Latest details:
GameChat Enables New Ways to Play Socially, All Together
With the new online feature GameChat, people can play games and talk like everyone is in the same room, even if they are miles apart. Whether sharing a victory or just waving hello, GameChat makes it feel like online friends around the world are on the same couch. Once GameChat is up, players can start a chat with friends anytime by pressing the C Button on the right Joy-Con 2 controller. The systemâs built-in mic can be used to voice chat while playing games with up to 12 people in different locations. Up to four friends can share their screen, and if they connect a compatible USB-C camera, such as the Nintendo Switch 2 camera (sold separately), they can also video chat, seeing each otherâs faces as they cheer, shout, or laugh while playing. Additional friends can join the chat via audio only. Until the end of March 2026, GameChat can be used without the need to have a Nintendo Switch Online membership. Afterwards, a Nintendo Switch Online membership will be required.
When initiating a GameChat session, the user invites people from their friend list. Safety features are in place to help players have a safe and secure chat experience, such as the ability to report a person while in a chat session. In addition, Nintendo recognizes the important role parents and guardians play in their childrenâs online experiences, so children under the age of sixteen will need their parent or guardian to approve their use of GameChat with an updated version of the Nintendo Switch Parental Controls App.
A Multitude of New Features and Experiences
A large, vivid screen that allows smooth motion expression â Nintendo Switch 2 has a large 7.9-inch built-in LCD screen that displays in full HD at 1080p while maintaining the same thickness of Nintendo Switch. Even while on the go, Nintendo Switch 2 offers vivid, detailed game experiences, as well as smooth graphics showcasing character movements and their rich facial expressions.
Joy-Con 2 controllers attach to the system with a âsnapâ â Joy-Con 2, the newly designed Nintendo Switch 2 controllers, magnetically attach to the Nintendo Switch 2 console. In addition, either Joy-Con 2 controller can be operated like a mouse by sliding it on a surface like a table or on a pair of pants. They can be used in multiple ways, including for games that require aiming.
A new freely adjustable stand and a new USB-C port â The angle of the new stable stand on the back of the Nintendo Switch 2 system can be adjusted freely so that players can find their preferred viewing angle. While Nintendo Switch has one USB-C port on the bottom of the system, Nintendo Switch 2 has a port on the top of the system as well, which makes it possible for players to use the included AC adapter to charge the system while playing in tabletop mode. It is also possible to connect a compatible USB-C camera, like the Nintendo Switch 2 camera accessory to enjoy video chat on GameChat.
Powerful processing speed and graphical performance â Nintendo Switch 2 has significantly improved CPU and GPU performance over Nintendo Switch, resulting in faster processing speed and enabling new visually advanced gameplay. It also makes it possible to achieve more detailed graphics and faster loading times.
Crisp audio quality and spatial 3D sound â On Nintendo Switch 2, the sound quality is more natural and clearer with an even more balanced sound range. When playing in handheld mode or tabletop mode, players will be able to experience games with even more immersive, three-dimensional sound.
Internal storage of 256 GBÂ â The internal storage of Nintendo Switch 2, where digital games and save data are stored, is 256 GB, which is 8 times the storage capacity of Nintendo Switch. For additional storage, Nintendo Switch 2 only uses microSD Express cards, which have faster data reading speeds than previous microSD models.
Nintendo Switch games are also playable on Nintendo Switch 2Â â In addition to Nintendo Switch 2 games, Nintendo Switch 2 can play compatible physical and digital games released on Nintendo Switch. Some Nintendo Switch games may not be supported on or fully compatible with Nintendo Switch 2. Nintendo Switch Joy-Con controllers and peripherals, such as the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, will also be usable on Nintendo Switch 2 by connecting them wirelessly to the system. For more information on the compatibility with Nintendo Switch games and accessories, please visit the Nintendo website.
The new Nintendo Switch 2 Dock â By connecting the Nintendo Switch 2 Dock to a TV, users can output video at up to 4K resolution and play games at up to 120 fps, via compatible games and TVs.
Multiple people can play one title with GameShare â With GameShare, a new Nintendo Switch 2 feature, players can share and play the same game with others who do not have the game. If one person has a Nintendo Switch 2 system and a game compatible with GameShare, that person can invite others to temporarily play the same game together via local play with their Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch system. Between Nintendo Switch 2 systems, GameShare can also be used along with GameChat for online play, so that players can chat with others while all of them play the same game.
Virtual game cards add benefits to digital games â With virtual game cards, players can easily manage all their purchased digital games, play games on two different systems, or even lend or borrow games. The virtual game card menu shows all of the digital games purchased with a userâs Nintendo Account, making it easy to access the games and load them on the system. Once a virtual game card is loaded onto a system, it can be played even if the system is not connected to the internet, and other users who are on that system can also play the game. Additionally, digital games can be lent and borrowed among members of the same Nintendo Account family group in the form of virtual game cards via local wireless communication.
Nintendo Switch Online â Nintendo Switch Online will be available on Nintendo Switch 2. On Nintendo Switch 2, players with a Nintendo Switch Online membership will be able to use features like GameChat along with existing online features. For a limited time, all Nintendo Switch 2 owners can access GameChat without a Nintendo Switch Online membership through the GameChat Open-Access period, which lasts until the end of March 2026. After that time, a Nintendo Switch Online membership will be required to use GameChat. In addition, for Nintendo Switch 2 owners, Nintendo GameCube â Nintendo Classics will be released right at the systemâs launch. Players with a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership and a Nintendo Switch 2 system will be able to access a growing collection of Nintendo GameCube games with clearer image quality and higher resolution than the original releases. The classic game lineup available at release will be F-Zero GX, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, and Soulcalibur II. Along with the classic games, a dedicated wireless controller designed after the original GameCube controller will be available for purchase by paid Nintendo Switch Online members.
Variety of accessibility features â In addition to existing accessibility features on Nintendo Switch, to support playersâ wide range of gameplay styles, Nintendo Switch 2 offers a variety of new accessibility options including the ability to adjust font size, enable screen reader, and speech-to-text features within GameChat.
Safe and secure game experience on Nintendo Switch 2Â â With the Nintendo Switch Parental Control app, parents can easily support their childrenâs gameplay by using their smart device to check what kind of games their children play or set limits on how long the system can be used daily. As for GameChat, children under the age of 16 will need the parentâs or guardianâs approval on the Nintendo Switch Parental Control app to start a chat, which makes it possible for parents and guardians to manage their childrenâs chat experience securely.
Nintendo Switch 2 will be available for pre-order in North America from participating retailers beginning on April 9, 2025.

