Some people prefer natural flavours, while others prefer artificial flavours. However, it's important to find a flavouring that will fit the person you are purchasing the water for. If you are someone who enjoys variety in their drink, then artificial flavours may not be what they are looking for. However, if they just want a clean and clear drink, then natural flavourings may be better suited for them.
Another thing to consider is the size of your home. A large or small home will likely have different consumption needs, so it's important to choose the right sized flavouring dispenser for your home.
Some diet soft drinks companies UK are starting to pull back on their drink sponsorship programs. The trend seems to be that consumers are growing more aware of the negative health effects of sugar-sweetened beverages and are looking for other ways to fuel their bodies. There are a number of diet soft drinks companies in the United Kingdom. It is believed that some of these companies have pulled back on their sponsorship programs because of the negative publicity they have received.
A research study by YouGov found that 41% of people think diet soft drinks companies UK  are “bad for your health”, with that number increasing to 53% among those aged 25-34. With a growing preference for healthier alternatives to sugary drinks, it’s no surprise that diet soft drinks companies are facing competition from beverage makers who see a potential market for their products.
Do you ever feel like you’re in a race to lose weight? If so, then you’re not alone. Diet soft drinks companies UK are always looking for ways to market and sell their products, and there are a ton of them out there. So, how do you know which one is the best for your diet? Here are a few tips:
1. Do your research
Before making any purchase, it’s important to do your research on the diet soft drinks companies UK that you want to buy. This will help you know which ones have been successful in the past and will be compatible with your lifestyle.
2. Look for low-calorie options
One of the most popular diet soft drinks companies uk options is lower calorie diet sodas.
Tumblr media
Diet soft drinks companies UK are enjoying a resurgence in popularity, thanks to the increasing number of people looking to lose weight and cut down on sugar. One of the biggest operators is Coca-Cola, which has seen its sales increase by 25% in just three years. PepsiCo is also resurgent, with sales up by 16%.
The rise in diet soft drinks companies in the UK is likely due to a combination of factors, including lower sugar levels in traditional sodas and increased awareness of how harmful sugar consumption can be. However, there are also other options available for those looking to replace regular soda with something healthier and more balanced. These include water or tea products, which have lower levels of sugar and fewer calories per serving than standard soda alternatives.

Smart Soda offers good sparkling water makers Overall, it is dependable, simple to operate, and elegant is the best way to describe this Smart Soda. For anyone that finds it to be a chore, or feels that regular water is kind of boring, turning their tap water sparkling using Smart Soda flavoured sparkling water dispenser UK is a good way to make getting your liquids are a little more exciting.
Smart Soda Without CO2 View offers the best flavoured sparkling water dispenser UK by volume. Transform your tap water into sparkling water with the push of a button with this starter kit. The models turn tap water into sparkling water at a touch of a button, saving not just plastic bottles, but also the hassle of carrying it home. Soda dispensers make sparkling in seconds, by injecting CO2--that is, carbon dioxide--into regular water with a refillable cartridge. Fast-forward to today, and an increasing number of people are making sparkling water at home thanks to soda makers, which inject CO2 into plain water from a cartridge.
Today, sparkling water is created when the combination of high pressure and cold temperatures causes carbon dioxide to dissolve into the water, creating carbonic acid. Most sparkling water manufacturers in the market use a carbon dioxide (CO2) canister to create sparkling water and beverages. Many flavoured sparkling water dispensers UK, including the popular SodaStream models, are designed for only carbonating water. However, not all soda makers are designed for carbonating beverages besides water, so make sure you first consult your products instruction manual.
Tumblr media
Yes, if your flavoured sparkling water dispenser UK is designed to carbonate fluids other than water, it also works for adding bubbles back to plain sodas or beers. Carbonate more than just water with this electrically-powered soda maker, such as spritzing orange juice with
fizzy juice in the morning, or making carbonated cocktails at happy hour. Carbonate everything is Drinkmates' tagline when it comes to testing out this stainless steel model, designed to inspire users to look beyond water and experiment with adding bubbly elements to wine, iced tea, and cocktails. It is the only carbonator to add a spritz to any beverage -- juice, iced
tea, wine -- you name it, this machine can get it sparkling.
This gorgeous piece will put fizz in your water and a glamour on the drinking experience. Pretty irresistible stuff, huh? This gorgeous piece is really the Rolls Royce of flavoured sparkling water dispenser UK. Anyone who does not share the affinity for sparkling soda can be forgiven for thinking that this model is a stunt. Figures like Smart Soda  would be hugely beneficial for the planet, so it has never been a better time to invest in one of their sparkling water dispensers.
Before we begin listing tips for making the most of your flavoured sparkling water dispenser UK, we found the best sparkling water makers to get delivered right to your doorstep. Here are our picks for the best sparkling water makers in 2021 -- including three Carbonator-branded models from SodaStream, which are all on sale, so get a deal while you can. Our review experts tested a rigorously researched list of sparkling water makers, scoring them against a standardised set of criteria, to bring you our tried-and-tested recommendations of the best you can buy. Sodastream, founded 117 years ago, has probably cornered the sparkling water market, and is a brand that we all recognize, but others are following in its footsteps. Here, we pick out the spiffy contraptions that are currently available for you to use at home. More than 40 million people worldwide are carbonating their own water using one of the world's three compelling designs.
Smart Soda, designers and makers of world-class drinking water solutions, offers some excellent insights. Upgrades are only magnified when you have a well-designed, elegant, efficient flavoured sparkling water dispenser UK, like many of the Smart Soda water solutions, which offer sparkling water. Increasingly, water dispensers and tap systems are being made with an option for sparkling water (Smart Soda has several of these available here), giving employees a different water solution, providing the added fizz needed to perk up a long working day. It is best to have a bottle of chilled water ready to go in your refrigerator for those times you need a fizzy beverage.
Twenty-one 1.5 litres for one person could make for quite a few bottles, so commit to saving on all of that plastic by getting yourself your own bubbly water maker in your house. If you would rather keep and serve your sparkling water from glass bottles, then you will be glad to know the Sparkle comes with not one, but two glass carafes. Like other Smart Soda models, the Sparkle should be used only for carbonating water to make sparkling water, otherwise, you will be nullifying your warranty. The system can be used to carbonate water, tea, juice, and cocktails (a big plus compared to the water-only models), but uses a different method of getting CO2 into the beverage.
