𝘗𝘙𝘖𝘔𝘗𝘛: 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘴𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘫𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘺𝘶𝘢𝘯
g/n reader
: both jing yuan and reader are young children here, jing yuan is pining (ineffectively) at the reader
: approximately 465 words (chat gpt said so)
Jing Yuan is late again. At this point, it is a familiar routine: he'd run in with sweat beading up at his forehead- Jingliu would throw a faded hankie at his face, urging him to wipe it off with a glance before nagging at him- "what's your reason this time?" "Did you oversleep?" "Did you go to eat your breakfast at Mr Zhang's store again? The queue is too long there. Go eat at the canteen instead- you children are too whiny about soldier rations."
The truth is, Jing yuan never oversleeps and he always skips breakfast. It isn't a military regime he put himself on at all, no. If Jingliu knew that the brat in front of him was skipping breakfast, she would order the senior guards to eat breakfast with him. He would have to suffer from indigestion for the next few weeks (the senior guards adores picking on the apple-cheeked boy) until Jingliu is finally convinced that the brat will listen.
.
But he won't ever listen because Jing Yuan has a long route to take that he can't afford to miss. Your route. Well, not your route. It's the route through Cloudford. For context: where Jingliu expects him to be at every dawn is miles away. But this lovesick boy remains stubborn, he travels the route to Cloudford with a boyish grin- a blush would bundle up at his round cheeks when he spots you in your familiar attire, your uniform stained with food crumbs from your rush.
"[Name]! Wait up!" And when you do stop, a pretty sight is granted to you- perhaps a morning call from the Eons? There's no way anyone can remain nonchalant and sleepy at the sight of this messy haired, toothpaste decorated face, "Are you heading to class? I heard that your Master brought over some swords he specifically commissioned from the Artisanship Commission! I saw! Let me spoil you in a bit of the fun- one of them is fully jaded, and another-"
He definitely rushed to see you.
"Shouldn't you be going to yours? Miss Jingliu would kill you if she knew that you're all the way at Cloudford right now, Jing Yuan."
His eyes crinkled from the widening of his smile at the call of his name, "She'll survive! Let me walk you there-"
"Jing Yuan. Your cloud knight training?"
Oh eons, did you not hear his plead this morning? Jing Yuan turned slowly, adjusting his attire- trying not to slouch in fear. Getting scolded in front of the other Cloud knights is not as embarrassing and as tear-jerking as it is in front of you. Not to mention, his master knows all the grimy details under his sleeves.
And there she was, in her glory- her sharp eyes piercing his through one strike. He bends over immediately, face apologetic- catching glimpse of your smiling face, clearly amused by the scene taking place in front of you.
"You have toothpaste on your face, boy," Jing Yuan's face flushed red at the newly learned information. Ah crap, did you see that? He glances at your face briefly- yeah, you definitely did. Curse his heart- he was so excited to talk to you he stumbled at basic cleanliness.
"I think it makes him cute, you shouldn't have told him, Miss Jingliu," You hum. You are one of the few unaffected by the intimidation his master poses- your frequent rendezvous with Jing Yuan hyper-exposed you to Jingliu's more reasonable sides.
"[Name], go to class. Your master is waiting for you," Jingliu turns to him, and he immediately regrets not shifting his gaze down at his feet earlier," As for you," she waits for you to go, "Confess soon. I don't want to keep chastising you on your... inconvenient hobbies."
A smile blooms at his face at that.
"Yes Master! Duly noted!"

Semblance of Venetian Mirror Caused By Silver Thrown On Water
Dan Feng x reader, somewhat sweet.
Tumblr media
Hearty and carefree laughs filled the empty spaces of the night air, distinct chatter and voices—clink of porcelain against porcelain. An occasional cuss when a drink was spilled, followed by a splash of liquid against the warm ground. A whine—a cackle, a complaint dispelled by a shove.
The rustling of company was distinct, soft as it carried through the air to you. Concealed by a tree, you looked at your blade, the faint moonlight allowing you to see the edges of your expression. Neutral and uncaring all the same, as it was years ago—as it was what made the receptors pick you.
Then, an unnatural beat of silence, the group of five lingering in nothing but the buzz of night for a brief moment, and so you put your knife underneath your belt again.
“My shadow—“ a snicker, something so unnatural and uncannily carefree. His voice was soft, speech slurred. “Come join us, surely you must… be lonely there?”
Spark of irritation ignited in you, a sigh leaving your lips like steam from a stove, and you pushed off the dark bark. With a step you turned around, moving over towards the commotion.
The five sat on a blanket underneath the dark sky, the material all but straight—folded at the edges from their movement and their joy, a basket opened with its guts all spread out upon the blue sheet.
Snacks and food were half finished, the most important part of their night course being the alcohol—on a wooden board for stability, safe from the uneven ground and the tricky grass. Yet some of it was spilled anyway.
The shadow of the tree slowly slipped off you, revealing your face like a lover’s body in the late morning, yet your eyes were as cold as a gravestone—unfeeling, long gone, concealing whatever may hide under the thick soil.
Your robes were dark, not prolonged and pronounced as your High Elder’s—instead, they were made to be easy, not draw attention. To remain hidden, to be concealed, to keep the world unaware of your presence.
Yet not this time.
Their eyes rested upon you soon after, but there was only one person whom you looked at—his turquoise eyes on you similarly as he sat at an angle. One knee was pulled to his chest, arm resting on it as his hand supported his chin. The other held a cup, worryingly tilted, as if the alcohol could spill any second.
”High Elder, I do not believe the receptors will be pleased to hear this.”
Dan Feng’s mouth twitched a little, into the softest smirk. He looked bright as the moon, with a quality of cold glow. Yet the demeanor was different.
”The night is still young—is it not?”
”It is past midnight.”
His expression fell into a pitiful frown, and the Foxian lady next to him wrapped her arm around his shoulder, pulling him along. Her other arm was around Yingxing’s muscular frame, and she held them, swaying side to side.
The smith grumbled, yet did not resist, and neither did Dan Feng, head hanging low.
“Rivers aren’t the same day by day—“ her soft voice broke with a hic. “We can have fun sometime else I say!”
The poetic streak caused Dan Feng to hum, looking to her for a moment to carry on the dialogue. He didn’t want to go back yet—not from here, where he could be himself, and not a High Elder. Where he could be seen, not regarded.
”As evening comes and… and the moon shines down, all that’s left is to..” he trailed off, his brows furrowed in concentration. Dan Feng’s mouth opened, but your tongue cut in, a sharp shard into flesh.
”—Say goodbye. Come, now.”
The grass bent under your heavy boot as you finally stepped close enough, reaching your hand out to the Vidyadhara. It seemed the rest felt too awkward to defend their friend, Jing Yuan’s gaze averted to something on the blanket. And then Jingliu, who mumbled to herself while staring at her cup, red eyes narrowed in a feeling which seemed quite immaterial.
Dan Feng whined, his eyes meeting yours pitifully, looking up at you. You curled your fingers twice, gesturing for him to finally get it together—and so he relented, taking your hand.
Of course he didn’t make your job easier—he never did, as a petulant child, a stubborn kid wanting to put their foot down, wavering at authority.
How pathetic, he was the High Elder.
With a strong grip on his hand you pulled him to his feet and he stumbled, nearly knocking at the bottle with his shoe. Baiheng let out a squeak, grabbing onto it to salvage it—slipping forward, her hand missing the goal as she ended up falling over.
Spread out on the blanket, she snickered at her predicament.
The Vidyadhara looked back, a hiss leaving when he felt his body pulled forth—your grip on his friend was unrelenting, but he waved to his friends anyway, like a dog wagging his tail from happiness or excitement. Then again in this context from the positivity he experienced, not which he was yet to feel.
You looked ahead, not bothering to think back—the destination wasn’t far, but if not you, Dan Feng would probably forget himself again, and then cause issues for you once more.
Because while he was the High Elder, you were his shadow, and the receptors would have your head for his inability to perform his tasks in the morning.
