Top Mobile App Development Mistakes & How to Avoid Them!

In today’s digital age, mobile apps are an essential part of any business strategy. Whether you are a startup or an established brand, investing in a mobile app can significantly increase your customer engagement and revenue. However, many businesses make common mistakes during mobile app development, which lead to poor user experience, wasted resources, and even failure.
If you are looking for mobile app development India, avoiding these mistakes is very important to create a successful app. Let’s explore the top mobile app development mistakes and how to avoid them.
Lack of Proper Market Research
Many businesses jump into mobile app development without conducting thorough market research. They assume their idea is unique and that users will love it without validating the demand.
How to Avoid It:
Analyze your target audience, competitors, and industry trends.
Use surveys, interviews, and focus groups to gather insights into user preferences and requirements.
Validate your idea with a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) before full-scale development.
Example: Suppose you’re launching a food delivery app in India. Research the competition (Zomato, Swiggy) and identify gaps where you can provide better service.
Poor UI/UX Design
A cluttered interface, confusing navigation, and slow performance can drive users away. Many businesses prioritize features over usability, leading to a frustrating user experience.
How to Avoid It:
Focus on a simple and intuitive design.
Ensure smooth navigation with a user-friendly layout.
Conduct testing with real users to detect and resolve usability challenges.
Example: If you’re creating an e-commerce app, a seamless checkout process and clear product categories can enhance user experience.
Ignoring Cross-Platform Compatibility
Many businesses develop apps only for iOS or Android, limiting their reach. Others fail to optimize apps for different screen sizes and devices.
How to Avoid It:
Choose cross-platform development with frameworks like Flutter or React Native to reach both iOS and Android users.
Evaluate the app across various devices to verify seamless performance.
Example: A travel booking app should work equally well on Android and iOS to maximize its user base.
Overloading with Features
Adding too many features can make an app slow, complicated, and difficult to use. Many startups try to include everything in the first version, leading to unnecessary delays.
How to Avoid It:
Prioritize essential features for the initial release.
Use the MVP (Minimum Viable Product) approach to test core functionalities before expanding.
Example: WhatsApp started with just messaging and gradually introduced features like voice calls, payments, and status updates.
Neglecting App Security
Security vulnerabilities can lead to data breaches, loss of user trust, and legal troubles. Many businesses overlook encryption, secure authentication, and data protection measures.
How to Avoid It:
Implement end-to-end encryption for sensitive data.
Use secure authentication methods like OTP verification and biometrics.
Regularly update the app to fix security loopholes.
Example: A fintech app handling payments must ensure secure transactions with SSL encryption and multi-factor authentication.
Not Optimizing Performance & Speed
Slow apps lead to high uninstallation rates. Users expect fast-loading screens and smooth functionality. Heavy graphics, unoptimized code, and excessive API calls can slow down performance.
How to Avoid It:
Optimize images, videos, and animations for better speed.
Use caching techniques to reduce loading time.
Minimize unnecessary background processes.
Example: A gaming app with high-quality graphics should balance performance and visuals for a seamless experience.
Poor Testing & QA Process
Skipping rigorous testing results in apps crashing, bugs, and poor user experience. Many businesses rush development and launch without proper quality assurance.
How to Avoid It:
Conduct manual and automated testing to detect bugs.
Test under different network conditions and device environments.
Perform beta testing with real users before launching.
Example: A fitness tracking app should be tested on various devices to ensure accurate step counting and real-time syncing.
No Clear Monetization Strategy
Many businesses build apps without planning how to generate revenue. Some choose the wrong monetization model, leading to low profitability.
How to Avoid It:
Decide whether your app will be subscription-based, ad-supported, freemium, or one-time paid.
Balance user experience with monetization (avoid excessive ads or expensive in-app purchases).
Example: Spotify offers both a free ad-supported version and a premium subscription, catering to different users.
Not Planning for Updates & Maintenance
Launching an app is just the beginning. Many businesses fail to update their apps, leading to outdated features and security vulnerabilities.
How to Avoid It:
Regularly update the app based on user feedback.
Fix bugs and improve performance with frequent maintenance.
Introduce new features gradually to keep users engaged.
Example: Instagram constantly rolls out new features like Reels and Stories to keep users engaged.
Ignoring User Feedback
Many businesses ignore user reviews and complaints, leading to dissatisfaction and negative ratings.
How to Avoid It:
Actively monitor app reviews and feedback.
Address complaints and improve features based on user needs.
Engage with users through in-app support and social media.
Example: If users complain about a slow checkout process in an e-commerce app, prioritize fixing it in the next update.

Avoiding these common mistakes can help businesses build successful mobile apps that attract and retain users. If you are looking for a mobile app development company in India, partnering with an experienced company ensures a smooth development process, better performance, and long-term success.

