not. He tried not to look so happy, but the giddiness kept showing on his face. “That’s right!” Soonyoung eagerly said. “We’re best friends, girl. And we’re not gonna tell Eomma, right?”
Yuna’s eyes widened at that. Soonyoung nervously pulled the tray back a little bit. It was as if she understood! “Girl, you can’t tell on me, she’d be angry at the both of us!”
Yuna just kept looking at him.
Soonyoung stared back.
Uh-oh.
“Eomma, no-no?” Yuna looked thunderstruck that she would be asked to keep a secret from her . “Bbuggubbuubuu?”
Soonyoung stared deeply into his daughters eyes. “That’s right, bestie. This is just between you and me. Okay? Pinky-swear?” Soonyoung reached out to do a pinky-swear, but Yuna kept staring at him. Slowly, as if she was wiser than her eight-month-old self, she reached for her bowl.
“Ggaaahh.” She began spooning the cereal clumsily.
Soonyoung breathed a sigh of relief. This was probably nothing.
“Eat on, baby girl!” Soonyoung looked at his watch. We have to go for our walk soon!”
RECIPE FOR YUNA’S FAVORITE PORRIDGE (according to Kwon Soonyoung’s list on his phone):
Oats (instant) | 1.5 tblspn
Apple | ½ big apple
Cinnamon powder | ¼ tsp
Water | ½ cup or adjust depending on Yuna’s appetite
Sugar (optional, if the mix isn’t sweet enough but not too much!)
8:00 A.M.
“The walk” wasn’t actually anywhere far from the house. Using a stroller, Soonyoung would jog around the neighborhood, pointing out things that would make Yuna exclaim loudly as she curiously looked at the object of her attention. Sometimes it was a cat, sometimes it was a fellow baby being walked by a parent, sometimes it was a tree or a flowers or birds. They weren’t anywhere near a park, and Soonyoung usually had to make do with the neighborhood, which wasn’t so bad itself. It was very private and had walled, mostly traditional Korean houses. And it was a good way to get to know neighbors, too! They passed by Seungcheol’s house, which was one of the more modern-looking houses on the block and was empty. The family van was out, too, but Soonyoung saw cameras from windows. Probably at daycare, he thought to himself, before pushing Yuna’s stroller again.
After that walk with Yuna, who had gotten her much-needed Vitamin D from the sun, Soonyoung opened the back gate, where a playhouse that was connected to tunnels and assorted carpet squares, rugs and different type of surfaces were mapped out like a puzzle game on the manicured lawn. Soonyoung gently took Yuna out of the stroller and placed her on a pink carpet square.
“Let’s practice crawling, Kwon Yuna!” he said like a pro dad, already gathering different elastic balls. He then knelt, carefully watching as Yuna tried to place her hands on the carpet square. Her strawberry-green wings fluttered with the morning breeze. Soonyoung smiled broadly. “Yuna, look!” He placed a ball three squares away. “It’s a ball!”
“B-ball!!!” Yuna shrieked excitedly and began crawling on the towards as fast as her little limbs could carry her. Soonyoung excitedly bent down to help just in case she tumbles.
“Yes! A ball!”
Yuna reached for the ball with a hand and it bounced, sending her into more squeals. “Ball!” She clapped her hands as she sat up, her strawberry bottoms bouncing. “Ball!”
“Well…how about this one?” Soonyoung placed a stuffed star four squares away. “Star!”
“Tar! Tar!” Yuna excitedly clapped her hands again and began to crawl towards the star. Soonyoung was heady with excitement. Their lesson-slash-playtime session was going well for the first two tries! When Yuna reached the star, he began to put another object, this time, five squares away. It was Yuna’s favorite outdoor toy. If you know Soonyoung, then you guessed it: a stuffed tiger. “Tiger!”
“Hosh!!! Hosh!!!” Yuna screamed with delight, much happier than before, and was faster this time. The crawling took only about five seconds. She wasn’t hesitant about this particular object—she knew that toy!
Soonyoung thought of you then. “Blame yourself, my love,” you said loudly for the cameras, “our daughter is calling tigers by my stage name!”