Dan Feng didn’t complain, not at all, walking with weak legs after you—occasionally swaying. He never fought, and you were that much grateful for any compliance. Yet as the gates were approached, and the hallways showed into sight, his pace was coming to a gradual slow—each step more prolonged and dragged out than the other.
He kept his head down, the light from the inside bothersome. And then he stopped entirely, moments before the doors to his chambers would come into view. His tail flicked a few times, subtle unease—or irritation.
Your steps halted as well, not from your own willingness, rather from sudden resistance. With the softest of frowns you looked behind your shoulder, to then turn around fully.
His hand slipped from yours, sluggishly, and his arms crossed over his chest as he leaned against the wall with his side. Dan Feng’s face was tilted.
“What’s the point?” The High Elder mused out into space. His voice carried a soft waver, and underlying current thumming beneath the cold hard ground—so physical and palpable you could drink it from his glowing eyes.
Your being was unwavering as it was before, just as his was during the day. “The point of what, High Elder?”
Something about your speech seemed to hurt—as a prick of broken glass in his finger when he leaned into a window to see the outside, and his expression was similarly pained, accompanied by a whine, the softest sound and tune you could’ve missed.
“Everything…” he sighed, eyelids falling shut as he tilted his head back for the moment. As you tried to take his hand again, he withdrew it, hiding it beneath his arm. “Why are we here? Just… to suffer. Just to suffer.”
Oh.
Your brow raised, hand soon resting upon your hip. The Vidyadhara continued.
”The days aren’t the same.. like rivers they aren’t—“ Once more a string of thoughts you wouldn’t decode while sober, once more a litany. The High Elder seemed strange recently, like an unsmoothened and unbrushed fur coat, spiking and sticking together like hair upon his forehead in the very moment.
”They…are different. Not for me, no—it’s the same. Whether I sleep now or later, it’s the same.”
You disregarded his faltering to drunken babbling, and reached beneath his arm to grab his wrist.
”Hey—“ his voice was cut as you pulled him along, a step—and then you opened the doors of his chamber, dragging him along inside. You had no time for this, similarly how you had no time to entertain him. Dan Feng would sleep, and then be back to normal. He always ripped at the edges when he drank, and yet this time was different. The High Elder did not try to keep his fuzz inside himself, neither did he try to re-sew the ripped threads.
As you snapped your fingers two times, the lanterns and lamps of the room came alight. With a tug you pulled the High Elder inside and he stumbled along, watching the doors fall close behind himself. The tips of your fingers were pressed flush to his skin in an unyielding grip, feeling the faint thum of his veins beneath. Quickened pulse, it was second nature to check.
Despite his flushed face, his skin was colder, having soaked in the soft cruelty of the chilly night breeze, and all the regrets and sorrow he might’ve felt. You felt as though you were touching glass.
”Tell me...” he mused, swaying on his feet lightly as he looked at you—eyes filled with something—something you did not have the dictionary to name, the front of his hair was as disheveled as his heart. His eyes were reflecting the many smaller lamps present in the room. “What do you guard so fiercely, my mirror?”
The question slipped past his lips like a feather, slowly moving through the air to drop in the floor of your retina; sinking to the bottom of the eyelid where it stuck. Your eye twitched, the duality and power of the question not escaping you.
Soft and orange-yellow light accompanied the words, adding a warm quality to the neutrally coloured room. The air seemed warmer than it actually was, wrapping around the moment,
You chose to pretend this was but a drunken babble, stepping over to the bedding, and he followed, he had no choice. Just as he had no choice with the salads of thoughts, like papers scattered around that he couldn’t assign to appropriate files—and then the files, which he couldn’t put into cabinets, and he couldn’t lock them away. Not anymore.
”High Elder, I think you’ve had enough for tonight.”
Dan Feng’s eyes were lidded, a finger catching some of your hair, moving round to wrap it around his digit. “I’ve had my fill… yet there’s something else I long for.”
You had half the thought to push him to end it, but the patience you had needed to be unwavering. And then his gaze met yours, a tint of vulnerability within his reddened cheeks.
”Could you do me a favour, my shadow? My mirror?”
The words weren’t a demand befitting a High Elder—a personal touch in them, a private request whispered between two people, far away from eyes which wished to pry him open and study him like a frog.
With a sigh, your stance faltered, and you nodded to him. “What is it, High Elder?”
The words hurt. But the pain on the High Elder’s face quickly faded, his fingers curling around your free hand, bringing it closer to his face. Two of his fingers pressing into your skin, where the river of life was heard through the thick stone. The lock of hair he held fell, unrolling, and your brows knit together, focus flicking from your opened palm to his face.
“Can you…” The Vidyadhara drew the words out, his eyes insistent on eye contact so much it was pitiful—seeking the depths of your eyes, looking beneath the reflective surface.
To who was beneath the glass, to the one who saw and was never seen.
“…Abandon the titles tonight? Could this be just you, and me?”
You blinked, perhaps the High Elder felt feverish. “What do you mean by that, High—“
Dan Feng’s eyes closed, and he finally pressed your palm to his cheek—both hot and cold, head tilting to feel your skin more, nearly nuzzling into it. The contact had your fingers flinch momentarily, and for a reason not yet discovered, you didn’t pull back.
You swallowed thickly. But what was there to do but to listen? Dan Feng looked at you soon after, eyes opening half way to gauge your expression—your reaction.
”I think you should rest for tonight, Dan Feng.”
Your hand met his shoulder, holding it firmly as you pulled him closer to the edge of the bed—but he refused. “You speak of rest, but is such a thing truly for me?” He mused. Dan Feng stood in front of you, the bed right behind you—yet he insisted.
”Does a person rest when their temporary reprieve is sleep?” Dan Feng utters, you’ve let go of his wrist after all—and so his other hand pressed into your palm, holding it that much closer to his jaw.
His hands felt colder against your single one, and yet they gained temperature moment after moment, filling in the more he remained in warmth. Your warmth.
”Is…there a thing like rest, for me?” The soft question continued, and you found no answer. “With… so much to do everyday, with… wellbeing of people on my back, and with constant work.”
The Vidyadhara thought of his words carefully, the alcohol causing his tongue to become untied yet slow, paced—so unlike his mind. Dan Feng’s brain worked on many things at the same time, yet it all felt hazy.
”I don’t cease being a High Elder of Vidyadhara in slumber so, please, my mirror. Let me be me.”
Mirror. Mirror, as you were as he was—and maybe he saw himself in you, in down to earth professionalism and an unyielding iron grip. And maybe in your stubbornness, which he would merely call steadfastness in relation to himself. Because who would understand if not a mirror?
And maybe faces upon water waver, falter, and shift—but you were no water, and neither was he—and he could not bend you.
Something in the glossy surface of your unmoving facade shifted—pronounced by your softened gaze, and the tilt of your hand. Dan Feng traced your palm down, the outer part of it softly pressing onto his cheek, knuckles feeling his skin. He leaned in, gaze flicking from your eyes to your lips, and he blinked slowly, afraid that the flutter of his eyelashes would send you away. He felt your pulse through his fingers.
The air felt thick and unmovable, weighing—not heavily like a shackle, but like a fog.
As the Vidyadhara’s face slowly moved closer and closer, you leaned back only slightly, and he halted for what felt like seconds. You stepped back. The lamplight reflected in the High Elder’s bright eyes was like stars reflected on a pond, the dark yet long slits like an inverted shine of moonlight. A heartbeat of silence, and he closed his eyes, finally moving forward.
Dan Feng’s body pressed into yours, and as he tipped his head, your feet suddenly hit the edge of the mattress. His sway caused him to crash forward with a hiss. And with him fell your body, the softness doing little to break your fall as you hit the bottom. Another thud right after yours, Dan Feng’s hand ended up near your face, on the side of your head, and his knees on each side of your thighs—just to not crush you.