I bought an 8bitdo Retro mechanical keyboard!

(Picture not mine, source from PC World.)
I wanted a plastic keyboard, I really do not actually use the knob on a Keychron board I have, it still comes in a scooped keycap profile, and it has a companion numpad with a calculator built in. Win/win/win!
This keyboard comes in four designs (not colorways, full designs) themed after the NES, the Famicom, the IBM Model M, and the Commodore 64 keyboard. The NES keycaps have multiple different fonts on them, the Famicom keycaps have Japanese sublegends, the Model M keycaps have a mock stepped Caps Lock key, and the Commodore 64 keycaps are an apparently off-the-shelf SA set from one of many, many, many keycap companies floating around China (I recognize their font and profile shape from Akko ASA keycaps and numerous other scooped profile keycap sets you can have cheaply off of Aliexpress and Amazon. Do check those out, genuinely, you'd struggle to find a bad scooped keycap set these days and I love scooped profiles over Cherry and OEM.)
The build quality of the actual keyboard itself is good, feels like a very similar plastic blend to what 8bitdo uses for its controllers like their Pro 2. Stabilizers are smooth and don't rattle, the legends on the keycaps are reasonably sharp and in NES-appropriate font, the keycaps themselves are MDA profile (I would prefer SA, but beggars can't be choosers) and are somewhat thin but still good quality, dye-sublimated PBT, no warp on the spacebar. Arrow keys are a separate color from the two tones that make up the main keycap set and made to resemble a d-pad. The keyboard itself is somewhat light, but my perception is skewed from using a metal keyboard for a long time, and this is after all a plastic shell, top-mounted keyboard. Even so I think I'll probably end up cracking open the keyboard and putting in some liquid silicone as noise-dampening and additional weight.
Two knobs control both wireless functionality and computer software volume, the wireless knob is heavy with only three options while the volume one is light with many individual steps. The volume knob can be somewhat unresponsive on individual steps. Bluetooth is very responsive and wants to pair with my computer the moment it's flicked over to, and 2.4ghz wireless comes with a receiver that slots into the back of the keyboard magnetically for storage. A power light on the right of the keyboard mimics the NES power light and pulses while charging, is steady while using wireless or when fully charged and connected over USB.
The underlying PCB is south-facing hotswap sockets (who the hell cares their orientation, this only matters for lighting, which this keyboard doesn't have). By default the keyboard comes with Kailh box whites, a very light clicky switch. I yanked them out immediately and put Boba U4T tactiles in because they're the king of all switches. They thunk nicely in this chassis, the Kailh whites weren't slouches either, they did pick a good stock choice for switch without resorting to Gateron or Outemu blue horseshit.
The NES version of the keyboard came with a two-button macro pad that hooks over TRRS cable (you recognize it as a 3.5mm jack or headphone cable) to one of four ports on the top-right of the keyboard. These are essentially just two keyboard switches with giant keycaps on a separate board and the buttons are populated by Gateron greens. The switches are nowhere close to heavy enough to approximate a button, and I gave them Kailh box navies. Still not enough, but better.
These keyboards also come wiiiiiith a companion number pad!