Yuna grabbed the tiger’s nose clumsily with finger and thumb. Her face was red with excitement, and her cheeks looked very much like Soonyoung’s when he was younger. “Hoooshi! Hooooshi!” She hugged the tiger close to her, her wings fluttering with her bouncy movements again.
NARRATOR: *AWWW! Everyone’s hearts just fluttered at this show of affection! She must really love her tiger!!!*
Soonyoung smiled again, before taking the tiger from Yuna. Yuna pouted, having been deprived of Hoshi the Tiger.
“Hey, look! Hoshi wants to race!!!” Soonyoung scooted over the carpet squares and made the tiger “run” across the carpet squares and into the playhouse, with Yuna following happily as fast as she could, her giggles sending warmth into the cameramen who were filming the whole thing.
However, once father and daughter were resting on the playhouse, Soonyoung noticed a strange smell. Sniffing and looking at Yuna, who was looking up at him innocently with her mother’s eyes, Soonyoung groaned. “Okay! Playtime’s over!!! Let’s change your diaper.”
TIPS ON HOW TO CHANGE A BABY’S DIAPER (according to Kwon Soonyoung):
Make sure the diaper you are using is fit for your baby’s skin—no matter how good the brand, it still depends on your baby!
Always sanitize changing areas, whether at home or outside, and keep away stuffed tigers while changing—they might catch the smell. Not so good for stuffed tigers like Hoshi the Tiger!
Make sure you throw the used diaper in a proper waste disposal. And don’t forget to take out the trash at the end of the day!
NEVER run out of diapers. It happened once to me while we were at an ocean park—and it was a very bad experience. #NeverForget
Wash your hands before and after!!!
10:00 A.M.
The doorbell rang, and Soonyoung tiptoed out of the living room, where he was rocking Yuna to sleep. She had changed from her clothes and her diaper, and she looked extremely adorable in her new tiger jumpsuit.
INTERVIEW WITH KWON SOONYOUNG, 30:
SOONYOUNG: (Nods at the camera and smiles.) That’s right. I made my wife buy that jumpsuit. My daughter can be a tiger, too! (Does his signature roaring pose.) Horanghae!!!
“Bbbabbujji?” Yuna asked you, all traces of sleepiness vanishing from her face.
Soonyoung grinned at her. “You’re probably wondering a lot, huh? Well, let’s see…” Soonyoung walked towards the door and grinned. “Hellooooooo, playmates!!!”
Jeon Eunha stepped in and bowed. “Good morning, Hoshi-samchon!”
Jeon Wonwoo grinned at Soonyoung and pushed up his glasses. “Hello, Yuna! Hello yourself, Soonyoung.”
Soonyoung chuckled and made way for the visitors. “Come in! Come in!” He welcomed them into the spacious living room with a playpen on one side. Jeon Eunha immediately skipped away to the bookcase, studying the contents carefully.
“What’s she doing? And I’m so glad you made it, Wonwoo!”
“Let me see my goddaughter.” Jeon Wonwoo reached out like a fellow expert dad and drew Yuna to him. Yuna, who had begun to become aware of strangers just a month ago, didn’t seem to mind this handsome stranger who was now rocking her. “She’s getting even more and more beautiful!”
Soonyoung beamed like the proud dad he was. “That’s my girl right there!”
“Soonyoung-samchon,” Eunha gently tugged at Soonyoung, who bent down to ruffle her hair. The beautiful Jeon Eunha looked like an Athenian queen in the making, wisely holding a book again. “Can I read this to Yuna?”
“Of course!” Soonyoung smiled. “Yuna would love being read to!”
Eunha happily skipped again towards the playpen, where plushies were next to the bookcase. “Appa, take Yuna here! I’ll read to her!”
“Okay.” Wonwoo rubbed noses with the cute Yuna and said, “Let’s go to Eunha-unnie, Yuna!” And he went to where his daughter, who was opening the picture book she had. Yuna quickly warmed up to Eunha after a few minutes.
“Yuna loves her unnie,” Soonyoung commented, looking at the two affectionately. “Thanks for coming by, Wonu!”