The Vidyadharas eyes widened for a brief moment, mouth falling open as he blinked once—twice, gaze flicking from your eyes to your lips, then back. The long, dark hair spilled over his shoulders, shielding your face and his own from some of the outside—from anything daring to break the moment, to pop it like a bubble.
A dry chuckle left him, hand coming to your own, bringing it closer to his lips—feeling the side of it, your skin.
“What is it you guard so fiercely, mirror?” As he too knew what bubbled underneath the surface; the surface which he called his own, which was yours as much as it was his. “I want to see it. Let me see it, let me see you.”
Your breathing hitched, and you swallowed wordlessly. There was a ripple in your surface, and you moved your hand from his mouth to his jaw—knuckle of the index finger tracing his pale skin. Dan Feng inhaled softly, and the outer side of your hand moved down his neck, slowly, softly—
Dan Feng’s face tilted lightly, and your fingers hit the hard edge of his vest—where they halted. His eyes narrowed softly, not in anger, and his mouth curled in a frown. “Don’t stop…” A whine followed.
The Vidyadhara’s fingers curled around your wrist, moving your hand down, until it slipped underneath the robes, touching at his chest—pushing the fabric open, exposing his soul and his heart. Dan Feng’s hand loosened its grip shortly after, and in turn you found yourself moving your hand downward. Hooked index finger touched upon the tied belt, slipping beneath—pulling forward slightly. The material came undone, the edges of it hung low as his clothes opened, tickling your hand in passing.
His pale skin was like a moon’s surface, bright in its own right—a sheen of glow. Yet the faded scars remained, ones from fierce training; subtle as they were healed, and when your knuckles moved down his collarbone, you could feel the occasional dip and the rare texture.
But Dan Feng was not nearly satisfied. His hand moved to your chin, lifting it so that you shifted your gaze from his body to his eyes.
“My cold, unfeeling mirror. Who is the one beyond…?”
And then it happened, and he leaned over with a slight stumble—arm bending at the elbow, which hit the mattress, leaving you caged. But it did not seem to interrupt him much, eyes shifting to a close as his lips finally met yours.
Unmoving, a peck on a statue, and he moved his face back shortly after. The raw emotions reflecting through you were enough, your face tilted as his lips met your jaw, lingering as they slowly shifted down—to your neck, where he lingered. A hum left Dan Feng, his nose tickling your skin as he buried his face there.
The weight of his body suddenly pressed onto you, joints buckling in exhaustion caused by the long and tiring day, accelerated by the great joy of alcohol he indulged in previously—all seemed to have culminated in this very moment.
“Dan—“ He sighed, face nuzzling into your neck a little, moving slightly, just enough to self soothe. Dan Feng’s arm slipped underneath your waist, his breathing calm for a moment. “This—is unprofessional.”
You could feel his mouth move into a smirk, his warm breath tickling your skin, and then the vibration of his voice against your body.
”Maybe, are you going to punish me for it?”
Silence.
”Mirror…” Came his voice, vibrating against your neck. Dan Feng inhaled, a sound akin to a rumble, drawing out when he spoke once more. “Can you keep a secret, my guard? My mirror?”
Your eyes moved to the decorated ceiling, the darkness of his hair tickling your jaw like feathers. The Vidyadhara’s tail flicked lightly, the tip leaning against your leg, his breathing was soft, body so relaxed it was heavy.
But you couldn’t complain.
”My lips are sealed.”
Dan Feng took a moment to think of his next words, musing them over carefully. He let himself slip more to the side, not pressing his full body weight onto you anymore—with a leg draped over your hip, his face and warm breath still hitting your skin. Yet there was strange peace in his demeanour. He could nearly hear and feel your pulse from how close he was to your neck.
“Do you ever feel it…?” The question echoed, High Elder’s lashes tickling you when he closed his eyes. If he felt it, you had to, too. As you were a reflection—no, not a reflection. You were not that which only reflected, you were that which was alike. And if you were like him, you had to feel it too.
Your hand felt as if it moved on his own, moving to rest on his shoulder, sliding down his back. The contact felt strange, and as wrong as it was, you have long put aside the rigid morality.
”The… solitude. You’re made to be my shadow…” he murmured, voice a string, hardly coherent. Sleepy chatter which at first you’d mistake for dream-sewn nonsense. “You surely have to feel it.”
Fingertips touched upon his hair lightly, sliding up to the back of his head. Your fingers slowly pressed to the skin, moving upwards through the hair, the dark night-dimmed locks spilling through your hand.
Soft sigh left the High Elder, and his lips pressed to your neck once more.
In silence you went over his words once more, trying to decode the meaning you already knew. Because if you were a mirror, then you knew what he knew—and if you were one beyond the glass pane, you knew what Dan Feng tried to reflect.
Perhaps you were not a mirror, but resembled one—both of you knew that, yet to call it names so simplified was a mutual understanding. And maybe he felt alone on the pedestal he sat on all this time, but you were his shadow, and you sat there with him.
Your eyes moved down, ears picking up on the soft sound of his breathing, and the silence.
He was asleep.

𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐍 𝐈𝐌𝐏𝐀𝐂𝐓 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐉𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐋𝐈𝐔!𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐑 🌙❄️
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Former Sword Champion of the Luofu, and the creator of the Cloud Knights' legends of undefeated might. Now, her name has been wiped from the records, and she is a traitor of the Xianzhou walking on the fine line between sanity and mara-struck.
( English is not my first language )
< rewrite version > < part 2 >
Jing Liu!reader find themselves somewhere in the mountains in front of liyue harbor, walking towards the city many people give them weird stares and some milellith soldiers approach them asking them if they need any help walking since they are blind. But they turn them down but say thanks for their kindness. Jing Liu!reader continue walking until they come across iron tongue tian talking. Wouldn't be bad if they just sit down and listen.
They take a seat somewhere far away from the stand but close enough to listen, and a waitress puts a cup of tea in front of them. It has rich, smooth and earthy tastes with complex. It remains them back in the days of where the high cloud quintet would gather together for sparring sessions and to drink together talking about their day and etc.
Suddenly a gentleman, with long brown hair in a ponytail and amber eyes sat next to them when they were reminiscing about their time with their old friends. The gentleman looked at them and ask
Zhongli : excuse me, I hope you don't mind me sitting with you the seats are all taken
Jing Liu!reader : no, I don't mind
Zhongli : you know, I have never gotten the chance to introduce myself... Zhongli
Jing Liu! Reader : Jing Liu!reader
Zhongli : are you perhaps new, I have never come across you, where are you from
Jing Liu! Reader : a far away land, and by far I know, it's none of your business
Zhongli : ah I see...
Both of them sit in silence while listening to iron tongue talking. Retelling about their archon known as Morax or rex lapis...
After iron tongue, Jing Liu! reader was about to pay for the cup of tea from the mora that they stole from a bunch of treasure hoarders who tried to steal from them before they could pay, zhongli has offered the payment to the waitress for both of their cups of tea. Zhongli soon left them and said they have some work to do.
Jing Liu! Reader continue to enjoy liyue, flying a kite, trying the food and enjoying the scenery by far for the first time in a hundred years after they fall towards the darkness this was peaceful, bringing back their memory on their time on the luofu. But suddenly a monster with multiple heads burst out from the ocean ruining the moment of tranquility And soon the jade chamber passed over their head getting ready to defend liyue with all their might. Citizens started to run towards the exit Jing Liu!reader walked towards the exit and then looked behind, blindfold remove and continued on their journey towards the exit.
When all hope is lost the guizhong ballista was destroyed and it seems there was no hope suddenly a flash of cryo came in view towering the entire of liyue in height cutting the land below the ocean as well cutting the sea and freezing osial in their place. This managed to weaken osial and ningguan letting the jade chamber on the monster seal him away for now. In the mountains of liyue. Jingliu!reader was standing on top and was holding a blade emitting light and then walked away before they got pulled to this mess of this world.