While I don't actually have this one in hand just yet I do have it on order. It looks like it'll be about the same build quality as the main keyboard, and it caught my eye for four reasons and ended up making me purchase the full set as a result:
The numpad has a built in calculator.
Same aesthetic choices as the main keyboard (NES, Famicom, IBM Model M, Commodore 64)
Magnetically attaches to the right side of the keyboard to transform it into a more era appropriate full-size.
Far and away the cheapest wireless mechanical numpad with calculator on the market, sitting at $45.
An important note though is that the Famicom and NES keypads don't attach to their respective keyboards, simply because their respective keyboards don't have magnets inside the sides of the chassis to allow for it. I have some cheap button magnets laying around that I'll use for this purpose and probably see if they're strong enough to be placed on the inside of the board and allow for the numpad to connect to it. I also imagine there's going to be a repop or v2 of this keyboard in the future that has this done already, seeing as the Commodore 64 version of the board and I believe the Model M version of the board already have that.
I'll reblog this and give some actual definitive thoughts on the numpad once it's in my hands.
As far as the board itself is concerned, I quite like it. The keycap profile is agreeable, the nostalgia pandering targeted me with laser precision, the board sounds quite good acoustically (especially for being a top-mount keyboard!) and it has a volume knob I'll see if I can reprogram some day. While I normally hate TKL layouts, I'm putting up with it because it will eventually be a fullsize with the numpad. Worth $150 total? Don't know, can't answer that for you, it's worth it to me but I very specifically wanted a keyboard themed after an old Nintendo console with no setup required and no chasing down or commissioning GMK keycap sets. I also wanted a calculator numpad.

I have a little usb charger that lives permanently in the outlet in my shelf; it's a two-holer, and it always has an usb-c cable and a magnet cable for The Other Device. Periodically I'll reach back there and make sure both cables are all the way in because sometimes they get pulled out a bit. Just now I reached back there, felt something very warm, then touched the usb charger, which was scorching hot. The cables were still plugged into it but it wasn't charging anything. It was just.... like burning lava hot. As I type this it's been like ten minutes since I unplugged it and it's still slightly warm. what the fuck y'all

