Tonight this incredible, wonderful, smart, brave, empathic little girl goes to sleep as an 8 year old and will wake up a 9 year old. I say this all the time but, where did all this time go? It feels like yesterday she was a baby. The most gorgeous baby in the world. Jet black hair, red lips and pale skin. She was my little snow white. Watching her grow into the magnificent little girl has been everything to me. Every hug, kiss, cuddle and I love you is a cherished memory. I told a friend of mine while watching inside out together that so many memories my kids will forget, little moments, are my core memories. the parts I will never forget and will hold dear forever. Kaylynns chubby baby hands holding me, the way she smells, her goofy smile, the way she runs to me after school and says 'mammmmmy!" The way her body feels next to mine as we cuddle. Or the times she holds my hand. She is my best friend, my person. She made me the Mommy that I am and helped shape the person I am. I am so thankful for my child. I can't believe I am lucky enough to be your mom. I love you, kid.