Jingliu!reader : think of this as my way of saying thank you to your nation for being welcoming
And walk away from the scene before the tianquan finds out about it, but little did they know a group of fatui soldiers saw and reported this to the harbingers.
A few weeks later, the aftermath of the attacks hasn't been erased and the ocean still has some frozen remains from as well the attack manages to cut the earth, the tianquan has been investigating this conflict but by far no evidence has been found about who caused it. Yelan was sent to investigate about it.
"Meanwhile in Snezhnaya, a room of eleven higher ups as well the ruler of the nation was listening towards the report"
Fatui soldier : and by far that's the report my lords
The "jester" : I see thank you for your hard work, your excuse
Fatui soldier : "disappears"
The "jester" : what do you think, your majesty ...
??? : interesting, command our agents to investigate who was the one that created that slash
Meanwhile a ship of supplies, was navigating their way towards the nation of eternity and inside the cargo was the previous swordmaster of the luofu meditating in the middle. Getting ready to see the nation of electro and to face any new upcoming challenges.
A pluck glaze lily was laying next to a silk flower, a reminder of their dear friend that they lost on their journey, and now the only thing that's keeping them alive was to swore to kill the abomination of an aeon and the promised to cut the stars for their dear friend they miss dearly.
Here is the rewritten version of jingliu!reader, should I make a part two or not.

hello, could you write kafka with a fem reader in this scenario: she meets her gfs friends for tje firts time and her gf is usually shy and reserved but more less with her friends. her friends dont know that she got a gf yet so they flirt with her as usual(they always do that)and rest is up to your imagination? like yn being awkward and trying to explain herself lol sorry this is a bit messy but i hpe you undertand! have a nice day and take care <3
Tumblr media
I WON’T STEAL HER ! ft. kafka
a/n. apologies that the requests i’m getting are nearly taking a long time to fulfill, it’s partially because of storage and partially because of my mental health, but i’m back i think lawl, and thank you for the request anon! 🤍
cw. fem!reader, kafka gets a lil jealous, ooc himeko, a little ooc kafka? idk lol, tbh idrk what i’m yapping about in some of this i just woke up, i think that’s it lmk if i missed anything 🤍
Tumblr media
your girlfriend’s mind was slowly turning into mush because of how much she was overthinking the moment you told her that you were going a little too far away from her to visit your friends.
“kafka, relax, it’s only gonna be for a few hours,” you explained to her, your voice as reassuring as possible, “it should only be for four hours, just like my usual night-shift,” you finish.
“that’s not the only issue, dear,” she contemplates at you, her eyes practically glued onto your frowned expression, “you know i get jealous easily.” she whispers, which you somehow didn’t catch onto.
Tumblr media
after enough convincing, here you were with your now stubborn girlfriend.
the magenta-haired woman’s brows furrowed in confusion ever since she noticed how much longer it was taking just to see your friends.
she did pay attention to you telling her that it would take a long time to see your friends, but she didn’t think it would take this long.
not to mention, she’s an impatient woman.
after a couple minutes, you turned your view to the darkened screen of your phone, turning up your brightness a little bit.
noticing that kafka was still driving, you texted your friends that you were almost there.
kafka paused her driving.
“who are you texting?”
oh.
Tumblr media
as soon as you both finally got to the somewhat big cabin that your friends were in, you noticed kafka’s now calm facade, which you quickly got confused by.
however, not thinking much of it, you creaked the old cabin’s door open and finally met eyes with your overly-enthusiastic friends.
kafka slowly walked in, as if she was accidentally going to break all the wood keeping the cabin up.
you signed and turned your head towards her, to which you were met with her smirking, which you were even more confused by.
“kaf?” you whispered over to her, to which she gasped, then let out a small chuckle.
“sorry, darling, i’m coming,” she emphasized the word ‘darling’ louder than usual to alert your friends of knowing you were hers.
you playfully rolled your eyes at her as she let out another chuckle as soon as she noticed.
Tumblr media
knowing kafka was not a stoic woman whatsoever, you had an opportunity to finally introduce her to your somewhat big friend group.
first, there was luka.
luka was practically the dad of the friend group, his outgoing personality making everyone feel as if the atmosphere was warmer than usual in dangerous situations most of the time.
for example, you and everyone else went into the woods and he kept going on and on about how his last wrestling match went, while… winking at you, to emphasize that you were the one that gave him the best luck in that match.
furthermore, you were the only one in your friend group that was excited to go to luka’s matches, that was most likely why.
then, there was serval, the charming rockstar who would never shut up in her room up in the attic of her and gepard’s shared cabin.
…which gepard would usually wake up, breathing heavily as if he was running laps, when in reality serval was practicing for her next concert.
third, jingliu.
she didn’t really do much, she just wandered around and occasionally came to hang out with the rest of your friend group.
as much as you wished she hang out with the rest of you more, she wasn’t really one to have any opportunities to engage in fun activities, her “duties came first” is what her only excuse was.
lastly, himeko.
himeko was never quiet about you, always trying to help you whenever you needed help with relationship advice with kafka.
however, she was more of the playful type than the rest of the friend group.
she always blew fake kisses to you as a joke, and she always had her ways with you, whether it was if you refused to go to the store with her, she would practically beg you either way.
Tumblr media
kafka didn’t think much of your friends, she was just trying to get comfortable, to which it took more than a while.
and finally, after hours of convincing her to go to the fair with you and your friend group, she finally agreed.
Tumblr media
the next couple hours consisted of himeko clinging to your side to what felt like 24/7, even though it was only a day.
kafka quickly noticed, and quickly got uncomfortable.
“…himeko, please,” you begged, “my girlfriend is here,” you continued, your heart beat racing out of nervousness, sighing, to which you were clearly uncomfortable with.
“GIRLFRIEND!?” himeko yelled, probably louder than the screams of the people on roller coasters at this point.
kafka quickly flinched, luka turned around, jingliu who surprisingly came with, blinked a few times, and serval screamed back in agony, a rush of fear quickly flowing through her body for a split second, but then realized it was just himeko screaming.
kafka smirked, walking slowly towards himeko with a menacing gaze and you rolled your eyes at her playfully.
“relax,” you spoke to your magenta-haired girlfriend, who rose her brows and quickly pulled you away.
“who is that?” she questioned you, her voice a little shaky, despite trying her best to keep her somewhat seductive demeanor towards you.
“a girl from my friend group,” you replied, raising a brow in confusion.
what kafka didn’t know is that himeko was not interested in you whatsoever, and that himeko was one to be the flirty type of woman.
“ah,” kafka replied, “tell me more about her.”
Tumblr media
“[name]!” serval and luka yelled, luka lifting up his mechanical arm in an attempt to wave at you.
you chuckled, your shy demeanor coming back into view.
they both came rushing towards you, eager to ask you if you wanted to go on the highest roller coaster with them after they finish their funnel cake.
“[name]~” luka taunted, walking towards you with a smirk on his face, “luka, go away she’s mine,” serval elbowed him playfully.
kafka’s breath hitched in her throat.
nonetheless, she didn’t want to mention anything for now, so she decided to think back on your friends’ question.
kafka, still standing right next to you, raised her brows in confusion because she knew you were not one for roller coasters at all.
“erm-“ kafka interrupted you, to which you gasped, “she doesn’t like going on those,” finishing for you.
you whipped your head to look at her and sighed in relief, tapping her shoulder twice as if letting her know you were okay.
“thank you,” you whispered to her.
little did you know, the only reason why she did that was because she wanted to stay with you for the entire day.
“you can see your friends another day,” was her excuse.
“kaf-“
“shhh,” she interrupted once more, “come home and comfort me, sweetie, will you?” she faked a frown.
Tumblr media
“miss, i am not intending to steal your girlfriend, don’t worry,” himeko apologized to the practically frozen-in-place stellaron hunter.

