That’s right, it’s another Gravity Falls OC (there’s too many blorbos in my house help me)
Tumblr media
This is Isha. She’s Pacifica’s best friend who always follows her around. They’ve known eachother since they were 7.
Back in 2007, Pacifica’s nanny brought her to a playground because she begged her parents day and night to go. There, she tried to play with the other kids but no one liked her because they thought she was a spoiled brat. Only one kid wanted to play with her, and that was Isha. She invited her to the sandbox but Pacifica knew her parents would get mad if they found her dirty and covered in sand so she only watched as Isha built a cool sand castle. While she did this, the girls both talked about eachother’s lives. Pacifica learned that Isha was poor and her family lives and works in a farm where they tend to cattle and crops. When the nanny told Pacifica it was time to leave, she said goodbye to her new friend and left feeling satisfied.
At home, Pacifica told her parents all about Isha and how she wanted to see her everyday and play with her. At first, Preston and Priscilla couldn’t care less and often ignored her, they realized that their daughter was never going to shut up. So, they decided to contact Isha’s family and being the fucking piece of shit he is, Preston actually tries to BUY Isha. Yeah, you heard that right. Isha’s older brother, Vander, angrily told Preston that you can’t just buy a person and after like 10 minutes of arguing, Preston comes to a compromise and tells the family that they can work at the Northwest Manor if they want to look after Isha.
The first thing Preston and Priscilla do when Isha and her family get there is to change them all into more… “presentable” clothing. They put Vander and Isha’s father into butler outfits, Isha’s mother in a maid outfit, and made Isha share a closet with Pacifica. The latter is very ecstatic to have her friend here, and things slowly mellow out in the next 5 years.
Over that time, Pacifica grows nasty, rude, and spoiled to please her parents but her friendship with Isha never wavers. Whenever they go out with Pacifica’s girl posse, she always makes sure to get Isha the second best of whatever there is to offer.
In Double Dipper, Isha meets Mabel, Candy, and Grenda, and doesn’t like how Pacifica treats them. When she’s not looking, she quickly apologizes to the girls and earns their friendship.
She keeps her new friends a secret from Pacifica until the Golf War, in which Isha is forced to help out Mabel when the Lilliputians try to kill her. Pacifica feels betrayed but ends up forgiving her in the end.
She returns in Northwest Manor Mystery, where she accompanies Pacifica and Dipper to hunt down Archibald. There, her past is revealed and Pacifica had no idea that her father tried to buy her best friend and feels terrible.
Their friendship remains as strong as ever, stretching out to Weirdmageddon where Isha sacrifices herself for Pacifica, being turned into stone. At the end of the series, Isha is back to normal and her family quit their jobs now that they have enough money to support themselves. Pacifica keeps in touch with Isha and talks to her everyday.

gravity falls sims headcanons because why not!
heavily inspired by @youcausedweirdmageddon ‘s minecraft headcanons post
dipper: mostly plays sims 2 but will occasionally dip into the other games in the franchise. very much into the lore and storyline type stuff, either crafting his own stories or figuring out the ones for premade sims. has played the fuck out of strangerville. goes through the hyperfixation cycle of forgetting sims exists for a month and then spending 14 hours on it.
mabel: HUGE custom content folder, maybe even makes her own. spends most of her time in create a sim. gets extremely sad if anything bad happens to her sims. also tries to make stories, but they’re “boring” because she refuses to make her sims do anything bad/mean.
wendy: total opposite of mabel, her sims’ lives are always chaos. probably has the extreme violence mod and basemental drugs. playing sims helped her figure out that she likes girls.
soos: not super into sandbox games, but he liked minecraft so he gave it a shot. mostly just plays his simself and wishes it had multiplayer.
melody: has been playing for forever. great at building. helped mabel teach soos how to play. showed mabel and dipper all the cheat codes.
stan: doesn’t understand the appeal of video games that aren’t just digital card games. mabel showed him the sims she made of everyone and he was kind of disturbed but impressed.
ford: i’m convinced if you put ford in front of sims with no instructions he would immediately become one of those people with a bunch of “painting slaves” in their basement. yk that tweet that’s like “i know wtf is in your heart i saw you create a ghetto in animal crossing” ? that’s ford. i don’t have anything against him i promise i’m just speaking my truth. he’d also get a kick out of challenges.
gideon: probably doesn’t play many video games, maybe made himself and mabel as adults and had them get married. as he gets older and becomes more normal he might look into it because mabel likes it so much, but it’s just not his kinda game. he might like create a sim?
robbie: probably elitist about video games, but played sims 2 when he was younger and loved it.
pacifica: i’m pretty sure she’s canonically really good at video games. she’s done a bunch of challenges and is generally pretty cracked at it. has all the packs. likes mods. makes alpha sims. she *also* figured out that she likes girls by playing sims at a young age.

Sunny I hate to make the inbox blow up like a shaving cream factory but I had the cutest little thoughts for Baby Mears and I need to scream (lol).
Alot of Baby Matthew's toys were hand-me-downs from some of the people in your household, but you could tell they had been shown alot of love over the years. Two of them had been Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls that Ben had found in the sandbox at the park and took home, cleaned off and had been given a little TLC. Nolly Gardiner had called his father down in Boston and he gave Baby Matthew his little teddy bear in his police uniform (Nolly's dad was a Boston PD officer for 40 something years). Father Callahan was a little embarrassed when Mrs. Curless found the little elephant stuffie he had as a small child and Parkins still had all his old school Tonka truck toys his sister sent down from Kittery.
Mabel had found all her little pull-rope animals that her grandmother had brought from Germany. Granted the wheels were a little bit squeaky, but other than that, they were perfect. Her favorite had been a little horse she had named "Misty".
Eva had found some old baseball things that had been hers when she was younger. She always used to go to Red Sox games with her father and she even had a little baseball cap she used to wear when she and her neighborhood hooligans used to go and play (whenever it was girls vs. boys she and her girlfriends used to pretend they were the Rockford Peaches, lol).