All the takes are correct and yet they also miss the point. Yes, it was insane for the Democrats to think they could win by running a soulless candidate, without a shred of progressive policy vision, pursuing endorsements from neocon war-hawks everybody hates, while arming and funding a genocide, and belittling and crushing those who have enough morality to protest it. It is enraging that the Democrats are so smug and blind to this. But these are all just symptoms. The deeper reality is that liberalism has failed, liberalism is dead, and people urgently need to wake up to this fact and respond accordingly. It is a defunct ideology that cannot offer any meaningful solutions to our social and ecological crises and it must be abandoned. Democrats have proven over and over again that they cannot accept even basic steps like public healthcare, affordable housing, and a public job guarantee - things that would dramatically improve the material, social and political conditions of the working classes. And they cannot accept a public finance strategy that would steer production away from fossil fuels and toward green transition to give us a shot at a liveable future. Why? Because these things run against the objectives of capital accumulation. And for liberals capital is sacrosanct. They will do whatever it takes to ensure elite accumulation, it is their only consistent commitment. At home, they suppress and demonize progressive and socialist tendencies. Abroad, they engage in endless wars and violence to suppress input prices in the global South and prevent any possibility of sovereign economic development. The Democrats have done all this purposefully and knowingly, for my whole life, not as some kind of "mistake" but in full consciousness that it is in the interests of capital. And because liberalism cannot address our crises, and because it crushes socialist alternatives, it inevitably paves the way for right-wing populism. They know this pattern, and yet they risk it every time - this election being only the most recent example. They did it in 2016, when they actively crushed the Sanders campaign and sent Trump to the White House. They do it because ultimately they (and I mean the liberal ruling class here) don't really mind if fascists take power, so long as the latter too ensure the conditions for capital accumulation. They 100% prefer this to the possibility of a socialist alternative. So, progressives have to face reality. The dream of "converting" the Democratic party is dead. This is now a fact and it must be accepted. The only option is to build a mass-based movement that can reclaim the working classes and mobilize a political vehicle that can integrate disparate progressive struggles into a unified and formidable political force and achieve substantive transformation. This will take real work, actual organizing, but it must be done and that process must begin now.

