#I've seen a lot of meta on the infantilization of bob that fails to discuss this

Look, we're not babying Bob here. But there were deliberate choices made with the costuming, framing etc. of his character that show he remains, obviously, deeply affected by childhood trauma. He's dressed in oversized clothing (the same as his child self) in his attic fidgeting with a Rubik's cube. A toaster sits behind him (the Brave Little Toaster, anyone? Maybe it was his favorite childhood movie).
Just saying it's not infantilizing or regressive to show him surrounded and clothed in these childhood relics. It doesn't mean he's not mature or isn't living an adult life - just shows how the pain and vulnerability of his past lingers.