Mike Ryerson and his wife Lucy had a bet going. If it was a boy, Mike would give him his little Eeyore stuffie from when he was a baby, but if it was a girl, Lucy was gonna give her the china dolls that her great grandma had brought from Ireland. Mike won the bet and his dad sent him the box that had all his stuff in it. The stuffie was in perfect condition along with Mike's baby quilt, but it still smelled like his dad's Hai Karate and Old Spice (lol).
Corey found a bunch of his old blocks in his gram's attic, but Bonnie kind of cried when she found her older brother's box of GI Joes (Parkins grabbed them for her from the house after Reggie went to jail and the divorce papers went through for Bonnie). Her older brother had always let her play with them and kinda laughed when she married them to her Barbies growing up. Now that she was giving them to Baby Matthew, it had an extra special meaning.
Matt Burke had a bunch of "Classic Starts For Kids" since he was always a book nerd growing up. But if anything, he had a little Lowly Worm in an apple that fit perfectly on the dresser. His aunt had made it and gave it to him as a birthday present.
Dahling if you want me to keep going later on I gladly will (lol).
Baby Mears is so spoiled! In elementary school kids try to tease him about his hand me downs and how he doesn’t own anything knew but Matthew Mears isn’t easy to tear down. He was basically raised by a coven of monster hunters lol.
He doesn’t argue when people say things about his clothes or his toys, he just knows they were once loved and he’s loved enough to be given so many important things.

Rick and Morty: A Way Back Home is best erogame don't @ me.
I'm not putting in screenshots or overtly spoiling the "elements" of this game, but I'll talk a little bit about it.
This parody erogame from Ferdafs follows Morty as he is dumped in another dimension by his Rick in an effort for him to gain confidence, but as he settles himself in the place of that dimension's Morty, he learns that having "encounters" with other girls is what is apparently making him gain that confidence, so he continues doing so in the eventual hope that his Rick will come back for him. In addition to Beth, Summer and Jerry, Morty is joined by a Rick exiled from another dimension and his Morty, a female one named Morticia (from the Pocket Mortys mobile game).
Throughout the game, Morty also has encounters with other girls such as Tricia Lange, Jessica, Reka (a background character whose name was revealed to be Grace Smith in the Rick and Morty Character Guide), Nancy, Jerry's girlfriend Kiara, Unity, the Gazorpians, a female Rick and even Planetina (an update literally had a full adaptation of that episode as her route). Later, he is also joined by Wild Summer from a Cronenberged dimension and Space Beth.
I like how this game replicates the art style of the original show, but there are some clothing-related continuity errors in some scenes if you know what I mean. In the five years this game has been released, there are so many scenes and routes that Ferdafs probably forgot to address the main arc of the story, which is Morty going home to his dimension. It has been briefly addressed in recent updates, but nothing significant has come of it as of yet.
This game was built in Unity and it uses a sandbox VN format that involves progressing in routes by going to different locations and earning money (by working for Rick) that is only useful for buying story-related items from the Devil's shop. A fan known as Night Mirror has created a remake of the game in Ren'Py called Another Way Home, eliminating the sandbox format and combining all the routes into a linear story while also expanding on scenes and creating original ones as well. For example, the Halloween party event adds Morticia in the Ren'Py version, with her and Morty being dressed as Mabel and Dipper from Gravity Falls, whereas in the Unity version, Morticia is not seen at the party and Morty is merely wearing a Vindicator vest. The animations were made using Live2D in the Unity game, but they were screen recorded into .webm files in Ren'Py due to lacking native support on Mac and Android.
So why am I making a post about this particular erogame? Because Ferdafs has recently gone AWOL with no updates since May. Updates used to come out monthly, then bi-monthly and now, every three months. Last year however, Ferdafs was apparently undergoing arm surgery and making a recovery, but it's been nearly a year since then and updates to the game were released even if they were three months apart. If Ferdafs doesn't make an announcement by November, then Night Mirror is slated to begin the endgame of the Ren'Py version, though if Ferdafs does make new content then the endgame will presumably be deferred. Let's just hope we get something at some point.

for maggie, one of my loves
it’s a gravity falls thing
@magraithepeachyguy
Mason “Dipper” Pines was by no means a tough guy. He accepted this about himself. He loved seventies disco bands. His voice, despite being in his twenties now, cracked and squeaked like an old hinge. He couldn’t grow a full beard.
He was probably the least threatening dude ever.
Dipper just had a hard time convincing other people of that, sometimes. They see the muscles and the bruises and scrapes( he wrestles with supernatural creatures on a regular basis! It’s not like he’s looking for trouble or getting in bar fights!), the knife strapped at his waist (handy in the woods, and blessed by his sister with protective runes carved into the handle), and the tattoos.
Well, ok. The tattoos were kind of badass.
He was always good at art, drawing things. Learning different sigils and seals and runes had come easily for him. It seemed only natural to translate them to ink, to cover himself in protection and safety. Sure, it hurt, and maaaaaybe he cried a little the first time, but it was worth it to know his mind was his, definitely, forever.
Not that Bill would ever come back. He was gone for good. But Bill wasn’t the only monster in the universe, and Dipper always did err on the side of caution. The tattoos swirled over his arms, across his shoulders, some down his back, one on his ankle. They whispered protection and safety and charms through his skin.
He was kinda inordinately proud of them.
After that, it was pretty easy to start doing designs for his friends, or around town. Good way to make some cash. And it was only a small step from that to actually working at the local parlor.
Dipper enjoyed the work. He got to see sides of people he hadn’t expected. Also he knew Robbie had a skull tramp stamp now, which. He will probably snicker about forever. Still, he was a bit surprised when Pacifica Northwest scheduled an appointment with him.
When he thinks about it, maybe he shouldn’t have been.
She had left her birth family behind a long time ago, and she’d only grown better for it. When she left for law school no one had really expected her to come back, but here she was, poised and collected as ever. Backbone of pure ice. Dressed to, if not the nines, at least the eight-and-a-halfs.