DC XDP Fic idea: Gamer Boy
Mr. and Mrs. Fenton are well known for turning objects found around the house into ghost-fighting gear. This was partially to save money on materials and partially because the Fentons were geniuses like that.
They had no trouble changing an object's entire purpose. It was awe-inspiring if you didn't live with them and misplaced something.
What happened to the TV remote? It's now a controller for the defense of house security weapons.
What happened to the third chair at the dinner table? It's now the main anchor for the ghost shield at the top of the house.
Where were the forks? Melted down to create the Spector-Glider jetpack, allowing any hunter on the go to fly right after the ecto-foes!
Danny learned to keep everything he wanted to be left alone in his room (Jack and Maddie had a rule not to bother the kids' safe spaces); otherwise, it would somehow become gear. His room was messy, but he knew where everything was and when he placed it there.
They vanished if he didn't.
It was odd to be so well aware of his things, but it was a fact of life he accepted growing up in the Fenton Household, like the food coming back to life. When they came to visit, his friends knew he had a strict rule of leaving everything in his room.
So, really, there was no reason for this mistake to happen. Sadly, he's gotten a bit careless since the whole Phantom thing. This is his downfall. See, it started the day Tucker brought home a cool new mobile gaming console, lending it to Danny after his parents refused to buy it for him due to his grades.
He had been excited to curl up in a ball on his bed and play the mobile version of Doom. No computer needed, connecting to the world wide web and with a ton of new updates- some even inspired by him when he went into the game last time, and some developer saw him- it was everything he wanted to spend his Friday afternoon on.
Then, a new ghost yells about wanting to be the best showgirl this town has ever seen and starts Can-caning into buildings. She was from before Amity Park was even a town or a city. She was a ghost from the late eighteen hundreds who had arrived in what would have been his hometown with the few settlers who had tricked her.
From what Sam discovered, she had been promised a stage, her name on the headliners as the best performer, and riches beyond belief. What she got instead was a bartender job where the men laughed and mocked her dreams. They wanted something pretty to serve their drinks and would not pay her for it.
She was working to be fed and to keep a roof over her head.
She was too poor to leave and had no family willing to lend a hand after her father warned her that if she ran off to chase her dreams, he would cut her off.
Danny could understand why she hated the sight of this place flourishing and booming when in life it had been her cave but he couldn't let her break it all down. The fight with her last hours then days and finally weeks before he was able to put her away in the Zone.
He had been so exhausted that it wasn't until Tucker asked for his console back that he realized he had had it for a whole month and had not gotten past the main menu.
The worst was putting it in the living room drawer on his way out for a fight. That was a week ago. Rushing home, Danny was relieved to find it still in the same place, untouched by his parent's fingers.
He was supposed to return it to Tucker the following morning, and since no one else was home, he could at least leave it on for a few hours. Not bothering to change back into Fenton, Danny floated in the air, eyes dropping but determined to enjoy this game if it killed him.
The second he powered it on, a woman's voice beeped in a familiar chilling tone.
"Ghost detected. Activating FentonTrap."
He tried to drop it, but it had a similar concept to the Fenton Thermos. His hands were stuck to the metal, and thrashing about wasn't doing anything but fling him through the air.
Before he knew it, he was sucked right into the screen. He screamed, but no one was around to listen. Just his luck. The gaming console turned into a ghost bear trap, falling the second he was sucked into.
It landed in Jazz's cardboard box of old things she had set aside to donate. She was moving out for college and felt it was good to give it away to the less fortunate.
Danny panicked inside the gaming console, floating into a box of darkness with nothing but the screen acting like a window to see out into the real world. Unlike when he entered the game, he had no control over his surroundings or the settings.
He waited a few hours, and as soon as Jazz came down from her bedroom the following morning, he tried screaming as loud as he could to get her attention. But she didn't react. Not even when he pushed his ectoplasm into the screen, holding it would do something.
The game was off. Jazz wasn't a gaming type of person, so she felt no need to turn it on when she was opening the box with tape. Danny could do nothing as she loaded it into her car and drove it to a nearby Wayne Foundation donation center. He hoped someone would pick him up and turn on the console so he could get help.
It was the very latest system. Someone had to be tempted.
But no such luck.
He was moved through hands, everyone assuming that this was only donated if it was busted. It didn't help their assumptions that the darn thing randomly beeped and cried out, "Ghost detected!". Danny tried repeatedly to get someone's attention, but he always failed and was moved between centers across the country, watching time move on without him.
Being inside the GhostTrap was a strange pain. He didn't need food or water, but he felt starved. He missed the sun on his skin, the voices of people speaking to him and not around him, and his family.
A family probably losing their minds looking for him. Danny Fenotn had vanished at fifteen years old, and the earth kept turning. He was stuck there, never aging, never moving, and always watching as years passed.
He stayed long enough for the console to become outdated, and people stopped even considering taking him home.
Eventually, Danny was pushed into the retro gaming boxes, sealed up, and moved across the states. He ended up in a pawn shop in a bigger city, placed in a glass case facing up. I was far more interested in him than the community depot the Waynes had him in.
He watched daily as various shady people entered Crime Alley's best pawn shop and traded multiple items for cash. He had stopped trying to get people's attention at this point. A little over a decade of inability to communicate did that to a person.
Danny sat back, watching people from below place cash on the counter items and wonder about them. Sometimes, they would peer down at him, getting close enough to fog up the glass, but never ask for him.
Until one day, a tiny little boy wandered in, clutching a few dollars. He said he got the money, and Hans (the pawn shop owner) didn't ask. He just counted out the bill for the tiny thing and told him what he could buy with it.
Danny was shocked to see those blue eyes sparkle with glee when they landed on his system. The boy was told that it might be busted because Hans was a good man to children, but he happily claimed he had never had a video game before, and a broken one was better than none.
The boy clutched the game tightly to his chest, slipping him into his pocket with great care, and ran home. Not that Danny could see where that home was. All he got was an eyeful of lint and a half-eaten lollipop.
It didn't stop his heart from leaping in his chest as the newfound hope he had long ago given up on bursting into flames along his rib cages. The second the boy was in his home, he washed after his mother yelled at him to bathe and eat, and he powered on Tucker's system after nearly a decade.
At once, Danny's surroundings changed into a bright light, and his powers could finally pass the screen. He rushed at it, feeling himself slipping through the traps as powering on the console seemed to be the same button as "release".
He flies out, throwing his arms wide open and laughing because, finally, after so long, he is free. He spins in circles, bathing in the feeling of air, even if it's a bit stale. He strains his eyes to listen to the city outside after everything has been so muffled, just seeing the real world.
The boy was pressed against the wall, his wide blue eyes staring up at Danny in suppressed fear. He was obviously on the poorer side, with his mattress on the floor and clothes so faded they might as well be white with a bit of color stains, but Danny didn't care.
"You set me free!" He tells the child, floating before him, "Thank you!"
The boy's mouth opens and closes- isn't it odd that he hasn't heard his name so far- before his wide blue eyes widen. "Are you a genie?"
"Hmm?" Danny wants to talk to him properly but is too busy taking everything in. He is feeling the real world again, seeing color, and feeling the walls.
No wonder his old foes kept trying to come back here. The world was a wonderful place to be in.
"You are! Like the one Aladdin found! I know my first wish. I wish my mom was sober."
Danny doesn't know who Aladdin is, but that... is a sad wish. Oddly enough, he does know how to make it come true. He had been studying under FrostBite after realizing he couldn't be an astronaut anymore and had found that his ectoplasm had a side effect of healing humans.
In theory, it should make her sober.
He considers the boy's earnest and hopeful eyes and thinks I do owe him.
"Alright, bring me to your mom. I'm Danny, by the way. Danny Phantom."
"I'm Jason!" Jason cheers, rushing to the door of his small little bedroom and grabbing Danny's hand on the way. He's practically dragging him to a small living room.
There, leaning against the wall, is a woman, her head bobbing side to side, muttering things under her breath and looking like a mess. There was a needle near her leg. This makes Danny grimace, especially with how easily Jason accepts it.
He places his hands on her face- reeling at the feeling of other humans again!- and pushes his ectoplasm into her body, removing anything he can find that shouldn't be there. He's repairing the damages done by the drugs to her body as he does so.
It might not stop her from doing more in the future, but the addiction is gone. She will no longer crave it.
When he pulls his hands off her, Jason lets out a little gasp by his side. Already, his mother looks healthy. Skin no longer shrunken, hair growing back, skin smooth and blemished free, and a rosy tint to her cheeks.
Now she's just a pretty woman nappin' against the wall with her son holding her hand, looking like he just witnessed a miracle.
Danny isn't sure how he can explain that she could just start up again and tear apart everything he fixed. It feels wrong to speak it as the boy snuggles close to her, crying silent little tears.
"I know what I want my next wish to be" Jason whispers. He looks Danny straight in the eyes when he says, "I wish you were my big brother."
And that is sad, too. But it gives him a reason to stick around and ensure she doesn't put this kid through this again. Besides, he's been missing for twelve years and hasn't changed much. He's scared to go back and has nothing to return to.
Danny shifts into his home form, making the little boy gasp again. "Do I pass as your brother?"
"Yes! You look a lot like me!" Jason beams, "Mom will be so excited to meet you!"
Oh,, he will ensure she is. After all, he needed to scare her straight. Maybe he can find a job to help her get Jason all the games he wants in the world.
Danny Fenton went missing all those years ago. The World kept spinning, but now Danny Todd was spinning with it.