Tumblr media
All you have to do is push a single lever to carbonate a water bottle. For this test, we followed the instructions for carbonating the water from each model, filled up the bottle with the recommended quantity, and released the gas. We then tested the water again after 12 hours, assessing which bottles held bubbles better. We found that the Sparkling Was the only model to produce. This was not the case with the SodaStream setup, since it was simple to follow, and within a few easy steps, I was able to have sparkling water out of my Smart Soda using the Reusable Bottle View. With the discovery of soda water, people started mixing their spirits in that soda water, thus making drinking alcohol more socially acceptable.
We also have mains fed office water systems UK and innovative drink systems for convenience store UK. For more information on our products, please visit our website at www.smartsoda.co.uk. We have a great range of products for both the home and business.

Kefir Market Size, 2020 Industry Share and Global Demand | 2027 Forecast by Fortune Business Insights™
Kefir Market size is projected to reach USD 1.84 billion by 2027, exhibiting a CAGR of 5.4% during the forecast period. Excellent benefits of fermented dairy products on heart health will prove to be a major game-changer for this market in the coming years.
Fortune Business Insights™ in its report, titled “Kefir Market Size, Share & COVID-19 Impact Analysis, By Product Type (Dairy-based & Non-dairy), By Nature (Organic & Conventional), Category (Flavored & Non-flavored), Distribution Channel (Supermarkets/Hypermarkets, Convenience Stores, Specialty Stores, & Online Retail), and Regional Forecast, 2020-2027”. Findings from a 2018 study conducted by researchers from the University of Eastern Finland revealed that men who consume large amount of fermented dairy items such as kefir and yoghurt have a significantly lower risk of developing coronary heart disease. Another study, conducted in Brazil and published in the Journal of Nutritional Biochemistry in 2019, showed that kefir-infused fermented milk improved blood pressure and prevented cardiac hypertrophy. With increasing prevalence of cardiovascular disorders, which are the number one cause of death worldwide according to the WHO, the demand for probiotics-laden ingredients such as kefir is likely to spike, as people become more aware of their potential health benefits.
The report states that the global market value stood at USD 1.23 billion in 2019 and provides the following:
A thorough study of all the factors driving and restraining the     market;
Detailed analysis of the various market segments;
A comprehensive examination of the regional prospects for the     market; and

 Market Opportunity
Increasing Focus on Gut Health to Fight the Coronavirus to Create Opportunities
The COVID-19 pandemic has renewed the debate on maintaining gut health, with several health experts emphasizing and highlighting the critical link between the immune system and the gut. For example, epidemiologists at the King’s College London established through research that gut bacteria release many important chemicals, including Vitamin A, which help regulate and strengthen the immune system.
With a vaccine for the coronavirus seeming unlikely in the immediate future, bolstering the gut micro-biome, and the immune system by extension, has become crucial. This is possible, according to the researchers, by consuming healthy amounts of natural probiotics found in drinks such as kefir and fermented foods such as Korean kimchi. The current health crisis, therefore, may generate conditions favorable to the kefir market growth. However, disruptions in supply chains and downturn in economic activities will dampen the growth prospects of the market in 2020.
 Regional Insights
High Nutritional Awareness to Power Market Growth in Europe
Europe, where the market size stood at USD 654.78 million in 2019, is expected to dominate the kefir market share during the forecast period. The central growth driver for this region is the widespread awareness about the nutritional requirements to maintain gut health. Emerging trend of healthy snacking is also expected to boost the demand for fermented milk in the region.
Increasing investment in research to investigate the benefits of probiotic food & drinks by companies in North America will fuel the regional market growth. In Asia Pacific, the market will be mainly driven by the growing interest of consumers in novel, flavored probiotic products, especially dairy-based kefir, which held a share of 71.91% in 2019 in the region.
List of the Leading Companies Profiled in the Global Kefir Market are:
The Icelandic Milk and Skyr Corp (New York, U.S.)
Maple Hill Creamery, LLC (New York, U.S.)

Single Use Plastics – A Disaster for Our Environment and Our Health
Single use plastics have turned into a nightmare for our environment. Not only because they take hundreds of years to disintegrate, but also because they are causing great peril to our planet, animals, marine life, and humans.
The number of whales that have died due to ingesting plastics and garbage has increased substantially.  This year, in March 2019, a whale showed up at the Gulf of Davao in the Philippines with 88 pounds of plastic in its stomach (40kg), a month later another one died in Sardinia, Italy with 48 pounds (22kg) of plastic. Last year, one died in Murcia, Spain with 64 pounds (29kg) of plastic, and another in Indonesia with 13 pounds of plastic (5.9kg).  The latter had 115 disposable cups, 25 bags, bottles, and flip flops, among other wastes. Sadly, this list of dead whales is not exhaustive.
We have also witnessed several videos and photos on social and traditional media of turtles, seals, whales, and other animals tangled with plastics and fishing nets. Moreover, of dead birds with their stomachs full of plastic pieces even from remote and uninhabited places like Midway Island in the north Pacific. The plastic invasion is so pervasive there, that Albatross birds feed their offspring with plastic pieces because they confuse it with food. There is also evidence of high concentrations of plastics in pristine areas such as the arctic and even the deep ocean, which is testament that plastics have polluted the whole planet.
I think that nobody imagined that the damage caused by this material would be so much and so extensive. But now we are seeing it.
Each year between 4.8 to 12.7 million tons of plastics are thrown at sea, according to Science Magazine. Consequently, an estimated 5 trillion plastic pieces are present in the ocean. A lot of this garbage has accumulated in 5 areas or gyres. The biggest one known as the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, located between Hawaii and California, is more than twice the size of Texas and has an impressive amount of plastics, many already turned into microplastics, which are pieces 5mm o or smaller.
A report from the World Economic Forum from 2016 forecasts that if we continue with current practices by 2050 there will be more plastics in the oceans than fish. This is terrible! Even worse, according to various studies plastics have already entered our food chain and thus we are ingesting microplastics through the fish, shellfish, and the salt we eat.
And it does not end there, microplastics have been found in many other foods such as honey, sodas, beer, processed foods, bottled water, and now tap water!
A scientific study commissioned by Orb Media found that 83% of the water samples taken from 5 continents had microplastics fibers. The United States was the country with the highest concentration, a total of 94%. Samples were taken from places like Congress buildings, the headquarters of the Environmental Protection Agency and the Trump Tower in NYC. European countries like Germany, United Kingdom, and France obtained the lowest percentage, 72%, yet this amount is still high. In other words, more than a billion people in the world are drinking water with microplastics. Unfortunately, used water treatment systems do not have the capacity to remove microplastic particles.