“Sup, loser.”
Pacifica, at least, had never even come close to thinking he was tough.
“Could ask you the same, weirdo.”
She beamed at him, and he pulled her into a quick hug.
“Alright, alright. Careful, Pines, your wrinkle my shirt as bad as your reputation.”
He snorted and squeezed her harder before letting go.
“What, for hugging a pretty girl? If anything, my street cred just rocketed.”
She rolled her eyes and sat in one of the chairs.
“What’s up, man? Didn’t take you for someone who wanted ink.”
“A girl can have layers. And I hear you’re pretty handy with protective stuff. Like. Useful things.”
“Yeah, that’s my specialty. Been talking to Mabel, then?”
“Of course. I told her about some problems I’ve been having at the new place, and she pointed me towards you.”
He nodded and got out his sketchpad.
“Go on.”
Her house had been haunted, and while she performed the exorcism herself, she worried about lingering negative energies that had been affecting her and her work. Bad luck, anxiety, trouble sleeping. She wanted something for good luck and calm, which was probably useful for a lawyer anyway.
“I want something simple, but stylish. And it can’t be anywhere obvious, a lot of rich morons hesitate to hire a female lawyer, especially one with tatts.”
He nodded, jotting down a few concepts and starting a rough sketch.
“Something like this?”
“Yeah, but maybe with a bit more flair?”
Dipper nodded, tweaking the design.
“Perfect.”
He grinned at the praise. It felt good to help out a friend, and getting a compliment from the great Pacifica Northwest was a rare gift. She may have come far from who she used to be, but she still had pretty high standards.
They went over the basics, hashed out the where and the when, and decided to get it done the following week.
“Good seeing you again. Feels like it’s been forever!”
“Dipper. I was literally at your house last weekend. Mabel cheated at Monopoly. When you called her out Waddles started eating the game board.”
“Yeah, but-”
“While you were distracted yelling at the pig Mabel switched all the game pieces and you gave up and started pouting.”
“I wasn’t pouting! I was- I was glowering! Yeah! Glowering! In a very manly, and grown up manner!”
“About a board game.”
His face flushed with embarrassment and she cackled.
“Oh, Dipper. Never change, sweetie.”
“Whatever,” he muttered, pou-glowering. He was glowering.
Pacifica rose from her seat, still grinning.
“I’ll see you around, nerd. Now I gotta go. Your sister promised me free samples and like hell am I missing out on a free mille-feuille.”
“Tell her I say hi.”
She nodded and fluttered her fingers in a wave good-bye out the door.
Pausing, she turned and stared hard at him, head tilted and eyes considering.
“What,” he asked nervously, fingers starting to twitch with his pencil.
“Candy was right. You did get kinda cute.”
He could feel his face heat to a burning red, and tried to stammer out a response as she laughed and left him to his humiliation. Dipper sighed, rubbing his thumb over the rune for focus on his wrist.
And some people thought he was a tough guy.
Ridiculous.

sleepless in millrock
It started in a small town near Seattle. River Sato and Mabel Hearst were thick as thieves, completely inseparable. They always spent their nights together, and their parents had believed they were the siblings neither of them ever had. There was something innocent about their playful souls, even into high school they were still the same kids who played in the sandbox together. They were soulmates, they said. Soulmates aren’t always lovers, they said.
She told him first, when she kissed a girl behind the bleachers. She told their parents at the same time. The two of them baked a rainbow cake and frosted it in white. When Mabel’s mother cut into the cake they all laughed as the fifteen year old jumped up to exclaim she was gay. “I thought the girls usually had the gay best friend.” They would tease, they would laugh. They were happy. A happy little family, the six of them.
They were only seventeen when their worlds fell apart. It was the summer after graduation, they'd already picked their schools, were ready to go. They just wanted to spend their last weeks together. It would have been the perfect summer had things not exploded in their face. There had been disappearances all over town, the town was getting quiet. Hopeless. Miserable. The Sato-Hearst family -- as their children had dubbed them -- tried to keep their heads up. Until the morning the two woke up to an empty home.
River’s parents were gone. The two searched and screamed and tried to call them. The lines were dead. Keep calling. Keep calling. Their bikes couldn't take them to Mabel’s house quick enough. The only living being inside her home was her kitten, Mittens. They cried. The two of them, holding the kitten in between them as they sobbed.
“What do we do?” “What no one else has. We figure this out.”
Mabel had made up her mind. The pair split up, wasting no time packing a few bags and throwing them in the trunk of Mabel’s car. “Where are we going?” “Everywhere.” The plan wasn't very good. Just two kids and their cat, trying to solve the biggest mystery of their life. They broke into the sheriff's office -- but did it really count if they had all already disappeared? -- and pulled all the files that had been collected. They made their own for their families.
The nation had plenty of weird things to look into. They managed to solve all of them they looked into -- even if some people didn't want to believe the answers they found. The world was weird, ghosts were real, and honestly? Aliens probably were too. Just accept it and move on. Their blog was getting popular though, maybe they'd write a book someday. Get a movie gig. Mittens was instagram famous. It was the little things that kept them going.
They rarely slept, Mabel drove and River played the ukulele. They ran on coffee and energy drinks -- and in River’s case a few shots of tequila throughout the day. Mittens ate better than they did, slept better too. They bought a mystery machine bumper sticker as a joke. It was more true than not. They were three years in when they went back home. It was empty save for one person. “I'm the last one here, kids.” “Why didn't you leave?” “The town’s not done with me yet.”
Mabel had never drove that quickly. It was late one stormy night that they managed to catch a rant about a creepy town called Millrock on the radio. “We could solve that one. Maybe it'll answer ours.” “What if it's a dead end?” “Then maybe at least we fixed their problem. If we didn't, then it was something to do.”
So they went. The hotel was creepy and Mittens didn't want to sleep in it, so they made their car into their house and made the most of it. It's not like either of them tended to sleep anyway. They had work to do. They weren't going to sleep until they got the answers.

