me, bitterly raking out the beds that used to have my garden in it before my landlords had it ripped out last fall, looking for survivors to take with me when I finally get out of here:

every monarda and mint I've ever planted, coming up like nothing happened: they cannot kill us in any way that matters :)

#except the pineapple mint of course #that's a sad weak cultivar that wasn't very happy there to begin with #I'm also very excited about what looks like my two platycodon and maybe 1 echinacea trying to revive #and of course I've cursed this place forever with jerusalem artichoke #never again! but my mark here is eternal #gardenblogging