🏠Mundane Natal Astrology: Planets in Houses as Daily Behavior 🛋️
Note: These are all my personal observations and patterns I've noticed over the years. Take what resonates with you more and leave the rest. Lemme know in the comments if it hits home! A single placement or aspect isn't enough to conclude and the whole chart has to be analyzed!
Venus in 1st -> These natives always check the mirror before leaving any room. Can mimic others' tone and body language naturally. Can be photogenic. Would feel “off” if they don’t like their look that day. Usually better treated in public or in customer service than their friends.
Mars in 2nd -> Seriously, these natives works better when they’re a little pissed off or under pressure. They dislike it when people touch them (even their peers/ family) or move their belongings without permission. Can get impatient waiting for paychecks or deliveries. Less likely to share their food with others. Less likely to lend things easily to others. They would rather throw it away.
Sun in 3rd -> Corrects the grammar usage of others. Takes pride in “knowing things” before others like news, facts, trivia, and movies. Repeats jokes louder if no one laughed the first time. Gives people nicknames instantly and uses them like they’ve been friends for years. These natives have at least one go-to story they’ve told a dozen times with perfect delivery. Will correct others' proNunCiaTion under their breath if it’s wrong.
Moon in 4th -> Cooks or cleans when emotionally overwhelmed like resetting their furniture or wardrobe. These natives have playlists they loop hard when they're doing chores. Hate when people sit in their “spot” at home, even if it’s just the end of the couch. They’ll randomly hum the same song a family member was just thinking about or say the same thing at the same time without meaning to.
Saturn in 5th -> These natives avoid karaoke, dancing, or anything that makes them look silly in public. Natives would abandon their hobby if they weren't immediately good at it. Plays to win even in board games. They get visibly annoyed if their friends don't take a game seriously. They won't get along with overly playful people. For example: If they're playing Monopoly with their friends, they make sure people are followin' the rules exactly.
Mercury in 6th -> These natives Google symptoms immediately, even if it's just a headache or stomach pain. They might keep a diary/ notepad to note things down like phone numbers, addresses, etc. These natives are very good at finding small errors/ mistakes others make. They're always the one who catches the professor’s typo or the boss’s small mistake in a document. Has strong opinions about pens, mobile phones, and gadgets. Makes their own cheat sheets just for peace of mind, even when they don’t use them.
Jupiter in 7th -> These natives would give long answers or more than one answer to a simple question or during arguments. They can't stand narrow-minded people or people who are pessimistic. These natives somehow end up talking to strangers in checkout lines or elevators. Overshares if they like someone. More likely to buy expensive gifts or things that are way too big to show their love. One can expect a sink full of dishes after they make a quick meal.
Uranus in 8th -> These natives can get obsessed with documentaries about cults, serial killers, aliens/ UFOs, or bizarre crimes. They use words like, "Not to sound crazy/ weird but....." at least once a week. Out of boredom, these natives would look up people’s net worth, criminal records, or family history just out of curiosity. Would never share their password for streaming, even with their own family, and are less likely to have joint accounts with their spouse. Watches absurd things, UFO stuff, occult documentaries, etc, while eating dinner.
Neptune in 9th -> These natives zone out in classrooms, meetings, etc. These natives can develop a "weird connection" to a place/ country they never visited b4 and would think they had a past life there. For example, someone living in California feels a connection to Egypt. More likely to fall for fake quotes, toxic positivity, MLMs, or inspirational videos when young. Will impulsively sign up for a class or course because the title felt “right,” then drop out within weeks.
Pluto in 10th -> These natives delete or hide old posts, or photos that don’t “match” who they are now. Keeps a tight grip on what personal info people know about them. More likely to keep their phone brightness low in public. More likely to browse incognito, even for normal things. They always sit where they can see the whole room and their backs never face the door. They delete chats/ messages after reading them if they feel unnecessary or too revealing.
Saturn Rx in 11th -> These natives might hesitate to post on social media. Canel plans last-minute. Feels uncomfortable around people who are super loud, overly fun, or touchy in friend settings. Seriously, they will take the long way home just to avoid walking by a group of people they kind of know. They stare at textboxes for long minutes before deciding not to reply at all.
Jupiter Rx in 12th -> These natives hoard screenshots of quotes, threads, or spiritual advice they never look at again. These are the kind of people who start writing a journal, write 3 deep pages, then forget it in a drawer for 6 months. Also, they zone out while doing dishes and imagine writing a book they’ll never start. Would say they’re “not religious” but low-key gets spooked if at night after watching a horror movie or prays to God just in case a ghost shows up.
Uranus Rx in 1st -> These natives adjust their expression in mirrors to see which version looks most “acceptable” for today. They sit in corners or far edges of rooms instinctively. When shopping, these natives avoid busy aisles or wait for people to move instead of squeezing past, as they don’t like being “in the way.” Can repeat outfits even if they have a lot to wear. Buys one random item in bulk “just in case.”