There are various companies which claim that they can remove microplastics from your drinking water and accordingly sell these products. This is a better option, since the above-mentioned study also reported that bottled water contains twice the amount of microplastics than tap water, on average 325 particles per liter.
What implications does this have on our health? Scientists are still evaluating the possible consequences, but it is known that plastics are not biodegradable, they simply break into smaller and smaller pieces and persist in the environment. Plastics can enter the human body through the air, water, soil, and food in microscopic amounts or as nanoparticles. It is also known that this material has a great capacity to carry toxic substances and pathogens, and that nanoparticles can enter the blood, cells, and organs.
Many of the additives that are added to plastics like Bispehenol A (BPA) and phthalates can be harmful to our health. Phthalates are endocrine disruptors that can also cause certain types of cancer. Studies with animals have revealed that these can be detrimental to their health. Thus, plastics can affect animals not merely by physical obstruction but also because of the harmful effects of these chemicals.
Based on this evidence and terrible scenario, we must ask ourselves: Is it worth it to continue using a product that has been designed for human convenience but that is causing so many problems? In my opinion, the answer is simply, NO. Then, what solutions do we have?
The best solution is to significantly reduce the use and production of this material.
In the latter years various initiatives have been implemented towards this end.
Raising Awareness: Is the UK a model?
Educational and awareness campaigns are a great way to bring attention to the negative effects of plastics. The best example is the campaign led by the British Sir David Attenborough, who with his Blue Planet II series, raised the conscience of British people to the point that its Prime Minister at the time, Theresa May, announced at the beginning of 2018 a 25-Year Environmental Plan, which in spite of having no legal backbone, focuses greatly on plastics.
It has been called the “Blue Planet Effect,”since British people were so impressed by images of birds affected by plastics and whales trying to eat plastics, that only two years after this series was released, 82% of consumers in the United Kingdom think that the amount of plastics used for food and drinks should be reduced drastically. As well, 57% of British people consider that plastic pollution is the biggest threat to life and the environment in modern history (Ubamarket Survey).
The furor and public pressure have influenced businesses in the UK and in particular supermarkets. Big supermarket chains such as Iceland, Aldi, Marks & Spencer, Tesco, Waitrose, Morrisons, Coop, Sainsbury, and Lidlhave all began reducing their plastic footprint. After all, a study revealed that the grocery retail sector was responsible for 40% of plastic waste from packaging. Part of the problem is that supermarkets in general have been using plastics in excessive and even ridiculous manner. Is it really necessary to wrap bananas and other vegetables and fruits in plastics? The British public has started to get tired of these practices and is demanding a change. The same should occur in other countries.
These changes have also been the result of the work performed by non-profit environmental groups like Greenpeace, Friends of the Earth, and A Plastic Planet.  Greenpeace, for example, with its Checking out on Plastics report, unveiled the initial slow progress and piecemeal approach carried out by British supermarkets. This same organization was also able to convince, US supermarket Trader Joe’s, through an internet campaign, to reduce its plastic packaging.
A Plastic Planet worked with Ekoplaza, a Dutch supermarket, to be the first to open a plastic-free aisle in Amsterdam last year. Since, the supermarket has replicated the concept in all of its 74 stores. This aisle has a total of 700 products packed with alternative materials such as compostable bio plastics, carton, glass, and metal. A Plastic Planet believes that this initiative provides customers with the choice to buy plastic-free and shows that change in food packaging is possible.
It is true that there were already other plastic-free stores in the British market and Europe, such as Original Unverpackt in Germany, which offers a wide range of products in bulk, such as milk and pasta. The difference now is that the big supermarkets are starting to implement the concept. An important step to win the war against single use plastics.
In the UK, each supermarket has implemented different programs. Iceland, which specializes in frozen foods, was the first to announce the elimination of all plastics from its own brand while simultaneously declaring that they would become plastic-free in 5 years.  Waitrose launched in its Oxford store, Unpacked, a bulk system by which customers can refill their own, or for purchase, containers with up to 200 products such as fruits, vegetables, grains, beer, wine, and house cleaners. This program has been successful. Therefore, the chain has announced its expansion to other stores. Morrisons now sells 127 lines of fruit y vegetables without plastic in 3 stores and it will expand the concept to 60 stores. Its goal is to reduce 9,000 tons of plastic a year.
Marks & Spencer this year began a pilot program in its Tolworth store throughout which 90 lines of fruit and vegetables are sold loose or plastic-free and it will expand to other stores as part of its goal to become zero-waste by 2025. Tesco and Aldi have launched similar programs. Aldi just launched a new packaging for meats that will reduce 240 tons of plastic a year.
Are these efforts enough? These initiatives are positive and certainly commendable. They serve as models to big supermarket chains in other countries. Furthermore, they demonstrate progress in the UK’s grocery retail sector and a unique dynamism since these supermarkets are continuously innovating to reduce their plastic use. The work is nevertheless not finished because the presence of plastics is still significant in these supermarkets. I really like Marks & Spencer, but I am disappointed by the strong dependency of plastics in their stores and the fact they sell almost no organic products. I am eager to see their progress as they unfold their zero-waste plan. While I wonder if they will adopt a model similar to Ekoplaza, or simply expand its bulk refill system, develop a combination, or if other innovations will be developed.
Experts in the UK estimate that in order to further reduce plastic use in the country and to achieve more ambitious goals in this and other sectors, the approval of legislation will be necessary.
What are other countries doing? Is it enough?
If we consider that 85% of marine litter is composed of plastics it means that there is still a lot of work left at the national and international level to prevent this material from reaching the seas. UK is one of the pioneers, but there needs to be similar efforts in other countries.
Aware of the threat posed by plastics, other countries have adopted legislation to prohibit microbeads and plastic bags. Microbeads are pieces of plastic added to cosmetics and cleaning products since the 90s that significantly harm marine species. As a result, these have been prohibited in the United States, Canada, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Sweden, Taiwan, France, and now the European Union will ban them starting in 2020.
A total of 127 countries have prohibited or regulated plastic bags. Notwithstanding, these steps are merely the beginning, to stop this crisis there needs to be a greater adoption of legislative and educational measures worldwide. France and the EU have taken the lead adopting progressive legislation, both of which will be examined in my next article. Canada just announced the adoption of a law similar to the EU that will prohibit certain single use plastics by 2021.
