#I'm learning how to make granny squares first bc I am a nutcase (probably) and bought yarn for an 8mm hook instead of a 5 or 5.5mm

a grand total of twenty minutes into learning how to crochet, and I can report I have bought three hooks of varying sizes (5.5mm, 6mm, 8mm, and 10mm) and bought the wrong yarn for the project I wanted to do BUT, I have sucessfully learned how to chain!! I'm watching a tutorial and practiced on my own a little bit, and I managed to create a chain of seven with only light confusion