Note
Okay so I'm kind of new to this Transcendence AU thing and I really want to know what's happening and who's who so I'm really really sorry to bug you but can you explain what thus AU is about?? Sorry!!😥😥
Just check out the summary and bios pages!
This AU is pretty much an open sandbox with a set of guidelines and major plot points, much like tabletop RPGs. There are constants and important info in the summary, and character relevant info of the most common characters in the bios. The core of the story revolves around the canon characters, but a lot of people have made branching side-stories involving OCs!
You don’t have to know anything besides the core information in the summary and bios pages to get the gist of most fics out there.
A lot of them are tiny, self-contained arcs that can be very ambiguous when it happens in the timeline. Which is very easy to follow, since the timeline itself can be divided into two major sections: during Mabel’s lifetime and Dipper is a young fledgling demon with familiar characters and a modern setting--and after Mabel’s lifetime, which each story creates its own setting as to how far in the future it is (how technology has changed, how stable Dipper is at the time, etc).
Hope this helps, and welcome to TAU!

Phil took Gaya and Cyces to the sandbox to play.
Incendio was happy to sit on Mabel’s lap, playing with his new lion.
Summertime Fun
@ninja-of-energy
Summer had finally returned to Gravity Falls, and it brought a great joy. Mabel & Phil’s three triplets were born. All of Gravity Falls was in great celebration.
And of course, the ninja had to be invited to meet them. Dipper also extended an invite to spend the summer as well.

An awesome GF fiction.
http://archiveofourown.org/works/11149953
This fiction has just so much detail, and real emotion that is spoke to me. Most of you know that I neglect writing posts and such, and that I’ve been mia for a while too. But this author has created a fiction that deserves so much more.
You can literally feel what these characters are feeling, and yes. It’s a little tragic, full of angst, and a traumatic event. But, isn’t that what most of us crave? It has fluffy moments, and I have a feeling more will follow.
So, give this author a chance, comment for him. Show him that people do care about more than smut. Show him that as readers, we appreciate a well written story.
Come Into My Cocoon With Me
                       By: BigDiesel1989
Summary:
Mabel has been a victim of an incident that retreated her into a childlike state. No longer can handle her unpredictably volatile nature, her parents find excuses to escape the burden, leaving Dipper alone with his sister. Dipper has difficulty finding solace because of her past history with him. Will he able to overcome the burden of Mabel's mistakes to move forward for her sake?
Notes:
Hey, guys. This is going to be a short story about Dipper (known as simply Big Brother) and Mabel (known as Younger Sister) as they go through their trials and tribulations of loneliness, despair, recovery, and hope. This story is going to be bittersweet, but at the same leaving you in a sense of awe and wonder.
Chapter 1
: CocoonChapter Text
It hurts to write this as it does telling it. Propelling the synapses from your brain, sending energy to come into your mind. Even as I am writing it, the images appear every time I hit a keystroke. So, I should say that it hurts every time I am typing this. I don't get along with the times. We don't share the common playground with others. I am like the chubby kid that rest easily on the sandbox while others are playing their fun game. I want to play. I want to join, but unable because of my heavy stature. I just get in the way.
Just get in the way.
It hurts to write this as it does telling it. Seeing a rope wrapped delicately around your neck, but do not have the slightest clue where is its origin. You continue trailing the rope and go and go and go. By that time, you have to carry a heavy bundle of nylon. And you still can't find the source of the rope. It never ends. It never goes away. You become heavy. Crying as you can't find the source. Your tongue becomes heavy, slurring like an alcoholic fiending for a drink. Well, at least the drink can null, I mean numb the pain. Especially when you are continuing to look for the source.
I speak for those who can't speak. Because there are many like me who are carrying the burden. It is not easy.
It is not easy when the burden is not yours.
I speak for my sister. I speak for her because she does want not to speak. I speak for her because of her ability to speak who blindly taken away by someone who urged her not to speak. I am sorry, who forced her not to speak.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. January, February, March. Don't let me get any further than that. I just lost count on how long she has confined herself to her room.

BillDip Week 2017 – Spring Fever, Day 4: Date in the Park
I know that Dipper’s and Bill’s parents (at least in AU's) are almost not very present in the fanfics, so I decided to write some of them in this one.
Notes and Warnings: Kids AU, Maritza Cipher (OC), Rachel Pines (OC), Our-mothers-are-friends Trope. Kinda A/B/O world, but not yet because they still children and if I think, the test (or something where it's said about your a/b/o – I'm still trying to understand this AU, dudes!) don't arrive until they are 12 – 13 years old
He’s (will be) mine!
Maritza Cipher saw herself once again in the mirror of her car, her blond hair in a bun, the eyeliner was still in place, her lipstick still didn’t disappear; Taking her purse and checking that she was carrying the necessary, car keys, house keys, keys to her work, pepper sprayer, Bill's favorite yogurt, a good book to pass the time, some sunscreen, because never it's too much to care for those you love.
The beta woman turned to look in the backseats and smiled at her five-year-old son, “Ready to have fun on your first day at the park?”
Bill, who was more entertaining playing with his stuffed toys, looked up and nodded cheerfully.
Mother and son got out of the car and walked to the park, with Bill taking his mother's hand and watching all around him. There were several trees around the town where his family had moved, it was a bit more different than in England but something didn’t seem to change in this town and it was almost cloudy over them.
Maritza let go of Bill's hand when she saw a seat in the park and several children's games. “See? The same games. Things didn't change at all.” Maritza patted Bill's back and let her son walk on his own to the games while she took a seat and read her book but also watched Bill.
Bill saw the children running and jumping, most of them younger than him but he also saw a few older children swinging. The five-year-old shrugged and decided to go to the slides when he saw a pair of twins building castles in the sandbox.
“Maritza?”
The aforementioned turned around to hear her name and found a woman with brown hair the same age. “Rachel?”