I think there is a difference between the comic as a sequence of images with text and the comic as a comic. it's a subtle difference that an untrained eye might not see but the more one as artist draws comics the clearer this difference becomes, because one who first aspires to draw comics will soon find they are merely drawing sequences of images with text.
when people say an artist is clearly inspired by anime they often use "anime" to refer to japanese pop culture in general, but if you look more closely you can often tell it really is specifically anime rather than manga that inspired them, because the paneling and camera angles in their comics will read like a series of anime screenshots rather than a manga page. similarly, when I was a teenager really popular manga that had anime adaptions would sometimes get "animanga" reprints where they replaced the panels with the equivalent anime screenshots of the scene, and they often looked like dogshit because the very premise showed blatant disregard for why the original comic worked in the first place. these two examples are both about anime because i am a weeb but it applies outside that context too. a cartoon storyboard can be read as if it were a comic, but what it really is is a sequence of images with text that has yet to be refined into its actual intended format.
there are many artists who only employ the medium of comic because what they actually want to draw is a video, or a video game cutscene, but the only tool actually at their disposal is the ability to draw a series of images and add text to them so that is what they use. there is no shame or mistake in doing this, you have to make your art with the tools that you have available, and if the sequence of images with text is enough to convey the idea then it was the right tool for the job. but these are different mediums with different visual languages, languages which have a lot of overlap and can occasionally be used in each other's stead to achieve similar results (especially when drawing a fanart comic of a video game for example), but which are still ultimately different. the comic and the video and the cutscene are all different forms that a sequence of images with text can take but they are far from completely interchangeable.
there is a key difference in approach to the comic as a series of images roughly interchangeable with other forms of series of images like the video and the cutscene, and the comic as specifically the comic. this difference in approach is not always necessary to achieve results, an artist who wants to convey a scenario they came up with needs only the sequence of images with text to achieve this. but the difference between a comic with good writing and art, and a comic that is a good comic, is in whether it was treated as a comic rather than a sequence of images with text. I say this as an artist whose nearly every comic has been simply a sequence of images, because I just don't have the patience to refine it into a comic when I merely want to convey my idea rather than draw a comic. it takes a particular skill and insight that have to be developed and practised separately from the ability to draw well and the ability to write well in order to become good at making "the comic" as synthesis of the two.
it's hard to specifically point out the essence of this difference between the sequence of images and the comic because it's kind of a vibes thing honestly, and it depends on where and how the comic was meant to be published too. comics meant to have paper print editions have different constraints and requirements and frameworks to work with than webtoons meant to be read on slim mobile screens in a continuous scrolling format. a good traditional comic will consider not just how each individual panel looks but also the way each page as a whole looks, and how the pages look next to each other in a spread, and how it feels to turn the page towards the next spread. a good webtoon will consider the movement of scrolling down and how this affects the transition from one moment to another in its composition. time is time in videos and cutscenes but space is time in comics, and the space your have available determines how you can divide time across it. when you make a webcomic on your own website you have no constraints but the ones you set for yourself, and sometimes this leads to things like homestuck, which would not work in any other format than the one it created for itself.
the best comics are good because they tell their story and present their images specifically in the form of a comic, in a way that would not be possible if it were not specifically a comic. I think this is true for basically every medium, I'm just thinking about comics specifically lately, because even though I don't really consider myself a comic artist - because I usually draw sequences of images rather than comics - the thing my clients want to pay for is often still "a comic", and they don't know or care to tell the difference. it's a difference that, as established, is often fairly moot anyway, because as long as it successfully conveys your idea it's good enough. but it's precisely because the sequence of images is often good enough that the specific skill of the comic artist is often overlooked.