Clouded Stars (A non-typical Honkai: Star Rail role swap AU): Belobog and Xianzhou Luofu Arcs
This is an AU where Dan Heng and Caelus swap roles where Dan Heng is the stellaron host and Caelus is the vidyadhara high elder. Along the way, some characters are also swapped and I have only written a few characters who are swapped.
Character List
Astral Express
Dan Heng (swapped with Caelus/alive (died once) - a young man resembling a Xianzhou native who contains a Stellaron and was created by the Stellaron Hunter Yukong before he was left in Herta's Space Station. After the Belobog arc, he became Caelus' lover. He soon became the archivist of the Astral Express.
Caelus (swapped with Dan Heng/alive) - the former literal nameless Vidyadhara who was the reincarnation of Qiong and was exiled from the Xianzhou Luofu. He was discovered by Welt Yang on a planet, starving and wishing to die before he joined the Astral Express to become a guard.
Belobog
Seele (swapped with Bronya/alive) - the rebellious adoptive daughter of Cocolia and the next Supreme Guardian of Belobog.
Bronya (swapped with Seele/alive) - the strict lieutenant of Wildfire who was adopted by Oleg.
Serval (swapped with Gepard/alive) - a scientist/mechanic-turned-captain of the Silvermane Guards after her little brother Gepard lost one of his arms.
Gepard (swapped with Serval/alive/mentioned) - after losing his arm, Serval trained him to build his own mechanical arm and to fix other machines.
Stellaron Hunters
Yukong (swapped with Kafka/alive) - the de-facto leader of the Stellaron Hunters and Dan Heng's "mother". She is an exiled Foxian after a reckless stunt in the Abundance War, who also excelled in technology.
Yanqing (swapped with Silver Wolf/alive) - the young exiled swordsman from the Xianzhou Luofu. While he is a swordsman, he also enjoyed video games and spent most of his money to buy swords from different worlds.
Jing Yuan (swapped with Yingxing/dead/alive) - the former Arbiter General candidate of the Xianzhou Luofu who was cursed with Mara after trying to trigger the Arcanum with Qiong. He soon ended up in the Stellaron Hunters with a grudge against Qiong's reincarnation - Caelus.
Xianzhou Luofu
Baiheng (swapped with Jingliu/alive) - the Foxian pilot who fell to Mara and exiles herself from the Xianzhou Luofu.
Jingliu (swapped with Baiheng/deceased) - Xianzhou Luofu's former sword champion who died during the war against Abundance while being cradled by Baiheng.
Yingxing (swapped with Jing Yuan/alive) - AKA Blade in Canon. He replaced Jing Yuan as a general candidate and became a general himself.
Qiong (deceased/reincarnated into Caelus/swapped with Dan Feng) - the Vidyadhara high elder named after the skies. He was executed after committing an unforgivable crime. Soon, his reincarnation would suffer the punishment meant for him.
Kafka (swapped with Yukong/alive) - the helm master of the Xianzhou Luofu working for Yingxing.
Silver Wolf (swapped with Yanqing/alive) - Kafka's protege and a warrior for the Cloud Knights.
Penacony (so far)
Acheron (Raiden Bosenmori Mei swapped with Kiana Kaslana/alive) - AKA Kiana Kaslana. A white-haired woman with blue eyes who is also a survivor of the planet Izumo. She is also an Emanator of Nihility whose hair turns black whenever she uses her full power. She used to know/forgot a certain woman.
Note: I have not yet developed the Penacony plot yet nor did I write the Baiheng/Jingliu companion mission fic.

Alright lets see what Ampherus is all about and I hope that's the right name because I just remember something on A and that there's a p somewhere but I am not completely sure.
TLDR after finishing it:
Story: great. I think its well written and the mysteries are interesting.
Budget allocation; 85% cutscenes, 15% dialogue scenes. Honestly the difference in quality is STAGGERING and it is VERY noticable.
The bossfight: fucking awful because its %maxHP def-ignoring AoE damage. No I am not kidding. Let me repeat that: the boss has %maxHP def-ignoring AoE damage! Who the fuck thought that was a good idea?! Honestly good luck because unless you can out-DPS it there is actually NOTHING you can do. (except switch to easy mode. That drops the boss' level to 63. My Jingliu 3-shot it)
Its AmphOrEus. Eh I was close.
Ah if only we could have some characters sitting or leaning on a table. Presentation is a big part of the story after all, and this is a complaint Im brining with me from all of Hoyo's games lately.
What's the point of custom music on the Astral Express if every time I load it the music resets?
This cut???? Pre- and post- cut arent even close!
Was probably because Sunday was blocking the window. The lack of the window made me really confused about where we were even standing.
That forehead touching black screen is WHY YOU USE 3D MODELS SO YOU CAN ACTUALLY ANIMATE IT. Sorry, HI3 actually started using 3D models as 3D models again and now it just feels very lazy when HSR does black screens instead.
Oh my god was that "Some time later" black screen REALLY necessary?
We're right next to the train and nothing happened! Just cut that some time later screen it completely killed the momentum of the cutscene!
Okay I actually took a shower and got some time to think. So far I really like this! We kinda go to a place nobody knows anything about for fuel reasons, but as soon as we arrive mysteries start up. It made me more curious about Amphoreus.
I KNEW IT. I KNEW THE STATUES MOVED.
The budget gap between the cutscene and dialogue is STARK
There's so many missed oppertunities to really show the strength of 3D models and Hoyo has barely been doing it for years now. How does PGR with its VN style of story show their story better than Snowy not even able to toss our baseball bat back to us?
I really like the whole memory of the past thing, makes sense with Remembrance here and clears up the confusion I had earlier, being that I though it was switching from night to day. But actually its present and past. That's cool.
Also Tribbie just poofed into thin air lol.
Wow the low budget "we cant even show Stelle on the Dromas" into a high budget cutscene really caught me off-guard. I know Im repeatedly bringing it up but the difference in quality is staggering.
Wow they sped up the "turning around" animation and it didnt look horrible. Good job. I like. Improvement.
The Furiae Praetor completely ignores taunt. Uuuuuuh okay then sure I guess.
I was just gonna bring up how I like Castorice but Hoyo brought up birds again and just please dont go philosophical with it...
These water physics are fantastic holy shit is this where the budget went??
Wait the upper water physics are worse? Why? Come on! The downstairs water was great!
Ooh Stellaron is here too. I hope they bring back that we can hear the Stellaron, that was really cool when it happened in Belobog.
The intrusive thoughts win again!
I think Im also gonna stop my budget complaints here. Its allthrough around every corner except every 6th corner where theres a high quality cutscene or fantastic water physics.
Ah shit March is here and she just leaked that the universe exists. She lacks critical information!
Our own bath has the good water physics lets go!
Wait a minute, why did the thread tremble? It only trembles at a lie! What part of what I said was a lie about the Stellaron in my body?
Tumblr media
Lol you can just leave and the credits roll
Aaaaaand it stuck my game on mute forcing an actual relaunch. What the fuck Hoyo? OH WIAT NVM I just had to manually quit to title and its back.
Tumblr media
No, trust me, my Fire TB can tank a star. We wont be having issues with me tanking damage. I just hope that the team is just me and Phainon.
How the hell did this bridge stop anyone from entering? Sure, leaving might be a problem, but I could make that jump down and then just walk up the other end. This bridge just exists to be fancy, not to actually serve as a bridge considering if they just built the lower section slightly higher, a bridge wouldnt be needed at all.
Tumblr media
PLeassseeeeee just give me trial charactersssssss
It would be so so so fitting for this partttt.
WE REALLY FIGHT STRIFE WITHOUT TRIAL CHARACTERS COME ON
Did they really have to clarify that Mydeimos is Mydei? They're having way too much fun with this over-the-text clarification.
Its a race against time! We have to warn them and get ready right away! Lets play the normal calm music the city normally has :) that will fit the tone! :D
Imagine a world where we could actually see the TB jump onto the scale...