The brown woman, Rachel, smiled, “I didn’t think it was you, I haven’t seen you in a long time, maybe eight years, so I was afraid I was wrong. What are you doing here in Gravity Falls?” Rachel sat down on the bench beside her.
“William and I got a job in Portland and moved in here. What are you doing here? I thought you were going back to California after you graduated from college.”
Maritza and Rachel hadn’t seen each other in years, they had met in the college thanks to the fact that both faculties, medicine and psychology, were so close. However after graduating Maritza married William, who is a beta and archaeologist to move to Egypt, where Bill was born, and then they moved to England, where Maritza's parents lived. While the last thing she knew of Rachel, her omega friend, was that she was dating a boy named Jonathan, an alpha, and they were planning to move to California, since both were originally from the place.
“I moved six years ago with Jonathan – Yes, I married him. I thought you and William were still hunting mummies.” Rachel scoffed, and both women laughed.
“Now I just have to hunt the right salary, Rachel. We have a son, his name is Bill.”
“I also have children. Twins. Double work, sometimes. They are Dipper and Mabel.”
“Well, Bill counts as five kids and his attitude doesn’t help most times.”
“Hi.” Bill said to the two twins, both children looked up to see the new boy who had approached them. “Can I play with you?” Both twins looked at each other and nodded, letting Bill sit beside them, “I’m Bill.” His mother said that it was always important to introduce themselves when they met new people, obviously Bill didn’t do it but now it seemed a good opportunity to try and have new friends, it’s not as if there in England he would have had.
“Mabel.” The female twin said cheerfully, she wore what Bill could describe as hot pink, two braids with many brightly colored bands for her hair.
“Dipper.” The other twin responded, his voice lower than his sister and a curious little red nose, perhaps the child had a fever, as he also wore a green jacket and a blue wool cap.
“What weird names.” Bill said as he took a bucket of sand.
“Bill is weird, too.” The boy named Dipper commented.
“Hey, it's a very popular name in England – Well it's not a name, it's William Jr. but my family tells me Bill not to confuse me with my father. Besides, I won't be a junior forever.”
“Oh gosh!” Mabel jumped excitedly, “Did you live in a castle? Did you fight with a dragon? Did you rescued a princess? Are you a king?”
“Mabel.” Dipper scolded his twin sister quietly.
But Bill laughed, “I like your attitude, Shooting Star. No, no, no, but I hope to be someday.”
“You don't have to answer her.” Dipper also scolded the boy named Bill, if Mabel believed that Bill was a king or prince then she wanted to marry him and their parents had made him promise to protect his sister, no matter what they turned out to be at the end – Things were backwards, though.
Bill arched an eyebrow and an idea popped out, “Oh, of course, I don’t have to, I haven’t yet managed to rescue a princess.”
Mabel's eyes flashed like stars and her smile widened, but Dipper rolled his eyes and was about to say something when he felt Bill put his arm on his cap.
“So what do you say, Pine Tree? Do I rescue you from the dragon now?”
“What?!” Both twins were surprised.
“I bet it's not easy to live with Shooting Star, she’s going to be a noisy omega.” Bill smiled at the face that Shooting Star had, “She’s a difficult dragon so as the future king of Gravity Falls, and alpha, it’s my duty to rescue the princess.”
“Hey! I’m not – ” Dipper was going to complain but then Mabel took a step, standing between him and Bill.
“No, that's not the story! If dragons are guardians of the princess and I am one then I am Dipper’s guardian and you must be a very bad king – It’s also the princes who save the princesses, not kings.”
“Yes, but for the princes it must be more difficult, that’s why kings are stronger, and the princes are far from being king.”
They began to debate while Dipper didn’t know if he should get in to take Mabel's hand and get away from Bill but when he saw his sister’s angry look and Bill's sly look, though the blond boy was beginning to seem annoyed, Dipper feared entering the battlefield so it was best to go for his mother and have her solve this.
That's what Dipper was thinking when his two hands were taken by Mabel’s and Bill’s and both children started pulling him.
“I am the dragon, so I am going to protect him!” Mabel yelled as she pulled Dipper to her side.
“I am the king who will save the princess!” Bill also shouted and also pulled Dipper to his side.
Not one of them seemed to give in and Dipper just had an idea to stop this. “Mom!”
When Maritza and Rachel approached what they saw was Mabel and Bill pulling Dipper while the middle child tried to resist.
“Bill!”
“Mabel!”
Both Moms scolded the children and made Mabel and Bill release Dipper, Mabel quickly ran to Dipper's side before Bill dared to do something like steal him from her side, although Maritza was already holding her son's hand.
“I want him!” Bill begged his mother, “I'm supposed to be a king and I'm going to rescue a princess.” Maritza looked with a perplexed glance at her son.
“Mama, I'm Dipper's guardian, I must be by his side forever.” Mabel insisted and Rachel could only think about what might have caused this childish mess.
How did a children's game cause all this?

Subject: Valentine's Day plans
Hey!
I actually have a date for Valentine's Day this year! My first one ever, actually. Unless you count the time in kindergarten where Lenny Hall and I shared mud pies in the sandbox, but it wasn't really a date. I think he even ditched me.
Anyway! I don't really know what to get him, so any advice would be super awesome. Do boys like flowers? I could make a flower crown. Or make homemade chocolates. What are you guys doing for Valentine's Day?
See all messages in this thread (Expand)
Wendy Corduroy: Valentine's Day is endorsed by overpriced greeting card companies, chocolate factories and fancy restaurants who serve a quarter of the food you should get for those stupid prices. It's all a gimmick.
Pacifica Northwest: Wow. Way to bring down a room.
Mabel Pines: Aw, come on Wendy. Haven't you ever celebrated Valentine's Day?
Wendy Corduroy: Nope. I normally spend it at home vegging out watching television or hanging out at the diner with the crew. Valentine's Day isn't really my thing.
Candy Chiu: Ooh, who will be your Valentine?