In general, to overcome our plastics addiction, massive educational campaigns will be necessary at the national and international levels. This feat is very challenging because: 1. It is about educating to inspire a change of attitudes, habits, practices, and models of consumers and businesses. 2. Rapid action is required faced with this imminent threat. 3. Developed as well as developing countries are still very attached to the daily use of disposable plastics. A tour through any local supermarket is enough evidence to show the omnipresence of plastics. 4. A greater commitment is required from businesses, government, and individuals. 5. Some countries do not have the appropriate laws, enforcement capacities, and infrastructure to reduce their plastic footprint.
This latter is the reality faced by the 5 countries that throw the most plastic into the oceans. A study determined that China, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam are responsible for 60% of all plastic garbage that enters the seas.  However, this is a global problem since for years western countries have been exporting their recyclable items to these countries.
Thus, any educational campaign or legislative proposal must consider the challenges and idiosyncrasies of the country to be successful. Nevertheless, there are certain simple actions that can be adopted anywhere. To educate the public regarding the harmful effects of plastic is paramount. Likewise, it is essential to educate to reduce its use otherwise we will never escape this vicious cycle.
Physical Cleanup of Oceans
Based on the overwhelming amount of plastics in our oceans, and those that continue to enter, projects to physically clean the oceans have been developed.
One such projects, The Great Ocean Cleanup, was created by Boyan Slat a 24-year-old young man from Holland, who since he was 18 has raised millions to build a 2,0000 feet tube to clean the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. In October 2018, the first cleaning expedition was launched but it encountered some technical difficulties and it should be relaunched again in the near future.
A Norwegian millionaire, Kiel Inge Rokke, is building the greatest yacht in the world, called the REV, to remove plastics from the oceans. Once the REV is operational, it will be able to collect 5 thousand tons of plastics daily and melt them aboard.
These projects are necessary and important, but they are not the panacea since efforts need to also greatly focus on preventing plastics from entering the oceans in the first place.
Recycling
Recycling plastics is a viable solution that saves energy and natural resources, but it has limitations. As evidence, of all the plastic that has been produced since 1950, 8.3 billion metric tons, only 9% has been recycled. Plastics contrary to aluminum and glass cannot be recycled indefinitely. Each time these are recycled its quality downgrades. Moreover, the process is complex due to all the different types of plastics. It is also expensive. The US and other countries were able to make it cost-effective by exporting it to China.
Yet, since China put limits to the imports of plastics last year (January 2018), now all materials need to be 99.5% pure or they are not accepted, a global crisis ensued. Cities and municipalities from exporting countries such as the USA and UK began accumulating recyclable materials and in many cases these had to be thrown into landfills or incinerated. Other Asian countries like Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam, started accepting these materials, but it has been difficult for them manage the great volume previously handled by China.
In other words, in spite of the fact that many entities are still betting on recycling as the solution, it is not ideal to handle this crisis. Plastics recycling methods can be improved, and this is the approach taken by the new European law, but the best solution is to significantly reduce the use and production of single use plastics.
Reduce, Reuse y Refuse
In the case of plastics, it is better to reduce, reuse and refuse. Each one of us can refuse a straw at a restaurant, choose to reuse our ceramic plates instead of serving dinner in disposable ones, buy products that contain no plastic packaging, go to the organic market, bring our own reusable bags to the supermarket, and more. Individual efforts are very important, and they do make a difference. But the load cannot totally be left to consumers. Companies and governments have to assume their responsibility. It is very difficult for individuals to change their habits if there are no options available.
Businesses and governments need to take a more active role to provide options based on a circular economy model. As long as the economy continues to base itself on a linear model in which we take natural resources, make products and then convert them into waste, society will never escape its plastic overproduction.
A circular economy, on the other hand, facilitates the role of all actors since residues at the end of the cycle are reused and reinjected into the economy.
Will we need to go back to the milkman? Maybe, but what is important is that businesses see this paradigm as an opportunity to innovate or change their business models and in this manner obtain a competitive advantage.  Companies should not wait for legislation to oblige them. Governments in any case will have to legislate to force those that preferred to remain in the status quo and only thought about their profits and not the costs or benefits to society and the environment.
In sum, it is clear that a tripartite alliance is essential to win this battle and that the approval of national legislation and international treaties will be crucial to move all stakeholders in society. The United Kingdom, even with the absence of legislation, is one of the most advanced in this topic and serves as a model to other countries.
In our next article we will analyze the reach and effectiveness of the new plastics law in France and the European Union, plus the recently amended Basel Convention signed by 187 countries to combat illegal plastic waste exports or dumping to developing countries.
This article is the first of a series which analyzes the Invasion of Plastics in Our Environment and Our Lives. These will study the efforts and solutions adopted and suggested by different countries, international organizations, NGOs, businesses, environmentalists, scientists, and other experts.

The Bag in Box Soft Drink Supplier UK You Can Trust | {Smart Soda UK,Ltd}
When it comes to locating a dependable and trustworthy bag in box soft drink supplier in the United Kingdom, there are a few primary considerations that you will want to keep in mind. This post will give you an overview of some of the most important things a potential vendor should have so you can make the best decision for your business.
Bag in box soft drinks were first introduced in the early 1900s and have been around for many decades since then. The application for the first bag-in-box soft drink dispenser patent was submitted in 1907, and the first bag-in-box soft drink to be made available for purchase on a wide scale didn't appear on store shelves until the early 1920s.
Bag-in-box soft drink supplier UK were originally made to be used at soda fountains. Later, they were changed so that they could be drunk at home or at the office. Early bag-in-box soft drink dispensers were simple machines that let the drink fall into a cup or glass on its own.
Tumblr media
In later versions of bag-in-box soft drink dispensers, a pump made it possible to pour the drink at a higher pressure than before. Because of this, it was able to discharge the beverage into a number of different containers, including cans and plastic bottles.
There is a wide selection of flavours available for bag in-box soft drinks. Some of these flavours include grape, root beer, orange, cola, and lemon-lime. Most of the time, the bag in box soft drink supplier UK is made to give out either one or two litres of drink mix, which, when mixed with water, makes the finished drink.
Bag in box soft drink supplier UK have many advantages over soft drinks that come in bottles or cans. These advantages include convenience, cost, and environmental friendliness. They have a longer shelf life, are less expensive to make and deliver, and can be stored for a longer time without going bad. Using bag-in-box packaging for soft drinks also makes it less likely that the drinks will leak or get broken while being shipped.
Bag in box soft drink supplier UK provides a variety of advantages in comparison to canned or bottled beverages in traditional forms. They are easier to travel with and store, and they eliminate the need to open cans or bottles in order to get a drink out of them. This makes them more convenient overall. Furthermore, the price of bag-in-box soft drinks is frequently lower than that of their canned or bottled counterparts.