I like that all our past memories were of the Stellaron Hunters. Definitely feels like we're being set up to work alongside them. And if Hoyo wants to go wild (which they havent been that much lately) they could temporarily make us leave the Astral Express in order to work with the Stellaron Hunters to achive something. That would be really cool but also very wild. It could happen, as long as the writers dont write on shit and make Stelle forget again once I click away the "new path" screen.
Also wow we just got Remembrance just like that? I mean, it was fitting, but its kinda crazy how Belobog is still the best in regards to giving us a new path. Belobog > Amphoreus > Penacony for me. The weapons have REALLY gone downhill tho. The hat was fun but now we just have a pen? Give me a blade or a gun next time, I want to see Stelle with an assault rifle in her hands.
Oh shit Remembrance is a new playable path. I have no light cones!
Well at least I have something new to spend my stamina on! Remembrance stuff!
Oh wow I just looked through TB's and Mem's skills and oh boy I need to build some other tank units because Mem sounds like an insane support for my Jingliu
Oh my god IceTB makes me want to run Jingliu Bronya Mem and Sparkle because oh my god I want to let her go on an absolute rampage
Oh it never hit me that Mem can fucking die until Luocha healed her.
Also Mem is so close to both Meme and Emm I cant what is this help-
...You get a free Victory In a Blink after the section is over. I could've saved some currency...
Okay kinda late on this, but I wish Agy would've actually been ready to kill us if it meant protecting the city. It just, feels overly safe to have her go "yeah I never actually inteded to kill them, it was just to put them under pressure :)" like, Hoyo used to give us playable characters that killed other people. It just feels overly safe, like as to alienate as few people as possible from liking her. I dont think it would change Agy's character much at all, and its not like TB and Dan ever finds out she never meant to kill us, Agy just told Tribbie that little fact. Just, remove that little scene and nothing changes about her - except that it doesnt feel like she was written as safely as they could write her.
Whohooo they gave us Story Agy! Finally! Do they not have Phanion ready yet or what? Please do this more Hoyo it used to be so immersive.
Well they just used the exact same black screen 3 times in a row...
I like the puzzle mechanics but do they really have to put a marker handholding you through how to solve it?
I know I said I wouldnt bring up the budget... but they couldnt even animate Castorice coughing. Just have a visual novel for dialogue moments at this point...
Gnaeus is one of the best characters ngl
The refight with Strife was not made with the IceTB in mind. She keeps getting oneshot during Strife's turns right away due to not having enough HP from relics. Whoopdedoo here comes FireTB again.
Kinda sad that the only way this fight is hard is because it deals % max HP damage that ignores defense while cutting out max HP by 50% constantly.
Like, what the fuck?
...... and the boss attacks before using the %maxHP def-ignoring attacking.
I think its safe to say that this is the worst designed boss in the entire game.
You're telling me that we did all that and it still attacked the big statue guy? Like yeah it couldn't keep beaming it forever, but we couldn't even stop it in time? Cmon now. You cant just make a bullshit boss and then not even let us finish it.
Yeah that was the only boss I ever turned on Easy mode for in any Hoyo game. I am not going to try to figure out a way to beat motherfucking %maxHP def-ignoring damage. If casual mode didnt lower its levels by like 20 so my Jingliu could 3-shot it, I would've just put down the game and concluded my playthrough there.
I hope to fucking god it doesnt have that move in the weekly battle, but I have a feeling it just fucking might.
Suddenly Herta feels... very random. But I cant be too mad since it seems that FINALLY something is happening while we aren't there. Now here's to hoping that they dont blow the fuse too early and Herta comes to Amphoreus, because why the fuck would she?
(deep sigh)
So how does the Astral Express travel? Because I dont know what low on fuel means for it, but I dont think trips back and forth across the cosmos would be good for the fuel situation. If those teleporting points are actually used by them, 1. How the fuck do they work? 2. That is a massive security issue if someone can just warp into anywhere.
Whatever. What is the difference of us being glanced by Aeons and Herta being glanced by Aeons? Because we're getting casually glanced at left and right, but for Herta it could incinerate anyone and anything near her.
Okay its been rubbing me the wrong way for a while now; what the hell is this prophecy? Most prophecies I usually hear in stories is like, this character is destined to be great! or something like this. But this prophecy literally dictates what they do. These chants and rituals include the mention of the prophecy in them, its like the entire world of Amphoreus is dictated by what the prophecy says. Its not like "oh this great boy who came from nothing will rise up and become a god" no, its "the prophecy chose this boy to grow up to become a god" like, what? What the hell is this prophecy?
Its really rubbing me the wrong way.
Hello Elysia Voice Actor.
Whaaaat the hell is happening to March? She's returning to her ice state!
Honestly the most interesting thing about Amphoreus is what is happening to March, but I actually hope that it isnt resolved at Amphoreus because Hoyo DESPERATELY needs some plot points to last longer than in just one section. Like I dont want March to be back on her feet and happy by the end of Amphoreus. I want this to drag out so that we can have some reason to go to the next area other than to just Trailblaze.

Jing Yuan: *Smiles, watching Yanqing train*
Jing Yuan: *Perks up then smiles at a mechanical lion popping out of his hair* Hey Min-Min...
Min-Min: *Snaps her jaws then yawns, shutting down to nap*
Jing Yuan: *Chuckles, being more careful with moving around now*
Yanqing: What is that?
Jing Yuan: Her name is Min-Min..she's a good friend of mines..
Jing Yuan: *Looks down* I finished her for someone...

❛  i wish i could be as important to you as you are to me.  ❜ [Jing Yuan to Blade!]
❛  i wish i could be as important to you as you are to me.  ❜ [Jing Yuan to Blade!] - - ┈┈∘┈˃̶༒˂̶┈∘┈┈ - -
“What do you mean by that?” Blade questioned as he looked at Jing Yuan. He looked so forlorn when he said that.
He knows Jing Yuan is/was important to him. Even when he was young, or in his fuzzy memories at least, Jing Yuan was close, a best friend after he was introduced to the group by Baiheng. Baiheng… A fallen friend.
Jing Yuan was not one of the three that must pay the price. Baiheng and Jing Yuan did nothing wrong. It was him, Dan Feng, and Jingliu that must. He can’t, won’t, get too close as he tries to pay his own price. He was paying back a debt, that was all.
Jingliu turned herself in. She fought him, but couldn’t kill him permanently, a shame. Dan Feng had reincarnated into a nameless traveler who claimed he wasn’t Dan Feng. A new face and name cannot wash their sins away. Then himself, a monster that he never wanted to become, a man who couldn’t die, not that he didn’t try of course.
He was banished from the Luofu. He could never get too close to the General unless he allowed it so. The General could easily remove him as well. However, here he stands at the Waterscape, in front of the statue with his sword between his crossed arms next to the General. The Hunters would be back soon to pick him up, he just had a few things left to do here.
How close did Jing Yuan feel to him? What did he want him to feel for him? Respect? He had it, even if he was slightly miffed that Jing Yuan did nothing to stop Dan Feng or himself from creating that monstrosity, but what could a boy do against them anyway?

@iniziare totally sent this to the right blog: "I always enjoyed coming here when I needed a moment of reprieve. And even now— it is almost enough to still the voices.” (Jingliu to Jing Yuan in present daaaay)
Tumblr media
It is a peaceful place; a hidden garden with meticulously set paths lined by ginkgo trees whose leaves are turning yellow and falling from the branches like golden rain in the soft breeze. Soon they'll be bare and lifeless before they sprout again in vibrant green. Jing Yuan has watched this cycle more times than he could count while sitting in the quiet harmony of this retreat, in search for peace and contemplation, for memories and dreams thereof - for in memories they're all together still. The leaves are born and grow to full beauty until they perish when their time has come, making room for the next generation. A process so natural it's almost hard to think of it as cruel; just like the knights, their sons and daughters - just like them. Their life cycle might be longer than that of a leaf, but eventually their glory will fade and they, too, will fall and be forgotten, leaving an empty branch for others to grow and shine in their place.