Grenda Gosling: Yeah! Have you been holding out on us?
Mabel Pines: His name is Jaxon and he just asked me at school today.
Wendy Corduroy: You gotta give us more than that. What's he like?
Pacific Northwest: Never mind that. What's he look like? What's his social status?
Wendy Corduroy: You always know how to ask the important questions, don't you?
Mabel Pines: He's been in my class since the fourth grade, but I've never really hung out with him. But he's always making jokes in class and he's funny. He does really well in history, he always drinks cherry cola and he's captain of the school soccer team.
Pacifica Northwest: Captain, huh? Not bad.
Candy Chiu: You are very lucky. I will be spending Valentine's Day practicing my violin.
Grenda Gosling: Marius and I are going to have dinner over video chat, but afterwards you and I can totally get some ice-cream.
Candy Chiu: I would like that very much. We will drown in sprinkles and whipped cream.
Grenda Gosling: Woo party time!
Pacifica Northwest: It's the middle of winter.
Candy Chiu: That makes ice-cream taste even better.
Mabel Pines: That sounds like fun! Maybe Jaxon and I will go get ice-cream after roller-skating.
Pacifica Northwest: He's taking you roller-skating on Valentine's Day. Is he cheap?
Wendy Corduroy: Not all of us are spoiled rotten children born into wealth.
Mabel Pines: And I have very little wealth, so I don't have much to spend on a Valentine's Day gift. I'd like to make one, but I'm not sure what.
Grenda Gosling: The chocolates are a good idea. You can make them into little soccer balls!
Candy Chiu: Does he have a team jacket?
Mabel Pines: Yeah, he does. He wears it all the time.
Candy Chiu: You could make a patch for it! You're very good at making those.
Mabel Pines: Hey, yeah, I could do that!
Wendy Corduroy: A patch is kind of personal for a first date. Maybe you should stick with the chocolates.
Pacifica Northwest: You probably won't scare him off that way.
Wendy Corduroy: Jocks are pretty particular on what goes on their team jackets, anyway. Athletes at my school won't let anyone touch them, let alone sew anything on the material.
Mabel Pines: I guess that's fair. I've seen him eating chocolates, so I know he likes them. Okay. I'll make them into cool shapes. They're going to take a bit to chill, and Valentine's Day is the day after tomorrow, so I better get started. Thanks guys!
Wendy Corduroy: Have fun, dude.
Candy Chiu: Let us know everything when you get home!
Grenda Gosling: No details left out!
Pacifica Northwest: Do not make your Valentine's Day dinner greasy canteen food. Seriously. You can do better than that.
Filling his blue reusable water bottle with strawberry-flavoured water, Dipper then stuck it in the front pocket of his backpack. Shrugging it over his shoulders, he shot a quick glance at the microwave clock before going in search of his sister. He quickly found her in their bedroom, sticking a pair of rollerblades in her already-bulging pink bag.
Dipper frowned. He could not help but be worried about Mabel's Valentine's date, considering how eager and quick she was to begin a romance. Though she was a little more cautious about the guys she pursued, she couldn't help but get excited when someone showed interest in her. He should be happy for her, considering this was her first Valentine's Day date, but there was an uneasy feeling in his stomach.
Jaxon wasn't exactly a friend of theirs—to be fair, they didn't really have friends at all in Piedmont. But the raven-haired thirteen-year-old hadn't ever bothered to interact with them outside of forced group work and partner projects, and there were only a few of those. Dipper was suspicious that suddenly, out of the blue, the soccer player had asked Mabel out.
But he couldn't bring himself to voice his concerns to Mabel. She would be hurt and there was a good chance he was just being paranoid. Mabel straightened, slouched slightly from the weight of her backpack, and she beamed when she realized he was standing there.
"Sorry, bro. Just had a few more things to squeeze in." She reached behind her and opened her nightstand drawer, retrieving a glitter-covered pink heart, where 'Happy Valentine's Day to the best brother ever' was written in bright red marker. "Happy Valentine's Day, Dipping-Dots," she sang, giving him a tight hug.
Dipper hugged her back just as tightly, accepting card when they separated. Warmth and affection swelled within him. "Thanks, Mabel. I love it. I have a gift for you, but I don't think it's going to arrive until later today."
"Ooh, a surprise! I love surprises." Mabel clapped her hands with glee. "I can't wait."
Dipper set his card carefully on his bed, not at all bothered by the silver, pink and red glitter that clung to his skin. "Come on, we better get going before we're late."
"I think I'll get there early enough to give Jaxon his present," said Mabel. "I hope he likes it."
"I'm sure he will."
If he knows what's good for him, he better.
The twins left the house, locking it up behind them and beginning the trek for school. They reached the brick building soon enough, and Mabel waved at her brother before splitting up to find Jaxon. She traversed through the halls, white sneakers with purple laces smacking against the scuffed speckled blue tiles.
If she came upon one of her classmates, she would pause and ask if they happened to know where he was. One of them directed her to the gym and she mentally smacked herself for not going there in the first place. Sure enough, when she stepped into the open space, there was a group of guys kicking the soccer ball around.
Jaxon happened to spot her as she ventured to the border of the lines painted on the hardwood floor. She waved at him and he seemed surprised for a moment before giving his head a slight shake. He jogged over and said casually, "Hey. What's up?"
"I just wanted to give you this before classes started." Mabel carefully extracted the white box of chocolates and handed it over. "Happy Valentine's Day."
"Oh. Uh, thanks. You too." Jaxon took the chocolates and tucked the box under one arm, shooting a glance at his friends, who were staring and snickering. "Listen, I gotta go change before class. But I'll see you after school. I'll meet you at the bike racks at the back entrance."
"Sure. I'm looking forward to it," said Mabel with a smile.
Jaxon lifted his hand in a half wave and went in the direction of the changing rooms. Mabel skipped back into the hall, humming lightly as she headed for class.
...