Bag in box Soft drink supplier UK is a sort of beverage that is sold in bags rather than in cans or bottles like other types of beverages. These alternatives to canned or bottled drinks have a number of advantages over the drinks we are used to. The fact that they take up less space in storage and being able to be moved around more easily is one of their many advantages. Most of the time, bag-in-box soft drink supplier UK prices are cheaper than their canned or bottled counterparts.
In addition, you won't need to open any cans or bottles in order to get a drink from the dispenser. This can be helpful in a number of ways, including the prevention of spills and the saving of time. If you are served a beverage from a can or bottle, there is a possibility that you will spill it, but if you are served a beverage from a bag or box, there is no such risk.
If you are searching for a way to consume soft drinks that is both more convenient and more cost-effective, then you might think about trying bag in box soft drinks. It's possible that you won't believe how much fun you have with them.

Portion control is just another diet that won't work for most - Quartz
Most diets fall into one of two categories—they either claim to unlock a previously misunderstood secret of nutrition science that will lead to effortless weight loss (see: Keto, Atkins); or they promise an innovative way to change your thinking around food that will lead to effortless weight loss (see: Noom, intermittent fasting).
The reality is that although there are certain habits most doctors and nutritionists would encourage for good health—eating more fruits and vegetables, exercising regularly, getting enough sleep—there is no one weight-loss system that works for everyone (and certainly not an “effortless” one). Increasingly, the consensus is that dieting, on the whole, doesn’t work, and that body size is not necessarily a good metric for health.
Despite that, the diet industry—with its books, apps, programs, packaged foods, and supplements—was worth an estimated $66 billion in 2018. The enduring popularity of diets speaks to our deep confusion around body size, health, and food.
Even as I wrote this story in a café, I overhead a woman confidently recommend that her dining companion dust her coffee with cinnamon to “help control your blood sugar.” (There’s no evidence the spice has this effect.) And indeed, so much of modern diet culture is based around this sort of “one weird trick” thinking: Just cut out all carbs, or don’t eat fruit, or practice mindfulness at mealtime, or fast two days a week, and you’ll crack the code of weight loss.
Into this crowded marketplace has come a new weight-loss strategy that has been gaining attention, and doesn’t sound at all like a weird trick or a new fad. In fact, it sounds like something your grandmother would have sworn by to keep her figure: portion control.
Counting calories
As a weight-loss strategy, portion control has obvious appeal—it’s simple and doesn’t rely on new theories of biology. And it feels like common sense: Smaller portions mean fewer calories. But it also reveals just how much about weight loss and nutrition we don’t actually grasp, and how seemingly helpful information, like the portion sizes on food labels, can deepen that confusion.
Instead of drastically limiting the foods you’re “allowed” to eat (like the Whole30, Keto, or Paleo diets), portion control doesn’t usually ban foods. Neither WW nor Noom, weight-loss programs that have participants track and count their intake, tell you precisely what to eat. Instead they set limits on how much, in the form of a number of “points” or calories, you can consume on a daily basis.
In the community that has grown up around WW (a rebrand of the company formerly known as Weight Watchers, with the tagline “Wellness that works”), there are hundreds of articles, blog posts and Pinterest pins dedicated to outlining ways to eat without racking up points. Points aren’t directly equivalent to calories, but the message is clear—the less food you eat, the better.
Of course, that’s not always true. Despite the often-cited maxim that weight loss is as simple as burning more calories than you consume, a growing body of research suggests the that weight loss is far more complex, and that the nutritional information on food labels isn’t as clear cut as it might seem. “The more we probe, the more we realise that tallying calories will do little to help us control our weight or even maintain a healthy diet,” the Economist reported recently. “The beguiling simplicity of counting calories in and calories out is dangerously flawed.”
Calories represent stored energy, and are calculated based on the amount of heat produced when a food is burned. The human digestive system though, involves many more variables than an oven. In the US, it’s legal for calorie counts on packaging to be off by up to 20 percent, the Economist explained. What’s more, even when the count is accurate, different bodies process calories in different ways. “The calorie as a scientific measurement is not in dispute,” the Economist reported. “But calculating the exact calorific content of food is far harder than the confidently precise numbers displayed on food packets suggest.”
Nutritionists who embrace an “intuitive” approach to eating (another growing trend, but one that pointedly eschews food rules and diet products and doesn’t promote or promise weight loss), say that the emphasis on the amount of food we eat—all that weighing of pasta portions, and doling out of tablespoons of hummus—undermines our internal system of satiety and appetite, which should tell us when to eat and when to stop eating.
“It reinforces the messages that we see in diet culture, which is you cannot trust your body to tell you what, when, and how much to eat,” Dr. Laura Thomas, a registered nutritionist in the UK, and author of Just Eat It told me over the phone. “Therefore you need rules, you need restrictions in place. You need these guidelines. And again, it’s undermining that trust that we have in our bodies to self-regulate.”
Portion size matters
The guru of portion control is Dr. Lisa Young, a registered dietitian and adjunct professor of nutrition at New York University whose outrage about growing portion size has become her personal brand.
Young came to prominence as the researcher in the documentary Super Size Me who points out how much larger typical portion sizes have gotten in restaurants over time. In that seminal film, she highlights how the smallest order of fries on the menu at many fast food restaurants used to be the only size available, and points out that the largest soda cups at many convenience stores clock in at a full half-gallon of sugary liquid.
These giant portions warp our perception of how much we should eat, she argues in a new book, Finally Full, Finally Slim. And our actual dinnerware has gotten bigger over time as well, she says. “We get used to these big portions, and plates have gotten bigger,” she said in a phone call. “They’re not the same size as our grandmother’s stuff.”
Young, like many others in nutritional science, is a critic of fad diets. “It’s really not that complicated,” she says of maintaining a healthy diet. “Fads come and go and we want to jump on it. Like whether it’s celery juice, whether it’s kale, whether it’s cauliflower, there’s no miracle diet and there’s no miracle ingredient—period.” She maintains that eating from smaller plates—using a salad plate or pulling your grandparents’ china out of the cabinet—and filling it half full of vegetables is a solid starting place for a healthy diet, and potentially for weight loss as well.
“Portion control is a lifestyle issue,” she said. “And it doesn’t mean you have to eat tiny portions.”
Thomas agreed that super-sized restaurant meals have the power to distort our thinking around how much food we need. But the portion control movement is just more of the same, she argues. Both interfere with our internal cues about how much we need to eat, which may fluctuate on a daily basis. And portion control’s sharp focus on the amount of food being consumed, Thomas added, could contribute to disordered eating patterns.