Wonwoo grinned at him. “Hey, we planned this, remember? Our kids are going to play with each other. Eunha’s been asking and asking me when she saw Yuna on your Instagram while I was scrolling.”
“She’s a very wise girl.”
“She is!”
“I hope Yuna learns from her as she gets older!”
Wonwoo grinned and the two dads walked into the playpen as well, participating with Eunha’s reading session. She was reading “Peter Rabbit”, which had been translated into Korean. Yuna was paying close attention to the pictures as she sat on Eunha’s lap, touching the pictures of the rabbits and the fences and the letters.
Wonwoo and Soonyoung talked about dad stuff and SVT, zoning out of the little kids’ world as the cameras rolled.
INTERVIEW WITH KWON SOONYOUNG, 30:
Q: Does Jeon Wonwoo regularly visit your house with Eunha?
SOONYOUNG: (Beams.) Yes, and I’m very happy he keeps me company! We have always been close, but I think we got closer when we both became dads. He’s the second guy who gives advice to me about stuff. We usually talk on the phone, but as Eunha got older, she wanted to see other friends and go to places. She’s very sharp and bright for her age. (Soonyoung scratches his head.) It’s like Wonwoo carbon-copied himself on his daughter. I’m glad that Yuna has an unnie who takes care of her when they meet, someone she can learn from truly.
“Being a dad changes us, huh?” Wonwoo commented, staring at the two. Yuna has started to doze off on Eunha’s lap. “There’s a tenderness and strength to us that we never had when we were merely guys…husbands…this is different.”
Soonyoung nodded. “Yes. Really.” He sighed. “Yuna changed my life. Literally.”
Wonwoo smirked. “I bet.”
“Congratulations on the addition to the family, by the way!”
Wonwoo smiled wider. “Ah, could I get any happier?”
The two dads laughed.
Suddenly Yuna’s eyes opened and looked directly at Soonyoung. She looked like she was about to cry as her lips pursed menacingly.
Soonyoung knew exactly what to do. He leaned on the picket fence of the playpent and—you guessed it!—bumped his head on it. Thud. “Ow!”
Yuna burst out into a fit of giggles on Eunha’s lap. Eunha, too, did not look so much like the extraordinary three-and-a-half-year-old girl. She was putting her hands into her mouth, book forgotten, laughing as hard as Yuna.
Wonwoo was laughing, too. “You idiot. Stop doing that or she’ll keep asking for it! There are a lot of friendlier games.”
“What can I say?” Soonyoung stopped pretending to cry and grinned at Wonwoo. “Dads do stupid things sometimes, huh?”
Wonwoo nudged him with an elbow. “Not yet, please! I’m still not ready for the dad-jokes phase!”
“Now that I have been so ready for. But in the meantime,” Soonyoung bumped his head again. Thud. “Ow!”
Yuna, Eunha, and Wonwoo burst out laughing, along with the muffled laughter of everyone who was watching behind the cameras.
Judging from the thudding noises, it was going to be a great day for the Kwon residence.

V3 Boys Doing Kabedon On S/O
“Hello, welcome there ! Can i request danganronpa v3 boys doing kabedon on their S/O please ? >.< Merci ~ “
I haven’t even thought about kabedon in ages! This is such a cute idea, I’m in love! Story under the tag~
P.S: In case you don’t know what kabedon is, here is a definition: ‘Kabedon is a very popular means of expressing romantic love or adoration. It is done by a man hitting his hand on a wall, pinning the woman in the process.’
Shuichi Saihara
We all know Shuichi is shy when it comes to romance
He would glow red just as you holding his hand in public
Which is why you two would only cuddle in private, as he was worried about being teased
But today he was stressed
He had spent a week straight trying to find the mastermind, with nothing to show for it
That also meant a week of not seeing you as much as he liked, and he was craving from attention
He walked into your dorm without asking, knowing that you were there, probably sitting at a desk reading or drawing
“Shuichi!” You stood up from your desk, walking towards him. “What are you doing here?”