This prospect does not scare him, for the grief of his own inevitable demise cannot compare to that of his past: to the loss of his friends and their shared dream. Now, it would be a lie to say the certainty of losing himself to the mara is not frightening either, but this fear is rooted within the possibility of his own actions, not the death of his legacy. Is this the secret to her persistence, in the end? The ability to transcend beyond mortal hopes of bringing change and being remembered for it? Evidently there are worse things than losing one's name or finding it tainted by the blood of allies.
Tumblr media
She does not look at him - of course she doesn't, for what would warm his heart and allow him to revisit a love and devotion he once knew to be a part of him is in equal measure poison to her mind.
Devoid of shame, he wishes it were not the case and that she would look at him, just for a moment. He'd even welcome her disapproving looks, welcome the chance to forget the present for a fleeting moment and dream himself back into the past that slipped through his hands like sand. The past in which great battles were nothing but a future chance to prove himself, to follow Lan and to protect that which he loved. A past in which he was nothing but a zealous yet reckless disciple who took the idea that every mistake or punishment was a chance to learn a little too literally.
You're always welcome here, he'd like to say, but this offer is not his to make. Soon she will bid farewell to the light and the wind and the quiet that this place provides and once again he won't move enough to help a friend. "Perhaps true peace can be found inside us." Perhaps true peace can only be found in death. "Take your reprieve as long as you need. I've not come to cut it short." Not just yet.

HSR 3.3 pt 2
Ok let's go watch everybody suffer or something I don't know
First up, lemme write in Stelle's magic storybook...
Tumblr media
Mem you're gonna die too. I know hoyo. Let's not pretend you're getting out of Amphoreus. And yours will be the death that hurts me the most.
Tumblr media
Yeah but she's also usually right...
Tumblr media
Man I don't know, probably being really cool and awesome just off camera
So okay, everyone is still saying Aquila is alive, what was the deal with Hyacine's grandma's story about how they already killed Them?
I don't know how we're planning to kill the sky but yknow if Himeko were here it'd be a lot easier
The way everyone is acting like we're about to finish the story when we have 4 more patches on Amphoreus is a little scary yo
Tumblr media
Woulda been cool IF WE COULD HAVE SEEN IT sorry sorry I know hoyo is just a widdle baby indie company they can't afford to ani— oh what's that, this game earns millions of dollars a month?
Tumblr media
??? literally what are you talking about game
biiitch yeah this place is all a big computer huh I mean it'd kinda be cooler if I hadn't called that like 5 minutes after we arrived, but sure, what are you going to do with that plot now, hoyo? Because your track record on this is not good.
This place being all dark and silent and then staying lit up after the scene (and also banger music comes in) very cool.
Tumblr media
I'll be saying this all the time
E0 Hyacine with day-1 gear is out-DPSing E0S1 Jingliu I'm going to cry.
Okay, now they're explaining what happened with Aquila in the past.
I love Little Ica, but it woulda been way cooler if Hyacine got these two beasts as her summons...
Tumblr media
Actually, could we elaborate for just a little while? Since it's very clearly gonna matter, and maybe if you explained it now we could save everyone a lot of heartbreak?
Tumblr media
Re: this document, so Seliose very much "became" the new Aquila, even though a "cycle" hasn't passed yet. In the thematic sense.
girl what little ica is Seliose?? Ok no it's just saying Ica is Lunabis' descendant. The way they worded it tho, lol
Woulda been nice if Ica had actually existed prior to 3.3
"Hard drives" they are done being subtle lmao
I really love this zone. But it's too bad we're turning it so dark and dreary, it looked better lit up...
I love Hyacine
I killed god
...god unkilled itself.
LETS gGOOOoo
Back 2 Kitty. Not sure what that 300 years thing means if it's already been a thousand? Like, shouldn't everyone have died 700 ago then?
Ciphainon 😄
Tumblr media
cmon game let me use all 4 Stelles together too
so... "if you believe a lie, it becomes true"... she told everyone the protection would last forever, and it did? Because... they believed in it and worked to make it be that way.
But like... why didn't they return Kephale's coreflame before they left? Then they wouldn't have had to guard it and all this
Aww, Mydei came to save his boyfriend :3
Tumblr media
I don't want to hear anyone saying Dan isn't a good guy anymore.
I mean Phainon is right, we really ought to leave now...
I really hate how version trailers spoil scenes from the upcoming story. But you also can't skip them because they have unique material too.
Tumblr media
"That thing"?
oh.
Oh people are gonna be shipping Cyrene/Phainon so hard for the next month pukeyface
A very odd spot to end the chapter. I think a better option would be we leave, see everything collapse and reset and then return again to the new world (especially if March's soul still needs saving). But hoyo always ends chapters either too soon or too late, so I'm not surprised.
I also really wish the lie that saved the city were written a little differently. If I were writing it, I would do it so that she tricked people into believing they could survive, and so they made that future happen by their own hands. Her lie starts it, but it's their will that continued it, rather than Titan Magic. But that's not the way it goes in game. Ah well.
And will they justify why Cyrene is suddenly alive and here again before the cycle resets, or will that just be a "well, we needed a cliffhanger" moment that gets forgotten?
Overall? Hyacine's dungeon is probably my favorite single part of 3.x so far. I still don't care about Amphoreus enough to be viscerally torn up over seeing it destroyed and all its people killed – like I would if this were happening to the AE crew or the Stellaron Hunters – but I'm invested in it as a story pretty well. I hope they can stick the landing in the next few parts.

Spoilers for 1.3 and Dan Heng IL's quest
(imagine here a badly drawn illustration of Bailu dragging Jing Yuan back to the hospital by his lion tail tassel. I don't have time to draw…)
Speaking about DH's quest, I quite liked it. Now I like DH a bit more. Well done, game (not to the point of pulling for him, but still).
So I guess the Bailu-Baiheng connection theory has been confirmed? I'm quite hazy about the details though. So DF created some kind of "draconic abomination" that killed a lot of people, and then Baiheng died (defeating it?) and then DF created a Vidyadhara child out of her corpse, and, like, transferred his "high elderness" to her?….
So his solution to Vidyadhara not being able to have children is to create children out of corpses of other races? Is it ethical to do it without their consent? It's some hardcore necromancy stuff, to be honest.
Also, does it mean that Bailu's growth has been stunted by the elders for about 700 years? That's also some nightmare fuel. I mean she doesn't just look like a child, she acts and thinks like a child. Also, does it mean she's close to the end of her current life and will have to undergo her rebirth soon?
Also, Luocha and Jingliu being delightfully shady, what's up with that, I can't wait for the next update.

Basic info:
Name: Huang Qinmin (Mingqin used as a nickname) Age: (???) Faction: Xianzhou Luofu (former), The Nameless/Astral Express (current) Sexuality: Bisexual Gender: Demigirl
Personality
Qinmin is known to be a soft spoken, and kind individual, more often than not preferring to take a peaceful approach to arguments rather than a violent one. As an instructor, she's strict, still adhering to traditional methods of teaching, while being as gentle as possible. Her students often say that she's as good of a teacher as she is a friend. This stems from her belief that martial arts should only be practiced when one's mind is clear and focused, as it is an art form, and not just a self defense method. She'll often ask her mentees to sit down for tea and snacks with her, to let go of their concerns. People on the Luofu agree that she's rather intimidating, however, due to her reputation as a martial artist. Should you get on her bad side, which is a rare occurence, they'll advise you to seek refuge with General Jing Yuan, as he is a close friend of hers. If anyone manages to upset her, she'll act quite petty around them, often making backhanded compliments or snide remarks - all with the same gentle smile on her face like she means well.
Physical appearance/physical traits:
-Black or dark grey hair, with some strands of yellow, orange, red, and pink -Large, feathered wings, prominently dark and light blue, dark and light green, and white -Feathery tail, similar to one of a Fenghuang/phoenix’s  -Pointed ears -Pale skin, plenty of scars on her chest and legs -Dark, sharp eyes, described as “glasslike” by some -Tall, with a body build similar to Jingliu’s -Has a hairpin inlaid with opal and jade, given to her by one of the previous High Elders (who also saved her.)