The problem with food labels
A central, and problematic, aspect of portion control is the nutrition labels on packaged food. As it becomes increasingly clear that individual bodies use calories in different ways, it’s also becoming clear that the food labels we rely upon to tell us how many calories we’re eating are far from the precise measure we have assumed they are. The Economist found that calorie counts on labels were off by an average of 8 percent, and that frozen foods can understate calorie content by up to 70 percent.
The way portion sizes are calculated for labels is also impossibly confusing. In 2018, the US Food and Drug Administration unveiled new food labeling requirements, including updated (larger) portion sizes. Many consumers believe these portions to be suggested serving sizes, which they are not. As the FDA explains:
By law, serving sizes must be based on amounts of foods and beverages that people are actually eating, not what they should be eating. How much people eat and drink has changed since the previous serving size requirements were published in 1993. For example, the reference amount used to set a serving of ice cream was previously 1/2 cup but is changing to 2/3 cup. The reference amount used to set a serving of soda is changing from 8 ounces to 12 ounces.
Young argues that the serving sizes on labels are problematic because they suggest that the government is saying that these foods, in these amounts are healthy—that 12 ounces of soda is a good choice because it’s the proper amount of soda. “People think it’s what the government is recommending,” Young says. She also notes that because those servings are based on self-reported surveys, they’re not accurate: “People don’t have two-thirds of a cup of ice cream. They have more like a cup-and-a-half.”
All this emphasis on the measurements echoes diet culture’s insistence that your body cannot be trusted, that you must rely on an external authority when it comes to how much food to consume. A label doesn’t know that you’re extra hungry because you missed lunch, or that a spoonful of ice cream standing by the freezer is all that you crave, not a whole scoop. And even if it’s not the intent, most consumers read portion sizes on nutrition labels as an indication that unless you’re eating that specific amount, you’re doing it wrong.
A way to deflect blame
Another problem with portion control is the movement can be co-opted to deflect the pressure on food companies to mass-produce healthier foods.
The National Consumer League is leading a campaign to emphasize portion size in the next set of dietary guidelines, which the US Department of Agriculture adjusts every five years and is slated for an update in 2020. In February the NCL sent a letter to the USDA, co-signed by several of big food’s industry groups—the American Frozen Food Institute, American Beverage Association, Grocery Manufacturers Association, National Confectioners Association, Sugar Association, and the Sustainable Food Policy Alliance. “One promising, and we think underutilized, strategy for tackling the obesity epidemic is helping consumers understand and implement appropriate portion control,” it wrote.
This message is problematic for eaters, both Thomas and Young agree, because it says that it’s how much food we eat, not the types of foods we choose, that have the greatest impact on our health. Young noted that placing responsibility, in the form of portion size, onto the consumer makes it seem like all foods are equally nutritious so long as we eat the “right” amount. She said that just because a snack comes in a small portion, like a 100-calorie package of chips, that doesn’t mean it’s a good choice nutritionally speaking.
By the same token, it may be perfectly fine to eat more than one portion of a food, depending on what that food is and your nutritional needs. “A portion size depends on your hunger and satiety cues,” says Thomas. “It doesn’t depend on these arbitrary labels.” She gave the example of a client who found herself confronted with a tub of hummus with a label saying it contained four servings. “She ate half the tub of hummus and she ended up feeling really guilty,” Thomas says. “She was basically self flagellating about eating half of a pot of hummus—and it’s fucking crushed chickpeas!”
Most of us spend our days surrounded by food we don’t actually need for survival, and spend our lives in bodies that look different than what has been held up as ideal. Portion control pits us against ourselves by making external rules—plate size, numbers on a label—the arbiter of our appetites rather than our actual hunger. It also denies that humans sometimes eat for reasons that have nothing to do with fueling our bodies, that pleasure is a legitimate thing to expect from food.
A healthy relationship with food, Thomas says, requires a person to “understand what your body is asking for and respond to that… Both in terms of your hunger and fullness levels, but also things like pleasure and satisfaction.” There’s no easy way to measure that.

Why Capitalism Creates Pointless Jobs
It’s as if someone were out there making up pointless jobs just for the sake of keeping us all working.
By David Graeber
In the year 1930, John Maynard Keynes predicted that technology would have advanced sufficiently by century’s end that countries like Great Britain or the United States would achieve a 15-hour work week. There’s every reason to believe he was right. In technological terms, we are quite capable of this. And yet it didn’t happen. Instead, technology has been marshaled, if anything, to figure out ways to make us all work more. In order to achieve this, jobs have had to be created that are, effectively, pointless. Huge swathes of people, in Europe and North America in particular, spend their entire working lives performing tasks they secretly believe do not really need to be performed. The moral and spiritual damage that comes from this situation is profound. It is a scar across our collective soul. Yet virtually no one talks about it.
Why did Keynes’ promised utopia – still being eagerly awaited in the ‘60s – never materialise? The standard line today is that he didn’t figure in the massive increase in consumerism. Given the choice between less hours and more toys and pleasures, we’ve collectively chosen the latter. This presents a nice morality tale, but even a moment’s reflection shows it can’t really be true. Yes, we have witnessed the creation of an endless variety of new jobs and industries since the ‘20s, but very few have anything to do with the production and distribution of sushi, iPhones, or fancy sneakers.
So what are these new jobs, precisely? A recent report comparing employment in the US between 1910 and 2000 gives us a clear picture (and I note, one pretty much exactly echoed in the UK). Over the course of the last century, the number of workers employed as domestic servants, in industry, and in the farm sector has collapsed dramatically. At the same time, “professional, managerial, clerical, sales, and service workers” tripled, growing “from one-quarter to three-quarters of total employment.” In other words, productive jobs have, just as predicted, been largely automated away (even if you count industrial workers globally, including the toiling masses in India and China, such workers are still not nearly so large a percentage of the world population as they used to be).
But rather than allowing a massive reduction of working hours to free the world’s population to pursue their own projects, pleasures, visions, and ideas, we have seen the ballooning not even so much of the “service” sector as of the administrative sector, up to and including the creation of whole new industries like financial services or telemarketing, or the unprecedented expansion of sectors like corporate law, academic and health administration, human resources, and public relations. And these numbers do not even reflect on all those people whose job is to provide administrative, technical, or security support for these industries, or for that matter the whole host of ancillary industries (dog-washers, all-night pizza deliverymen) that only exist because everyone else is spending so much of their time working in all the other ones.