Footwear pounded against the floor as students of varying ages bustled down hallways, flooding towards the entrance as the last rings from the bell echoed throughout the building. Dipper stuck a few of his textbooks into his backpack and slammed his locker door shut.
"I guess I'll see you later," he spoke to his sister, who had her bag over one shoulder and her roller-skates over the other. "Text me when you get to the rink?"
Mabel flashed a thumbs-up. "You got it!"
"I'll see you later, then. Have fun."
"Thanks!"
Mabel skipped off down the hall, winding her way past her peers as she headed for the back entrance. As she approached an intersection in the corridor, she paused when she heard someone say, "Jax, want to go catch a movie?"
There was the sound of a vending machine rumbling and followed by a pop can hissing. Jaxon muttered shortly, "Can't."
"Yeah, didn't you hear?" Jaxon's friend and co-captain Zach snickered. "He's got a date tonight."
"Seriously? With who?"
"Mabel Pines," answered Zach with a laugh.
"Isn't she the girl always covered in glitter? Why her?"
"I lost a bet, okay?" snapped Jaxon. "I'd be taking Susan Shores if I could. She's probably already waiting for me. This really sucks."
Mabel went numb. She didn't hear what they said next, didn't want to hear, as blood pounded in her ears. Humiliation, anger and hurt boiled in her veins and her hands trembled at her sides. The three boys suddenly burst into laughter and she turned on her heel and stalked away, fingers clenching into fists. Tears burned her eyes but she scrubbed them away before they could fall. Jaxon and his stupid friends weren't worth her tears.
She walked home on autopilot, feet dragging against the concrete and mind screaming at her for being so foolish. How could she not have been suspicious when Jaxon approached her outside of class, for the first time ever, and asked her out? How she could have missed how unenthusiastic he seemed about it? His embarrassment when she went to him in front of his friends?
She supposed she was just excited at the prospect of having her first Valentine's Day date that she missed it.
Biting hard on her bottom lip, Mabel unlocked the front door of her house and shuffled through the hall, dropping her stuff by the shoes. Dipper poked his head out of the living room and his eyes widened when he saw her. "Mabel, what are you doing here? What about-?" He then took in her miserable expression and asked in concern, "What happened?"
"It was a bet," she said bitterly, slouching towards their shared bedroom. "I guess the loser had to take me out on Valentine's Day and Jaxon was the loser. I overheard them talking. I don't think they noticed me."
Rage ignited through Dipper's entire being. "I'll kill him."
"He's an arrogant jerk, but you shouldn't get in trouble over him." Mabel crawled into her bed, dragging the covers over her body. Waddles immediately hopped next to her and snuggled close. Peeking out of her makeshift cocoon at her hovering brother, Mabel said, "I'll be fine. I just need to be alone for a bit."
"If you want. You know you're beautiful, right? And super talented. And Jaxon is a moron for not knowing what a privilege it is to know you, how lucky he would be to get to go out with you."
"You're sweet." Mabel gave a small smile. "And I do know. I swear."
"Can I get you anything?"
"…a super sundae?"
"You got it," said Dipper. "Give me a sec."
He hurried for the kitchen, pausing at the sight of the pink and red floral arrangement on the table. It was Mabel's Valentine's present, having been on the doorstep when Dipper got home. Beneath the glittery purple vase was a pile of equally-glittery Valentine cards, which Dipper found stuffed in the mailbox.
His fist slammed into the smooth surface of the refrigerator. Dipper grit his teeth and took a moment to calm down. He would get his chance to confront Jaxon, but staying angry would not help his sister right now. Taking a deep breath, Dipper opened the freezer and removed two tubs of ice-cream, vanilla and chocolate. He got the biggest bowl they had and piled in the ice-cream until it was almost overflowing. He added a mountain of whipped cream and rainbow sprinkles, finishing it with drizzles of caramel sauce.
He was relieved to see the bedroom door still open when he returned and Mabel hadn't retreated to Sweater Town, which was a good sign. "Here," he whispered, approaching with the sugary treat.
Gratitude shone in Mabel's eyes. "Thanks bro," she said, taking the bowl and spoon.
"If you need anything else, let me know."
"I will."
Dipper kept his space for the next couple of hours, watching movies in the living room. He would periodically check in on Mabel, and eventually pop music filled the quiet atmosphere. The cheerful tunes meant she was feeling better and Dipper slipped in to give her a tall glass of Mabel Juice.
When he returned to his perch on the couch his phone was ringing. Dipper snatched it off of the coffee table and answered it. "Hello?"
"Hello, Dipper."
"Hey, Candy. What's up?"
"I was wondering if Mabel was home yet. She hasn't been answering our texts, so I was hoping she was back so we could talk. Is everything okay?"
"Uh…not really. She didn't go on her date."
"What happened?"
Dipper bit his lip and glanced in the direction of his room. "I think it's best if she tells you. Give me a second. She might just have her phone on vibrate and hasn't been hearing it go off."
"Thank you, Dipper. Let her know we're worried and we would like to hear from her."
"Of course."

Subject: Worst Valentine's Day ever
Sorry for the radio silence, guys.
Yeah, the date was a sham. Jaxon only asked me out because he lost a bet and that was the punishment. Not exactly a pride-inflator. But I'm fine. Just a little embarrassed and hurt. I'll get over it. I hope you guys had a better Valentine's Day.
Much love,
Mabel

Wendy Corduroy: No. I don't think so. How much is a bus ticket? I'll miss a day of school but it'll be worth it when I kick that prick's butt all the way to the Artic.
Candy Chiu: I am so sorry, Mabel. What is his address? I will send him a very angry letter.
Grenda Gosling: We'll rig the envelope so it explodes some nasty gunk in his stupid face!
Pacifica Northwest: That's a seriously cruel move. And that's coming from me. He obviously doesn't realize how gracious you were to accept a date when you can do so much better.
Mabel Pines: Thanks, guys. You're all the best. I just wish I hadn't given him the dumb chocolates beforehand. I am super glad I went with your advice, Wendy, and didn't do the patch.