Backstory/background info
Huang Paoyi was saved by one of Dan Heng’s previous incarnations, and in order to thank him, she swore she’d serve him for as long as she could, and signed a blood contract that has bound her to this duty. Throughout all their incarnations together, she has stayed true to her oath.
She was perhaps the least close with Dan Feng out of the incarnations she knew, yet she still stayed by his side. The High Cloud Quintet regarded her as a separate entity, and she shows no resentment about it given the present situation of the group. There is no evidence she was involved in the resurrection of Baiheng.
She is similar to a Vidyadhara in the way that she possesses the ability to be reborn. Though, in order to experience a new life cycle, she must first sacrifice herself. [[acc just her committing the unalive..]]
During Dan Heng’s time in the Shackling Prison, she kept an eye on him from afar, bitterly cursing herself for not being able to assist him, even if she herself promised not to get involved with his doings. Unsurprisingly, she would attempt to talk to him, even when the guards clearly told her not to.
Soon after his release, she left behind diary logs informing her next incarnation of the identity of her “superior”, along with who she was, with the assistance of hatching rebirth managers. She then sacrificed herself, a child-like version of her emerging from the ashes. The memories of her previous life which she retained would fade in a week, and she would be left with Whys, Whos and Whats running through her head.
She read through the diary, learning that the name her previous self, Huang Paoyi assigned for her was “Qinmin”. She took the name without complaints. Early on, she took an interest in martial arts, which she studied for years, and eventually mastered, becoming an instructor later on.
She became close friends with Jing Yuan, due to his history with her previous incarnation, and their interest in chess.
Upon Qinmin’s meeting with Dan Heng after she was informed of his arrival on the Xianzhou Luofu, she talked with him. She knelt before him like she had done before, introducing herself according to Paoyi’s instructions in the diary.
At first, it Dan Heng tried to dismiss her, but, being bound to the contract, of course Qinmin rebuffed his offering to cut her subordinate ship and allow her to live her own life, since it would be impossible.
Instead, she insisted on still being his subordinate. They both finally agreed, with her now following him wherever he goes. Be it the Xianzhou or the Astral Express.
She can freely transform between her “human” form and an actual phoenix/fenghuang. So if you see a colourful bird aboard the Astral Express or in its archives, it’s probably her.

Note
Zarina returns back to her room on the Express to find... Dan Heng. Asleep on her bed on top of the sheets and blankets. It seems someone missed her while she was away.
@etherealguard
Tumblr media
The Apostle of Origin has her own missions to fulfill that isn't connected to the Astral Express or even her past alliance with the Stellaron Hunters (alas, unknown to all but the hunters themselves). The Aeon of Origin cannot appear in her glory before the humanity, not yeet, at the very least. she needs to see what she cannot reach, especially when those lands are connected to the story of saving the galaxy.
But it seems that her return was important for someone on this express, not just anyone, but to Dan Heng. Especially when their separation caused by the meeting with Jingliu appeared to have created that rift she was not ready to cross until she saw the comfort and safety in Dan Heng's eyes or body language. It was never her intention to hurt him; thus, she remained on the Xianzhou Luofu to finalize her own agenda. It took longer than expected to the point of Himeko sending her a message, telling her that the departure shall happen soon and everyone is waiting. It seems that she was well aware of what was going on with Dan Heng during her absences.
Tumblr media
The sight leaves her speechless when she enters her room. It's unusual for anyone toe ver enter her room, but the amount of blankets and sheets make her believe they were brought out to make himself more comfortable. The temperature in this room was lower than in the others to bring the ex-Herrscher of Ice more comfort, but for others it might be uncomfortable. Golden eyes study the view of Dan Heng's sleeping figure on her bed, wrapped so secured in those blankets.
Was he waiting for her? Here? All this time?
It's not a secret there's been a certain sense of awkwardness, a worry from the side of the silver haired woman as to not harm the young Vidyadhara. He's been through too much and more pushes would've shattered him, his sense of self, his sense of the present. Zarina has seen it happen before, but right now? It seems he waited. For her. When was the last time someone had waited for her like this? Too long. A bit too long to remember who did this to her.
Her gaze turns melancholic as she approaches the bed with the sleeping Dan Heng. Even in heels, she steps more on her tiptoes to avoid making any clicking sounds against the floor. As she looks at the bundle of blankets, her lips curl upwards just a bit to show off a soft yet sad smile on her face. He could've texted her to come back or ask where she's been to let her know he wished to speak, or spend time together, or simply remain in touch.
"So many blankets," she chuckles softly, enough to let out a sound but not enough to stir the other awake. Zarina sighs, letting her shoulders drop before straightening up again and reaching to caress his cheek. He should wake up soon, it's not good to sleep in a colder room like this. Even if he sleeps on the floor of the archives, the temperature there is better than here. "You could've called me, Dan Heng..."
But it's alright. When he wakes up, she'll be here, reading a book. There is no need to wake him up when the silverette makes sure he's covered in blankets comfortably to retain the warmth of them and his own body heat. When satisfied, the woman nods and looks at the chair standing next to her bed. As she gets up, Zarina takes off her heels to make no sound while walking around the room.
Instead, she takes one of the books she got from the Luofu to read. Eyes of ichor glance back at the young man sleeping and her smile turns softer, sweeter. The bond they shared wasn't completely broken and it means the world to her on their path to the next planet, next world, next step on their journey.
And it seems, this story will continue to blossom. It makes her glad to see the blooms of their bond not withered, but persisting with time through challenge. Dan Heng didn't reject her completely, he simply needed time to find his way back home.

I am currently manifesting a Myriad Celestia Trailer soon because the last one was August 26 with the one before being August 12 and yet we haven’t had another and I just want another one so so badly
The Myriad Celestia Trailers are outright carrying in terms of giving us the HSR lore and I need another one soon because I need more content to lose my mind over. And when I am y’know manifesting this Myriad Celestia Trailer, I want it to be one of two things
Either 1) I want it to be about Fu Xuan after already having her banner (which admittedly is much less likely out of the options given when the Kafka/Stellaron Hunters one dropped, it was only 5ish days after her trailer and Fu Xuan’s was dropped 10 days ago from today) specifically centering around her calling upon a certain Aeon if any of yall have read into her lore because h o l y f u c k or
2) I want one meant to be tied to Jingliu to follow her banner and release which y’know is coming soon. It can be specifically about JUST Jingliu (c o u g h maybe a lil Baiheng content too even then) which y’know her status wasn’t to scoff at OR OR OOOH if not her status on the Luofu then delving into what happened on the Xianzhou ship she used to call home, or (what I kind of would like a little more because more content of ALL of them esp baiheng-) it being a myriad celestia trailer that ends up being dedicated to just lore of the entire High Cloud Quintet, bonus if it’s being told like an old heroes tale being recounted by storytellers which I think would also fit with Jingliu’s release not only for the fact that she was obviously in the HCQ but also due to the fact that certain things seem to suggest coming with her in 1.4 is specifically quite a bit more of HCQ lore so
Of course, maybe we will be starved of Myriad Celestia trailers for a bit, but I love them and the style they have been presenting information in especially for the Xianzhou ships so far and I want another one before we completely move on from the Xianzhou for now :’D
I mean maybe they’ll end up saving the next Myriad Celestia specifically for once we leave the Luofu again to not overflood with just those trailers but like,,, I want more, i NEED more. The style they’ve used for specifically the Xianzhou ones is so *chefs kiss*
I dont want to think about the likelihood of it being Belabog (i forgot if thats how its spelled help) given the main quest because I want the next one to be for the Xianzhou so badly, like please even if its not tied to Jingliu, imagining Fu Xuan getting some lore drop in one would be amazing for me (but again probably unlikely given how late it is into her release)
