yeah we all love the date everything! player being a normie or player being scene or player being emo goth whatever but gyaru player. Gyaru player who probably has so much glitz and glam in their closet. Gyaru player who owns like fifteen different pairs of leg and arm warmers and so many statement pieces aligning to their specific vein of fashion that it could make dirk CRY. Gyaru player who owns so much product that when they hit up barry styles out of curiosity barry is IMMEDIATELY freaking out happily and helping them elevate their existing look even further because i feel like hes not used to somebody being so invested in this sort of art. HELP jkfdsfjdskl 😭 idol AU's always a classic and I too have been hit with the brainworms before... I actually have too many AUs to count (many in the basement rn) but UHHH have a tiiiny sneak peek into my thoughts for idol AU jamimayu:

Jamil and Mayu were long time friends/childhood friends before he became an idol, she was already quite familiar with his passion for singing & dancing

His talent got scouted one day and he wasn't entirely sure about taking up the offer, but Mayu encouraged him to go for it, it was a once in a lifetime opportunity after all

Fast forward several years and he's now successful and widely loved by fans across the world, his family and friends are very proud of him

The one downside is he hardly has time to see Mayu anymore, he's always either too busy or somewhere else across the globe for tour

Even when he does want to spend time with his friend, he has to go out of his way to hide his tracks for both his own and her safety

Sometimes he wonders whether this really was the right decision, but quitting right now isn't really an option - he's signed a contract, plus his family also needs him to keep his career

Mayu on the other hand has ancient merch of his from his debut days that he gave her (worth quite a lot now, but she keeps them all safely stored away), but to most people she pretends she doesn't know him personally whatsoever, totally just an old fan from early days

Jamil also either never mentions her existence in interviews (for obvious reasons) or is very very vague about it, phrased in a way that only he and people who know would know

She attends whatever concerts she can to support him, but she also has her own life to attend to and can't make it to all of them

Nevertheless, his eyes search for her in the crowd out of habit sometimes

And if you're really clever, you might pick up very specific references in songs he wrote lyrics for...

He mumbles, lips pressed to the corner of your eyes. "missed your lovely personality," He whispers into your neck, biting you gently as you squirm in his grasp. "and missed the feeling of your skin on mine..." He sighs, unbuttoning his vest as he slides it off. "Still alright with it? Aren't you tired from the trip?"

"Are you going to leave me high and dry?" You bat your lashes at him, and he sighs.

"Alright. If that's what you want, love."

Sometimes I feel like maybe I’m being too hard on Bruce because he’s a grieving father and you don’t judge people for how they get by when the dead usually stay dead, but then I remember that the Waynes are the closest thing Gotham (maybe even the whole of America in the DC universe) has to royalty and Batman claimed the city for himself, so when Bruce turns abandons the responsibility he himself took on for getting Jason justice, it’s not a just a dead body he turns his back on, he’s betraying a member of the people he claimed. A citizen he was supposed to serve.

yall are missing an obvious trope we should be taking advantage of as nerds who enjoy fanfiction. Everyone loves the cafe or flower shop au, but where's my card/comic/nerd shop au?!

especially you gravity falls fans! Fiddleford and Stanford are both nerds, no matter who you ship them with they could both work at or be receiving a gift from the local nerd store.

Stanley is getting Ford a nerd present but doesnt know what to get him so Fidds helps him and they fall in love whoops.

Stanford needs stuff for his next DD&MD campaign and finds out woah! his roommate works at the nerd shop! he knew he was smart but he didnt know he was a geek too! he needs to smooch him about it!

OOC as shit human Bill walks into the nerd shop to look for reference for a nerd tattoo someone wants to commission him for (classic tattoo shop au crossover!) and falls for the nerdy guy at the counter, Stanford, by accident.