hello earthsparked!! it is Hot As Balls where I am (damn you global warming, making the highs higher and the lows lower), but it made me think about Sweat and how bots may react to it.
we already know of some bots who Don't Like Organics/Humans, which is Kind of Fair we are Icky and Sticky, yet it's really interesting to imagine how a species that cools itself using integrated vent systems would Think of Sweat. I mean, we are made of Mostly Fluids, most of which are constantly moving, but we LOSE some of it to cool ourselves!! that's kind of crazy because we also NEED that fluid to Hydrate!!
using Prime bots as examples, I think that the most grossed out of them are: Knock Out (obviously), Starscream (also obviously), Ratchet (he's half worried and half grossed out), Ultra Magnus (he's mostly worried + kind of grossed out), and Megatron, but only partially (he just doesn't care).
the ones that are Interested in Sweat (not like that) are: Shockwave (he needs to know How and Why we developed to sweat), Optimus (who appreciates that humans are a product of our environment), Airachnid (she likes that we sweat b/c of Fear), and Bumblebee/Smokescreen (Bee is worried but grateful that we have a way to cool ourselves off) (while Smokescreen is like "woah???? what that's so weird!!!)
anyways sorry for Long Ask! sorry if there's any typos or mistakes, making an ask on mobile kind of sucks :(
You're always good, don't ever apologize for long messages! <3 I'm happy for the interaction and always glad to see people having a good time and theorizing about things!
You know, I think they would almost certainly manufacture far more heat than our bodies do. Only, they have a system of actual coolant lines and fans, probably heat sinks where needed. Meanwhile we're stuck being little half-assed swamp coolers. (I joke but it's a really cool system. Pun intended.)
I think what would really upset some of them is how, when you get above a certain humidity level, our natural cooling systems just don't work anymore. When you're largely relying on evaporative cooling for internal temperature regulation, and nothing is evaporating, you're pretty much screwed unless you can change something about your environment. Add in higher-than-normal nighttime temperatures that don't drop enough to allow for temporary cooling, and it gets REAL bad. Been there, on my way there again this summer, so you have my sympathy.
You're absolutely right to mention it: this is a serious concern IRL with climate change. You can reach a point where if you don't have a way of cooling your surroundings, it's flat-out unsurvivable.
I think they'd understand the dangers of overheating pretty well, since that's something that could happen to them, too, if their systems fail or experience damage. But of course, they can just replace anything that melts. It's harder for us to replace damaged internal organs, which is what can happen with severe heat stroke.
What would be even worse than you being all sweaty? The moment when they realize you've stopped sweating. When you tip over the line from "sit in the shade and have some cool water" to "hopital."
The good news is: if mechs don't like you being sweaty, all they have to do is let you in their alt mode and crank the air conditioning. I bet they can blast you straight to frosty in ten seconds with their cooling systems. (Seriously that is a LOT of heat they must be putting out. They gotta have the sort of heat dispersal ability that you usually wouldn't find outside of a nuclear reactor. But that's just fun conjecture.)
They would at least make real nice shady areas. Park themselves somewhere real sunny with no shade, and quickly have a bunch of humans lounging in their shadow. Like a sunbeam for cats in reverse.

OK. I THINK I HAVE A NEW IDEA OF HOW SYLUS' MYTH WILL PLAY OUT.
"Amidst the chaos, wings flap and stir up a whirlwind of sand and gravel. On that day, the girl marked for execution unleashed the Fiend from the Abyss."
— Official summary in Where Darkshadows Fall trailer description box
This will be my third theory. Theories 1 & 2 share the same post and are very, very brief, and honestly, not as well-developed.
OK, let's get started <333
For whatever reason, MC is to be executed. I theorize that she hopes to escape her death sentence and she seeks out Sylus, the infamous dragon said to bring about Philos' downfall. Perhaps, she assumes that if she can slay him, she will be pardoned.
However, she is obviously weaker than him. Sylus, as we know him, is a very complex person. Even though he does have an imposing aura, he does not attack without reason, and he also does not attack people weaker than him.

I believe this scene we see in the beginning is MC "training" with Sylus after having been in his company for quite some time. He is not sneering at her foolish attempt to kill him but rather critiquing her mistakes when approaching her prey.
It could also explain 1) she has no weapons, 2) she's alone, 3) she attempts to strangle him bare-handed with one hand (girl pls 🤡), 4) she shows no fear or resistance when captured by Sylus, even as he comments on how easily she can be killed if he applies more pressure to her heart.

Kind of similar to how in Zayne's Snow's Embrace myth, MC was training under Zayne's guidance for quite some time, and he would often give her lessons. I feel like this is a similar situation with Sylus being a mentor of some kind.
(Also, side note: she dresses similar as him??? Feels more draconic fashion than Philos, just saying. She might have been with him for even far longer than a few measly months.)
The mark he gives her could simply be just that. A bruise that serves as a time limit for her to develop her skill and show growth. He wants to see her progress, wants to see her become stronger, so this is could serve as a motivation device for her.
Now unlike with Zayne, Sylus is more upfront about his personal feelings, so we get intimate moments like these, where it leaves little room for doubts about their romance.

We also have a memory (Secret Times, most likely, based on the others' past myth 4-star cards) of Sylus carrying MC in his arms as he flies (🎶 A whole new world~ 🎶)? They're also described as kindred spirits (a term Sylus would later echo in the main story during his first appearance). Shared thoughts and feelings? Perhaps bonding over their status as outcasts?