can i ask what device you are using for drawing? (what tablet model) do you recomend it?
Tablets:
iPad Pro 12.9-inch 5th genâ256GB
â> (I primarily draw with this)
Wacom Cintiq 22 21.5-inch Screen, DTK2260K0A
â> (I primarily animate with this)
Wacom One 13 DTC133
â> (I use this to animate when traveling)
Pens:
Apple Pencil 2nd-gen (for my iPad)
Wacom KP504E Pro Pen 2 (for my Wacom Cintiq)
Wacom One Pen CP91300B2Z (for my Wacom One)
What I would recommend depends entirely on the personâ what theyâll use it for, how often, and how long.
In terms of their quality, I have had no issue whatsoever with any of them. They all work wonderful for me. The pen pressure, screen display, latency, precision and all of that are great for meâ I donât notice anywhere where Iâd want higher quality. If you got something of even higher quality than them, I really donât think youâd notice the difference.
TLDR:
-iPad Pro is easy to take anywhere with you, big screen, good storage, muscle memory from previous mobile use carrying over and thus also more familiar.
-The differences between Apple Pencils is big, choose carefully.
-Wacom Cintiq 22 vs Wacom One: Cintiq has a bigger screen and is sturdier but large and heavy, while Wacom One is lighter and better for traveling but smaller screen.
Putting the more in detail stuff under Read More because I realize I talk waaaayy too much
iPad Pro:
For drawing, personally an iPad has always been my must-have. I draw all the time nearly every day, for work, for fanart, for college, for fun, for relaxing. It has been essential for me that I can take it pretty much anywhere with me, as opposed to a computer tablet that Iâd need an outlet, computer and desk space to use.
Screen size has been helpful for me since my switch from my iPad mini to my iPad Pro itâs been much easier for me to draw details without having to hunch my back and strain my eyes. I can make bigger confident strokes and can ofc also see more of my drawing. Personally, smaller screens often lead me to have my canvases feeling cramped and my drawings end up reflecting that.
The storage space is also very important for me since my Procreate files get heavy fastâ especially with me duplicating canvases to save progress and avoid corruptions leading to huge losses. I pretty much only use my iPad for drawingâ Iâve had mine since 2022 and currently Procreate takes up 114 GB of storage. Also note, this (and the model of iPad) impacts how many layers you get on your canvases in Procreate.
For the majority of the time Iâve been drawing I have done so on mobile so I am way more used to holding the screen and using my fingers with the screen additionally to the pen (and before my iPad Pro, only my fingers to draw) so a lot of my muscle memory for drawing is built on that. I find I always make better drawings when working on an iPad than working on a tablet and computerâ but thatâs me. Other people have it the other way around or no difference, it depends on the person.
In terms of the Apple Pencil, I absolutely think itâs essential to have one that is 2nd generation or newer if you draw a lot. The difference in how they charge is huge. For both the 1st generation and USB-C pens, they need to charge via cable charging. The 2nd generation charges when it magnetically connects to the side of your iPad. My sibling has an older pen and the difference is insane to me. With the older pens, when they run out of battery, youâd connect them and let them charge. With the 2nd genâ you donât even ever get to a point where youâd need to stop using it to charge it. It charges incredibly fast and lasts unbelievably long. In the years Iâve used it, there has only been maybe 3 times where it has run out of battery, and always within about 5 minutes it already has more than enough battery to keep going for hours. Those times it has also only run out of battery because I was pulling an insane amount of consecutive hours only drawing. Otherwise, anytime you take a break or stop for a bit, because youâd connect it to the side of your iPad anyways, it charges.
If you don't plan to draw that much during the day and you wouldn't mind stopping to let it charge, you can definitely get an older one- but in that case you really need to put thought into which one of the two. 1st gen is less comfortable, the charging is more hindering for drawing and the cap at the bottom is easy to lose, but the USB-C pen doesn't have pressure sensitivity which makes a very significant difference in the quality of your art and the control you have. It's possible to try to emulate the looks that pressure sensitivity will give you when it comes to line weight variation, opacity and more, but it is going to take you much longer and personally-be less fun. I would only get that pen if you don't plan to draw with it. That said - also be careful and double-check compatibility between Apple Pencils and iPads.
Wacom Cintiq 22 & Wacom One 13:
In terms of tablets for computersâ the wacoms I have are the only tablets Iâve used so I have nothing to compare them to except eachother. I havenât used another brand or another Wacom model. The only exception is a Wacom intuos tablet but itâs been so long I canât remember. The only thing I do remember, is that I personally definitely prefer the tablet having a screen but how bad you want that depends on the person.
Neither one has buttons for shortcuts on the tabletsâ so I have no idea how much I may be missing out. But as I have my laptop connected to the tablet right behind it and a bit to the left, muscle memory I have built with using shortcuts on the keyboard that I almost always have my left hand out of sight, on the keyboard. Itâs very effective for me and I donât really need to think about where Iâm placing my fingers to use the shortcuts I need so I feel Iâm not really as comparably slow as I otherwise would be. Either way, the pens have two buttons on them (and the pro pen has the function to automatically act as an eraser when flipped around) that help with any keys or clicks I might want.
What I prefer about my Cintiq over the Wacom One is definitely the screen size. It is heavier and way bigger which lets me work way faster. Iâm currently studying animation so I end up with a lot of work I need to get done and done well. Here, the screen size difference is even bigger and so is the difference in how comfortable and efficient I am drawing as well as againâ my canvas feeling less cramped. The difference in quality when it comes to this is even more important for me as the majority of the work I do illustrating is done for fun whereas the majority of the work I do animating is professional. Not only that, but itâs more important for me to be able to better create the illusion of depth in animation and have things move in spaceâ and my ability to do this is the one that is most impacted by the size of my screen as I have a significantly harder time with this when the screen is smallerâ especially since animation software already makes the portion of the screen youâre drawing on even smaller.
The advantage of the Wacom One over the Cintiq is that the Cintiq is large and heavy and this can also be a big disadvantage especially when traveling. Iâm an international student so Iâm constantly going home and back to college as well as additional trips. Before I had the Wacom One I made the mistake of attempting to take my Cintiq somewhere with me. The other few times I did this, it worked, but it was heavy and took up a load of spaceâ but in one instance the screen of my Cintiq got deeply scratched that not only were visually immediately apparent but also went deep enough into the screen you could always feel the ridges. Luckily, this was on the outer edge of the bottom of the screen and has pretty much never been in the way of the area I actually use to drawâ but I never again tried taking my Cintiq on a trip with me. The Wacom One is a world of difference in traveling. Although I still need to pack the cables for it, itâs as light and thin as my iPad. It also uses significantly less desk-space which is also great for travel because I have a much easier time setting it up and finding desks where I can set it up.
========
All in all, whether I recommend it to you or not depends on what you need, your preferences, what youâre gonna use it for, how long youâve been making art and if itâs a side hobby or your main interest/potential future career/career, your budget, etcâŚ
Know that you can always use the cheapest of options just fine and make them work, as long as they function. In the beginning Iâd draw and animate on my iPod and then iPad mini with my finger. Iâve been drawing and animating digitally for 10+ years now and am pursuing animation as a career so investing in more expensive devices that are higher quality is definitely worth it and recommended. But if youâre doing this for fun, you just need what works and makes it fun. If you feel youâve reached a wall to what the device can do and youâre wanting to go beyond that and itâs something you enjoy and spend time on, upgrading is also worth it! And what you upgrade to depends entirely on what you like and need.