These are what I propose to call “bullshit jobs.”
It’s as if someone were out there making up pointless jobs just for the sake of keeping us all working. And here, precisely, lies the mystery. In capitalism, this is exactly what is not supposed to happen. Sure, in the old inefficient socialist states like the Soviet Union, where employment was considered both a right and a sacred duty, the system made up as many jobs as they had to (this is why in Soviet department stores it took three clerks to sell a piece of meat). But, of course, this is the very sort of problem market competition is supposed to fix. According to economic theory, at least, the last thing a profit-seeking firm is going to do is shell out money to workers they don’t really need to employ. Still, somehow, it happens.
While corporations may engage in ruthless downsizing, the layoffs and speed-ups invariably fall on that class of people who are actually making, moving, fixing and maintaining things; through some strange alchemy no one can quite explain, the number of salaried paper-pushers ultimately seems to expand, and more and more employees find themselves, not unlike Soviet workers actually, working 40 or even 50 hour weeks on paper, but effectively working 15 hours just as Keynes predicted, since the rest of their time is spent organising or attending motivational seminars, updating their facebook profiles or downloading TV box-sets.
The answer clearly isn’t economic: it’s moral and political. The ruling class has figured out that a happy and productive population with free time on their hands is a mortal danger (think of what started to happen when this even began to be approximated in the ‘60s). And, on the other hand, the feeling that work is a moral value in itself, and that anyone not willing to submit themselves to some kind of intense work discipline for most of their waking hours deserves nothing, is extraordinarily convenient for them.
Once, when contemplating the apparently endless growth of administrative responsibilities in British academic departments, I came up with one possible vision of hell. Hell is a collection of individuals who are spending the bulk of their time working on a task they don’t like and are not especially good at. Say they were hired because they were excellent cabinet-makers, and then discover they are expected to spend a great deal of their time frying fish. Neither does the task really need to be done – at least, there’s only a very limited number of fish that need to be fried. Yet somehow, they all become so obsessed with resentment at the thought that some of their co-workers might be spending more time making cabinets, and not doing their fair share of the fish-frying responsibilities, that before long there’s endless piles of useless badly cooked fish piling up all over the workshop and it’s all that anyone really does.
I think this is actually a pretty accurate description of the moral dynamics of our own economy.
*
Now, I realise any such argument is going to run into immediate objections: “who are you to say what jobs are really ‘necessary’? What’s necessary anyway? You’re an anthropology professor, what’s the ‘need’ for that?” (And indeed a lot of tabloid readers would take the existence of my job as the very definition of wasteful social expenditure.) And on one level, this is obviously true. There can be no objective measure of social value.
I would not presume to tell someone who is convinced they are making a meaningful contribution to the world that, really, they are not. But what about those people who are themselves convinced their jobs are meaningless? Not long ago I got back in touch with a school friend who I hadn’t seen since I was 12. I was amazed to discover that in the interim, he had become first a poet, then the front man in an indie rock band. I’d heard some of his songs on the radio having no idea the singer was someone I actually knew. He was obviously brilliant, innovative, and his work had unquestionably brightened and improved the lives of people all over the world. Yet, after a couple of unsuccessful albums, he’d lost his contract, and plagued with debts and a newborn daughter, ended up, as he put it, “taking the default choice of so many directionless folk: law school.” Now he’s a corporate lawyer working in a prominent New York firm. He was the first to admit that his job was utterly meaningless, contributed nothing to the world, and, in his own estimation, should not really exist.
There’s a lot of questions one could ask here, starting with, what does it say about our society that it seems to generate an extremely limited demand for talented poet-musicians, but an apparently infinite demand for specialists in corporate law? (Answer: if 1% of the population controls most of the disposable wealth, what we call “the market” reflects what they think is useful or important, not anybody else.) But even more, it shows that most people in these jobs are ultimately aware of it. In fact, I’m not sure I’ve ever met a corporate lawyer who didn’t think their job was bullshit. The same goes for almost all the new industries outlined above. There is a whole class of salaried professionals that, should you meet them at parties and admit that you do something that might be considered interesting (an anthropologist, for example), will want to avoid even discussing their line of work entirely. Give them a few drinks, and they will launch into tirades about how pointless and stupid their job really is.
This is a profound psychological violence here. How can one even begin to speak of dignity in labour when one secretly feels one’s job should not exist? How can it not create a sense of deep rage and resentment. Yet it is the peculiar genius of our society that its rulers have figured out a way, as in the case of the fish-fryers, to ensure that rage is directed precisely against those who actually do get to do meaningful work. For instance: in our society, there seems a general rule that, the more obviously one’s work benefits other people, the less one is likely to be paid for it.  Again, an objective measure is hard to find, but one easy way to get a sense is to ask: what would happen were this entire class of people to simply disappear? Say what you like about nurses, garbage collectors, or mechanics, it’s obvious that were they to vanish in a puff of smoke, the results would be immediate and catastrophic. A world without teachers or dock-workers would soon be in trouble, and even one without science fiction writers or ska musicians would clearly be a lesser place. It’s not entirely clear how humanity would suffer were all private equity CEOs, lobbyists, PR researchers, actuaries, telemarketers, bailiffs or legal consultants to similarly vanish. (Many suspect it might markedly improve.) Yet apart from a handful of well-touted exceptions (doctors), the rule holds surprisingly well.
Even more perverse, there seems to be a broad sense that this is the way things should be. This is one of the secret strengths of right-wing populism. You can see it when tabloids whip up resentment against tube workers for paralysing London during contract disputes: the very fact that tube workers can paralyse London shows that their work is actually necessary, but this seems to be precisely what annoys people. It’s even clearer in the US, where Republicans have had remarkable success mobilizing resentment against school teachers, or auto workers (and not, significantly, against the school administrators or auto industry managers who actually cause the problems) for their supposedly bloated wages and benefits. It’s as if they are being told “but you get to teach children! Or make cars! You get to have real jobs! And on top of that you have the nerve to also expect middle-class pensions and health care?”
If someone had designed a work regime perfectly suited to maintaining the power of finance capital, it’s hard to see how they could have done a better job. Real, productive workers are relentlessly squeezed and exploited. The remainder are divided between a terrorised stratum of the – universally reviled – unemployed and a larger stratum who are basically paid to do nothing, in positions designed to make them identify with the perspectives and sensibilities of the ruling class (managers, administrators, etc) – and particularly its financial avatars – but, at the same time, foster a simmering resentment against anyone whose work has clear and undeniable social value. Clearly, the system was never consciously designed. It emerged from almost a century of trial and error. But it is the only explanation for why, despite our technological capacities, we are not all working 3-4 hour days.