As you approached your boyfriend you saw the serious expression on his face, causing you to slow down
“Shuichi, are you okay? Have you been sleepi-”
You were forcefully cut off by Shuichi taking a sudden step forward, lightly grabbing your shoulder and pushing you against the wall, slamming his hand into the wall near your head in the process
Looking up at Shuichi, your face reddened at the serious look he had painted on
His eyes were unreadable, only observing you
He collapsed into you, your back thudding lightly against the wall
“Shuichi...?”
You felt his arms wrap around your waist, tightening when he sensed that you were balanced
“I’m sorry Y/n, I really wanted to see you, but I am just so exhausted...”
Relaxing, you returned his hug, smiling softly into his chest
“It’s alright Shuichi, I just wish you hadn’t worked yourself so hard.”
Lightly pushing him back, you led the sluggish boy to the bed, laying him down before getting in yourself
Pulling the covered over the two of you, you silently giggled as Shuichi nuzzled into you, making you into a makeshift teddy bear
“Goodnight love.”
Kaito Momota
It had only been a week since you had gotten stuck in this killing game with all these other students, everyone was just starting to settle in to this new life
People were starting to find the people they could be friends with, while you were stuck with a die-hard crush
The ultimate astronaut, who had already been yelled at multiple times for getting in too many people’s personal spaces, had somehow swooped in and stolen your heart despite only speaking to you a handful of times
And he only really spoke to you if he needed a favor or to hide from someone, so you started to deny his requests, turning and walking away before he could see the faint red on your cheeks
You were walking through the main hall of the school when you were suddenly pushed into the wall, jumping at the thud of the handing hitting the wall next to your head
Looking up to see Kaito, you huffed and diverted your gaze, fiddling with the hem of your shirt as if to give your hands something to do
“What do you want, Kaito? I can’t hide you in my room anymore, Maki knows that’s where you go, and I’d like to not have a repeat of two days ago.”
“Aw, lighten up, Y/N! You know, it’s good to learn to always be on alert, so maybe having Maki break in was a good way to test you!”
“I needed a new door, Kaito.” You glared at him
“And I am sorry about that! But look, I’m here to ask something of you, this time with less fighting and more...talking!”
Talking?
“Spit it out, please.”
Kaito sighed, using his free hand to rub his neck
“Okay. Y/n, I know I am really not in the position to ask this, but, would you maybe wanna have a picnic sometime?”
As the words sunk in, your eyes widened, looking at the boy standing over you. A date? Date?!
Struggling to contain your excitement, you flashed a small smile before pushing his hand down, letting your linger on it just a second longer
“Sure, that sounds nice.”
Ryoma Hoshi
I am so sorry I can’t think of anything but Ryoma trying to do it and only reaching your legs I’m sorry if you really wanted Ryoma but I can’t stop laughing-
Rantaro Amami
You and Rantaro had been close since this whole thing started, you even saving him from Kaede’s trap to kill the mastermind
She apologized profusely of course
Today had been one of those days where there was nothing to do, no motives, no threats, just hanging out
You and Rantaro had been hanging out in the dining hall, eating a late lunch and generally just being bored
Searching for any form of entertainment, you noticed the bottle of soda Rantaro was drinking from and got an idea
Swiping it from his hand, you skipped away from the table
“Y/n, can I have that back?”
“Nope! You’ll hafta come get it!”
This resulted in the two of you fast-jogging around the dining room, him trying to retrieve his stolen drink
Well, you were sprinting, this boy has really long legs
After a couple laps around the room you began to get exhausted, and resorted to just huddling into a corner, back facing your boyfriend
You felt him approach your back, and stifled a giggle
“Y/n, can I have my drink back?” He was panting, as the run had also taken some effort on his part
You shook your head no, pulling the bottle closer to your stomach, away from his reach
He continued to ask, nudging your shoulder or placing a hand on your head, only earning a small laugh or a no as a response
You were suddenly flipped around, a hand forcefully pulling on your shoulder, forcing you to face him, another on the wall next to you
You made eye contact as he leaned down, face inches from yours
“Y/n, you are adorable...”
