I am trying to practice drawing Once Again so I decided to make a little doodle of @asks-for-daiki bc I'm his biggest fan (see: little aya with daiki fanmerch right there)

This is the prolouge of a story I have on my wattpad. It is an oc insert story and my oc is a twin of Todoroki.

This is currently the only chapter I have up rn but I am working on the next chapter. I hope you enjoy it!

She exhaled a breath as she closed her eyes, attempting to block out the voice. The classroom was empty and everyone had already left except for Fuyuko and one of her teachers, who was going on about her behavior. 

"Are you even listening to me?" The teacher's voice was filled with annoyance as she spoke. Fuyuko opens her eyes and looks at her, her gray eyes filled with the same annoyance that the teacher was feeling "You know, this behavior is unacceptable, especially for the daughter of one of our top heroes. I'm very disappointed in you," Fuyuko just rolled her eyes. She couldn't care less about how the teacher sees or thinks about her. "Your brother never acts like this, you should act more like him."

Fuyuko scoffs then picks up her bag as she stands up. "Can I go now?" The teacher sighs as she rubs her temple. "Yeah, sure… There's no use talking to you anyways."

She threw her bag and quickly left the classroom, soon she exits the school. Her hands rested in the pockets of her blazer as she walked down the sidewalk. With it still being winter, the air was brisk. Most people were in their vehicles with the warm heater and those who were walking, they were bundled up in jackets and scarves, but not Fuyuko. The cold never bothers her because of her quirk. She loves the cold.

She continues walking for a while until she makes it home. She entered the house and takes her shoes before heading upstairs to change out of her uniform. Once she was in her normal clothes she heads back downstairs then into the kitchen. 

There was her older sister, Fuyumi, preparing dinner. When she heard footsteps Fuyumi looks over her shoulder and smiled  at the sight of the younger girl "Hey Fuyuko! How was school today?"

Fuyuko gave a simple shrug in response and walked up beside Fuyumi. "Good to hear," Fuyumi was used to her sister's non verbal replies. She knew that if it was a bad day she would give no response at all. "Dinner will be ready soon so could you set the table?"

She nods and goes to the cabinets where the plates were. Just as she's about to take some out, she pauses, and looks back at Fuyumi. "Is Natsuo going to eat with us?"Fuyumi shakes her head. "No, he said he was staying over at a friend's tonight" 

'Lucky' Fuyuko thought as she grabbed four plates, along with the cups, and silverware then placed them on the table, as she was finishing setting the table, Shoto walked in. She pays no mind to him and neither does he, but Fuyumi greets him. 

The three of them serve themselves and Fuyumi of course, makes their father a plate and sets it on the table for when he arrives home, Just as they were about to start eating the front door could be heard opening and loud thundering footsteps sounded throughout the halls, nearing the kitchen.

Enji entered the kitchen and goes straight to his seat, then begins eating. He sits to the left of Fuyuko, Fuyumi was on her right, and Shoto was in front of her. The kitchen was silent and no one said anything, other than Fuyumi who tried to make small talk as an attempt to ease the tension in the room, it was a futile attempt. She was the only one that had hope that their family could be patched up, she was the only one who still yearned for a normal family

Enji paused  eating for a moment. "Shoto, I recommend you for UA today," He looks at him. "But this doesn't mean you can slack off. I want you to go train as soon as you're finished eating. Understand?"

Shoto stares down at his plate for a few seconds before finally answering. "Yes." 

Fuyuko was silent. Shoto glances up, he sees her gripping onto the chopsticks so tight that they look like they're about to snap in half, and she was glaring down at her plate as if it had done something to her. Shoto knows how his twin always did anything to make their father proud. It honestly angered him seeing how much she tried. Didn't she see how he treated all of them? Especially their mother? Why would someone want to approval of someone like that? He never understood that.

With her head still down Fuyuko excused herself, then got up from the table with her plate and cup. Before she could walk off Enji calls out to her while wiping his mouth clean with a napkin. "Fuyuko, take my dishes," She paused for a minute then turned back around and took his dishes before quickly leaving.

Fuyuko hated it. She hated how she always tried so hard to make her father proud despite how he treated her. She hated Shoto. She hated how he always got the attention and approval of their father. Not once was she the center of his attention, it was always Shoto. 

And out of everything, Fuyuko hated herself the most. She hated the fact that she wanted the love and approval of the man that did nothing but hurt her and her family. She hated herself for hating Shoto. She knew that he never asked for any of this, but she couldn't help it. She hated how Enji looked at Shoto with pride without sparing a single glance at her. It drove her crazy. 

She misses the days when her and Shoto played heroes together, when she trained with her father before they discovered Shoto's dual quirks. After that she was nothing but a tool used to help Shoto get stronger. 

Fuyuko did the dishes before going upstairs into her room. She laid down on her floor mat with her arms folded underneath her head and stared blankly at the ceiling. As time passes the sun disappears into the horizon and moonlight begins to shine in her room. Through the thin walls she could hear the sounds of muffled yelling. Probably her Father yelling at Shoto for still refusing to use his left side. 

