Apparently the only thing I needed to do in order to actually have some sort of notifications on social media/regular new followers was just to be political on main.

But also. You know. Nice.

Because that's also very important.

And also just using tags on every post even if they're not actual tags.

(I'm relatively new to being a blip on the map at all so this is genuinely entertaining for me. I used to not get comments at all. Now I'm getting HATE comments??? I'm that important to you??? How sweet☺️☺️☺️)

Seriously though. This is amazing. What started out as a place just to post my thoughts and throw them out into the void became something so much bigger than I could have ever imagined. Even if it is just because of my political posts, it's lead me to meeting so many new and wonderful people, having awesome intelligent conversations, and also learning about so many different point of views that have helped me in fixing my tendencies towards black and white thinking due to my autism. And I couldn't be more grateful.

Not to say I'm anywhere near famous. No. But I am noticed. And that's nice. It's good to be able to drop by and find other people who have found me just passing through. Even if it's just through likes or reblogs.

I like to think that I've grown as a person because of this experience. And my only hope is that y'all continue to grow as people as well. Because that's what we do. What we're made for. And I couldn't be prouder of the people that I have had the joy of meeting through this little blog of mine.

as for your question, I unfortunately find it hard to make time to sit down and read a lot nowadays, so I sadly have not been able to read a lot. I do hope to change that soon, but in the meantime, here's a short list of some that I've started/very much plan to read!

The Whole Being Dead Thing: by @milfhandholder - I was first introduced to it when Maia took inspiration from a reaper training fanart I did and showed me her fic, and I was really thrilled. the rest of the fic is amazing so far, I absolutely love looking at other people's interpretations of the reapers realm and how the facility works, and this is a stellar example. basically, world building💯 and the characters are cool.

Black and Baby Blue: by @blackbutler-sideblog - I unfortunately only got to read the teaser/prologue/first chapter(?) so far, but I love the concept so far and really look forward to cracking it. basically, its dadbastian, him having to raise a young o!ciel. and it looks like it will be very sweet and heavy:>

Ludo: by @pain-in-the-butler - same author as Coattails, so you'll like it. it was written during Bard's arc if I recall(it feels like so long ago), it's one of my favorite one shots. so if you feel like you don't see enough of Bardad and his relationship with o!ciel, go ahead.

The Story of Grelle the Reaper: by @eemoo1o-animoo - I also have not gotten the chance to read all of it, but I know I started it a little while ago and I remember really liking the writing(as someone who loves atmosphere and detail). it's a take I've never seen before on Grelle's backstory, and I'm here to see where it goes.

Vigil: by @house0fsugar - I'm incredibly happy they showed me this fic cause oh my god, I don't think I've ever felt so dreadful for the reapers. it's a beautiful story of the reaper gang going back to their graves.... what more can I say. I don't think I've ever loved the group dynamic more. the character building, 💯

Bloom: by @shinigami-dispatch-association - of course I have to mention the fanfic that is directly inspired by the reaper training artwork I mentioned above(its this), now only am I incredibly honored, but I think this fic took every idea I had and made it into exactly what I thought it would be. a wonderful imaginative piece, I hope to reread it soon.

The Little Lost Star: by @grelleswife wrote a while ago, but it was like, the first fanart I every posted here, so ofc I remember it still. it's the sweetest. there are so many other good fics of hers that I haven’t gotten around to yet ugh.

I can totally understand that you would be nervous to meet anyone famous. Famous people usually did amazing things, which made them well known. But they are still people. Being famous is just a social construct. So I think in the end they are not that different from other people. They just did things that were special. Not trying to be rude or anything, just a thought. Of course they are very cool for all the things they did. 😊

And I like your choice too. If I could meet Franz Marc I would also liked to let him know that people respect his artworks now, and that they are worth a lot of money. I've read a book about him. When he had his first artworks publicly displayed people spit at his paintings and told him this was not art. That must have been very hard for him.

And it was not just him a lot of painter were treated badly while they were alive and now their artworks are worth millions. I just hope they know, that their art gets the respect they deserve now. Same goes for scientist who's ideas weren't believed in their time.

... And half of the people who work there were scared to go near her because she bit everyone who came near her. 😅 She gets very angry when someone tries to pick her up. 😅

Wow, I could never even imagine doing something so cruel to something a person put their heart and passion into 😢 People can be so cruel sometimes 😞 It's a noble wish to want to meet and inform him of the love his art gets now ☺️

Yes, I definitely agree. I feel like artists bring so much joy to everyone's lives through whichever creative mediums they use (music, painting etc) but they rarely get the recognition or gratefulness for it - especially in the past. And gosh, don't even get me started on how many women used to get their scientific achievements cast aside or had the credit given to men instead - it's infuriating 😖

Oh I'm so glad that Mimi is making positive progress 🥺💕 She must be a very tough little gal! I admit, I had a little giggle at the thought of a little bunny terrorising an entire vet clinic 😅 At least if she's being cheeky like that then it means she's probably feeling at least a little better ☺️ I'm glad she's home now and I'll continue to keep my fingers crossed for a full recovery for the little bun soon! Please pass on some pets and snuggles to her for me 💕 And I know how distressing it can be to have one of your pets be unwell so I think it's important to make sure you (and her) are coping okay ❤️ if she's important to you, then she is to me too ☺️

Oh gosh ummm well ideally I'd like to have figured out what I want to do with my career and either have a good job I like or be studying what I like. I also very much dream of meeting and marrying the love of my life, whoever they may end up being, and maybe having kids and definitely pets. Overall, I just want to be living a quiet, comfortable life, surrounded by warm and loving family and friends. I unfortunately still do struggle a lot with my mental health a lot so sometimes I struggle to see myself having any future at all. But I'm working on it and being surrounded by all the wonderful people (like you) that I am definitely helps ☺️