What Coinadrink Limited is doing to help keep your vending machine operational.
We understand that this is a strange and concerning time for everyone. Whatever your plans are as you debate heading back to the workplace, the health, safety and hygiene of your team must come first.
Coinadrink want to help provide the peace of mind you need. We have already emphasised that a vending machine is a safe entity for the provision of food and drink, but we are taking things even further with physical and technological measures we have in place to assist.
This will ensure you can continue experiencing the benefits of vending and workplace refreshments in the safest way possible.
Social distancing with your vending machine.
There is a good chance that any business heading back to the workplace will be doing so under unusual conditions and requirements. Social distancing will need to be in place where possible.
Coinadrink is helping to encourage 2m distance amongst colleagues with our social distance packs. These consist of floor tape and stickers. Customers are able to receive one pack free per vending machine, whilst any additional packs required can be purchased over on our online store for a small fee.
If you’re a customer and you haven’t yet received your social distancing pack, contact us on 0800 626 191.
Free vending machine relocations.
In order to comply with social distancing guidelines, Coinadrink is happy to move your vending machine or equipment to an alternative location for free as long as it is on the same premises.
If you’re struggling to decide where best to move your machine to, we can help you map out your workspace to determine the ideal location. This will enable staff to continue using the machine as safely as possible.
Move to disposable coffee cups.
We often promote the convenience of being able to use your own mug or cup with modern day hot drinks machines, but are you cleaning it correctly?
For added peace of mind, we recommend using the disposable cup that your hot drink comes in by default. Disposable cups are stored safely in the vending machine and receive very little contact points prior to being stocked.
This guarantees that they are clean and safe to use. They can then be recycled afterwards.
Contactless payment units.
Many of our customers have requested that they now wish to use contactless payments on their vending machine. This removes the risk of coming into contact with germs that can linger on coins and notes.
Coinadrink uses Nayax for all our cashless payment solutions. In addition to the usual contactless payment options including card and mobile, we can now incorporate the Nayax “Monyx” application onto our equipment. This allows the customer to upload funds to a virtual wallet.
The use of styluses with your vending machine.
You face no more risk of contamination using a vending machine than you would using any other workplace facility, but we appreciate customers want as much reassurance as possible.
Customers can now request styluses which can be used to input your selection choice, such as a desired hot drink. If the customer chooses a contactless payment solution, using a stylus means the only time they have to interact with the machine itself is to collect the beverage or item from the dispense area.
As well as introducing new technology and services, we also offer a hygienic range of both existing and new equipment that customers are able to enjoy today.
PPE vending machines.
For those of you who need to take extra precautions when in the workplace, we now supply PPE vending machines. These are initially robust, reliable and spacious snack machines that ca be adapted to stock the products you require. These include goggles, face masks and hand sanitiser.
A vending machine has been proven to be a safe, secure way to offer life-saving PPE. They are sturdy enough to be placed almost anywhere, including public environments, and the innovative stock control system makes it easy to see who is and who isn’t wearing PPE. This also minimises waste.
The Micro Market.
Through Express Refreshments, we were the first company to introduce the Micro Market to UK shores in 2013. The Micro Market is so advanced and carries so many benefits that it is easy to underappreciate the hygienic aspect.
The Micro Market is a self-service convenience store that offers a variety of refreshments in an open-plan design. It is a fantastic and cost-effective alternative to a canteen or contract catering.
The open-plan design makes it easy to social distance with colleagues, whilst the fact that it is open 24 hours a day means you can stagger your break times to reduce the amount of people using the market at the same time. Minimal contact points also include a cashless payment terminal.
Contactless, self-sanitising water coolers.
Our new contactless, self-sanitising water coolers take our hygiene efforts even further. Advanced technology fitted to these coolers is invisible to the user but will sanitise your cooler automatically as part of a custom schedule you can set yourself. These coolers are also contactless, so you never have to interact with the equipment directly. Just place your cup or bottle against the lever.
Distance Select coffee machines.
Specific coffee machines from our Coffetek supplier now offer a contactless dispense thanks to Distance Select technology.
Distance Select builds on the safety the user can expect when using their vending machine or coffee machine. The user simply “hovers” their finger over the desired icon to select their drink, meaning you don’t have to directly interact with the equipment.
This technology is now available on the majority of Vitro coffee machines and the Neo hot drinks machine. It can also be retrofitted to Vitro’s and Neo’s manufactured in the past three years.
Signing off with a reminder about the safety of a vending machine.
Vending machines are a safe entity for the provision of food and drink to your workforce and customers. We really cannot emphasise this enough.
It is a simple and easy to control food delivery system where the items are only handled by the operator who loads them into the machine. Hot drinks ingredients and the cups that go into our machines are in sealed packages. The only time they come into contact with anyone once they leave the manufacturer is when our operators load them into your machine.
As previously mentioned in this article, your staff face no more risk using a vending machine than they would using other common facilities.
Backed up by Coinadrink’s industry-leading hygiene standards.
Coinadrink Limited is a vending supplier you can trust. We go the extra mile for your peace of mind and break the boundaries of what is possible to deliver an enhanced vending experience.
This includes being one of the first UK companies to be ISO 45001 accredited for occupational health and safety, before going on to being the only UK vending company to sanitise all contact parts of your hot drinks machine on our premises without causing any downtime to the user.
You can read more about our hygiene standards here.
Prefer to use a kettle for your hot drinks? Think again…
The kettle is an archaic refreshment solution that is unable to provide the necessary level of reassurance in times like this. Using a kettle for your hot drinks has too many touch points to make it a safe, viable option.
It’s obvious when you think about. Just how many amenities do you come into contact with when making your own hot drink? You touch the kettle, the milk, the sugar, the tea bag, cupboards, the fridge, the tap and that is without the washing up at the end.
Using the kettle is also slow. Very slow. It can take between 2 and 3 minutes to make a drink using the kettle, which will inevitably cause social distancing issues during break times when lots of staff want a hot drink.
A vending machine on the other hand removes all these risks. With a very limited number of touch points, it takes between 15 and 40 seconds to make your hot drink.
Keep this information at hand.
A vending machine is a great way to keep your workforce refreshed. They are clean, safe and simple to use. You can now download this information as a handy PDF to keep with you. If you want to contact us about our services and how they can help your business now and beyond COVID-19, you can contact us and we’d be happy to have a no obligation chat about your requirements.
