I can't believe I'm actually finally saying this but...I've started varnishing this thing. Which means.
It. is. almost. done.

Hey there! I normally paint with acrylics and was wanting to seal my finished pieces but.....am not sure what to do that with! I'm worried about my finished paintings being too glossy but also want to protect them. Do you have any products you would recommend? Thank you for your time.
Hi! Yeah, there's a couple options for sealing acrylic works that I use. I'm sure there are more out there but these are my favorites from what I have personally tried.
I use Liquitex gloss varnish for most of my pieces. It brushes on and does a good job at protecting pieces from damage, moisture, and UVs. The glossiness ensures your darks remain dark, too, it tends to deepen the colors in a nice way, but the tradeoff is that it's very shiny. (Always apply this in multiple thin layers--applied too thick, it makes a strange surface effect that is undesirable.)

Since I do mixed media a lot, some of my materials will re-activate if I brushed an acrylic varnish over them, such as pastels. For this, I use Minwax Polycrylic spray protective finish, since it will seal even chunky stuff like oil pastels. The Polycrylic is pricy but comes in a matte spray which deepens the colors, protects the surface, AND isn't too shiny! I like the satin finish, too, and the gloss... it's a good, versatile spray varnish I use for lots of stuff. My partner uses the matte to seal his acrylic painted polymer clay sculptures.

They make matte varnishes that are brush-on, too, but I find the fogginess left by a matte finish doesn't flatter most paintings, so I opt for the shiny gloss instead. (Gloss also is easier to dust/clean.)
Hope this helps!

Do you know what lip products Gibi asmr uses? She always has the best makeupless makeup for her videos where its flawless base and lashes and winged liner. But her lips always look so bright and healthy, mine look so pale and sickly in constrast when I dont wear like a lipstick when I want to do makeupless makeup. Is it a lip stain? Shes def wearing a clear gloss but her lips are like the perfect shade of natural yet bright pink and it compliments her skin so well!! Do you know at all?
Obsessed with the fact that you think this is something I might just know 😂
I think it's probably a variety of products, but here are the ones I could find:
In So Very Gently Pampering You with Makeup ASMR :’), she's using the LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask, so that may be part of why her lips look so healthy (I use this one too, it's a great product).
In Doing Your Makeup Before Class to Impress Your Crush, she has a Bare Minerals lip gloss - I think it might be the Lip Gloss-Balm, but I'm not sure what color (maybe Clarity or Serenity?). She also has a deep red lipstick that she says she blots in with her finger and that looks like "you're not even wearing lipstick". I think it's the L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche Matte Lipcolour in the shade Doesn't Matte-R, but that's a guess based on the packaging. She puts a small amount of a brighter pink lip gloss over it, but I'm not sure what that one is - maybe the Revlon Lip Gloss in Pink Pop.
In Teeny Tiny Makeover for You, she uses Aquaphor to prime the lips, MAC Macximal Silky Matte Lipstick in Whirl, and then two NARS lip glosses - I think the darker one is in the shade Orgasm and the lighter one is in the shade Turkish Delight, but I'm not sure.
Then I found the 5 Hours of Gibi ASMR Doing Your Makeup video, so here are all of the lip products I could identify in that:
Rude Cosmetics Bubblelicious Lip Exfoliator
One that I can't quite place - the tube says "Bad Habit" and the color she picks is called Trophy Wife, but she has a whole bunch of them.
Kailijumei Jelly Flower Lipstick in the shade Minute Maid
Makeup Forever Lipstick - I'm not sure of the color, maybe Praline or Pink Beige?
L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche Original Satin Lipstick in Fairest Nude (this is I think the one that's most similar to her lip color)
Winky Lux Blossom Matcha Lip Balm
Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick in Bohemian
Jeffrey Star Velour Liquid Lip in a bright green color (so probably not the one you're looking for) and the glitter that goes over it in the color Snow Cone
Sigma Lip Gloss in Lilac Wine
Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss in Rosy Future
Stila Matte Liquid Lipstick in Rubino
NARS Lipstick in Rosecliff
Sigma Lip Gloss in Secret Garden
L'oreal Infallible Pro Matte Lip in some shade of red
Bare Minerals Lip Gloss in 24 Karat
Revlon Lip Gloss in Pink Pop
Two's Company Wine Not Lip Tint in Grape
Sigma Lip Gloss in Pink
Anastasia Beverly Hills Matte Lipstick in Soft Pink
Having said all of that, I actually don't know if any of these colors will give that same "my lips but better" look on you that they do on Gibi. Depending on whether your undertone is warm, neutral, or cool, if you have lost of saturation or are more muted, if your natural coloring is high contrast or low contrast, and how pigmented your lips are naturally, some colors will look more natural on you than others.
For example, if you're cool-toned, have dark contrast, and have a lot of saturation, these types of colors might look the most natural:
Whereas if you're cool-toned, have low contrast, and have low saturation, these types of colors might look the most natural:
And if you're warm-toned, have high contrast, and have high saturation, these types of colors might look the most natural:

Finding what types of colors work for you will really help to make your lipstick color look natural and like you're not wearing anything. I've heard some people say that you should match your lipstick to your nipple color, but I've never tried that, so YMMV on that tip. Using a lip exfoliator, an overnight lip mask, and a lip balm can also help to make your lips look healthy and nice even when you're not wearing anything on them.