Welp they finally did it, Nintendo gave us a first look at the fabled Switch 2. I guess they were sick of the leaks being passed around so wildly, would've figured they'd hold this off till way later if it weren't for that. Although I will say, kind of a missed opportunity to call it the "Super Nintendo Switch" for an NES/Super Nintendo vibe but Nintendo definitely needed to be as blunt as can be (the Wii U name and marketing disaster really changed their whole approach after all).

So far it's looking to be a pretty good improvement on what the original Switch models already have: better kickstand, USB-C on top and bottom (much needed when using a charging cable), the Joycons are magnetic which make em snap into place, the dock looks different but that's really it from first glance, and really it's just bigger all around (though I'm almost certain a Lite model is in the cards a while after release). Dunno about the analog sticks however, they look fine but I really hope they are vastly improved upon after all the drifting issues people had. Not to mention the backwards compatibility thank the high heavens...

I gotta hand it to them for flat out telling us it can play original Switch games both physically and digitally (means I can take my time playing these games even more), making it clear that yes you can keep buying original Switch games and not regret the purchase, but that caveat there:

I hope this only means some "very" specific games cause this raises questions for me, Nintendo. Upside though, at least our accounts don't have to be separate.
Only other things I'm curious about are the specs and price, but knowing Nintendo they'll make it just powerful enough to handle anything thrown at it and just affordable enough to get without breaking the bank (balancing price per power always did feel like their forte anyways).
All in all Nintendo did good so far, they improved on existing stuff, made it clear it's different enough and is backwards compatible, and really didn't have to make it a spectacle since it really feels more like a fine step-up in the Switch life cycle (makes sense really, within the top 3 best selling systems of all time you're not just gonna "switch" gears from that hehe). But hey...

...at least we're getting Mario Kart!