The hand on the wall dropped down to your chin, holding it in place
Rantaro began to lean in, eyes closing slowly, and yours doing the same
As you anticipated the next blissful moments, a strong pull ripped the bottle from your relaxed hand, your boyfriend suddenly backing off
He gave you a lopsided smirk before walking out of the dining hall, taking a small sip of his drink as if to show victory
“H-hey! This isn’t fair, you owe me a kiss!”
Gonta Gokuhara
Gonta is many things
He’s sweet, funny, smart, and gentle
But he doesn’t really know what personal space is, especially when he’s excited
You two had spent nearly the whole day in his lab, you letting him gush about his bugs and the ones he found particularly pretty
“Any that remind me of Y/n are the best!”
Gonta had been flipping through multiple books trying to find a picture of the butterfly that reminded him of you the most, and it was taking quite some time
You took this time to look at the butterflies pinned to the wall more closely, taking in each spot and groove on the wings.
“Y/n! I found it!”
You jumped at the sudden boom of voice, turning around just in time to be pushed against the wall, book in your face
“See! This one is amazing, pretty! Like you! Gonta apologize for how long it took to find...” He lowered the book, making you suddenly notice how close you two were to each other
Gonta seemed to notice too, as his cheeks turned red and he backed up slightly
“S-sorry! Gonta didn’t mean to hurt Y/n!”
You gave a breathy laugh, jumping up to give him a quick peck on the cheek
“It’s perfectly, fine, Gonta. I love you.”
Kokichi Oma
Let’s face it, Kokichi will pin anyone to anything if it gets a reaction out of them
He mostly does it to you, your blushy reaction always making him tease you even harder
So it wasn’t a huge surprise when he came rushing up behind you whilst on your way to the library
You let out a grunt as you were slammed into the wall, head hurting just a bit
“Y/n~! How’s my favorite little ultimate doing?”
Despite your desire to laugh in his face, you felt your face heating up, and only growing hotter as he leaned in closer
“Aw...whats the matter? Are you sick? Or are you deeply in love with someone?! Oh, let it be me, please!”
He leaned in further, noses touching. “Boop!”
Snapping out of it, you shoved him off, Kokichi casually pretending to be wounded like he always does, falling to the floor
“You’re no fun, Y/n!” His voice grew to a whisper as he clung to your leg. “What if I died?”
You shake your head and remove your leg from his grasp, walking away quickly
This boy will be the death of you, you swear.
Korekiyo Shinguji
...What was happening?
You had been walking to the dorms, planning on getting a nap in before lunch when all of a sudden, you were pinned to the dormitory wall, a tall man looming over you
To say you weren’t friends with Korekiyo was an understatement
No one was
He was just...there. Being him. He didn’t talk to anyone or try to interact. He liked to stare.
And here the boy was, arm next to your head and breathing down at you, breath blocked by the mask he always wore
“Can I help...you?”
Korekiyo seemed to snap out of a trance, eyes that were blankly staring at you now looking into your eyes with some actual living emotion
“Yes. I, uh, would like to ask for your assistance, with something in my ultimate lab...”
You felt your ears heat up, surprised at the way his voice sounded
It sounded really nice.
“I-uh, yeah...yeah! Of course I can help!”
He audibly let out a sigh, eyes averting from you. Was that a blush you see?
“Perfect. I see you’re doing something now, so I’ll request your presence after dinner. Goodbye.” He walked off quickly, sliding back into the school
Did you just...make friends with the unfriend-able?
Kiibo
You and Kiibo had been close since you guys met during the first days of the killing game
Who cares if he was a robot? You loved him and he didn’t know exactly what he was feeling so he guessed it was love!
You knew he was insecure about how little he knew about showing affection, so you were humored when he would confess he learned whatever romantic gesture he just did from another classmate
You didn’t care, it was sweet!
However, when he pinned you to the wall of the gym, you were startled
Mostly at the fact that he did it so forcefully his hand went into the wall, becoming stuck
“M-my apologies, Y/n! Kokichi told me to do it as hard as I can, so...”