Now, Sylus seems to be prophesied as bringing about Philos' downfall. Could...MC unwittingly have caused this? Could something have happened that led to Sylus going berserk and decimating Philos?

I believe a "betrayal" (or assumed one, believed by Sylus) may have happened that led to their tragedy. I'm leaning more towards a tragic misunderstanding. I'll make a part 2 since I'm at my 10-pic cap on mobile 😔

AWH does hero have a lazy eye?
That was just a drawing mistake on my part, but I’m now thinking perhaps he does. Since he was the first player ever made (originally started as a pet project by Rana) he has a few kinks in his design that have developed into various disabilities from his sporadic construction, namely short-sighted vision, stiff joints/limited mobility and various neurological disorders (anorexia, brain fog and memory loss).
(Anorexia as in he has absolutely no appetite, not the eating disorder anorexia nervosa where hunger is present but ignored.)

Voiced Heroines in Joseimuke & Otome Mobages
Because of recent discussions about heroines getting voiced in games, I wanted to talk about voiced female MCs/heroines in female-oriented games (joseimuke & otome), specifically in mobile games (mobages). This list will be limited to JP & CN games only
before getting into the list, I’ve included a video featuring some voice lines from the heroines mentioned:
JP GAMES
1. Kokura An – Otome Ken Musashi (CV: Hioka Natsumi, 2019)

Note: The game has already ended its service
This mobile game was released by a sister brand of Karin Entertainment (known for London Detective Mysteria and Zettai Meikyuu Series), which frequently features voiced heroines. She was fully voiced and even had her own SSR cards!
2. Sumisora Tsubasa – B-Project Ryusei Fantasia (CV: Seto Asami, 2021)

This is a joseimuke series. She is voiced in Ryusei Fantasia, which has been localized in English for Switch/Steam. I’m including her here because B-Project had two previous mobile games before Ryusei, though she only received a voice in Ryusei Fantasia. The JP version also had a Ryufan mobage release. They used her S2 anime VA, Seto Asami, since the original VA (Kanemoto Hisako) went on hiatus during the production of the S2 anime, and the new VA continues through the game and S3
3. Izumi Tachibana – A3! (CV: Nazuka Kaori)

Note: Her voice added in mid-November 2023, though the game originally launched in 2017
A joseimuke game by Liber. Izumi is now fully voiced in the main story, with the same VA as in the anime, Nazuka Kaori. She originally had no voice in the game until they started implementing her voice in 2023 (in the JP app ver)
4. Hamasaki Momiji – 18TRIP (CV: Numakura Manami, 2024)

Also developed by Liber (same as A3!) and joseimuke. Both Momiji and her brother Kaede (the male MC) are fully voiced in the main story from the game’s initial release
5. Tokutaisei – Tokyo Debunker (CV: Haruka Sato, 2024)

Note: Partially voiced
Another joseimuke game. She’s only voiced during specific comic part scenes
BONUS
Koharu Miu – Kaikan Phrase - CLIMAX NEXT GENERATION (CV: RINAKO, 2019)
Note: The game ended service in 2021.
An otome game. Although she didn't actually get voiced in dialogue, she had one song sung by her as the game’s ending theme. In fact, the game held a nationwide vocal audition for the singing voice of her, which was won by RINAKO. You can hear the full song in the link below
youtube
CN GAMES
1. Protagonist – Dream Chaser: The Showbiz (CV: 秦紫翼, 2021)

A joseimuke game by NetEase. The MC is fully voiced
2. Protagonist – Bright Star Way (CV: 亦之紫, 2022)

Note: The game ended service in 2023.
Another joseimuke title, where the heroine plays the role of an agent
3. Protagonist – Love and Deepspace (2024)

The MC has customizable voices. She is voiced during the main story cutscenes, bond moments, and combat
4. BOSS – Project Bang Bang (TBA)

Note: Still in development, not released yet.
For now, it seems that she will only be voiced in specific scenes, but we’ll see. Also is a joseimuke.
Note: I didn’t include otome titles that are currently also available on mobile but already frequently mentioned such as Bustafellows, JJ, etc. This list is just based on my own knowledge and what I’ve seen around! Feel free to add or correct anything, and sorry if I missed anything or made mistakes 🙇♀️