Wendy Corduroy: Personal gifts are better saved for later on in a relationship. And your gifts are the bomb, and trash like Jaxon aren't deserving of them.
Mabel Pines: He's not trash. Just an arrogant guy who thinks he's all that.
Candy Chiu: You are very nice, Mabel.
Pacifica Northwest: How are you going to fester a grudge if you won't call him rude names? Did you say anything to him?
Mabel Pines: No, I just overheard the conversation he was having with his friends. I stood him up.
Pacifica Northwest: Oh in that case perfect.
Grenda Gosling: I bet his puny pride can't take that.
Wendy Corduroy: You're strong, brave and gorgeous, Mabel. Don't take the opinions of jerks like Jaxon seriously. There are people who are going to try to undermine you. Don't let them.
Candy Chiu: We will take care of anyone who tries to hurt you.
Grenda Gosling: We'll resort to violence if we have too!
Pacifica Northwest: Some people may try to undermine you out of jealousy because of your natural social skills, outgoing personality and the fact that you're always happy. As someone who constantly faces jealous girls, I speak from experience.
Wendy Corduroy: Only you could disguise a supportive remark as a compliment about yourself.
Mabel Pines: I don't know what I'd do without you guys.
After spending an hour conversing with her friends, Mabel signed off and ventured into the kitchen to refill her glass. She froze at the sight of twelve beautiful pink and red roses in a purple vase on the table, surrounded by cards.
"The flowers are from me," spoke Dipper, coming up behind her.
Mabel ventured closer to take a sniff, smiling at the sweet scent. She gave Dipper a bear hug and kissed his cheek. "Thanks Dipper. I love them." She took a look at the cards and asked curiously, "Where did all these cards come from?"
"Gravity Falls. And two from Grunkle Stan and Grunkle Ford, which I think were sent from Europe."
Mabel shifted through the Valentine's Day cards. Some were heart-shaped, some were round and some were square. Some were covered in glitter, some in ribbon and some in gemstones. There were cards from everyone they knew in Gravity Falls, and there were about fifty of them in total.
"Beats the years where I didn't get any," joked Dipper.
"You know what? I don't need a boyfriend to have as a Valentine," declared Mabel. "I never did. I have you, Grunkle Stan, Grunkle Ford, and all of Gravity Falls. Dipper, would you like to go to the movies with me?"
Dipper smiled and bowed. "It would be my honour."
Mabel linked arms with him, a bright smile on her features. "Then let's go paint the town purple!"
The next day Mabel walked to school alone, since Dipper had an early morning meeting with his robotics club. He insisted he could skip it, but she refused. She would be fine. She would have to encounter Jaxon at some point, and she'd rather get it over with.
As she headed for her locker, Jaxon, Zach and their friend suddenly stepped out of a classroom and in front of her. They didn't notice her as they spoke. "Come on," Zach pressed. "How did the date with Mabel go?"
"Fine," snapped Jaxon. "It was fine, okay?"
Mabel picked up her pace and forced her way past the three males, bumping her shoulder sharply against Jaxon's as she did so. "That's funny," she said sweetly. "I don't know how our 'date'," here she made air-quotations with her fingers, "could have been fine when I never went out with you in the first place."
Jaxon's face turned bright red as his friends burst into surprised laughter. "She stood you up?" chortled Zack.
"Yup. I had a better Valentine to spend time with."
"Let me guess, your brother?" spat Jaxon.
Mabel spun on her heel and glowered into his face, causing him to recoil slightly. This close vantage point brought Jaxon's black eye to attention. "You better believe it," Mabel said proudly. "I decided it wasn't fair to me to lower my standards. But if your pride is still hurt, I'm sure Susan Shores would go out with you if you asked. I think you'd make the perfect couple."
Jaxon glared at her as his friends stared with wide eyes. Mabel started to walk off, but before she disappeared around the corner, she called, "Did you get that injury from soccer practice or did my brother have a talk with you?"
"No way. First you got stood up by the female Pines and then the male Pines decked you? What the heck?"
"Dude. How lame are you?"
Leaving Jaxon to splutter and try to defend himself, Mabel grinned broadly and sauntered off to get ready for her first class of the day.

What's this punk's address? What does his face look like? I know a couple of hitmen from the old days. They won't kill him, because I want that honour, but they'll rough him up good. I'll teach that snotnose a lesson he won't soon forget.

Mabel Pines: Dipper blabbed, didn't he?
Grunkle Ford: He didn't have much choice, dear. We figured something was up when you told us you didn't go on your planned date. Stan wouldn't let him hang up until he told. We were just worried.
Mabel Pines: It's okay. I guess I should have told you. But I didn't want the front page headline to be 'Middle School Soccer Player Killed by Mysterious Old Men'. Jaxon is a jerk, but I don't want him dead.
Grunkle Stan: Fine. I won't kill him. I'll just scare ten years off of his life.
Mabel Pines: I'm fine, honestly. Why would I want a guy like that for a Valentine anyway? I have Dipper, I have you guys and the girls. Thanks for the Valentines, by the way! I love them.
Grunkle Ford: You're welcome. Thank you for your Valentines. I especially like the colour feathers you pasted onto the owl on my card.
Grunkle Stan: Mine was better. 'You're under arrest for stealing my heart.' With handcuffs drawn around a heart? Classic.
Grunkle Ford: You're all right, then?
Mabel Pines: I promise. If it makes you feel better, I stood him up and then Dipper socked him in the face and gave him a shiner.
Grunkle Ford: Yes, I suppose that retaliation will do.
Grunkle Stan: Those are my runts. You're beautiful, pumpkin. Don't ever let anyone convince you otherwise.
Grunkle Ford: Prettier than the rarest gemstone and brighter than any star in the sky.
Mabel Pines: I know. Any guy who gets me as a girlfriend is the luckiest guy in the world, and he better know it. But for now, I have you guys and all my friends, and that makes me the luckiest girl in the world.