The next few hours minutes were spent trying to pry him from the wall, Monokuma finally getting an exisal to dig him out when he had gotten bored of laughing at Kiibo
Kokichi, however, found it incredibly amusing, crying from laughter the second he saw what had happened, not letting him live it down for the next week
“I really gottta hand it to you, Kiibo! You know how to make someone swoon!”

OMG

hoshi x reader (suggestive, demon!hoshi)
jun hoshi the8 dino
“yeah baby / as if you’re thirsty and in need of water / baby, call me here right now / yeah baby / i’ll be searching for you when i’m hungry / yeah right now”
The first time you meet Kwon Soonyoung, it’s in a dream. You’re not sure why it’s happening — you don’t believe in heaven or hell, but before you is a demon with hot breath on your neck that feels horribly real. The strangest part is that he says nothing about being a demon, somehow you just know. Like a long-forgotten instinct. As his nose nearly brushes yours, you feel your fight or flight instinct kicking in. His lips are curled into an aptly devilish grin, his dark eyes glinting at you like spark-filled coals.
“Hi, princess.” His voice seems to go straight to your spine, making you shiver. Your knees go weak and it makes him chuckle. His lithe body leans back, almost weightless in his movements, and you can’t seem to move as his eyes rake over you once, and then twice.
Your throat feels dry, your lips more so. Wherever you are is unbearably hot and dry, and you feel as though you’re withering away under his gaze. Red-orange light bounces off his skin, shining off the thin layer of sweat that seems to coat him.
You want to be disgusted, but that doesn’t seem possible somehow. He tilts his head, surveying you, smiles and bares his teeth—
You hear your alarm ringing, and his grin falters for a moment.
“Morning already,” he muses. His long fingers skim across your cheek, down until they reach your chin which he takes harshly in his hand, forcing you to look into his eyes. He comes so close that the heat radiating off his body makes you have to close your eyes, tears burning behind your eyelids. As he speaks, his lips burn across yours,
“I’ll be seeing you soon, princess.”
You wake up sweating despite the blasting AC in your apartment, shocked by the dryness of your lips and the tears still stinging your eyes.
You know him as Kwon Soonyoung because of what happens next.
You chock the whole thing up as what it arguably was: a dream. Just a figment of your imagination, however real it felt. After all, who doesn’t have a hyper-realistic dream or wake up sweaty from time to time? You’re probably just stressed. The next school term is starting soon, so that must be it. He doesn’t appear in any more dreams for the next few days, and by the time you’re headed back to university you’ve almost forgotten the entire encounter.
But then you see him. He’s sitting in your literature class. He smiles at you and you see his eyes and you know.
Kwon Soonyoung is the name he responds to when the professor calls it. You swear his eyes are always on you, even if he’s sitting in front of you and looking at the board. Just looking at him makes you feel almost itchy, gives you the sensation that you should run and run fast, like hot coals beneath your feet.
You’ve never rushed out of a class so quickly in your life.
But he’s everywhere. And he’s always looking at you.
You’re walking through the quad, minding your own business, telling yourself you’re just crazy—
“Y/N.” It’s like your feet are rooted to the ground. You want to move, but feel as though you can’t. Just like in your dream, your throat goes incredibly dry.
“Good to see you again,” he says, and to any passerby it must seem like two classmates catching up. Run, you tell yourself. Run! Soonyoung’s eyes seem to crack from the inside, fire burning behind his dark irises.
“It won’t do you any good,” he replies, although you haven’t spoken. His posture is casual, but his gaze — his gaze is sinister.
“Wh-what—” He chuckles through closed lips as you struggle to speak. Whatever force holds your feet in place seems to wind up your body and constrict like an invisible snake. Soonyoung tilts his head like he had in your dream, considering you. Without any control, you drop your phone; you swear you see it hover above the ground for a split second before gently landing.
Soonyoung picks it up, turns it in his hands for a moment, smiles. When he presses it into your hands, he leans in to whisper in your ear, his breath red-hot on the thin skin.