Fuyuko rolled onto her side and used her hands to cover her ears to block out the sounds. She closed her eyes, even though she knows she won't get any sleep. It was always like this.

mikejima miyuki aka "miyu". she/they. 17 years old.

miyuki is written as 瑞希. 瑞 means "auspicious, omen" and 希 means "hope". it’s kind of ironic because madara always called her his good luck charm and they’re the reason he got kicked out of the family, however indirectly. (also, funnily enough, madara’s first name 斑 means “spots, freckles”. his name is practically meaningless whilst miyuki’s is chock-full of meaning). i like alliteration.

she's a sick kid (chronic illness: she has severe asthma) with a terrible relationship with her family overall. her parents are firm believers of the shinkai cult, but they aren't because of experiences in her childhood (remember when mama made his wish to try and heal her? yeah well... it didn't work and now they're disillusioned). her parents are pretty neglectful too, and she's also estranged from their brother who was out of the country a lot, so she's practically raised herself from childhood. despite all that, she still loves their brother very much and sends him anonymous fan mail, as well as diligently following his idol career and collecting all his merch.

her dream is to go into veterinary sciences. when she was younger, mama used to help them find good online courses to study since she couldn't leave the house. now they’re completing online college courses as a child genius, because she was bored a lot as a child and ended up falling down a lot of online rabbit holes. they’re technically enrolled in the same school as aoi but she never shows up on virtue of being a sickly child.

kiryu aoi. she/her. 16 years old.

aoi is written as 碧海, which is typically a boy’s name but to be fair, her parents were expecting a second son and planned accordingly. she doesn’t care as much as she used to, because it’s a connection to her family. 碧 means “blue” and 海 means “ocean, sea”. she directly contrasts her brother (the 紅 in kuro means “crimson”, and his name translates overall as “crimson moon”)

she wants to be a makeup artist when she grows up, and she practices on her brother. he doesn’t mind though, because he likes being close to her. during kuro’s delinquent years, aoi was prone to panic attacks and had many anxiety-fueled breakdowns, which made her an easy target for bullies. she was ostracised by her schoolmates for living in a “broken household” and as a result she ended up developing a snappish demeanour when around people. this is something kuro still feels guilty about, even now, because he should have been protecting her but instead he only contributed to her pain.

she’s akatsuki’s biggest fan, and she shows up to all their concerts. she’s also a secret kagamiP as well as a crazy:bP, much to kuro’s chagrin. she has a one-sided academic rivalry going on with miyuki, who is effortlessly at the top of the class, which irks aoi to no end. she’s on a lot of online forums, where she defends kuro endlessly to weirdos on the ‘net. she’s also in a lot of ensquare forums because she enjoys reading the conspiracy theories. she’s pretty much a normal girl in a normal situation.

shimizu kagami. aka “M1RROR”. they/he/she. 19 years old.

shimizu is written as 清水, and means “pure water”. kagami is written as 鏡, and means “mirror”. kagami is not their real name! it’s actually fuyuko, written as 冬子 which means “winter child”. kagami picked his name as a tribute to a friend, whose name was fuyumi, written as 冬美 which means “winter beauty”.

kagami used to be part of a childhood idol duo with fuyumi, they were called Snow2Flake. but the pressure of idol life, as well all the stress of eyes watching your every move, got to be too much which caused fuyumi to commit suicide, leaving kagami devastated. kagami took a long hiatus, before returning as an idol to fulfil fuyumi’s dream. she chose the moniker “M1RROR” and the name kagami because fuyuko was supposed to be fuyumi’s reflection when they were together. their goal as an idol is to spread the message “you are not alone”, to let people know that they are not unique in their struggles.

M1RROR is a solo idol unit that is a part of rhythm link association. kagami commonly appears on talk shows and is seen doing collaborations with other units. she is a flexible and versatile idol, known for their skill in adapting to any theme or job. however, they struggled with his gender presentation, especially what was deemed “acceptable” for idols during that time. in the end, after much soul searching, she simply decided to do whatever and live his life the way they wanted to.

reze. they/them. 16 years old.

reze, written as レゼ, which has no meaning. they are just “reze”. no last name, they are simply the p-association’s overworked secretary.

reze works a lot with anzu, and the two have a close friendship. despite being surrounded by cute idols 24/7, reze would prefer to be able to stay at home all day eating instant ramen. they are in charge of pr, which makes them want to tear their hair out. they manage majority of es’ social media, including the unit accounts. they’re supposed to make sure that the public image of all units, as well as es, remains squeaky clean. they are on the verge of putting out a hit on tenshouin eichi.

reze studied at yumenosaki, though they graduated from the general course. before anzu joined, the older students used reze as a personal secretary, much to their chagrin. reze is well-acquainted with sagami-sensei’s office, due to collapsing from overwork numerous times. reze is the oldest of four, all girls, and has a pet dog named mimi. reze’s apartment happens to contain a spare room, which has been used by many an idol in need. hence, reze makes sure that their guest room is always some degree of liveable.

