the fact that (almost) the first thing kris does after yeeting their soul at noelle's house is go play piano for a while is breaking me. like, they miss it. and they can't play it when the player controls them, so the only way to access one of their few hobbies, one of the few things that make them happy (also one of the few things they have left of dess since it's implied she was the one who played the piano in holidays' house) is to violently and painfully claw their soul out of themselves is brutal

State of the chapter

I'm just letting anyone who cares know that the next chapter has 10 complete scenes and 5,500 words so far, and I'm nowhere near finished with it. This will be a long one again, people...

I'll be posting the final comic of Heart-eaters today, as well as putting the full anthology up for sale. I can't help but feel like I should apologise for doing this in a time of so much grief and strife. But this comic final comic (and the anthology it's included in) will generate funds I'll be donating directly to aid on the ground in Gaza. Also, last night, I was genuinely considering deleting You Right because, honestly, I don't think it's a good representation of my work, and I don't love it. But I decided to sleep on it, and now I'm not sure. If I deleted it I’d give y'all the Google Doc link for those who want to save it, but I might delete it off my master list. Let me know if you feel strongly. I'm indecisive.

A Quick Note on Asks

Hi lovely people!

I've not really posted on guidelines on the type of asks I will answer and what I will not and thought I'd just share some guidelines for those who are new or those wondering what's okay to send in. I've recently gotten a string of weird, very detailed scenario asks which were something I didn't feel comfortable answering, so here's a list of what will be answered going forward.

I will answer:

Scenario type questions: As long as they revolve around the characters and the game world. I don't mind AU type scenarios or random stuff that won't occur in the game, but anything that doesn't fit the character or is a little hard for me as the writer to even imagine for the characters will be disregarded.

NSFW questions: I don't mind smutty questions and most of what's been asked doesn't bother me. What I don't particularly enjoy answering is any kink, fetish or BDSM asks (mild stuff is okay), but more than not, I probably won't answer them.

Character questions: Anything to do with the ROs, family etc is fine. Just please make sure there isn't any inc!st or pseudo-inc!st type asks (which I've already deleted a few).

Plot questions: Anything that you want to know about in the plot, game world or general lore, feel free to ask about it.

Hypothetical scenarios: Things that didn't happen in the game or likely won't happen, but you're curious to know how the characters would react are fine to send in.

Anything that goes beyond the scope of the game will be ignored, especially things that make me uncomfortable. I'm also quite behind on asks, so if you've sent in something in the past few months that hasn't been answered, know that I will eventually get to it.

I was giving Dariax's wiki a look for his bard class (which he hasn't developed yet) and found this:

Deni$e and Dariax have a notable age difference, since, even though both of them are adults, he is around 30, while she is probably over a century.

They proceed to link a video of Aimee in the 4sd describing Deni$e as middle-aged (which kinda tracks with the art? imo) and a moment from Kymal pt2 where Dariax says that the Chroma Conclave was before his time, therefore he was told about it by his parents, which at that point in the story was around 30 years prior.
