hey btw stop sending me asks that are just "draw [insert thing here]" it makes me feel like I'm being bossed around rather than presented an idea. I like getting asks as a way to interact with y'all and play with fun concepts that you tell me about and just being told what to do sucks the fun out of it.

The first post i made got what to me is a good amount of likes so ig I'm just sad about the update not doing as well

I'm not even a writer myself but I've been reading so many works that have inspired me (yours included)

I've been trying to push myself to interact with authors i like but I'm always too shy and nervous among other things(like now lol) not just to tell them what i think of their works or ask questions but since I'm not a writer really, to ask for opinions/ help

I hope one day i can come off anon and do those things, but thank you btw! cause you really didn't have to answer the ask and its rlly reassuring:( <3

oh that's totally normal. seriously, there have been times when i wrote a chapter for ghosting and thought "wow i really like this one, i think it's gonna get a lot of traction" and then the chapter just doesn't do as well as the most recent ones have and i'm like 😶 kjdshakshdgk and then sometimes i think a chapter will flop and it does really well??? i cry

i'm not a writer either, honestly. my experience in writing comes from forum rps and stuff so i guess that helps?? but writing a story is totally different so i struggle a lot too (+ i only rp in my native language so writing so much in english is an adventure lemme tell you......). but tbh the more you do it, the better you'll get. i used this example recently, but comparing chapter 3 (the first written chapter) to chapter 29 (one of the most recent written chapters i've posted), i can see SO MUCH improvement. and i know there's a lot i can get better at too, i still struggle a lot with my vocabulary, but reading helps. if you happen to struggle with that too, an idea i've had is writing down words that i see on other peoples fanfics and that i don't use a lot bc i simply forget they exist??? it could help i think! i bought a little notebook to use for my english vocab (not just for writing but for everything really) so i'll probably start doing that soon!

but i get you on being shy/nervous. i have some people i interact with frequently but i'm still always shy to go and talk to them dkjahkdjahs i actually struggle w social anxiety irl so even when i'm on the internet it's hard for me to go talk to people (although obviously i can talk a loT more here, as you can see by the length of this reply, but still)

(and honestly the network thing i said in your previous ask might be a really good idea too!! it gives your works more exposition)