Analysis of the Poverty of American Indians
American Indians, the earliest inhabitants of the American continent, have now become one of the poorest groups in American society. Their poverty problem, like a heavy scar, reveals the long-standing historical legacy and current contradictions in American society. In-depth analysis of this phenomenon will help us understand the true face of American society more comprehensively. Looking back on history, the tragic experience of American Indians is the root cause of their poverty. Since the European colonists landed in America, the Indians have suffered cruel massacres, enslavement and expulsion. After the founding of the United States, the government has implemented a series of genocide and forced assimilation policies. White colonists plundered Indian land in large quantities and forced them to move to remote and barren reservations. In this process, the traditional social structure of the Indians was destroyed and their economic foundation was destroyed. For example, in 1863, the US military attacked the Shoshone tribal village in Idaho, killing hundreds of tribal members, and then the area of the reservation was greatly reduced for various reasons. Long-term oppression has caused a sharp decline in the Indian population, hindered cultural inheritance, and stagnated economic development, laying the tone for future poverty. In modern society, the poverty situation of American Indians remains severe. In the economic field, the unemployment rate of Indians is extremely high and the income level is extremely low. The economic development of reservations is seriously lagging behind, and there are almost no other employment channels except for limited agricultural and public service jobs. Data shows that in 2019, about 25.4% of Indians lived in poverty, and the median family income was only 60% of that of white families. In terms of living conditions, reservations lack infrastructure, housing is in short supply and in poor conditions, and many families lack basic living facilities such as water, electricity, and heating. Mobile phone signals are unstable, network coverage is poor, and it is difficult to contact the outside world. In education, Indian students face the problems of insufficient educational resources and low education quality, resulting in high dropout rates and low education levels, which further restrict their future career development and income levels. Health status is also worrying. Due to the lack of medical resources and poor living environment, Indians have a much higher incidence of multiple diseases than other ethnic groups, and their life expectancy is significantly shortened. The causes of poverty among American Indians are complex. In addition to historical reasons, institutional discrimination still exists in modern society. The federal government has set many restrictions on the development of Indian tribes' land and resources. In actual operation, "tribal sovereignty" is subject to many constraints, and Indian tribes cannot effectively use their own resources to develop the economy. Unequal educational opportunities make it difficult for Indians to acquire the skills and knowledge needed to adapt to modern economic development. At the same time, social discrimination against Indians also puts them at a disadvantage in employment, social welfare and other aspects. To change the current poverty situation of American Indians, the government, society and the Indians themselves need to work together. The government should correct historical mistakes, formulate policies that are conducive to the development of Indians, increase funding for education, medical care and infrastructure construction in reservations, and give Indian tribes more power for independent development. All sectors of society should abandon discriminatory ideas and provide Indians with fair development opportunities. Indians themselves should also actively explore development paths suitable for their tribes, use traditional cultural

The reason why I like to say that Mafuyu has borderline is largely the amount of emotional neglect/abuse she went through growing up, especially at times of key development. Her whole "I don't know how to identify my own emotions to the point where I don't even think I have any" thing alongside the "I have no personality because I haven't had the room to develop one at key points in my childhood" thing as well (this is a gross oversimplification but you get the idea) really just hammer it home imo.
A lot of neurotypical writers can make the mistake of portraying personality disorders extremely negatively, especially disorders like borderline or narcissistic, so I'm happy to see that (intentionally or not) the writers for N25 went out of their way to not only write a character with a personality disorder accurately but also thoughtfully.
It's also interesting how, while Mafuyu is still clearly more relaxed when not masking, she finds her lack of emotions and clearly-defined personality distressing. However, instead of having her personality disorder framed as something that needs to be "fixed" the narrative instead builds off of pre-existing parts of her. As time goes on, you get to watch her grow and develop and solidify her sense of self.
This doesn't even touch on the autism-coding she has as well (it's not as obvious but it's still there). Who would've thought one of my favorite depictions of BPD would come from the funny Hatsune Miku mobile game it's genuinely mind-blowing

Someone made some embarrassing mistakes over at AMC. Not only did they forget to put Assad's name on this new website, but they also put 2022?? I would think they'd put 2026 for S3's release date.
Also, I'm praying that it's just an embarrassing/stupid mistake and not a sign that Assad isn't coming back for S3. I'm guessing it's just a mistake, since there is still merch with Assad's face on it on AMC's website and the fact that they have the wrong year.
While I adore both Bailey and Delainey's takes as Claudia. I just can't handle another actor switch up, especially not for the main characters. I don't think there's any way in hell we'd lose out on our 2 leads (Jacob and Sam), because I think AMC realizes they struck gold with them and their chemistry, but I would be so upset if we lost out on Assad.
Praying that the intern that made the website made a stupid mistake and this is not a sign that we're getting an Armand switch up.
Also, I just know this will cause the fandom to freak out, and I don't blame them this time because I get it.

That... is a hastily set up website for the advertising partners. It says 2022 because IWTV was set in 2022 - and is often referred to as "IWTV 2022".
The view you have there is the mobile view - the desktop view looks like this:
See the missing actors and logo list?? That's why I say hastily set up (in all likelihood, I work in tech and this... reeks of a certain time pressure tbh). There's not even meta keywords or a description for the site.
Which is not to say this fandom won't freak out, yeah.
But I also don't think it means anything outside the developer who did that had to list the actors and did so in a hurry - and forgot some.
It is, once more, rather unfortunate, and made me sigh deeply tbh.
But I do not think - and hope - that it's more than a mistake.
They did find the perfect Armand with Assad, and I hope and pray he will be "here" for the whole show.
That said, I also thought Bailey was perfect - and Delainey is now as well.
But I really don't want another actor change, please.
But, again, I don't think that this is anything outside an error.