2025 reccomendation list.
Ok: I'm not paid for any of this stuff. It's all things I bought with my own money. I do not have affiliate links, it's merely my personal opinion which is, of course, flawless and correct in every situation.
Starting out with clothing:
Cooling Blanket
Weirdly these work. You can grab them on Amazon. You're looking for the Arc Chill technology. They work by being silky and sheer on one side which contacts your body. The other side is fuzzy and acts like a heatsink. They'll drop the apparent temperature by several degrees.
Cooling Shirt
There are probably a bunch of these if you know that they exist. The ones I use are the UniQlo Airism stuff. It's like personal air conditioning.
Cooling Fan
It's a fan. It's electric and it's quiet. What's not to love? Aha BUT it's actually for clipping to the handle or fame of a baby stroller. So it's got batteries! Meaning you can clip it to a desk edge, bed frame etc. Recharge with USB, use it as a power bank, take it on your commute etc. They have stepless speed controls in some cases, or even LEDs for camping. Which turns out to be quite handy for doing your nails or reading small print. And because they're designed for use on babies, they tend to be super quiet. Great if you work in a call centre where you can't plug anything in, and they turned off the aircon to save money!
Personal Orb
A small, golf-ball sized glowing sphere that uses magnets to attach to its charger or any metal surface - Including some of those magnet plates you can stick inside or under cupboards, onto walls etc.
It has an app for configuring the lighting patterns and colours, checking the battery etc. but will happily run without it. Is dimmable and can output a nice low warm-white light or enough light to read by (Enough to illuminate the room to be honest).
Because it remembers it's last on-state you can set it to dim red and click it on and use it at night to avoid waking your SO. Can be locked and thrown in a bag as a way to illuminate your bag, hotel room, extra light in a bathroom (They're waterproof!!), camping, under-shelf lighting... I throw mine in the washing machine and dryer to see if I left anyting inside. You can even use a magnetic hook to hang it up (amazon has plenty).
Also... day to day it's a fun alternative to turning lights on. It's got that 'Walking with a candle' vibe without the 'oops burned the house down'.
Also... look at this thing. It's in rainbow mode here, and about three times life size.
$20 from olight, who will most likely throw in a keychain flashlight if you're a new customer. DO get the charging cable. It's the only way to charge it.

So I noticed my usb power bank was making a tiny crunching noise.
When I say âtiny,â I mean like a hyperacusis-exclusive kind of noise. For context, I have practically-off-the-charts literally-too-sensitive-to-measure-with-standard-equipment (according to my employer, a AuD, PhD audiologist) levels of hearing, and I only heard this with the powerbank held next to my ear in a  quiet room.
I then noticed the noise was significantly altered by me making gestures on my phone and slightly altered by touching the cable. I tried unplugging my phone, the noise goes away. I try turning my phone off while itâs plugged in, the noise goes fucking insane, but still extremely quiet.
What is this mystery crunch, you ask?
Well, I did some thinking and my theory, described with rather loose regard for terminology, is as follows:
First, the givens:Â
The voltage regulation circuitry inside of the power bank involves a few inductors.
Those inductors produce magnetic fields.
The field each inductor produces varies with voltage and/or current. (Iâm not doing math here so I donât care which weâre considering) And finally, the voltage and/or current across each inductor in the power bank circuit *depends on the load on the charger.*
My phone was using a *slightly different* amount of energy when I made a gesture, and using *probably a fair bit more* but also a less consistent amount of energy while sleeping and charging.Â
This tiny variation in load from my phone on the power bank (and even tinier changes in capacitance of the cable from my nearby flesh) was modulating the magnetic field produced by some random inductors which was, in turn, *VIBRATING UNRELATED TINY (PRESUMABLY BITS OF METAL) FERROMAGNETIC COMPONENTS BY FRACTIONS OF A MICRON AND PRODUCING A *TINY FUCKED UP CHRUNCHING SOUND*
Overall, I think this tracks pretty well with how the noise sounded like a filtered version of directly listening to the electrical noise induced by a microprocessor running or directly playing an arbitrary binary file like it was a (wav-like simple sample sequence) sound file. (Donât worry about how I know what those sound like)
I donât know what Iâm going to do with this information. I just discovered that my power bank is a cursed little smartphone stethoscope.Â
Hyperacusis is *the weirdest* shitty superpower.
Iâm adding a couple more questions for god besides relativity and turbulence.