Introducing Ash!

Trying to write the next installment of Loru is hard, so it's about time I introduce Ash! I haven't talked much about him cause he's the same age as Midori and they don't meet until NRC so haven't gotten that far in the story, but ANYWAYS.

Name: Kit

Preferred name: Ash

Age: 16 (well the same age as Midori)

Birthday: Sept 9

Hometown: Nisegami , a small village in the northern mountains of Pyroxene

Race: Kitsune beastman

Dorm: Savanaclaw

Appearance: White hair, with grey on the tips of his ears and tail

Personality: Quiet, shy, unsure of himself.

Unique Magic: "Hide and Seek" - Can make himself invisible and untraceable via sight and smell.

Family: Mother, 5 older sisters, father (deceased)

History: Was raised as a servant to his sisters, and as such never had a chance to explore his own hobbies or interests. He developed his UM as a way to escape from them when they were especially brutal. When the carriage from NRC arrived he happily went along to escape his family, but found himself completely out of his element once he arrived. He's sorted into Savanaclaw and is almost immediately harassed by Midori who thinks his tail looks fuzzy and wanted to touch it. When she learns that his name is "kit" and that he's not an only child to make it funny, she asks what he wants to be called and that's the first time he says his preferred name out loud and is from then on called Ash by everyone except his family.

I'm going to get more into this, but will put it under a cut cause there's a lot going on and i'm sure I'm going to ramble too much. If you have any questions you wanna ask for Ash please send em along!

So basically the village they live in was a regular northern village where the residents weren't super good at magic, so when his ancestors landed and claimed that they could bring prosperity and fortune to their land if they were worshiped the villagers agreed. Due to the families affinity at foresight and elemental magic the village did indeed prosper and was renamed for their new Gods.

The women of the family rose higher in the familial ranks due to their wit and beauty, the men falling to the position of servant to support them. Ash's father was enamored by his mother and was treated like a king until they had Ash, where he was immediately shunted to servant due to his inability to continue providing female children. Ash is the youngest of 6 siblings and once he learned to walk he was tasked with looking after all his sisters every whims. Due to the status change, Ash's father commits suicide when Ash is 5 years old as he no longer wants to be treated like a slave and death is better than servitude, leaving Ash to care for his sisters on his own. Ash is named Kit since he's just a lowly fox and doesn't deserve the honor of a name like his sisters. He hates it a lot.

This is Ash's oldest sister, Hinako her unique magic is foresight and with a persons DNA can see snippets of their future. Often throws hair into a bonfire to make a spectacle out of it to wow the villagers and keep up the illusion that they're doing something more godlike than magic.

His second oldest sister Fuyuko her unique magic is ability to make it snow!

Third oldest sister Haruko she can make it rain!

Fourth older sister Natsuko her unique magic is heat.

Fifth oldest sister, Akiko her unique magic is control of wind!

Basically all of his sisters are shitty assholes who love being doted on and refuse to do anything difficult for themselves instead making their 'pets' do it. They call anyone romantically interested in them pet and reap the rewards of being pretty and untouchable. They're the worst.

Ash himself when he arrives at NRC just quietly lurks around Savanaclaw cause he doesn't know how to integrate himself into conversation with the other rowdy folks. Midori finds him spying on her group of loud ass first years and is like HEY FOX DUDE and pets his tail while telling him that his tail looked fuzzy and she wanted to touch it. She asks for permission to touch his ears with a handful of tail (because the goober didn't ask permission for that).

When he tells her that his name is Kit she laughs and is like AHA THAT'S FUNNY ARE YOU AN ONLY CHILD TOO thinking it's hilarious she met another person with a name that just describes them. When he admits he's got 5 older sisters with pretty names she decides his name is dumb, no longer funny, and asks what he wants to be called. After that she drags her new friend Ash around introducing him to all the other first years, and decides she'll help him find things he likes doing since he's never had a chance before and HELL YEA THAT SOUNDS LIKE FUN. He is both terrified and entranced by her feral energy cause she's completely different from the women he was raised with and they soon become inseparable.

He goes home with Mido over christmas in their second year, and Floyd and Yoru basically adopt him on the spot when they hear about what sort of bullshit his family pulled with him. Later in their third year when Midori goes to his family shrine over spring break it gets dicey, she slam dunks his sisters into the side of the mountain, parents get called, but because Yoru and Floyd are also feral, they end up burning the shrine down before leaving for good. Ash stays with them for every other school break until he and Mido get a place of their own.

Kazuki siblings concept (colored sketch bc I'm lazy)

Alright it's the Kazuki siblings! The 1st born and only daughter is Fuyuko, a lawyer. Don't ask me what kind. Work in progress. The second born extrovert is Haruto. He vibing and is a physicist. Then there's the third born and second son, Ryō. You know him, maybe you love him, the biochemistry professor and best friend to Lorenza.

I've been writing a drabble of if Ryō hosted a family dinner and Lorenza was his guest, and the idea of Ryō having siblings popped up. His siblings are cool. His mother... not so much at that time.