“I’ve been promised your soul.” It’s so casual, so nonchalant. He continues grinning, pats your hand with your phone in it and walks back the way he’d come from, and the moment he’s behind you the pressure lifts from your body. You heave in a deep breath, pressing one hand to your chest as the other white-knuckles your phone, terrified.
As you attempt to gather your thoughts, your phone buzzes. You turn it over mindlessly to find a new message notification:
see you tonight, princess
You open your eyes to an unfamiliar room, finding yourself seated on an unexpectedly sleek, modern-looking couch. The space around you is unnaturally hot, and you look from one side to the other, looking for—
“Miss me?” Soonyoung’s voice comes from behind you. You turn so quickly you expect you’ll have whiplash, finding him leaning back against what appears to be a liquor cabinet with a glass of something unnaturally green in one hand. If you didn’t know better, you’d think him the epitome of sophistication and grace. The sight of him is simultaneously beautiful and horrible.
The room is bathed in warm, dim light. It makes Soonyoung’s skin and even his eyes appear soft as the two of you size each other up. You try not to be too obvious as your eyes travel up and down his body, from the billowy white shirt to the tight black pants it’s tucked into, but the smile on his face tells you he noticed.
The glass clinks against the wooden surface as he sets it down; he leans over the back of the couch, and you whip your head back, staring straight ahead. He approaches with a personal heatwave which sends shivers down your spine, raises goosebumps on your skin. Soonyoung chuckles darkly, and the light seems to dim as his lips suddenly skim down the column of your throat to your shoulder, while the hand not propped against the back of the couch traces over the goosebumps along your arm. When the laughter rumbles in his throat you can feel it vibrate across your skin and shiver again, your spine stiff but your knees weak.
“This is fun,” he purrs, chin propped on your shoulder. You turn your head slightly to look at him, and as you do he moves his hand from your arm to your waist, until it's wrapped around you and pinning you to the back of the couch. Despite the lack of physical pressure he applies, there appears to be a heavy weight holding you back, so you can scarcely breathe as you look into his eyes. He smiles, suddenly, shifts so it’s his cheek against your shoulder instead; begins tracing shapes along your waist and hip with the hand circled around you.
“You have questions,” he states, seeming almost curious himself. Suddenly, the weight upon your lungs seems to lift slightly. You lick your dry lips and look into his eyes, weighing your options.
“If you... if you’ve been promised my soul like you say,” you start. “Why not just take it now?”
Soonyoung’s eyes flash, a wide smile splitting across his face. If you didn’t know better, you’d say it’s almost a childish level of joy he’s expressing to you.
“Where’s the fun in that?” he asks. “It’s so much sweeter when it’s like this. When we get to know each other.”
Your vision goes black, and then suddenly you’re beneath him in a different room. The only light seems to be his burning eyes, his hands pin your wrists above your head and his hips press against yours where he straddles you. You feel overwhelmingly hot, and yet you don’t necessarily feel any desire to escape. Soonyoung’s teeth glint like knives in the dark.
“It’s more fun when you look for me,” he says, his weight pressing down on you. You feel your heart begin to beat, thrash wildly against your ribs. He dips his head to the side, presses a smoldering kiss to the junction between your ear and jaw.
“When you’ll crave me like I crave you.” He punctuates his statement with a trail of kisses down your throat until. You yelp in surprise when he sinks his teeth into your shoulder, arching your back inadvertently.
“Soonyoung—” you gasp. He laughs again, face still buried in your shoulder. His tongue gently laps against the bite mark he’s left. Your eyes are screwed shut, chest heaving. You feel his weight lift slightly, finding his eyes looking down into yours once more. They burn bright red now, the color of fresh blood.
“Yeah, baby,” he purrs, drawing in close so your noses touch. “Call me here. Right now.” The overwhelming heat seems to overcome you anew, and your breath shudders from your lungs,
“Soonyoung.” His grin splits wide, suddenly appearing sharp and dangerous as the first night. You close your eyes again and his head dips down—
Your alarm blares. Soonyoung’s lips brush against yours, and his burning breath enters your mouth,
“I’ll be searching for you when I’m hungry, princess. I’ll see you soon.”
