Since Ken joins before Shinji does, what was Ken’s reaction to seeing Yukari’s shadow form for the first time? (Since I’m guessing it was his first encounter with a wereshadow since the incident)

since Ken moves into the dorms even before he's fully initiated into SEES, has the Dark Hour potential, and obviously knows more than he's letting on to his senpai, there's no way he *doesn't* secretly stumble into Yukari's shadow form at some point first and then has to pretend to be surprised once they draft him into the team and "explain" things to him hahah

Yukari can immediately tell that he's obviously and extremely uncomfortable around her, but has nothing to chalk it up to other than "hahahhaha well it's obviously because i'm so horrible and disgusting and kids are really honest about that stuff!!!! ^_T" and goes to great pains to stay out of his way. Ken, meanwhile, for the sake of enacting his vengeance, really, really needs to believe that were-shadows aren't even a little bit human, they're dangerous beasts that deserve to be put down--but being in such constant close proximity to one, both on and off the battlefield, gets his resolve wavering, and that's even before Shinjiro joins the crew too.

How would you rewrite Persona 3 (/portable) if the party members (aside from the protag) joined in reverse order?

In this case, you start off with your chosen MC, Shinji and Ken. Afterwards, you get Koromaru, Aigis, Mitsuru (battle), Fuuka, Akihiko, Junpei and Yukari in that order. (Metis is not included cause the answer’s more of a sequel than an extention like the golden/royal exclusive content is, if that makes sense).

How would this change P3’s story, assuming their backstories remain the same?

How generally long is yukaris snake half actually?

Imagining yukari and Mitsuru cuddling and Mitsuru is almost completely smothered lol

Oh uh also, is there any reason why Mitsuru is freaky about Yukaris wereshadow form? Or is that just for silliness:)

man this is always the Killer Question with naga/lamia body plans, isn't it...for one thing, they're so hard to consistently draw at the same size, and secondly, I'll often want to exaggerate the size of her coils for the sake of a cropped drawing, but if I mentally pull back the "camera" i'm like whoooaaaa oh no that looks totally crazy and disproportionate...... but for Hard Numbers that feel the best, I think she's about 18-20 feet (6-6.5 meters) fully laid out, a little shorter when "standing" (which, side note, she could obviously raise herself up to just about any height, but I think subconsciously favors trying to stay at the same eye level as her human form.) not actually even as long as some of the largest recorded anacondas or reticulated pythons here on our wonderful planet earth!--but quite a bit thicker than them.

re: the second question...haha, you cut me to the quick, I'm always like "gee, ONE of these days I guess I should plot out some kind of monster/human ship where the human party ISN'T a down-to-clown monsterfucker from the get-go and has to slowly warm up to accepting their partner's appearance"...but hey, that's not what i'm here for on this blog, and. listen. you can't tell me I don't always pick the characters who WOULD be the most enthusiastic and overt freaks about it. thinking it over I was like "hmmm Mitsuru's the one who's been completely immersed in Shadows and Tartarus and the Dark Hour since early childhood, like, that HAS to have some long-running psychosexual repercussions, right. like this is the only thing she knows how to be into," but maybe that's a little too Freudian. (and this is PERSONA, motherfucker!!!! we're JUNGIAN here!!!! take that shit back to EVANGELION!!!!!!) perhaps she just likes the simple things.