Fintie Slim Case for my Samsung Galaxy Tab E 9.6 - Full Item Review
Time for another round of bringing todayâs review on April 2024. Iâm thankful enough after getting through some secret art trade errands later, but for awhile working some art projects in secret like always. For now though, itâs time to focus on bringing this before saving two item reveals later. This hereâs my new slim tablet case branded from Fintie. Youâll probably remember back where Iâd had the first branded one from last year. This time, itâs for my Samsung Tab E device that may surprise you. Never thought Iâd brought back with this older tablet for so long, but mostly few years back where Iâd had to turn off due to an unfortunate incident for its USB charging cable. (Link Here)
I donât wanted to running off its battery life if Iâd continued to use it afterwards. Well lucky for me, the wait is finally over as Iâm planning to save for my next review soon.
âŹď¸ (1st to 3rd Images) (March. 27th, 2024 from 5:20 to 5:21 A.M.; two days ago after receiving my slim tablet case from my mom.)
Iâd unboxed from its packaging, but sure bring back that time for my first Fintie tablet case unboxing weâd ordered by mistake last year. Letâs just say I learned a lesson not to rush in before ordering the wrong item with my mom. At least now I have with the JETech tablet case(s) for my 5th gen iPad laterâŚ.twice. đ
(Link Here #2)
(Link Here #3)
(Link Here #4)
Thankfully after careful consideration through Amazon.com searches, I found the right size for my old Samsung tablet to fit in; hopefully.

âŹď¸ (4th to 7th images; from 5:23 to 5:25 A.M.) (Edited)
Continuing on with my first iPad Air tablet case from Fintie, I just wanted to make a quick comparison between with the slim tablet case to give it a better look. Seems that the iPad Air case was bigger than the slim case Iâd topped with. Though no surprise for having their different designs that were made for specific tablet sizes. Having said that, at least Iâd gotten this shown unless if I can have my own iPad Air to bring; whether or not for this year later.

âŹď¸ (8th and 16th Images; from 5:27 to 5:30 A.M.) (Edited)
Just before I can move forward, I wanted to bring my previous tablet case for this review. Unfortunately, this is exactly where I'm about to move on after with my previous tablet case showing its age. if you wanted to refresher your memories, this is my ProCase Galaxy Tab E 9.6 Case I'd had with me since Oct. 21st, 2020. I've talk about it throughout my previous review that trying to secure my android tablet for recent years. It does came with its own stylus pen, but rarely use even after covered up in the first half segment. đ¤ˇ
(Link Here #5)
(Link Here #6)
However as of 2024, it's time for my ProCase tablet case for retirement. Despite having to hold on; at least while with my Samsung tablet device temporarily turned off for so long. Though being said, it finally to show its age as I took photos with my 5th gen iPad. There's even some tape I'd tried to patch on the top; from the inside as I opened the case itself. As much it was disappointing to see, but thatâs exactly where Iâm saving my new tablet case already. At least knowing itâll be kept safe into my drawers as my choice. Not before I can use it for another comparison later though.

âŹď¸ (17th to 22nd Images; from 5:32 to 5:34 A.M.) (Four edits; two separate own images)
Now weâre getting into my new slim tablet case a closer look. Itâs gonna be different than what I did with my ProCase tablet case; after years of using. Iâd even check around with its slim back shell design to the magnetic clip-on every time of open and closes. It doesnât have sleep/wake function with my Samsung tablet, but at least does secure to protect its touchscreen I was thinking of. đ¤
Having said that, it was a nice slim case to show. đđ

âŹď¸ (23rd to 28th Images; from 5:35 to 5:37 A.M.) (Four edits; two separate own images)
I went on making another comparison with my ProCase tablet case afterwards. It was pretty obvious both cases had made with different materials and fitting sizes when inserting my android tablet. Though my new slim case well be slightly lighter, but alongside with its hard shell design as Iâd mentioned before. Not bad, however it seems my older case was a bit bigger than the slim case in my opinion.

âŹď¸ (29th to 37th Images; from 5:40 to 5:44 A.M.) (Four edits; five separate own images)
Iâm now finally set up with my android tablet into this new slim case that youâd been waiting for. As expected, it fits neatly as Iâd hoped that it was advertised. It also do in angles to make like a keyboard stand for typing; except while my android tablet turned off for now. Looks good still.
My Experience/Overall Thoughts: âŹď¸
Iâm very good after owning this new slim case that I wanted it for my old android tablet. Iâm gonna miss with my previous tablet case that did the job of secure years later. With this new one though, at least its something I can get used to.
Hope you guys like my full review Iâd worked on. It took days to get there from the beginning, but at least Iâd tried my best of giving thoughts for my new slim case. Of course Iâm not done as Iâm saving my next review with two items to reveal. For now though, itâs finally break time for me. đđ Link down for more details with the Fintie Slim Case Tablet if youâre interested. âŹď¸
